Interior Folders - pendaflex, office supplies
I needed to buy 15 boxes of legal hanging file folders, 25 per box. Therefore, I searched all the major office supply online vendors, including Amazon, and this was the best price. I got my 15 boxes.
These are great hanging file folders. I prefer the recycled green ones for several reasons. I like the way they look - all business, they use recycled paper and they're less expensive.
The large tabs are very good. One can write a longer title for the tab or even leave space and reuse the same tab by crossing out what was written and using the remaining space. I write on these tabs rather than use a label maker because I'd rather save time and go with my own legible printing, but that's a personal choice.
Pendaflex is a big name in hanging file folders. You can't go wrong because there's nothing wrong that I can see with these. They're just as strong as all the green file folders you've ever used. That's why price matters. I recommend this product. Pendaflex Essentials Hanging Folders, 25 Per Box, 1/3 Cut, Legal, Green (81621)
What's to say? Pendaflex has been around a long long time, and knows how to make a quality product. Believe it or not, there is a difference; others I bought have plastic top bars, which bend and break with anything other than very thin file folders. These have metal, and really hold up, and the price was very competitive. - Folder Accessories - Pendaflex - File Folders - Office Supplies'

Panasonic Dect Cordless Phone
First, one of the reviews above states they have used these phones for years, but this series was first shipped in May 2011, so this review must be for a prior generation. And it is important, because this series has a lot of pluses that the prior generations did not have.
Second, we have used Panasonic phones (with very few exceptions) since their old wired phones! This product is replacing an earlier generation wireless series with 4 phones. We had two batteries in the old units starting to fail, so rather than buy replacement batteries for 5 year old phones, I bought this and am not disappointed at all. Some of the key reasons this may be the best Panasonic phone system yet are:
> The screen is so much better to read. I wear reading glasses and the old screens were tough to read without them, but the high contrast, white backlit screens on these phones are so much easier to read!
> The menu systems seem much better. Much of what you want to do is handled by the soft-touch buttons with screen readouts so rather than searching the small text below some of the buttons, the choices are much easier to see on the screen.
> The reception is so much better and covers a longer distance than before. Our old phones (5.8mHz system) would get harder to hear on both ends if we walked to the other end of the house and walking a few steps outside was sure to cause a drop, but this new DECT 6 works anywhere in the home and far outside with no noticeable diminution in sound quality. (Pana makes a range extender optional piece you can add to the system, but I cant see any use we would need for it!)
> One of the best new features is the ability to use one of the handsets for temporary battery backup during a power outage! Most wireless systems go down entirely if there is no power, so if there is an emergency or even a short duration power failure, you cannot call out or receive calls. With this phone, if the power fails but your handset is charged, just putting it in the base station powers it and allows you to call out or receive calls. This feature alone is why I waited a few months for this version to ship. We have had a number of short power outages, but this feature eliminates most of that as an issue.
> We use the phone company's voicemail system so we do not need the recording function, but this phone includes the ability to speed-dial the external voicemail and, more importantly, if there is a message on that system, the Panasonic handsets still show a flashing light to alert you to a message and when you pick up any handset, the screen also shows you there is a voicemail.
There are a lot of other features that we do not use, like the Voice Caller ID that announces who is calling (we don't need the extra noise!) but they worked fine (until I turned this off). So I have to say that this is a great phone system overall. Light weight, easy to use, easy to read - just excellent! Panasonic KX-TG6645B DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone with 5-Handsets
This cordless phone and answerer are new for 2011 and the performance is outstanding.
You can buy this phone/answerer in five configurations: KX-TG6632B (two cordless phones and answerer), KX-TG6633B (three cordless phones and answerer), KX-TG6643B (three cordless phones and answerer WITH keypad), KX-TG6644B (four cordless phones and answerer WITH keypad), KX-TG6645B (five cordless phones and answerer WITH keypad). All have the same handsets and the answerer differs only in that some come with a keypad and the other without. The features and performance remain the same.
Pluses:
Near perfect display: Readable with no back-light and with the back-light on (hit any key) there is a brilliant white background with purple text using very large characters. This is the best display I've ever seen. The fonts are near perfect and the text is huge!
Range - outstanding: Past cordless phones have proven unreliable just outside my garage door. I had perfect reception there and decided to experiment. My driveway is 250 feet long and I had perfect reception 250 feet from my house! Stunning!
Voice quality - outstanding (yet I do wish I could turn the volume up just a bit more from its highest setting). Also there is no hiss or other audio anomalies.
Battery life: the batteries are standard NIMH AAA which are easily replaced. After a few days the meter shows no discharge. I don't doubt you'll have at least 11 days of stand-by as quoted in Panasonic's specifications.
Programming: Reasonably easy although I had to consult the manual a few times. Program one phone and the rest (including the base unit) automatically update. That is a very nice feature. Even if you don't wish to do any programming the default settings are wisely chosen.
Comfort: These phones are very light weight but comfortable if you like to cradle the phone between your ear and shoulder. A belt clip is included.
No interference: The dect standard (1.9 GHZ) is a new frequency that does not interfere or share the same spectrum with past cordless phones or other wireless devices like routers. The "plus" designation is simply Panasonic marketing - meaning this is the second generation of Panasonic DECT phones.
Tone control: Three settings - normal, high frequency boost and low frequency boost.
Power outages: Keep one handset in the base and the system will function for about two hours during a power outage. The handset powers the base in this case.
Features: Too many to list but every feature offered seems to provide a great deal of flexibility. For example - talking caller ID can be turned on or off at either the answerer or handset respectively. Three groups of favorite numbers are offered so three people can have separate lists and each group can be given a unique name.
Minuses:
Volume: The ringer, speaker phone and handset are all just a bit low on volume, at least, to my ear. At their highest settings I find the volume acceptable but I wish they all could go a bit louder.
Answerer: Limited and rather basic. You can answer the phone there only by hitting the speaker phone button. You can't dial out except for three buttons which you can program. More flexibility is offered on the TG6643B which has a keypad but it still has no hardwired handset. You can only record or check your announcement at a handset but you can play back or erase messages at the answerer.
Conclusion:
This is a near perfect cordless phone offering clarity, great range, no interference with existing cordless appliances, a wonderful display and a number of other features. It shows the maturity of the technology brought to us in 2011
Overall I highly recommend this phone. I'd strongly recommend you purchase one more handset than you think you'll need given the low cost of an additional handset when purchasing a package. Purchasing separate handsets at a later date is much more costly.
Keep in mind if it does not say dect PLUS - you are looking at an older model Panasonic ---- many of which are still offered for sale on Amazon
BEST DEAL: As of May, 2011 the five handset version with answerer is only $10.00 more than the three handset version. The four handset version is priced higher than either of those. Go figure. Having an extra handset or two you'll never regret!'

wrist weights - wrist weights
I have had a pair of All Pro wrist weights for years (15+)and I love them. But they were only a 4 lb. pair. I was looking to up the weight I wear on my wrists during workouts and was thrilled to find that All Pro was still around. These are the most comfortable and durable weights I have ever owned. My 4lb. pair are still in very good shape, and I have used them daily off & on for the last 15 years. I expect this 10lb. pair to wear much the same. They are also very comfortable and the weights are bar weights - very easy to adjust, and they are very secure in the pouches. No worries for losing the weights or throwing them out during a work-out (I still do some of my old Taebo tapes and these endure those moves very nicely! - also work well with Jillian Michaels' workouts!) In my opinion, these are the best weights for your money. Try them! All Pro 10 Lb Adjustable Ankle Weights (Pair)
These weights survived 10 years of use before needing replacing. The velcro band holds them very securely. (The Danskin I purchased must be secured with a rubber band! I gave them away.)
I'm not going to take anymore chances. The All-Pro was comfortable, secure, no hassles. So I'm about to purchase my second pair of All-Pro ankle weights. I'm hoping the quality is still as good as my original pair.
[All-Pro also makes a smaller pair of wrist-weights. I have those the same amount of time as the ankle-weights , and those have not yet worn out.]
I like these weights a lot. I prefer adjustable weights; I can work up to the maximum weight. I wish these weights had longer straps for the Velcro closure - I have large calves. Also, I'd like them better if there were different right- and left-fitting weights available for a pair.
The All Pro Adjustable Ankle Weights are a very good buy. They are comfortable and easy to put on. I had a different pair when I was in high school and they would chafe and give me blisters. I use these All Pro ankle weights when I run or walk and they are very comfortable with no chafing. My son tried them and he liked them so much I just ordered him a pair.
I use ankle weights in my workouts for leg raises and jogging. They are time effective for me in maximizing my caloric burn in a small time frame. I train about 5 times a week and also wear the ankle weights throughout my strenth training sets. The first ankle weight set I bought from WalMart only lasted 1 year and developed a leak. They were always uncomfortable. The second ankle weight set I bought was from Altus and I expected quality, but they only lasted 1 day and a strap gave way due to poor stitching. These All Pro ankle weights are "Simply The Best" in that they are so well designed and well made. They are very comfortable to wear and are worth the higher price to get a quality product that I use every day.
I got these for rehab after total knee replacement. It has been great to have the ability to increase the weights gradually. While these have worked great for me, they may not fit someone with larger or thicker ankles. They seem durable and are adequately cushioned.
Very bad weights for the ankle. Does not grip my ankles at all. I wrapped it around my ankles and the slippery vinyl fabric slides right down past my ankle and drags along the ground as I walk -- causing me to trip. I wanted to use these ankle weights to do aerobic exercises like dancing, but it's too dangerous. Also hurts my ankles because of the heavy dragging effect. The weights cannot be placed to conform to my ankles. Too big, uncomfortable and painful. Very poor design. Do not buy. - Wrist Weights'

Exercise Ball - exercise ball, ball
I love this ball, I don't even mind if I leave it out at my home. It has a bit of sparkly in it. Totally different texture than my old ball. The "Anti Burst" feature sold me as after 4 years w/ my old call it bursted on me during a "Pilates on the Ball Session" luckily I wasn't hurt. (If I had been turned the other direction I could have smacked my head on the coffee table on the way down.)
So I went online and found this beauty to replace it. Love the foot pump too, felt like it inflated faster than my old hand pump. TKO Fitness Ball Set 55cm
The ball is quite sturdy, the hand pump is a workout in itself. The sizing is confusing, among all brands, they can't agree. The box says the 55cm is for 5'6"-6'0", I bought this ball under the impression that 55cm was the size for anyone under 5'4". This is my reality: 5'2", 190lbs, looking mostly for something other than the couch to sit on, working on core strength. This ball is smaller than I wanted, my legs do not make 90 degree angle. Maybe I am too heavy, or perhaps after a few days I will be able to get more air in it. It will be great for exercizes where I hold it between my arms or legs, but for sitting on, or push-ups I will order a 65cm ball. My recommendation is to skip the sizing charts, find someone with a ball and decide for yourself which size suits your needs. Shipping was fine.
No nasty plastic smell and residue when using it. Has a metallic tint to it and looks nice. Included hand pump did what it suppose to do. I am 5'1" and 200 lbs and this ball is doing a great job. It gets a bit "soft and saggy" when lying on it but I guess thats what makes it anti-burst. I counter it by pumping the ball a bit more air into it and it is now working greater than ever. Included poster/exercise guide is good. I have owned the ball for over a month and the air has not leak a bit. My 250 lbs sibling was using it and no complaint. My cousin also used the ball as a chair while playing video game and he said it helps keep him in good posture. The ball does LOOK a but small for a 5'1" person but for a beginner this ball is definitely the right size to WORK with. Might buy a bigger one in the future when I am ready for the challenge.
If you've ever had a Fitness Ball burst on you, you'll know why I'm partial to 'Anti-Burst' Fitness Balls. Great for ab exercises, stability and balance work outs and strength training with hand weights. If you're not sure where to begin, this exercise ball also comes with a Fitness Guide which reviews 14 basic exercises. Comes included with a hand pump. Periodically, I find that I need to add more air. The plug can be difficult to remove by hand but a good pair of pliers will take it out quickly and easily. I will be purchasing a larger one for my boyfriend as this is too small for him (but perfect for me at 5'4").
This ball is wonderful! It has proved to be the best purchase I've made this year. I have arthritis and I generally do water aerobics for exercise, but now I can alternate with my stability ball because all the exercises have a low impact on my joints!!! Thank TKO for making it "anti-burst" because the one I bought a few years ago, did just that. Now, I don't have to be so extremely careful of this one because the outer skin is tougher! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a low impact way to exercise.
I hate exercise. That said, using this ball is really very fun! I can watch TV while using this, and forget I'm even exercising. My abs and thighs were really feeling it the day after I started. I can use it whenever I want, which is the big draw for me. Try it, you'll like it, even you lazy slugs, like me!
Based on other reviews, I was a bit unsure whether to get this or the 65cm. This is absolutely perfect for me (5'5", 130 lbs). It was super easy to inflate with the included pump (accidentally overinflated it at first). Along with free weights, this is a great way for me to work out at home, and the price is a bargain!
I bought one ball and innocently brought it to work and replaced my chair with it. A week later everyone in the area had ordered a ball. They have all replaced their chairs and cubicle tourists come from other departments to see what all the hubbub is about. 3 others outside the department have balls. It's becoming a trend. We've hung up our exercise charts and try new things often. Definitely breaks up the day in a better way than a smoke break! There are lots of comments about back pressure having been relieved since switching from office chairs. - Stability Ball - Ball - Exercise - Exercise Ball'

Xbox Live Points - video games, microsoft points
This is a lot better than doing it through your xbox. For one, no tax. The other reason, for me at least, is that if you put your credit card into xbox live, you cant remove it. You can change it, but it will always have a credit card on file. Buying these points through xbox live would have cost me $54.12. I would rather save that $4.12, thank you. Xbox 360 Live 4000 Points [Online Game Code]
First off, I'm an otherwise very happy Xbox Live Gold member. Instead of buying a points card from a retailer, I made the mistake of buying the points online from Microsoft through the Xbox. I used my gamer tag account and entered my credit card on the TV and I bought 500 points. I got the email confirmation that I bought the points. I then used the points. So far so good.
Over the next two days, four other Xbox charges totaling $30 mysteriously appeared on my credit card. Someone bought more points and a game subscription using my credit card info. I called Xbox Live support- their answer was "we don't give refunds." I explained that it's not a REFUND if my account is used fradulently. They still said no.
Note that clearly the security leak was with them, as no other fraudulent charges appeared on my credit card...just Xbox charges.
I then asked them to delete my credit card info from my Xbox Live account. They said they could not do this. I could not believe this! Given that someone had access to my credit card and they were unwilling to remove my credit card info, I had no choice but to cancel my credit card.
My advice- buy the points from a trusted source like Amazon. Don't ever give Microsoft direct access to your credit card info. I hope this helps.
I've lived overseas in Europe for the past 8 years working with the military. The thing about Xbox live is that they dont accept APO address's for the credit card (Armed Forces Overseas address). Now i can order the code in 5 seconds instead of having to buy a card and have it shipped to me. Thankyou sooooo much Amazon.
This is a great denomination to release Microsoft points in. Since most games on Xbox Live Arcade are purchased in 400 point ($5) increments this card give you the ability to download ten 400 point games or five 800 point games or some other combination (you get the idea). $50 is also a much more acceptable amount than the $62.50 for 5000 points. Since this is on a card it makes this possible to give as a gift or buy without using a credit card. This would be a worthwhile purchase for anyone with an Xbox 360 and Xbox Live.
This is a must have if your xbox 360 is connected to the internet. It is used in place of money on the xbox live marketplace. Their you can buy new skins for the xbox guide, HD and standard definition movies and TV shows. Movies include Superman Returns, The Departed, Blood Diamond, and Jackass. TV shows include Star Trek, The Colbert Report and South Park.
HD TV shows are 240 points(per episode), so you can get about 6 with this card. Standard definition are 160, so you can get 10 with this card.
A new release movie in HD is 480 points, so you can get 3 on the card. New release standard definition are 320, so about 5 movies worth on the card.
Classic movies are 360 for HD and 240 for standard. So 4 and 6 movies respectively.
You can also purchase points directly through xbox live, 1000 points costs $12.50.
These reviews show up on the list for all four options, the one, three, and twelve month subscriptions, as well as the marketplace points. Carefully choose the "Size" above, which is where you choose between live "gold" months and marketplace points. Amazon just put all of these different products onto the same page, calling them different sizes.
There is of course a difference between months and points, as you can spend points without a gold subscription (just use the free included "silver" subscription with every XBOX 360), and you can certainly buy gold months without having to get any extra points. So one is not required for the other. The points get you extra content downloads, and the months get you online play time.
I bought one of these cards while it was slightly on-sale, making it a bit cheaper than buying points directly through Microsoft.
It's just a plain, plastic card with a portion that you scratch off to reveal a long key code that you enter into your XBL account.
A word of caution though. Don't scratch it too hard because you can actually scratch off the key code lettering, which is what happened to me. Luckily, I was still able to figure out what my code was and the card didn't go to waste.
With free shipping through my Amazon Prime account, this was easy enough and I saved a tiny bit of money.
I didn't get a bargain on these points when I purchased them (in other words, Amazon was selling them for the same price you could purchase them directly from Microsoft for), but with free shipping, it was an easy way to give my husband XBox points. My mom bought him Rock Band for Christmas, so I gave him points to download new songs with! I didn't want to put them directly on the XBox, and this was a good way to wrap them and give them to him as a gift. He loved them.
If you need points to buy games, gamer pics, themes, or movies through marketplace, you will need Microsoft points.
This card for 1600 points is $20.00 worth of points, so you save a penny!
Most people buy their points online through the marketplace, but these make great gifts for the Xbox 360 Game fan who you are not quite sure what to buy them.
This is an awesome service that amazon is providing to those of us who cant purchase the cards through our xbox. Those of us who are serving our country from out of the country (IE Europe) can not use our credit cards with APO bank acct's. So Thank you amazon this is awesome! - Xbox Live - Video Games - Live Points - Microsoft Points'

Office Supplies - black, retractable
These pens are economically priced, but stop working very quickly! There appears to be copious amounts of ink visible in the barrel, but the pens just quit writing. In other words...they really suck! Will not purchase anymore. Zebra Z-Grip Retractable Ballpoint Pen, Medium, 1.0 mm, Clear Barrel, Black Ink 12-Count (22210)
The look and feel of this pen is great but its very "picky" about what it wants to work on. for instance: If you are using a pad of paper the dents created by writing on the top sheet will cause the pen to "skip" on the following page, also if your writing on thin paper (ie carbon-less multi copy forms) it wont write. The Ball/Ink is just far to finicky about when it will actually leave a mark.
Bottom line:
Pen works well enough if your writing on a "normal" single sheet of paper on a hard surface, but forget about using it on legal pads or multi-part forms.
I got this box because of its price but was not really satisfied. I won't be getting any more Zebras because I found their flow inconsistent and their barrels not very durable. The fact is if you're looking for cheap pens for a public setting then they're up to the job, but if it's something you're planning on using on a daily basis you can do better. I now take care of my pens much more than I did in the past as a way of getting around the cumulative expense of having to purchase them continuously.
I bought a large package of these pens in early 2010. I stored the ones we weren't using in our desk supplies. When I needed a new one this weekend, I pulled one out and couldn't get it to write. So, thinking that I should have stored them upright, I put the pens in a mug on my desk. Two days later, none will write. They all look as if there is plenty of ink as another reviewer stated. What a complete waste of money. I will be throwing away 7 of these.
At first I thought this pen was great. But very shortly (by most ball
point pen standards) after you start using it, it just decides not to work any more. This is the 5th or 6th time this has
happened with this brand of pen. I just threw out the rest of them.
They are terrible...avoid them at any price.
I wish I could give these pens a good review - I think they are so nice looking, they have a good grip, and I like how they write. However, I consistently have difficulty actually keeping them writing. In a 12-pack, a quarter of the pens (so far) have abruptly given up working within a week of being purchased. I can see there is plenty of ink in the barrel, but nothing comes out. Very frustrating.
I happened to end up with one of these pens, and I liked it so much that I had to order a box.
I'm tired of reaching for a pen at home, only to get one that won't write right away or leaves blobs of ink. These pens begin writing instantly and smoothly.
The other reviewer is correct about the point size--it's more like a fine point than a medium. But that just keeps the writing crisp, with no blobs.
My favorite office-use pens are the Zebra F301 and F402. Unfortunately I have a tendency to leave my pens laying around here and there, and I've come to realize that at a dollar or more each these two styles of pens aren't very cost effective for me.
Enter the Z-Grip. It's a bit thicker than the F301 and F402, but not enough to be objectionable for me (the Zebra Silver Select comes to mind as one pen far too big in the grip). I do have large hands, however, so those who prefer a thin writing instrument may want to look elsewhere.
As for the writing itself, I have no issues with it 95% of the time, but once in a while I find it a bit more finicky on glossy paper than the F301 or F402. But for appr. 1/4 the price I consider this a reasonable tradeoff. And it is miles ahead of the PaperMate junk that is available in our office supply cabinet. Reccomended.
I just bought a 7-pack of these at Walmart for $2.50! I agree with other reviewers about them being 'skippy' & not consistent in delivering ink-on-paper while writing in some situations. I was a big fan of Zebra Orbitz retractable gel-ink pens when they were still available at Walmart because of their price, and Zebra F/G-301 stainless because of the refill ability(But I kept losing those). Genrally I like the consistency/ease of writing, waterproof & archival qualities of gel-ink pens from Zebra. This pen is OK especially at the price I paid, but not my favorite, but it's not gel-ink.
Maybe I should just go back to using a pencil.
At first, these seem like perfectly good pens. But after a while, they stop writing. You can see that there's still plenty of ink, but the pen just doesn't write. The ball seems to be rolling okay, but the ink is stuck. It's as if a big air bubble somehow got in and won't go away.
As you write and the column of ink gets lower, everything seems to be fine. You won't know when it's going to stop working. Within a package of pens, each pen will stop at a different, unpredictable moment. But all of them will stop eventually, long before they run out of ink. You'll have a full set of what look to be viable, half-used pens, but none of them will write.
If you can get a pack of these for less than half the price of a comparable pack of Bics (those NEVER stop writing until ALL the ink is gone), you might get your money's worth because you'll get about half the use out of them. But if you pay any more than that, you'll be wasting your money. Don't waste your money! - Zebra - Retractable - Pens - Black'

Photography Equipment - camera accessories, remote control
I just got this remote control a few days back, and so far I am pretty satisfied with it. The shipment was prompt and it arrived even faster than some of the Amazon's own products. I am using it with Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi. I chose it over some alternative products due to its compact size, and that comes in handy when lugging around a whole bunch of camera add-ons. I only have a couple of problems with it:
1. The user-instruction sheet is very poorly written and not very clear on a couple of crucial steps of the set up. It would have been more useful to have something that explains the set up in some detail with each one of the Canon products for which it's meant to be used.
2. The range of the remote is rather limited. I have not measured it exactly, but it seems that it doesn't work beyond 15 feet away.
7-28-2008 Update.
Since it seems that a lot of people are having problems with the instructions that came with this item, I decided to post a simple set-up procedure that worked for me:
1. Turn on the camera.
2. Press the "Drive mode" menu button. This is the same button as the left arrow on my camera.
3. Toggle between different setting using left and right arrow.
4. Make sure that the "Self-timer/Remote control" option is highlighted.
5. Press set button.
6. You are ready to roll. Point the remote to the camera (from the front of the camera) and press either the upper "S" (for immediate shooting) or "2S" (for 2s delayed shooting) buttons.
11-19-2009 Update.
From what I understand, the other buttons are meant to be used with Canon's point-and-shoot cameras. "S" is for shooting, and "W" and "T" are for zooming out/in. They will not work Canon's DSLR cameras. Opteka RC-4 Wireless Remote Control for Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT, XTi, XSi, T1i, T2i, T3i, 60D, 7D & 5D Mark II Digital SLR Cameras
The remote is handy, small and it does what it is supposed to do. It looks quite good I might say and I am very happy I took this instead of canon original. For this kind of simple products (not high-tech) it is not worth paying for the brand.
After setting the camera in the "remote mode" then press S/2S and you'll get the picture.
On the other hand, the limited acting distance is what I expected. It is the same as with the TV set remote. You can not use infrared from very long distance
Fabulous, pocket size, help you to work off camera not touching it at all and no having troubles with cables. Now I'm sometimes in the photos I take.
Perfect working condition, cheap (not the hard prices of the Canon originals)and battery is available practically everywhere.
I would recommend it for everyone having a Canon EOS.
Directions were not very clear and were not written in perfect english. This isn't just for Cannon cameras, it's a generic product that works on several cameras. The best I can tell, only one of the buttons on the remote actually work with the Cannon Rebel, which is what I bought it for. The other buttons are useless and do not work with my camera. I can take a picture remotely, so I guess it does work. Just disappointed in that it was advertised for the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT, XTi (my camera), and the XSi, but is really for multiple cameras and the only button that works is the shutter button.
I just got the remote and I'm very pleased so far. It works with my Rebel T1i and you can use it for the BULB mode (click once to open shutter, click again to turn shutter off).
The 2S mode will take 2 second and then open the shutter.
Very happy so far and I hope the battery lasts.
Works great with the Canon XSi. I had a bit of an issue finding the setting on the camera, but one email to Opteka (with a quick response within a couple hours) and I had it working great. See below for setting up the Canon Rebel:
Please perform the following actions to get the remote to work on your Canon Digital Rebel:
1. Turn on the camera.

The S (shoot), W+T (zoom control), are for select powershot point-and-shoot cameras.
I love this camera remote. It actual has more functions than the one Canon sells for my Canon Digital Rebel XSi (450D). The range is awesome. I love the delay button... works great when doing self portraits. I use this remote all of the time when I'm shooting from my tripod. I highly recommend this remote to any camera user. So easy to use and it works flawlessly. Very impressed! - Remote Control - Camera Remote - Canon - Camera Accessories'

Postal Scale
I was so tired of my daily trips to the post office to ship products. I read so many great reviews on this scale and decided to purchase it. It works perfect, the scale is accurate. I love that it was half the price as the ones you can buy at the post office. And I love that it weighs up to 35lbs! You will not be disappointed with this scale! Weighmax 2822-35 lbs capacity, Black, postal shipping scale
GREAT PRODUCT !! Easy to use, very accurate - almost exact so far when compared to USPS scale. Makes it much easier to estimate what postage is and saves time at the post office. Real handy when estimating weight of Ebay sales.
This was a pretty cheap scale. I wanted to weigh envelopes and packages at work so I could just use stamps instead of waiting in line at the post office. It does the job and seems to weigh accurately, as I haven't had anything returned without enough postage. I'm using it with batteries and have done so for about 5 months without having to change them, although I only use it a couple times a week, so hopefully the batteries will last a good long while. The power cord it comes with is kind of short. It would be nice if you could program it with shipping charges so you could see the price for shipping, rather than just the weight, but that's probably a feature that would add more cost to it. Every time I turn it off it defaults to grams, and I weigh in ounces, so I wish it would stay on my selection, but that's only a minor inconvenience. Overall nothing fancy but it's cheap and does the job of weighing stuff.
I am a seller on Amazon. I find that the postal scale saves me time and money as I can print the label with tracking ability right at my computer. The postal scale is easy to work and I have had no problem working them and even checked the product with the post office to see for accuracy and each time right on. No need to stand in long lines at the post office to mail orders. The size is just right small and takes up less room on my desk than the printer does.'

Outdoor Speakers - volume control
These rating systems really do need a ZERO. Occasionally you need it. This is one of those.
I could not connect the speaker wires for the left channel. The set screws are blocked by the sides of the front cover plate. The answer, of course, is to remove the cover. Easier said than done. I'm not a novice at this, and I was still unable to remove the knob to get at the nut securing the cover to the controller.
The instructions made no mention of this need to remove the cover plate, so they don't tell you how the knob is secured. I tried several things, but when the force exerted got me worried about breaking something I backed off.
The product ships in a plain white box. Just a part number/name on the label. There is no vendor name on the box or the very skimpy instruction sheet. No website, email, phone - nothing. So I had no way to ask a very simple question that might have save me time and hassle, and avoided completion delay.
the good news is that Amazon is not charging me for the return. It appears Amazon just got this product. I suggested to the Customer Service rep that they pull the product, or they will be getting a lot more of them returned.
Actually, this is unfortunate as the control seems to be otherwise well made.

UPDATE
I later learned that there is some disassembly required to get the wiring attached. It's not difficult, but there is ZERO documentation on that part and it is far from obvious. I still give it one star for poor docs. New Outdoor Weatherproof Wall Mount Impedance Matching Speaker Dial Volume Control Switch OVCDG
This is a solid product at a good Price ($35). As another reviewer had stated it was difficult to get the speaker wire in that was close to the wall plate. However if you remove the green terminal that the speaker wires go into, it is a lot easier(it just clips on). This will allow you to attach the wire without holding the controller. Also I suggest only using 16 guage wire if you are only installing a pairs of speaker. I has installed 2 pairs of speakers and the 16 guage wire was to very tight fit when you twisted both wires together and tried to install in the terminal. If you are hooking up more that one pair of speakers only use 18 or 22 guage wire it will make your install a lot easier. The only issue I have had is that the instructions do not tell you how to adjust the shorting bars to help match the speaker impedance. Right now i have to have my Onkyo reciver turned up very loud to get signal to the outdoor speakers. That is the only reason why it did not get 5 stars. - Volume Control'

I bought this attachment to cut holes in 5mm marine plywood for inspection port hatches on a boat I was building. The attachment worked extremely well, cutting a perfect, clean hole, with no wobble and no raggedness in the cut. Dremel 678-01 Circle Cutter and Straight Edge Guide
So far I have only used this in soft materials (ie plastic) to cut circles. I used it to make some cat litter boxes out of plastic storage boxes, and used it to make some cut-outs on some rain barrels I'm making. It seems to work fine so far-- though like I said I haven't tried it on other things like drywall and wood which I plan to do in the future. Useful little gadget.
I bought this item to cut some circles out of acrylic. To have it work correctly, you'll really need the center pin to be very secure, and in my case with acrylic, I drilled pilot holes. Fortunately, I needed those holes anyway for my project. But it cuts very nice circles, and for the price, I have no complaints. I wish that I had this tool for earlier projects.
The Dremel Circle cutter is a handy accessory to the basic Dremel tool, and it is adequate for the job for which I purchased it.
It is cheaply made and rough and a bit awkward to use. It is also cheap in price, so I cannot complain too much.
I value tools, and would have paid more for a better tool, and would been more satisfied.
In sum, it does the job, and I am being fussy.
Makes cutting drywall holes sooooo easy.
just the sizing is a little confusing and I would have to do a test on a piece of paper first to see if the size was right. (just dab a little marker or paint on the bit and do a circle without the device on, on a piece of paper then overlay the paper to see if the size matches up.
I recommend it, makes a nice addition to dremel
Unlike the router table, the housing it screws into is better.
I've used it to do over sized radii by making an attachment for it.
A sharp cutting tool improves the quality of work. I also tried
using a 1/8 inch end mill. Not sure if it worked better than the
Dremel cutter, still, after getting used to it, thought it worked
pretty well. Feed rate is important.'

Rotary Tool Accessories - diamond cutting wheel, arts and crafts
For the price this kit is an amazing deal! I bought it figuring the case it came in would be next to useless, but I took a chance on the bits being all there and in good condition. I was pleasantly surprised, the case seemed sturdy, the little dividers in the front were loose, and the pieces were displaced, but it was nothing a little glue couldn't fix, and displacement of small parts is to be expected for something that gets shipped half way across the US.
If you're looking for a good set of rotary tools for a great price and don't really mind a little gluing/rearranging this is a great price.
The only thing I would be aware of is if you're looking to give this as a gift you might want to open it up and fix it first before giving it for presentation purposes. Despite this I'm giving it five stars for the great price/accessories. 228 pc. Rotary Tool Accessories Set w/ Wooden Case
If you are looking for good rotary tool bits these are nice and at a very good price, however if you are also interested in the box be prepared to do some repairs to the tool holders and dividers inside. The one I recieved they were not correctly glued in place the holes for the tools were not drilled very good or in line. to fix I had to clean up the drilled holes and re-glue the tool holders and dividers back in place. The outer box is nice though and was in good condition.
The box and the separating compartments were actually intact when I received this in the mail, which came as quite a surprise to me, considering the other reviews. However, what they say about these being fully functional bits is true in that there's more here than most could hope to burn through assuming they knew what they were doing with a rotary tool. Great value if you dont want to pay for name brand bits that'd get worn out quickly with heavy usage.
The box I recieved is about 1 1/2 times wider than the illustration, with more tools and accessories. More, but basically the same variety. Specifically there are 40 "tools" (corresponding to the top two rows). The photo shows two brass wire brushes. In fact the kit comes with NO brass wire brushes, but comes with 3 nylon brushes and 3 steel brushes. I would have prefered more and better brushes.
The remaining 188 "accessories" are mostly unmounted cutting disks, sanding disks, sanding drums, grinding wheels, and polishing wheels. Indeed, two sections (on the bottom row) are filled with cutting disks. Three sections are filled with polishing wheels. In addition there is one container of sanding disks, one section of sanding drums, one section of unmounted grinding wheels, and one container of polishing compound.
The box I recieved was entirely intact. Nothing broken, and all but a few unmounted grinding wheels were in their place.
Realistically, there are few tools I did not still have from my old Dremel kit. But what I use most (and was out of) was cutting disk, sanding disks, and sanding drums. The set is a bargain just for those.
Note however, that the sanding disks are small and NOT self-adhesive, and correspondingly there is no tool to hold self-adhesive sanding disks. If you've been spoiled by dremel diamond cutting disks, you may be disappointed by the "ordinary" cutting disks in the kit.
This is a very nice set of accessories for Dremel-like rotary tools. There are enough different tools here to satisfy most any hobbyist's needs. It's great to have all of these different bits in a handy storage box, but I would have liked to have a "Whitman's Sampler"-like diagram defining each bit (composition and grit of the sanding and grinding bits, etc.) My box arrived in perfect condition with all pieces intact, so no complaints on that end. This set is well worth the price even if it didn't include the storage box. If you own a Dremel, or similar rotary tool, you really can't go wrong by purchasing this set.
the pieces are held in by plastic pieces and they might have to be glued in but over all it's a great set for the price. If you're buying it for the box then shop for boxes and not rotary tool sets. I'm only rating it 4/5 cause I think I'm missing 2 cutting discs. It really does have everything you would need to do just about anything.
The case is garbage, but even if all the accessories arrived in a plastic bag,it's still a good deal. Once you finish off sanding and reassembling everything, the case functions OK. The amount of stuff you get is well worth the price. - Diamond Points - Rotary Tool - Arts And Crafts - Diamond Cutting Wheel'

Portable Speakers - portable speakers, docking stations
I bought this item after reading several positive reviews posted on this site. Having tried it out, I do agree with many of the positive comments, but also found a couple of negatives that turned out to be deal-breakers for me, and I have decided to return it. One of the negatives is specific to my particular listening preference and may not apply to other folks. I bought this unit to use with my iPod in the bedroom. I like to fall asleep listing to SOFT music, so good low-level volume control is important for me. Unfortunately this unit are not well matched to that need. It has very little sensitivity at low levels: with the volume set only a few steps above zero on the push-button control, the sound level is already getting rather loud. Worse, the unit does not "remember" the previous volume stetting when it is switched on, instead it automatically resets to a mid level (which is actually quite loud) - this is something one could live with, obviously, but for me it's just too irritating.
My other negative is a general concern about the durability of the vinyl cover, which has to be folded back to support the unit when it is in use. The idea behind the design is good, making it easy to transport with the cover in place. However, as a support it seems flimsy, and the quality of the vinyl may not be sufficient for long-term use, given that it has to be folded back on itself each time the unit is set up. Past experience of folding vinyl in other situations leads me to suspect that it will soon develop splits along the fold.
To summarize:
Positives: Decent sound quality for a small unit; highly portable; looks good; easy to use if you don't care about the volume issue noted above.
Negatives: Volume control does not remember previous setting when unit is switched on and lacks sensitivity at low levels; vinyl cover may not be very durable. Altec Lansing IMT320 inMotion Compact iPod Speaker System
Good: AUX input. Battery powered and mobile, flip cover for travel, doesn't buzz on AT&T network, loud.
BAD: when its plugged into an outlet it automatically powers off when nothing is being played for a few minutes and when you turn it back on, it does not retain the volume level setting you were previously using! Very annoying. It needs a remote. The button are poorly located directly behind your device where they are hard to see and get to.
I use this unit every day at work as PC speakers which charge my iphone while I'm at work. When I pause Itunes for more than 5 minutes or so, the speakers power off and I must turn them back on. When they are turned on, the volume is reset to half, which is too loud in my office. Also, because I am constantly turning the unit on after it shuts off, the buttons are in a bad spot...right behind the iphone.
If I had known all of the annoying things about this unit at the time I purchased, I would have spent more money for a better unit.
WOW! Great product for the cost! We have bought 4 different brands that either crap-out or sound like crap, Altec's CEO is not kidding when he says most people make a pretty box and fill it with whatever speaker they can find, and not to mention the internal amps in those crappy sets. These guys have nailed it! definately easy to use, and great to listen to. I am getting ready to a third unit now (yes we bought 2 already) and I am glad we did.
Thank you Altec Lancing!
I guess I thought this device would be larger than it is. I purchased it mainly for my garage so I could listen to music while I work. The sound is pretty good for it's size and the bass is probably the best you can expect from such small speaker. I guess I would enjoy something a bit larger though for a more full sound. We did take it on a recent camping trip and it's size was an advantage in that situation. The ability to run it off batteries was a plus.
If I had to do it all over again I would spend a bit more $$ and go for something larger. - Ipod Speakers - Portable Speakers - Ipod Dock - Docking Stations'
