Wireless Accessories - app store, 3g

Well, I actually bought this phone from FGS Trading, I'm very very happy because it arrived in less time that I expected.

This phone is for my son he loves apple products and i saw it and touched it and I'm very glad with this seller cause it really is a factory unlocked iPhone there was no problem with the other companies and the box was with the factory plastic wrap.

I would really buy again with this seller I'm very happy.

PS: The best phone I've ever seen.

Congrats FGS Trading. iPhone 3Gs Black Unlocked

I got the phone and I went to activate it and nothing. Spent an hour on the phone with AT&T and then another hour at the store. Then spent 30 mins at the Apple store. THANK GOD it was still under warranty.

I've had this phone for more or less three months and I have to admit that the 3GS experience is immaculate. From the user interface to the app store with everything you could possibly ask for and much more- I am more than happy with my purchase. I personally like the 3GS model more than the 4G due to the build of the phone. I feel that the 3GS withstands more usage/physical damage than the 4G with is composed of a mostly glass surface.

The only reason why I'm giving this phone a 4/5 stars is because it tends to heat up excessively after 3-4hour video chat sessions on Skype. But nonetheless, this is still the best phone to ever exist!

amazoon for me is the easiest and also one of the safest way to buy stuffs online, you dont have to go through rigourous paypal account opening and all that stuff, am just curious cos i just cant wait to order next - App Store - Iphone - 3g - Unlocked'

Htc Thunderbolt

Disclaimer: Please excuse my tone if I seem agitated--it's just that I feel that Seidio is being very irresponsible (borderline reckless) by calling this battery "Extended Life".

I did a controlled and unbiased comparison between this battery and the stock HTC battery and I found conclusively that there is zero difference in longevity. Saying, as one reviewer has, that this battery will DOUBLE your battery life is positively absurd. In actuality, the stock battery actually outperformed the Seidio by about 2%. I encourage you to search Google for "htc 1400 seidio 1600" and you'll find a link to the Android Central forums where I posted my detailed results.

What are you going to believe? Some people's anecdotal observations, or someone's methodical testing? If you paid $50 for this battery, return it because you're getting placebo-ed pretty hard. Swallow your pride (just like I had to do) and get your money back. If you are considering buying this battery, either spend your money on a first-party battery, or buy 3 Chinese batteries for $15 on eBay--at least then you'll be getting what you pay for. Seidio Innocell 1600mAh Slim Extended-Life Battery for Use with HTC myTouch 4G and HTC ThunderBolt (Black)

Ive had this for over a week now. It does not last any longer then stock if anything it lasts less. Save your money and buy the fat extended battery. trust me stay away! I have to resell this on ebay now.

Quite honestly I'm not sure if this product lives up to its name. I've followed all the instructions on how to get the maximum use and it is still no better than the stock battery. This is after a full month of use. I will probably just break down and get the larger extended battery because this simply does not cut it.

I got the Thunderbolt a few weeks ago and the reviews so far are correct... in 4G, realllly fast data speeds and I'm fortunate to get 4G at my home. The reviews are also right related to battery life. If are just a moderate user of data during the day, and/or spend any time in a 4G area, you're going to need this battery. I wanted an extended life battery that didn't alter the size of the phone. This one does the trick. You can get even higher mAh batteries but they all will come with a larger back plate and your cases won't fit anymore. All I have to say about this battery is follow the directions. The first time you put it in, shut down the phone and charge it at least 8 hours the first time. So far so good.. I'm probably getting 4-5 hours more time now before the power meter even falls below 50%. I just a moderate user, texting and a few apps each day is all. Or else the phone sits on my desk at work pretty much most of the day. Love the phone. Until Verizon gets some kind of fix to the Tbolts battery issues, this battery is a must in my opinion.

I don't know about anybody else that is using this battery but I have been using it for about a week now and I can honestly say I am getting a full days use out of it and charging my Thunderbolt once a day. With stock battery I was charging 3 times a day. This is a must have if you do not want the bulky battery that is almost twice the milliamperes of stock battery. The first day using was a little bit better but subsequent days kept getting better. And take note I am constanly checking email and do a lot of web browsing and play games here and there and a lot of checking updates on Facebook , don't let me leave out that I check reviews on YouTube also. I repeat this is a must have for any HTC Thunderbolt user.

I originally was just looking for a second battery to carry around to cope with my thunderbolts not-so-good battery life, but, after following the instructions for charging, I noticed the difference after about a day. The directions say it will pick up peak performance after 5-6 charges, but I am already pretty happy with battery life. I abused my phone for a day (running games, flash, pandora, 4G, etc.) at 50% brightness, and I went far beyond where I would have normally just died with the original battery. That being said, I still carry my second battery for when night time comes around and I still am no where close to home. I consider this a new primary battery that will replace my original one with great results. I imagine once I root my phone I will see even better performance from this, but it's worth the money if you were already intending to buy a second battery.

I've been using this battery for about a week now. It does last longer than the OEM battery for the ThunderBolt. After 1 day of moderate phone usage, the original battery would be down to 32% or less. With this battery my day ends around 55%.

I do agree with other reviews about the "full charge status". After charging all night with the phone off, then turning on my phone in the morning the battery status indicator shows 92-94%. So far this remains the norm and I'm not sure why. If I have the time I top it off with the phone on. After that I'm down to about 75% after 5 hours. The max phone life I've gotten out of this battery is 1.5 days.

The instructions state that after 5-6 charging cycles battery life will improve. So far I have not experienced this. Maybe it will happen...

Neither this battery nor my phone heats up as others have stated. As a precaution against a dead battery, I do still charge my ThunderBolt every night even if my phone shows me >50% battery life remaining.

I would recommend purchasing this battery instead of an OEM extended battery - which adds bulk and size and then makes it difficult to place the phone in anything other than an open holster (I use a horizontal pouch).

If you are considering purchasing this battery, I would say "give it a try". If you want your phone to definately last all day, this is pretty much your only choice right now, not considering that OEM extended battery.

07APR11 Update - I've been using this battery for over a week now and I am ending the day with about 70% battery life! I didn't think the life would improve, but it has. Although when I charge it at night with the phone off, my battery meter shows 98-99% full. I plug the charger back in while the phone is off and then it charges to 100%. This battery is lasting about twice as long as the OEM battery that came with my ThunderBolt. I've increased the rating to 5 stars from 4. I definately recommend purchasing this battery!!'

Excellent Product - casual watch, victorinox swiss army

I'm more the utilitarian watch type. I like a simple, sturdy, easy-to-read, classic looking watch and this one definitely fits those criteria. I've tried three cheaper watches that look similar and each has held up for about a year before having a problem with either water, the face cracking, or the metal chipping.

I've only had this one for a month, but it seems much more solid than the other watches I've had trouble with. The price was also significantly cheaper on Amazon than any similar Swiss Army watches I could find elsewhere. One thing that I particularly appreciate is that it doesn't tick loudly as can be the case with some Timex Expedition watches. Also, this watch is a little larger than the other women's watches I have had, so it suits me, a small wristed fellow, quite well. Victorinox 241084 Stainless Swiss Army Youth Watch

This watch was exactly what I was looking for. Being over age 50 my eye sight up close is not what is used to be. I was looking for a watch I can see without pulling out the peepers. I can see it just fine and it is comfortable to wear. I can't see the date I wish is were larger. I am a casual dresser so the classic style of the watch works with anything I wear casual to dress.

I needed a watch that I could depend on, see, and durable. My last watch,(not swiss army, but a good one),thought would last forever, wrong! So, found this one first. The price was right, swiss-quartz, mineral. So, after looking at everything, I always came back to this one. So, purchaced it. When I first saw it, you could see the quality, and beauty. Bigger, and a little heavy, but after wearing it, I got used to it. The more I use it, the more I like it. This watch will never need replacing, unless I loose it.

For anyone expecting to receive a 42 mm watch, you might not receive it. The watch I received is tiny - measuring about 28 mm case size. Even after reporting to Amazon that this watch is nowhere near a 42 mm case size, the description of this product is still incorrect. What a waste of time and money.

I wanted a very simple easy to read watch ... and this one is perfect! My eyes are not the greatest so the large hands & numbers are great ... can even read the time in the movies where it's dark. The price was fantastic for such a fine watch.

I thought that ordering movies was awesome, but noway.... I love this watch its awesome, the seller described it exactly what it was. for someone who had a swiss army and lost it. I thought what a better way to order old style swiss army watches as oppose to the new modern ones that they sell in macy's or any other store that are so over priced its not even funny. This watch is simple gives me the time, it fits perfectly on my wrist. I honestly love amazon, and from now on I will be doing all my ordering from Amazon. :) thanks, I would highly recommend this watch, as far as the quality is the best. I am not so much in name brands but at times, its nice to have a brand name watch. - Victorinox Swiss Army - Watches - Casual Watch - Swiss Watch'

Kindle 3 Covers - kindle 3 covers, kindle 3 case

I've noticed that like myself customers have been concerned primarily with two things regarding the new lighted case from amazon. These are: 1)The weight and 2) The uneven lighting. My review will briefly discuss these two things.

1)The Weight - The lighted leather case is a nice weight, sturdy and comfortable to hold. In ounces it is about the weight of the kindle itself however don't let that concern you. With the case on it feels like a medium sized paperback, however it is far much more comfortable to hold. It's easy to hold the case open like a book (nice for couch and table type reading) or to fold the front back and close it with the bungee so that the bungee doesn't hang around (this is good for bedtime reading).Closing the front back with bungee keeps the case folded in position and you don't have to worry about it bothering you. BTW THIS CASE FOLDS BACK 100% - Very comfortable. In sum very comfortable to read with the case and very sturdy.

2) The uneven lighting - Amazon's pictures don't do this case justice. The light hits the ENTIRE screen. Yes if you look closely it's brighter in the top right corner then in the bottom left but Amazon's pics make it look the top is lighted while the bottom is dark. There is good light all over the screen. Trust me I'm fussy about these things - the lighting will not bother you, your entire screen will be lighted and it is extremely pleasant to read in the dark.

*Final Thoughts - Great case, good quality, works well, kindle feels very secure and protected (I would feel comfortable slipping this case into my backpack or suitcase and I think it would sustain some mild impact). Lastly hinges are a non-issue, casing of the kindle will not get damaged with normal or even slightly aggressive use. You could damage the kindle by trying to pull the back of the case but you'd have to really force it to cause any sort of damage to your kindle. The hinges work fine and should not be a concern to any case user.

Update 1st December 2010:

Have now been using the case for 3 months. Leather still looks impeccable. Some people expressed concern that the bungee cord might loosen with use. I have not experienced any loosening so far. Quality of the product has proven outstanding. I've occasionally spilled or messed the cover, just a wipe with a damp cloth has cleaned it up, and the case looks like new. Have to admit I enjoy the feel of the case in my hand, there's just something great about taking your kindle to a coffee shop in this case, it just looks and feels so classy. Also with regard to the hinges: I have had no scratches on my kindle or any other issues, so I remain convinced that the hinges are a non issue. Kindle Lighted Leather Cover, Steel Blue (Fits 6" Display, Latest Generation Kindle)

I was hesitant to buy this cover mostly due to the pictures in its listing, which seem to show a light that doesn't even extend to the opposite corner. The fact that I have not been impressed with the Amazon's Kindle covers in the past didn't help. I went ahead and purchased it because the cover I wanted isn't available yet and I don't like to take my Kindle out and about without a cover. Now I am glad that I went ahead and bought it.

PROS:

1. The light is much better than I thought it would be. Using it in a darkened room I found that the light did the job very well. In a pitch black room, it performs even better. While the screen corner opposite the light is a bit dimmer than other areas, there is no problem reading the page at all.

2. The light gets its power from the Kindle itself, through the gold-plated hinges which attach it to the cover, so batteries are a thing of the past. When your Kindle goes to sleep, the light will go out as well. It will also turn off when you slide it back into the case.

3. The cover is slim, well-fitted and very easy to attach and detach using the hinges. The inside has good padding. The leather outer surface has a nice pebbled texture with the exception of a smooth area along the edge of the front. While stiff enough to protect the reader, the cover is slight flexible and the front easily folds behind when reading so you can hold your Kindle with one hand if you like.

4. A great plus is that the cover has an elastic cord that fits into a groove on the front of it. This holds your cover closed (unlike the original Kindle 2 cover that would flop open in your purse & let things slide into it) and easily distinguishes the front from the back--important as many owners of the Kindle 2 cover accidentally opened it from the back, which could cause cracking along the Kindle's spine.

CONS:

I haven't found any, really. The light Is a bit hard (stiff) to pull out of the cover, but then you wouldn't want it to be flopping out when you don't want to use it so that is more of a Pro than a Con.

The one concern I do have is about pulling the light in and out--I wonder if whatever wiring or conductor that is used to get the power from the hinges to the light will eventually break. But that is something to find out down the road. Right now, the more I use this cover, the more I like it. - Kindle 3 Covers - Kindle Accessory - Kindle 3 Case - Kindle Covers'

Ipod Touch Accessories - ipod touch 4g, clear

the product is not perfectly cut but somehow i managed to install it perfectly. but when i was removing the sticker that says peel after installation, it sticks so hard that even how carefully i peeled it, it left some paper marks that ruined everything! sticky smudges! really frustrating! replacing asap! Luxmo Premium Clear Screen Protector for Apple iPod Touch 4G, 4th Generation, 4th Gen

I ordered this product and it arrived promptly. The packaging was fine. When it comes to product quality this was a very cheap product, literally. Don't buy it because of the price tag. It does not fit and creates many air bubbles, even when properly placed. Don't waste your money on this, buy a nice one.

I knew I would need a screen protector for my iPod, but I was worried that I would get bubbles under it when I applied it. This went on very nicely with no bubbles! The screen protector was much stiffer than I expected, making it much easier to apply. The is a hole for the front facing camera and the home button, but unlike the picture, there is no hole for the ambient light sensor. The screen protector is non-adhesive, but still very grippy on the backside. On the front, it feels no different from the actual screen of the iPod.

Everything else I have bought through Amazon, I have been extremely happy with. It all worked as described. But this screen protector is absolute Garbage.

First, the protector is supposed to be sticky so it can adhere to the screen. Its not.

Second, the little flaps that help with the attaching of the protector to the iTouch, are too sticky and in my attempt to peel them off, half came off and the other half was left behind. In attempt to clean it, I had to gently peel the residue back, however this caused a bend in the protector and automatically meant bubbles.

Third, in my best attempt to apply the protector without touching the "sticky" side, there already were small particles of dust on it, which when applied made the screen look as if it broke out with bubbles covering the entire screen.

This product, despite being a really good price, is not ideal nor is it worth buying. From one friend to another, invest a little more money, and DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE!

I got this for my son recently. It is well worth the $1+. After reading the bad reviews I was skeptical but decided to take a chance for such a low price. It arrived quickly, was well packaged and worked exactly as described. He had no trouble applying it, the cutouts were fine, no bubbles. For the price you can't go wrong. Don't let the bad reviews hold you back.

This seemed like a good buy because of the very low price. The photo makes it hard to distinguish from any other iPod Touch screen protector, however when this product arrived it had a sticker on the front that would not come off! Eventually I was able to remove it but it left a sticky residue behind!! What is the big idea? This is a touch-screen device protector, so having a sticker that leaves sticky crap behind renders this product completely useless... if you think you are saving money by buying this you are WRONG, you are just throwing it away... go buy something a little more expensive that will actually work instead!

Ok, I just bought the new version I pod Touch, and I bought this with it. It came pretty fast but when I got it out of the package it was horrible!! I tried to put it on about 100 times and it never worked. I couldn't get the air bubbles out of it! So, I finally put it where it belongs... in the trash

When you line up the hole over the start button the hole over the camera is slightly askew...not enough to affect use of the camera but I'm a stickler for details. It will protect your screen. Also, this product is slightly smaller than your 4g Itouch screen. Even with the case on I can see the edges of the screen protector. Getting it on there with zero bubbles is also a bit tricky. - Ipod Touch 4g - Clear - Screen Protector - Protector'

Uninterrupted Power Supplies - battery back up, ups

APC makes good UPS products, but I wouldn't buy this particular model. What isn't clear from the description is that this PARTICULAR model doesn't support connection to your computer via a USB cable like most of the other APC models so that you can monitor its status. Why do you need this feature you ask? I bought this to provide a graceful shutdown for my RAID NAS after the battery ran-out so that I didn't have to have a long startup every time the power went out. I had to return this when I realized it didn't have that feature. Buy the 450G or 550G ($69 on this site) instead which both support this. Apparently the older version of this model (350R) DID support it. They should make this clearer on this web site. APC Back-UPS ES, 6 outlet 350VA, 120V, without auto shutdown software UPS-BE350G

1. Amazon shipping was very fast (arrived the next day, PA-> NJ)

2. The 6 outlet is actually 3. That is, 3 with UPS, the other 3 is just

serge protection. My usage is for computer work station protection during

summer time's short power outage (like 2 seconds). So, the computer work

statation needs 1 UPS outlet. The computer monitor plugs into the

serge protection outlet so that not to overload the system. So far,

there have been about half a dozen short power outages and the unit is functional.

3. this unit, unlike my prior one, features a removable battery.

That may help in recycling, even though the stated purpose is

for easy battery replacement.

4. All lead acid batteries will eventually die. My prior unit lasted for

about 5 years. I don't know how long this one can last.

A severe storm came through and damaged the hard drive in our DVR as the electricity went off then on several times in the space of a minute. I called the manufacturer of the DVR and asked what I should do to prevent future storm damage, and was told that I should get a UPS which will act as a parachute to gently allow the DVR to shut down normally. A small unit was recommended, since only a few minutes of backup are needed to protect the DVR. The APC 350VA unit is well suited to this duty, and is reasonably priced.

Great product with one execption. A light tap on the flush-mounted power button is all it takes to turn this device off. That being said, my cat turned this device off several times. Initially, I thought the UPS was defective or I was experiencing some sort of overload. Fortunately, I caught my cat standing on the unit one day. If you have pets or children you may want to do what I did; place a small piece of rigid cardboard over the on/off switch and tape it in place to protect against curious fingers and paws. I have my DVR plugged into this power unit. My cat was a little less loved on days when my favorite TV shows didn't record.

I bought this unit because my neighborhood has noisy power and short power outages (only a few seconds to a few minutes long). I leave my computer (MacPro1,1) on all of the time with projects open that I am constantly working on, so I needed a back up unit. I have the computer and my monitor attached to the battery back up side. The first time we had an outage, the unit shut down, emitted a continuous tone, and no light was present (which is not in the troubleshooting section). This ended up happening several times, so I contacted customer support through email. After going back and forth with them a few times, they decided that the battery was bad (they had me hold down the power button with the unit turned off for 10 seconds and I saw red and green flashing LEDs). They sent me a new one and this one is doing the exact same thing. They are pieces of junk and I would suggest to buy a Panamax or Tripp-Lite unit. I have both of those as well and they work very well. Based on this experience, our work has decided to trash all APC units and buy Panamax units.

I'm using this APC UPS for only 1 device, my electric ignition tankless gas water heater. Since my water heater only ignites upon demand, the UPS does not provide a constant flow of backup power; for the most part it is in standby during power outages. Since "most" of us feel (or felt) the 2010/2011 winter storms, we had our share as well. We had a power outage for about 6hrs (yea, I know, fairly short) and we continued to have whole house (shower, bath, shaving) hot water throughout the outage. My guess is that unused, this UPS should standby for at least 12+hrs. Maybe more. For the price, it's good insurance for those outages on small stuff. Not recommended for larger wattage items.

This is the unit our IS guy recommends for our office computers. I have had one on my machine for over 5 years without problems. I bought this unit for home use to hookup to my TV, DVD, and especially DirecTV unit, so when the Florida thunderstorms hit and we have momentary power outages, I won't have to wait 5-10 minutes for my DirecTV receiver to boot up again. Works fine so far and provides an extra layer of surge protection for valuable electronic equipment. - Ups - Battery Backup - Battery Back Up - Apc Battery Backup'

Am Fm Radio - am-fm, am fm radio

This radio is impossibly small and has unexpectly good sound through the external speaker. I bought it only for external listening but I can say that the earphone is compatible with stereo headphones--that is to say that it plays monaural audio through both earphone channels.

The AM reception is superb. I don't know how they did it in such a small package; perhaps they used their experience with shortware receivers in this radio. Very sensitive FM reception but it has a touch too much resistance for fine tuning. On the other hand, the volume knob needs much more resistance because I found myself accidentally muting or blasting the audio. It also has a rather fragile FM antenna that does not swivel or sweep at all--you bend it, you break it.

At this size it's a good compromise. The FM is nothing to write home about but the AM reception is just incredible for such a tiny radio. Kaito KA200 Pocket AM/FM Radio, Black

I bought this for use while backpacking. I tested it's use along an Indiana trail (knobstone) which is known for it's many ridges and valleys. The radio worked well even in the deep valleys far from nearby towns. Its compact design, speaker, and stereo headphone jack were features I was attracted to and pleased with. I would recommend this product to a friend.

I was looking for a small pocket radio for pocket change. This is that radio. For the change I paid, I am happy it did not have any bells and whistles (it doesnt even come with an earphone, flimsy cover or crappy demo batteries). Every penny seems to have gone into the core components and it does an excellent job of catching am and fm waves and converting them to audio. Recommended if you are looking for a small, cheap, utilitarian am/fm radio.

The AM and FM reception is terrible. I purchased this radio to listen to local sports games when I'm outdoors and the stations fade in and out. These are local radio stations that normally have very strong signals in my area. The speaker quality is poor as expected from a small radio. Overall I am very disappointed in this product and will be returning it.

This is a nice little radio... It is very compact but puts out a lot of sound from its speaker. The tuning is a little quirky as well as the volume control but adjacent channel rejection is great and usually the problem I run into on inexpensive radios....This one is worth the money and maybe more...

The standard white earbuds that ship with an iPod aren't working for me with this radio. I tried other stereo headphones (Sony) and they worked fine (though not in stereo, of course). I don't understand what the difference might be. In both cases, when I plug the headphones into the radio's jack, the sound from the radio's loudspeaker cuts out as I'd expect, but with the apple earbuds there is no sound at all.

Excellent pocket analog ... If you're the type who likes to have a portable radio with you at all times, this one fits in your shirt pocket (3/12 x 2/18 x 3/4 in.) Reception is sensitive & highly directional. Volume is decent, sound quality is good. Keep in mind that this radio is of a particular genre - miniature AM/FM analog with built-in speaker.

This is in my opinion the most ideal radio for ultralight backpacking and hiking. I did much research before settling on this product and after using it on a recent outing I'm satisfied with my purchase. It uses AAA batteries like my other outdoor products i.e. headlamp, which simplifies having to bring separate size batteries and the unit also extremely small and light. The sound quality is excellent given the size, I'm very impressed with the reception and quality of the product overall. - Am Fm Radio - Radios - Portable Radio - Am-fm'

Subscribe And Save - pampers, pampers wipes

I love these wipes! They aren't too thick and the odor is nice and gently. Some of the other wipes had a strong odor, but this wipe is great. I also love that it came with another container! If I don't need it to replace the wipes, I use my extra containers for crayons, markers, match box cars, and legos!

Sadly I have to give this a bad review. To save money I have bought generic brands of baby wipe since my son was young and really had no problem with them. Here recently I was able to get these wipes while still being able to save money. I thought what a great deal, name brand wipes at a good price, perfect... I was wrong. When I got these I noticed yes they are supper dooper soft and quite a bit stretchy, both seemingly like good things when it comes to wipes, well that is incorrect. Being soft is nice for my babies tush yes however I have to push quite a bit harder to get off all those stuck on bits that we know all of our children end up with. They aren't as wet as the others either and both of these things make then actually more irritating to the baby in the long run. The other thing is they are supper stretchy which maybe sound like a good thing as well. Wrong again. This makes it harder to get all that "stuff" off his bottom because when I go to fold the wipe over and reuse it, it isn't as durable, it tends to want to stretch itself thin, and you then have a mess on your hands..literally! Basically I was just disappointed that they would be such a pain to work with. I guess in the long run maybe its a good thing though that the cheaper ones work better.. cause they are cheaper.

I used Huggies wipes for years because the were so nice and thick. When Ifinally tried Pampers, they looked so scrawney! However, they are very soft and seem to be very gentle on baby's bum. Pampers are expensive, so I often bought Target's version. But, Amazon gives a nice discount via subscribe and save so we now always purchase Pampers.

Review by mom of 8 (soon to be 9), daycare provider and Nurse.

I normally buy Huggies wipes, but I purchased these wipes because they were on sale. Unfortunately, my baby (who has never had any diaper rash issues before) was very red after using these. I would avoid these if your baby has even the slightest sensitive skin.

These wipes work well for my 2 year-old, but my 8 month old broke out in terrible diaper rash from them. He has sensitive skin, and I thought I'd try them because of the cost and the scent seemed like it might be ok. I thought wrong!!! Be VERY careful when you try these on a little one that has sensitive skin! His poor little bum got open sores and everything. This is a large box that would have to go to wiping hands in the car, etc., if you don't like them.

Bought it because of Amazon discounts but didn't like it for two reasons 1) Too wet, leaves a load of waterish wetness on baby's skin and 2) the material does not hold its shape and stretches out so badly in the processing of pulling from the box. But I'd admit this wipe is indeed very soft as it says on the product title. In the past we have used parents choice, huggies etc for our baby before and felt this time we didn't make the right choice (afterall, how much thinking on a wipe!!!)

These are, in my opinion, the best baby wipes you can get. Pampers' classic wipes are fantastic (their thick ones are AWFUL, though), we've been using them for years. Personally, the babyfresh scent is my favorite. Unscented are great too, but I really love these. Thank you, Pampers!

Like many others, I found a good deal on these here at Amazon, so I decided to give them a try. I am a fan of Target's Up and Up Unscented baby wipes. But, I thought since these were Pampers and they seemed to get amazing reviews, I'd give them a try. Sadly, they are awful! I like my wipes to be wet, but not soaking, and certainly not soapy. These wipes leave a terrible soapy feeling to your hands, and whatever they touch. It feels like I've washed my hands with liquid soap, but forgot to rinse.

The one container that came in my package is a bit chintzy. It's hard to open. Unless you press really hard and quick, the pop up action doesn't happen. When you're wiping a mess and only have one hand, it's no fun to not have the wipes open. They are somewhat smaller than I'm used to as well. The individual packages aren't self sealing either...which I knew upon ordering, but couple that with a lousy wipe container and I'm not too happy.

I will say the smell is pleasant. Even though I buy Unscented usually, it is nice to have a scented smell help to take away the stink down in the diaper area.

Overall, I definitely am not a fan and will not be buying these again. I'm sticking with Target Up and Up Wipes only!! - Pampers Wipes - Subscribe And Save - Wipes - Pampers'

Hair Growth - hair loss, viviscal

I had an issue a couple of years ago with a birth control pill; needless to say it caused a lot of medical issues! One of which was hair loss. I went off that pill and my body was slowly getting back to normal, but my hair didn't seem to be recovering. I don't have a lot of hair to begin with and it's fine, but viviscal helped the hair grow back AND my hair is much stronger. There is less in my brush too. My eyelashes and nails are also thicker! I love it and still use it. Viviscal Extra Strength Hair Nutrient Tablets, 60-Tablets

I took a gamble on this product...pretty skeptical, but anxious to try almost anything that would stop my hair from falling out. I think mine is genetic, and maybe a little bit of low thyroid induced, but whatever the cause, so much of my hair was falling out that I hated to take a shower and watch the loose hairs just coat my fingers as I shampooed.

In my case, I have been using the product for almost five months. I thought I saw a slight reduction in hair loss after about two or three months, but wasn't certain. At this point, I can honestly say that the hair loss has been sharply reduced--maybe one quarter of what it was initially. I am still taking two tablets a day, and will continue to do so for the recommended time. I haven't noticed my hair growing in any quicker, but stopping the hair loss was my number one concern.

After years of hair loss issues, I have finally found something that works! I have tried everything, particularly after having two children and going through hair loss situations after both births. I have only been taking this product for a month (along with Biotin supplements in the morning) and am noticing an incredible amount of growth. I was losing hair in clumps so that my scalp was clearly visible. All these little new hairs are growing in the patchy areas and I can now wear my hair naturally without worrying someone will notice anything was ever missing. I never thought I'd find a solution. I can honestly say I'm so glad I never have to worry about this problem again. I hope!

I have a blond hair, a bit over processed and fairly thin. So, when I read about this product on Vogue, I thought to give it a try. About 4 weeks after I started using it (I only take 1 pill a day rather than 2) I started noticing a fuller and thicker hair. Haven't noticed faster growth yet but def. more voluminous hair. However, I also started breaking out at the same time. Pimples popping out on my cheeks like in my teens. Not sure if it's an inconvenient side effect of this product or just a phase, more like a skin cleaning that pushes the impurities inside out. So, works for my hair, not so nice on my skin. Maybe someone who is not prone to pimples in the first place just gets the lustrous hair without any ugly side effects.

This product works very well.My hair is stronger and I have less breakage. This is my second box,you take two little pills aday.So one order is for one month.I buy alot of pills and things for my hair growth. This is worth the price for me.

Expensive but works. I have super fine, thin hair and I have noticed that my hair is growing faster and it feels fuller. I have noticed hair regrowth along the temples where my hair was extremely thin. I have been using Viviscal for 2 months now (2 tablets/day) and plan on continuing. Amazon has the best price for this product hands down!

I just bought these tabs about a month ago and I'm so pleasantly surprised that I have to write a review. First of all i'm 27 and my hair loss started when i was just a teen. It was progressively thinning on top and I was told to try bcps to "balance my hormones". I was on them for years and I continued to slowly thin until I stopped and got pregnant. After the birth, my hair fell out in handfulls!! 3 yrs later I now have about 1/3 of my hair left, and it is very fine, wispy, and totally different from before. I have tried EVERYTHING. Rogaine, BCPs, every supplement imaginable, iron, diet changes, protein shakes, hanging upside down (don't judge, i'm desperate! lol) nothing has worked. My latest experiment was progesterone cream which i started 3 months ago. Initially my hair loss got worse and frizzy and wiry. I decided to try viviscal and hello! my hair loss has finally slowed down. (and my nails look amazing! I can hardly type cuz they're so long) I went from finding 40+ hairs in the drain to 4 or 5. I'm sweeping up less hair and there is hardly any when I run my fingers through my hair. My biggest issue is hair GROWTH though because my scalp is highly visible. I haven't noticed any yet, but I will definitely come back if I do later on. The only thing that sucks is the price! But if it keeps working then i'll probably start selling all my worldly posessions online before I stop using it!

I've been using this product since June 2010 and found that it dramatically reduced the amount of hair that was aggressively falling out. My only regret was not learning about the existence of Viviscal earlier in my life. I can't say that the original volume has been restored but my hair looks much healthier. And the cessation of hair loss is more than I hoped for.

I have been taking Viviscal for just about a month now, so not long enough to be certain of the results, but I am seeing new hair growth along the hairline and baby fine hairs, but it is more than I had before. I recommend the use of generic minoxidal along with the pills for maximum results. I purchased a two month supply and plan to continue using it as there is so much positive feedback, and I did research before investing. Also, this was the best price I found at $29 for 30 days. Just do not take if you have an allergy to shellfish, as this is the basis of the all natural ingredients. - Hair Care - Hair Loss - Viviscal'

Playstation 3 - playstation 3, video games

Overall, this game adds a completely new and positive perspective to the Tomb Raider franchise. If you haven't necessarily liked the Tomb Raider series, at least give this game a shot. On the flip side if you love Tomb Raider, its a must have. The graphics and depth are visual eye candy with a mix of a comic book look for the prologue. This game has a pretty good story line (not amazing but not bad) and plays from a perspective exactly like Diablo. The game areas are rich with extras (if you can find them all) and the puzzles are quite solvable; note that when I refer to puzzles I am saying that solving the puzzles in this game is not like trying to figure out a crossword or Sudoku puzzle. They immerse you in the game and have a purpose. You don't have to do the really hard ones if you don't want to either. If you don't though you will miss out on bonuses; ammo upgrades, etc. There are also monsters that spawn just about everywhere (even the puzzle rooms), which only adds to the fantastic environments and game play. You have a variety of weapons and specials to equip throughout the game too. There are only a few things about the overall experience that I didn't necessarily enjoy.

First being the controls, if you don't prefer using the keyboard and mouse (or are not particularly savvy with them) use a controller. I learned that controlling Lara with the keyboard and mouse takes some getting use to.

Second, the voice acting for some of the characters seems kind of cheesy at times and turns the game away from being a serious mythological and adventurous isometric dungeon crawler to a bit of a child like atmosphere and can distract from the enjoyment of the game.

Third, its almost like you don't have to work to really ration ammunition (except your pistols which have infinite ammo...yeah I know right). I mean you do have ammo for SOME weapons but I feel that it is way too easy to replenish them.

Despite some real minor annoyances, this game is great I really enjoyed it and I recommend that people give it a shot. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light [Download]

The game is worth the $12 I spent, because it provided hours of entertainment. But....for those long time Tomb Raider fans, you might be let down. This game does not have the view or controls of previous Tomb Raider games. The two player format restrains the perspective to birds eye only, no moving axes camera views so the characters are small and distant. The feeling of being submersed in Laura's world was not there. The difficulty level stays mostly consistent throughout the game, but the end is nearly impossible. A final note, one must download the Steam application and be connected to the on-line mainframe to play the game. :-( - Tomb Raider - Playstation 3 - Underworld - Video Games'

Low-profile-plu - flat-plug, extension cords

The Coleman Cable 035188801 Flatplug 12-Feet Thin Profile Extension Cord, 3-Prong, White far exceeded my expectations. I was simply looking for a low-profile cord to use in the house, but I got an extra bonus.

I wanted to plug into an outlet behind my bookcases. The cord did that, but what I couldn't tell from the poorly written product explanation was that the plug is also slightly tilted to the left. If you look closely at the prongs in the second manufacturer's photo you will see that they don't line up with the cord itself. What does this mean?

The cord on low profile extension cords usually blocks the bottom socket, or you have to plug the extension cord into the bottom one in order to leave the top one free, but with this one, it doesn't matter whether you use this plug in the top or bottom, because the cord will not get in the way. This made a huge difference for me, because one of the sockets in my apartment is tied to the light switch in the wall, and the other one is a regular socket, so I needed that flexibility. Thanks Coleman, for putting that little bit of extra ingenuity into the product! Coleman Cable 35188801 Flat Plug Extension Cord with 3-Outlet Strip, 12-Foot

I ordered this product, a Flatplug, and a Slimline plug to see which I liked best. This was the thickest of all of them, at .61". The Flatplug was only .44" and has the wire handle to boot. The other end (the 3-outlet-end) is nearly identical on both - the Coleman (this one) being molded from hard rubber is heavier and felt more durable, and has the flexible protection where the cord joins the housing. It was also slightly more compact than the hard-plastic Flatplug counterpart.

Verdict: if you need the plug to be as thin as possible (which is kinda the point of these products), definitely go with the Flatplug. If you want to save a buck or need the extra length, go with the Coleman.

The best of both worlds would be the Flatplug plug and the Coleman outlets.

Three prong cable with angle plug - lays flat against the wall so you can push furniture right up against the wall. It only blocks one of the two plugs. It is white, but not stark white - more of an off-white.

I purchased three of these mainly because I like the arrangement of the outlets. Most Extension cords have two outlets on one side and one on the other. This makes for a very large wad of wires and plugs on both sides of the extension cord. These have all three outlets on one side. This makes for a much flatter arrangement with the ability to use a double sided tape and tape the outlets down making it easier to keep it in one place. Very well made product.

This extension cord works great for conference rooms where multiple people need to plug in laptops, or anywhere an extension is needed. The added benefit of a low profile plug for the wall is nice if you have to plug it in behind furniture, or just want a more streamlined look.

Great power strips!

I've frequently plugged in devices with higher outputs than what it lists as it's limit and works without fail including Electric Ceramic Heating Coil, Portable Battery Charging Station, Laptop AC Charger, and even a mini-fridge!

I'm not suggesting doing this at all, but it's capability to power such over-demanding devices obviously proves quality. - Low-profile-plu - Extension Cords - Extension Cord - Flat-plug'

Quality Product - power strip, outlet

For those of you lucky enough to avoid costly damage from lightning or voltage spikes, the clock is ticking. Eventually, your luck will run out unless you protect yourself with an APC.

Safe & Secure:

I've used APC products for years on all my computers and audio/video equipment. I feel safe & secure and don't worry whenever thunderstorms are present. I also have no worries about the wacko electrical wiring of this older house. I have never experienced any failures on any equipment or devices - except for my garage door opener.

Consider this:

You cannot always go around unplugging everything you care about when storms appear. Besides, this is only half the battle. You may not realize that typical household electrical current slowly deteriorates your electronics. A good example to prove this point: the lights dim when you power on a space heater. That is a power spike which is a jolt to anything plugged in nearby. Spikes damage circuit boards. Think of it as "little electrical jabs".

The Cost:

This APC unit is inexpensive yet includes guaranteed protection up to $75,000 - even against lightning!

Replacement cost of a circuit board for your new washing machine: around $300 plus labor

Replacement cost of a garage door opener: over $100 plus labor

Replacement cost of your new HDTV or your computer: ??? you know what you paid

The Product:

1. protects your phone line

2. protects your cable TV, Dish, or off-air antenna line

3. has 8 outlets, including 4 spaced for those huge block transformer plugs

4. includes a $75,000 equipment protection guarantee (must register the product)

5. protects against lightning strikes (most brands do not)

6. design is sleek and slim with a pivoting plug

Summary:

Okay, I may sound like a salesman for APC. I am not. Did I go overboard with my review? I don't think so. You see, I learned my lesson once - lost my garage door opener to lightning. The thought never occurred to me to protect my detached garage. With that lost money, I could have bought 6 surge protectors.

Make sure you register your APC to validate the excellent warranty.

All brands are NOT the same. Google "APC" and learn for yourself.

Be well,

Jeff APC 8 Outlet 2525J Surge Protector

I bought these for both of my TV's,to help protect them, from lighting storms here in Florida.I have two 800 series APC's for my computers, which I just upgraded a few years ago,and they have worked perfect, when the power goes out,my computers keep going,so it gives me time to shut them down.I trust APC,great product in my view.

As long as it works when it needs to, I'm all set. I like this model since my modem is now protected as well. My last cable modem was burned out during a lightening strike since my last surge protector didn't have the cable capability.

I work with computers and would never expose electronic equipment to power spikes. Equally important for today's expensive HDTVs and peripheral electronics.

Have always been comfortable with APC and Tripp-Lite. The best commendation anyone could award this type of product is 15-20 years of never losing equipment to electrical surges.

I recently needed to purchase a couple new ones and scoured the Amazon reviews for APC, Tripp-Lite, Belkin and a few others.

I have an APC I bought from Dell with a computer 4 years ago. It's large (12 outlets), has well spaced sockets for the adapters and I really like it and trust it. The thing that struck me about this APC was its near identical design.

EVERYTHING about its design had the user in mind. Obviously APC has their eye on ergonomics, not just function. My favorite features are:

1. Style and appearance. The gunmetal gray will go with any decor and colors. Nobody would call it "an outlet strip".

2. "Brick" friendliness. We old-timers used to call the multi-pound adapters of the past "bricks". Well, they're smaller now but don't like to be crowded. This surge suppressor has generous spacing for 4 adapters and then another 4 outlets for cords. The item has a relatively flat surface assuring that it would take an uncommonly heavy brick to have its prongs pull loose.

3. Broad Protection. This SP wants to protect your telephone and coaxial connections as well. My experience is that more damage is caused by telephone line surges than power utility surges. It's reassuring to have these other bases covered.

4. Socket-friendly Plug. I've seen cords that hog a 2 socket outlet. This SP was designed to minimize connection space by placing the connections in its plug at an angle to enable access to the 2nd outlet. The SP end of the cord also has a nice ergonomic 180 degree swivel to allow a more versatile placement, whether it's up on your desk, on the floor, on a shelf, etc., facilitating a more convenient attachment to the outlet.

The surge protection capacity is rated at 2500 joules which should protect again fairly severe spikes. Some low end protectors, including APC's, are rated at 320 joules to under 1000. Bigger should translate to better.

After I bought this my techno-phobic daughter bought 2 of these and one APC 12-outlet model. I have no idea why, but I don't understand women that well. I think she saw the merit of protecting her valuable computers, VCRs, DVRs, TVs and TiVos, or perhaps she was attracted to the gunmetal gray or the sleek design. I hope to find out during the upcoming months.

Corded Phone - corded phone, slimline

I bought this phone to use in my dorm. The steel/cement structure is a perfect insulator to many things, including cell signal. This phone was to replace my cell when I was in my room. When I opened the box, I was amazed at how small it was and impressed by how clear the sound was. Set up took less than 2 minutes.

I was surprised by one thing: the cord is not replaceable. There is no jack in the receiver, which means, if you break the jack, you would have to buy a new phone (or rejack the end with an rj-11 jack) but at around $7, I really don't worry.

Bottom line: great emergency phone, dorm phone, cheap phone. Would not hold up to a lot of use, but for a spare, it will do the job. Uniden Black Slimline Corded Phone (Slim1100BK)

This is an absolutely basic cordline phone. I bought it to have a phone available in my computer room. I plugged it into my Canon printer/fax, which is plugged into the wall. That way, I can pick up the phone if someone calls my landline while I'm in that room, and we have a corded phone in the house in case of a power failure. (For the benefit of you kids out there -- if you have old fashioned phone service, as opposed to digital phone, then a wireline, non-cordless phone will still work in a power failure).

This phone is slim and black, and looks fine. Frankly, I never notice it unless someone calls. There are a couple holes in the base, so you could probably hang it on a wall with two screws. Other than that is completely basic. It doesn't have caller id, and other features are bare bones - two ring settings, a redial button, and a flash button, but not much else.

Still, at the price, it's a great backup phone. Calls are clear, and it does everything I want, which is just to make and receive calls.

After reading some of the reviews here I was nervous that this model would be a little too 'no-frills' without a redial button. However, I own 4 other basic corded phones from GE and Panasonic and they all have a redial button- I think it's just a standard button as much as the numbers themselves. Sure enough this model DOES have a redial button, as well as a flash button. There's also the ringer and speaker volume slider switches right on the handset. The handset seems durable enough. It has a surprising heft to it so I'm sure it can withstand being dropped every now and then. There's not much to say about the call quality since it's a landline phone- it works, plain and simple. The base feels a bit flimsy though. It's very light and the plastic seems thin. I suppose it's not the important part of the phone anyways. There are some silicone feet on the base that keeps it from sliding around on your desk- a nice touch. As others have mentioned, the cord is directly hardwired into the handset, so if it goes you have to replace the entire phone. The cord is 66" from the base to the plug, and there's a built in cord retainer in the base in case you want to take up the slack. The footprint is only 2.5" x 8", very slim indeed. The only other thing is that the color is matte black and not glossy as pictured, but I don't care either way. Overall a well-constructed, very affordable, no-frills telephone that barely takes up any room on your desk.

this was a no brainer with amazon prime. the phone works. Sounds comes through fine and people hear me fine. I'd recommend as a garage or spare phone. I'm using it as my ONLY phone at home since we're so mobile oriented. it's really an emergency phone.

I bought this as a phone for testing my phone line, or when the power goes out. My phone often goes out, so I can take this outside to my box, and plug it in to make sure it's the phone company's problem and not mine. I wanted something simple and small, and this fit the bill perfectly. It was smaller than I expected, which is fine since it will be stored most of the time, but it has a nice sleek design that would complement any decor. It's basic, it has a coiled cord which is permanently affixed to the phone, which becomes straight at the base and is about 5 feet long from the base. Despite the small size of the phone, the buttons are large. They are rubberized buttons, not backlit. Has a redial, and flash button. Two settings for volume, low and high. And two different ringers or you can mute it. That's it, it's about as basic as it gets. At about 7 bucks it's a great deal. I've had my Uniden cordless phone for about 7 years now, and they just can't be beat in terms of quality. I only buy Uniden when it comes to home phones, and this phone is no exception.

I purchased this phone only for installing and troubleshooting telephone lines inside houses and buildings and it does a great job for that - solid construction, no power required. one thing to note is that the cords are part of the unit, they cannot be removed like most phones are. For troubleshooting I carry around a RJ11 coupler with this and I can attach it anywhere and test the phone line. - Corded Telephone - Corded Phone - Slimline - Cheap Phone'
