Panasonic Lumix Battery - lumix, battery

I've taken at least 100 pictures in my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ4K 8.1MP Digital Camera with 10x Wide Angle MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Black)with this battery, most of them with flash, since first buying it, charging it, and installing it, and the battery meter just moved down the first bar (there are 3 bars total).

This battery seems to have AT LEAST the capacity of the factory Lumix battery, which makes sense as the factory battery is rated at 1000mAh, and this one is rated at 1300mAh. As far as I can tell so far, that rating is NOT an exaggeration.

One thing to note and watch out for -- the printing/writing on this battery is on the OPPOSITE SIDE of the factory Lumix battery, so you have to put it in the charger and camera in reverse. Pretty self-explanatory if you're looking right at it. Just thought I should point that out.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Kinamax 1300mAh S007 / CGA-S007 / CGR-S007 / DMW-BCD10 Replacement Battery for Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1, DMC-TZ2, DMC-TZ3, DMC-TZ4, DMC-TZ5 - Japanese Cells

So far so good. Opened the Amazon box this afternoon and dropped this battery into the charger. Pulled the battery off the charger tonight and started to shoot:

350 photos with my TZ5 (2/3 with flash) and the second bar on the battery meter just ticked off. Pretty much says it all.

Excellent economical alternative to the Panasonic battery.

Very happy with the choice.

Needed a spare battery so I ordered this despite two one-star reviews. Not to disparage those reviewers, but this battery is great! Fits fine in my TZ5, and it's a "J" model vs "A". Charges fine as well. I don't have any longevity data yet, but at 1300 mAh, it ought to be at least as good as the Panasonic.

I got this battery as a spare for my new Lumix TZ5, and wow is it nice. I haven't had to recharge it yet, and my old camera (not the TZ5) battery needed to be charged every other time I used it. Have taken mostly daylight photos, but also about 5 minutes worth of HD video. The camera uses auto-focus and I can hear it churning away while taking pictures but the battery bar has barely moved from full. Definitely a huge upgrade and it has to be equal to the OEM, which I haven't used yet.

Works great with my Lumix DMC-TZ5.

Order arrived quickly and the cost was a great savings over the OEM brand.

Actually performance is better than OEM (1300mAh vs 1000mAh). I recieved it and immediately went to Disney World for a 8 day vacation - a great trial period and it worked perfectly. I never pulled out the OEM battery, I only used this one (462 pictures and video later). I recommend it for anyone with the TZ5.

Just to be on the safe side I bought a third battery for my camera for vacation. Good thing I did. Videos kill the battery very fast. This battery let me take 250+ more pictures when my second battery gave out. Cold also affects batteries (lithium batteries are affected less, but they also are effected) and it was cold in the morning in Yellowstone, Wyoming.

I was very nervous about buying an aftermarket battery from a company I did not know, but I decided to give this a try because at the time, I couldn't find the Panasonic batteries in stock anywhere--even at Panasonic's site (?!).

I had no problems with it, and while I was too busy on vacation having fun to count how many photos it took vs. the original, I can say that it performed at least as well--each battery was able to last through a long day (morning to dinnertime) of running around taking pictures with the camera often in standby mode (vs. turning on and off). These were days of high use--in normal, occasional use, my batteries do not drain in a single day. Be aware that any battery will not last as long if the LCD is on for extended periods and/or you're using the flash a lot.

I wish it had come with a little storage case like the Panasonic one, but that's a pretty trivial gripe.

Bought these for our families TZ5s(2) because of the advertised extended mAh compared with the original Lumix batteries, 1300mAh as compared with 950mAh. We use

the movie app quite often and it is a drain on the battery. The price was certainly right, someone warned about the label not being on the same side as the original which probably helped me install it correctly...that and 50+ years as an electronics/computer tech. Anyhow they are working fine, the price is right and the seller guarantees they will work. Yeah, I'll buy them again. - Panasonic Tz3 Battery - Lumix - Tz5 - Battery'

Cordless Drill - 18v battery, battery packs

Product is acceptable and delivery was ok. A warning to Home Depot customers: Home Depot's batteries ARE NOT the original 1700mah bateries - they are downgraded to 1500mah, with the same pricing! Buy this battery at Amazon.com! Battery Nicd Single 18v 1500mah Ryobi - Ridgid 130255004

I bought a cordless drill that came with a flashlight and another tool using this style battery. I took very good care of the battery but it has not lasted as long as batteries of other cordless tools I have owned. I think they must sell the tool at a loss in order for you to keep having to buy batteries for it. It is strange that a replacement battery costs more than I originally paid for the cordless drill and its battery.

I got sold on the concept after getting a drill/flashlight kit - then went on to purchase a string trimmer, a hedge trimmer and a leaf blower. All items functioned well initially for the price paid, but none of the batteries would hold a charge after less than a year of light use and with very few charging cycles. It is a shame that Home Depot would put these products on the market with this major design defect. They have probably spent millions on the development and marketing the product line, so why would they not keep their customers happy with a battery upgrade or replacement program under warranty?

The decision was whether or not to by new screw-guns to get new batteries - which used to be about the same price as just the battery. We got the batteries for 1/3 the price we paid the last time -- 2006 --- we bought (4) this time - great pricing for OEM !! Fast & Free Shipping.... Couldn't do much better.

I purchased a pair of these batteries 3 weeks ago. I meant to write a review sooner, but I've been busy.

I chose the battery that was listed on this page because it said it was SKU 13025504, which is the 1700mAh version of that battery that came with my drill. When they arrived they were not in any official Ryobi packaging or (hard to open) clamshell. They were just wrapped in a bunch of bubble wrap. On the outside of the bubble wrap was a sticker that said 1700mah 13025504. However, after unwrapping them I saw that the model number on the bottom of the battery said 130255004, which is the 1500mAh version. Hmmmmm. I was a bit worried because I dont like that kind of switcheroo, however, the batteries charged in my charger without any problem and have run my drills and saws with fine power and staying-power.

I finally had time to write this review and found that the page had changed (though the reviews were the same as when I had made my purchase - so its kinda-sorta the same product page.) The SKU has changed to 13025504 and the description now says 1500mAh. The seller was D-lowllc when I made my purchase, now the seller is mowtownusa.

So, I guess the bottom line here is that the product I got wasnt as described, but works fine. If you purchase here there's no telling what exactly you will get or who you will get it from. Fortunately in the worst case scenario I think Amazon would take it back. Nonetheelss, if I had it to do over again I would have bought the 1500mAh from Amazon (or Home Depot or whomever,) rather than this indeterminate source.

Good: Looks Original, price is cheaper than retail. Not sure about performance and life time.

Not so good: Description and SKU number received were inconsistent than originally purchased. It was 1700mAh and a different SKU online, but change to 1500mAh to another SKU when received. not in retail box, no warranty card or instruction.

I bought this because it is 1500 mah instead of the regular home depot on which may

1200 or 1300 mah

However, there is no way I can confirm this one is better.

HomeDepot has it for $50 for 2 ($25 for one) which can be cheaper.

Based on model number and no indiction of 1500 mah,

I think this is the same one as HomeDepot Unless I open it up.

I bought a set of Ryobi tools, as household/garage/farm tools. The tools themselves are decent, no Makita or Panasonic for sure, but decent.

Big problem, these batteries are near worthless. Circular saw, one 24" cut and its toast. Drill? 10 holes max, impact driver, 6 holes max, and you are done with any useable power. Seems like all I do is change batteries, and I have 4 of them.

For: Construction/Framing use, worthles / Busy homeowner, somewhat adequate / housewife, here are your tools, just be prepared for a lot of charging.

Ryobi tools are decent, for the money, but if you can, by any means necessary, buy a real set of cordless tools, do it. Ryobi is just a stop gap, till you can replace them. - 18v Battery - Battery Pack - Cordless Drill - Battery Packs'

outdoor wireless speakers - wireless outdoor speaker, outdoor wireless speakers

We received this speaker set last week, and were so excited to use them! We had a small problem of the transmitter not sending a signal, but Mutant's customer support was quick to get back to us with a solution quickly, and we had the speakers up and running after that in no time.

The sound quality is great, and we can get nice even sound all over our smallish yard without having to crank the volume up all the way. It's also nice being able to leave the transmitter somewhere safe, and have the speakers placed around the yard as needed.

I wish that it didn't need as many batteries though.

Overall, I definitely recommend these! Mutant MIG-MS2-S Media Block Deluxe Weather-Resistant Wireless Outdoor Stereo Speaker System

I LOVED these speakers. Notice the past tense application. They have nifty folding carry handles built into the top of the speakers, excellent sound reproduction and worked flawlessly even when the signal had to penetrate through the ceiling of my basement. Operation is either on battery power or AC adaptors. Additionally, the soft blue accent lighting around the base of the speakers, which can be switched off or on, provides a nice ambiance for evening enjoyment.

On the third day of usage, one of the speakers died. It would function only when used with an AC adaptor in spite of the existing new batteries being replaced with another batch of new batteries.

Customer service was responsive and determined that I would need to return the defective speaker and they would send a replacement.

Then the hassle of packaging up the speaker, making yet another trip to the UPS Shipping store to return defective electronics and out another $20.00 for shipping expenses. - Outdoor Wireless Speakers - Wireless Outdoor Speaker'

All In One Printer - canon multifunction, canon

We ordered these as an alternative to the expensive manufacturer cartridges. We have installed them as the individual units run empty, and they all have worked great. There was no issues installing them, or having the printer recognize them as valid. No print issues either.

The only issue is this: When you're ready to open the foil on your cartridge, get a rag. There is an orange cap that you need to take off and almost all of those caps had ink underneath of them that dripped- not a lot, but if you have some nice clothes, you don't want to be opening these. 5pk NON-OEM CLI-221 PGI-220 compatible Ink Cartridge With CHIP - Canon - Canon Ink - All-in-one - Canon Multifunction'

Cordless Lawn Tools - 18 volt, black and decker

I have a B&D Grass Hog cordless trimmer which I like... One battery isn't enough to do my entire yard (it came with 2 batteries, but only 1 charger) so I figured I'd order a second charger - have both batteries charged before I started the yard, and I'd be in 'hog heaven'. So, I ordered this charger from Amazon.

Long story short: It simply doesn't work.

It will not fully charge either of the two batteries that came with the trimmer although the charger that came with the unit charges the batteries just fine. It makes no difference how long you leave the battery on this charger - it won't fully charge it. In fact (get this!) I can take a fully charged battery from the original charger, put it on this charger and within a couple hours it will deplete the charge to roughly 1/2 strength - it takes the charge OUT of a fully charged battery!

This will only charge the batteries to about 1/3 charge. Sorry, but this is junk.

I've tried to get my money back, but Amazon (which I'm usually pleased with) but they're obviously better at selling items than accepting returns, even defective items. They've refused a refund, although I've only had this 'doorstop' 3 weeks...

Wish I didn't have to give it any stars at all, but Amazon won't allow that, and they have no 'negative' start, so this gets a really undeserved 1 star - it really should be minus 3 stars.

I can't recommend which charger you buy - but don't get this one.

Hope this helps someone as I just wasted my money.

John

Saint Louis MO Black and Decker 18 Volt Battery Charger 5103069-12

Found the product use life about 2 seasons of cutting lawns and trimming. I have an array of B&D tools, have several chargers & half dozen batteries. Found that batteries & chargers last about the same and I find it difficult to determine if it's the charger or the battery that is bad. I guess I expected more from the B&D accessories as I find the power tools a great help in maintaining my home and lawn.

Like the other reviews here, these 2 chargers that came with my B&D tools malfunctioned at about the same time. Then I bought the fs2400dc charger that has an indicator light to tell you if it's charging, completed or faulty(battery, that is). I found out that one of my batteries was faulty. I can't be sure if the faulty battery was the cause of both chargers going out but the bottom line is they did go out after relatively short use which I find unacceptable whatever the reason.

This charger is not worth a hoot. I bought the Black & Decker 3 lawn tool combo. It came with a triple battery charger. After that I have bought a battery chain saw and a extended hedge trimmer. They came with this little rinky-dink battery charger. I have had one of them for about 2 years and the other for 3 years and they both went out at the same time. Black & Decker should give away the tools because the ICAD batteries don't last and they make a fortune of the price of the useless batteries. They should make the batteries NIMH type so you can charge thm at anytime and not have to wear down the battery. I get about 15 minutes out a battery charge when using my weed trimmer. I like the battery operated tools it's just the sorry batteries and battery chargers I don't like.

I suggest if you buy any battery operated product that you make sure it comes with NIMH batteries not NICAD. You can read about the difference between batteries on the internet.

I have four B & D chargers. Three are model 5103069-12 and one is a 2009 model T180859. The other three chargers are 2005,2006, and 2007 models. All four of these chargers quit working within the last few months. All of them are out of warranty so I didn't attempt to contact B & D about them.

The failures of these chargers made me curious as to what actually happened to cause them to stop working. I cut open the cases on two of the chargers and found that both had a failure of the same diode in each unit. The bad diodes are easily spotted because of a darkened area around them from heat build up. At Radio Shack I purchased two replacement diodes for about $1.04. I replaced the diodes in both chargers and they now work ok. I have only used each to charge one battery so don't know how long the repair will last. Perhaps the original diode didn't have enough capacity, but that's only a guess. When I cut open the two remaining chargers, I am confident that they also will have burned out diodes.

Needless to say, I am unhappy with the quality of B & D chargers. The charger cases can be resealed using epoxy such as JB Weld.

Don"t buy this!!! It is unreliable!!

I have only used this charger three times to charge the batteries that came with my grasshog weedeater. Now it has died and I have three batteries and a weedeater that I can't use because B&D puts out such a horrible charger with their tools. What a collossal waste of my money!

I thought it would be nice to be able to just throw a battery on my grasshog and trim the lawn whenever convenient but I have learned my lesson. Anyone need three 18 volt batteries for their trimmer?????

I have three and they worked for over a year; then all went bad at about the same time. I have three because I own Black & Decker circular saws, recip. saws, drills, a sander, a weed trimmer, etc., all using the 18 volt system.

Two of these OEM units failed within a couple weeks. One was about three years old; the other about four months. The newer was replaced under warranty with a different model that is supposed to be more reliable: ETPCA-180021U2.

This charger and a battery came with my trimmer. I have had the charger for about 18 months now and it has stopped working. My experience is consistent with the other reviewers regarding how short the life of this charger is. I just checked B&D's Web site and I don't see this charger listed. Hopefully that means they have stopped making it! - Cordless Lawn Tools - 18 Volt - Black And Decker - Charger'

Battery Charger - leaky, battery charger

I didn't expect much for the price, but what I got was way below expectations. I can charge the battery fully then put it in the camera and playback a movie and within 10 minutes the battery is dead. I have an original battery that is over ten years old that lasts almost as long. To be fair though I an using a cheapo charger I bought as well, so it is possible that it isn't charging the battery fully. I did notice this battery is much lighter than the original though which makes me wonder about it's innards. 6.00V,2100mAh,Ni-MH,Replacement Camcorder Battery

I bought this battery for an older VHS camcorder and it worked excellent the first 4 days until it started leaking and battery power went down. Don't buy these no brand batteries, buy a named brand one like Duracell or you will regret it.

After reading the reviews I was a bit hesitant, but the price is so much better than the name brand. So far (2 months) the battery has been fine, not the life you would get from a name brand, but it's also a lot less expensive. You get what you pay for here.

Not a very good battery, but it is cheap.

It seems to overheat on the stock charger, Ni-mh and Ni-cd have different charging requirements. The run time is real short, around 15 minutes with my old camera. Lastly, it goes dead by itself in a couple weeks and needs recharging. - Cheap - Piece Of Crap - Leaky - Battery Charger'

I have had this TV for only a few days, but it appears to be exactly what I wanted. The LK520 LG model is very similar to the earlier model LD520 (highly rated), except that the dynamic contrast is apparently a bit better for the LK520(150K to 1 vs 100K), but I suspect that may not be that significant.

INPUT-OUTPUT

It has sufficient inputs (HDMI, component, etc), and outputs, although I still wish these new HDTVs had a regular stereo output (ie., 2 RF outputs) so I could use them with my old amplifier. The LK520 only has 1 optical digital audio output. However, the sound from the LK520 speakers is surprisingly robust, although most will probably want more to complete the home theater experience. The LK520 also has a USB port, but I have not used this yet. The specs say you can connect your external USB devices for JPEG photos or MP3 files. (Note, this model does NOT have any internet connection capabilities--however you could hook this up to a BluRay DVD player that has this capability, if you want it).

I hooked up my cable box via an HDMI cord, and the LK520 provides a clear HD picture and does well with regular SD channels also. I hooked up the TV with component inputs from my oldish DVD player, and it looked very good. (Some day I will get a BluRay, so I can see more pores, I guess, on close ups...).

FEATURES

The LK520 has 120 Hz, so if you watch a lot of sports, this might be important (I don't). So maybe the 60 Hz LG LK450 might be OK for you, and save you 60-80$. However, note that the LK520 has a slightly higher dynamic contrast compared to the 60 Hz 42 inch LG LK450 (150K vs 100K).

The weight is only about 35 lbs, so it is relatively easy (if a bit awkward) to carry around. Also, the screen does not seem to have any serious reflection problems in stronger lighting situations.

The TV picture can be adjusted to your preferences, but I found the default settings good enough for me. It is Energy Star rated, which is good, but I found the "intelligent sensor" adjustments a bit too dark for me. However, you can adjust this as your wish.

SUMMARY: I don't think you can go wrong with this excellent LG HDTV. I would rate it at 4.5 stars. Some minor limitations on audio output and the somewhat high price that I paid at a big box store (BB) made me give it a 4 instead of 5.

I may update this if I find any problems later.... LG 47LK520 47-Inch 1080p LCD TV - Black

I previously bought an LG 42LD550, used it for a few months and was quite happy with its quality, but the 42" screen size was a little too small for my living room, so I decided to get a bigger TV instead. The LD550 has better features than the LK520 -- its internet application was one thing that attracted me, but it requires an adapter which doesn't come with the TV, so I never got to test it. I guess I don't need this feature anyway, so I returned it and bought the 47" LK520, at the same price --- it was on sale on Amazon for about 7 hundred.

The shipping:

This model came out in March 2011, and I placed the order in April. I guess because it is relatively new, so I had to wait 4-6 weeks for the product to be shipped.

So after waiting patiently for over one month, my TV finally came. I was expecting the guys from the shipping company to open the box and let me check the TV, just like what they did when I bought the other LG model. I was surprised when they told me they couldn't open the box, and that I should open it on my own, and keep the box for a year in case I need to return it. This sounds a little weird, but I signed the delivery sheet anyway.

The assembling:

It only took a few minutes to assemble this TV. My brother and I laid the panel on my sofa bed with the screen facing down, and secured the base/stand with a few screws. It looks like the stand was made of some cheap plastic. I hope it's more sturdy than it looks.

The look:

This TV has a simple, sophisticate design. I like the matt screen and the glossy black frame. There's a small blue light on the lower right corner when the TV is on. Althought the remote control is easy to use, the design looks boring and cheap, some buttons/features seem like a duplicate to me. But I guess it's not a big deal, as long as it works.

Sound quality:

There are several sound modes you can choose from. It was set to "standard" by default, and the volume was low, but it was much better once I switched it to "music" or "cimema". I also turned on the "surround sound" feature. Over all I am happy with the sound quality.

Picture quality:

I've had this TV for about two weeks now, at first I was impressed with the picture quality -- it's crisp and clear, and the color looks very nice, just like the LD550 model. I set the picture mode to "Cinema" --the "standard" mode is a bit too bright for my sensitive eyes. Of course you can create and save your own picture mode by adjusting the brightness, color, and contrast, etc. But one day I noticed the brightness on the TV screen changed suddenly --- it went darker, then after a while it went bright again (looks similar to when there are rolling clouds in the sky on a sunny day). I didn't turn on the "inteligent sensor" and I think the lighting in my room didn't change. I did not have this problem with the LD550 model. I am not sure if I got a defective item or what. Right now I give this TV a 4 star, and hoping there's an easy fix for the brightness problem. I'll test it for a few more days and decide whether I should call LG, or return it....

*** UPDATE: I found out the reason that my TV would suddenly go darker is because I had the "Engergy Saver" on (it was set to "Auto"). So whenever the sensor in the TV detects a change of lighting in the room, it'll adjust the screen brightness automatically. Sometimes the screen goes so dark I can hardly see. I am not sure how much energy it can save by doing this, but I find it annoying to me, so I turned the feature off, and the problem solved! I am glad I don't have to return this TV. I am happy with my purchase so far.'

Dust Mask - 3m, n95

3M 8210 N95 Particulate Disposable Respirator - the "N95" means that if the mask is properly fitted, it will filter out particles down to .3 microns 95 percent of the time. That's great for particulate matter but not sufficient against flu bugs - yet quite helpful.

The types of viruses that cause respiratory illnesses measure between .1 to .2 microns. That means that while this mask will probably stop most of the flu viruses from getting through, it is not dense enough to stop them all. That is why the product description mentions dust and particulate matter but makes no claim or mention of viruses.

Masks with a high enough efficiency rating to stop viruses are incredibly uncomfortable. I've never worn one but consider that the Center for Disease Control (CDC) advises health-care workers working with SARS patients to wear the N95 mask - same rating as this one. Even the CDC does not expect people to function at work wearing masks with super high efficiency ratings. Therefore I'm not getting a superior rated mask because they are immediately uncomfortable and I might not be able to function wearing one. Health-care workers will be wearing masks rated N95.

The N95 masks are also valued because viruses often travel on bigger molecules such as molecules that contain mucus. N95 will stop all of those.

I would suggest this box of 30 as a good emergency supply and perhaps a better deal:3M 8000 Particle Respirator N95, 30-Pack. 3M 8210Plus Particulate Respirator N95, 20-Pack

Respirators are great for use when getting up leaves or mowing the lawn. I use them regularly during fall for my lawn business. The straps are not durable for long-term use, but usually last as long as the mask stays breatheable. The straps need to be stretched evenly before the mask is first put on or it may seem too tight. One at a time stretch each strap a section of the strap at a time. Much better than the single strap nuisance respirators. Price was awesome on an open box. Wish I had ordered two of them. - Face Mask - Masks - 3m - N95'

Underwear - boxer briefs, boxers

I find these to be the best value. These are better than the Hugo Boss ones I bought from Zappos. They are 100% cotton, not excessively stretchy so they don't squeeze your thigh.

If someone finds something better in quality and value, I'd love to hear about it. Dockers Men's 3 Pack Boxer Brief,Black,Medium

Honestly, these are OK-- but I recently bought a 6-pack of "Puritan" (Wal-Mart's private label) boxer briefs for half the money of this 3-pack that fit better. The downside of those is that they're covered in crazy Zack Morris-ish 1980s designs. So the plain gray is nice, but the fit is only OK.

My husband really likes these Dockers boxer briefs. Matter of fact, it's the only kind he wears. Good quality, and they look good too! I used to buy them at JCPenney, but wasn't able to find them in the stores recently.

I was pretty cautious before buying this boxer. I searched tons of boxers and ordered a pack of dockers and hugo boss. Hugo boss was ok it was what i expected. XXL was just fit me. Then i ordered this one, but i didn't see it says Combed cotton. Well, i'm so glad that i learned this type of cotton. This is the far best comfortable boxer i have ever bought in my life. Even i had some concerns about if the xl fits me or not, it stretched according to my body and it is far far more comfortable then xxl hugo boss or any other boxers on market. I'm not related to company in anyways, and this is my first review after i bought something on net because i realized that this boxers actually makes me happy :) and deserves this comment.

Size chart was accurate and the fit is good. My only complaint if it's really a complaint is the material seems a bit on the light side. I'm thinking normal usage and washing will wear them down within a few years. Let's see if the waist band lasts that long. Otherwise I like this product and will buy again at the right price. - Dockers - Boxers - Comfortable - Boxer Briefs'

Organizer

This product is exactly what you would explect based on the picture and description. Nothing fancy, but it works. The tiers move freely and hold lots of paperclips. The center pole was slightly bent when it arrived, but with some gentle bending, it works fine. Rolodex Wire Mesh Three-Tier Swivel Tower (62533)

I was afraid when I purchased this that it might be wobbly, but it is sturdy and well balanced. Definitely high quality and it's working out for my desk space just perfectly, where vertical space is necessary due to limited desk space. You'll be pleased with this product!

This has been such a fun and useful piece to have on my desk. I use paperclips and two sizes of rubber bands EVERY DAY at work and this has kept them organized and saves space by going UP rather than OUT. :) The cups do swivel, so they are adjustable, and they hold quite a bit! Love it!

No mention of the brand name "Rolodex" anywhere on this device. Simply the brand name "Eldon" and the descriptive words: "Swivel Tower" (does it ever!). Upon picking it up, the buyer is apt to conclude that he's holding an unwieldy, rapidly disassembling gizmo in his hands--perhaps an antique kid's or pet's toy made a century ago. The mesh baskets swing wildly and without the least resistance on their tower, continually relocating any center of gravity and calling to mind some of the amusement rides of my childhood from half a century ago (remember the "Tilt-a-Whirl" and the "Whip"?).

But the proof is in the testing. Upon placing this curious device on my desk, I discovered that it's actually quite sturdy. Moreover, perhaps it's just as well that in the heat of a project the frantic desk-worker will have no trouble manipulating the various baskets--for paper clips, erasers, thumb tacks, address labels, etc.--not only quickly but single-handledly. (If I still had a couple of pet gerbils running freely about my apartment, I'd sprinkle a bit of rodent food in each of the baskets and wait for the fun to begin.)'

1999 Accord Pads - 2005 acura rl ceramic brake pad

It looks like these rear pads fit a variety of cars. I installed them on my 2004 V6 Accord, and they're fine. The cast metal portion that the pads are mounted to are a little wide, so it took some work to get a couple of them in but they do fit.

The rear factory pads on my Accord wore out in less than 30K miles, and that surprised me. At that time, I swapped out all of the brake pads on the car and I went with cermaics because they don't leave black dust on the alloy wheels. I purchased that first set of ceramics from a national automotive chain store, and I was happy enough with them. It turns out that that first set doesn't have a lifetime replacement warranty, so I'm trying out the Wagner version this time around. The impression I have from reviews on the Web are that Wagner pads are far better than the ceramics that I previously had on the car, and the Wagner pads are also less expensive through Amazon.

The Wagner pads have a nice finish and build quality. They don't come with the shims installed like the factory pads and the last set of ceramic pads that I bought. The Wagner pads are shrink-wrapped in a box with instructions about the use (or not) of shims; no shims and no adhesive are included. I applied shims to the back of the Wagner pads and popped them onto my car. Stops the car, no black dust, and completely silent (as expected). Happy enough! Wagner QC537 ThermoQuiet Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set

Amazon shipped the product very quickly, package arrived in great conditions.

These are for my 2007 Honda Accord rear disc brakes, replacing the original pads. So far very satisfied with these pads. Very quiet, no to no dust, leaving my alloy wheel shiny and clean. Stopping power is great, no fading, I even want to say its stopping power is a little bit better than the original Honda pads. Really like these ThermoQuiet QC series pads, would definitely use them for my other car as well.

Threw these on my 2006 Honda Accord. Fit perfect, very quiet and smooth. Did not come with shims or grease, instructions say to to use any. I still greased up the backs. So far so good, I'll post again in a month or two. - 2005 Acura Rl Ceramic Brake Pad'

Diamond Cutting Wheel - diamond cutting wheel, router bit sets

This bit is advertised to cut all sorts of metals including hardened steel. It is horrible. I tried cutting 18 gauge sheet metal and it did not work well at all. I then tried cutting .063 inch 6016 aluminum, again it did not cut well at all. It is a 1/8 inch shank bit like the other carbide metal cutting bits by Dremel so it won't fit in the dremel trio which would help make routing more stable but the trio uses 3/16 shanks and runs at slower speeds so it is not fast enough to use this bit even were one to make it fit (no accessory is made to do this) and the higher speed tools will not allow for stable cutting. It is shockingly horrible that they are unable to produce a bit that will cut aluminum well. I had to use one of the EZ406 cutting wheels which does do a decent job of cutting the same piece of aluminum and that is a decent product. It is not designed to cut the curves so it needs to be followed by a file or something to smooth the cut, but though meant to be a cutoff wheel it does a far better job as a router than this bit that is meant to do so. This bit may work with very thin metal but I have not had any success with cutting steel or aluminum at all yet so even that is only speculation.
