Cordless Stapler - paslode, cordless
This gun is one of the best items to come along.I have been doing siding for over 10 years ( by hand ) and in the winter time it is very hard to hold nails with gloves on or freeze with none on, one person can hang alot more siding for more profit in one day compared to by hand nailing plus no nail pouch required so less weight to carry around I love it. Nailing into tight places is a little more easy also.No breaking siding when hit with a hammer. Paslode 900078NT Cordless 3/4-to-2-Inch 16-Gauge Medium Crown Siding Stapler
I was a little reluctant to buy this fearing the technology might not be adequately developed. I was surprised, it is excellent in every way. It's also very light-weight. We use it for placing signs on wood surfaces with 1-3/4" long staples. It drives them the same depth every time with no variation.
If you're concerned about getting away from conventional compressor technology and going "cordless"--worry no more. This device delivers as promised in every way (include the expense of operation)--it's nominal.
I purchased this to attatch wire fencing to a wood frame and to fix up some field fencing as well. It works great, has never jammed and hasn't misfired once. Being cordless allows me to repair the field fence without electricity and without pounding fencing staples all day.
Paslode 90078NT 16-Guage Stapler 3/4-to-2-Inch --- this stapler is wonderful. I was leary of buying it online without first looking at one, but NOBODY carries them in stock in my area. I found the BEST PRICE on amazon and when I received it, I was straight to work. It works well and I can get so much done so much faster than using a hammer!!! I raise and breed quail and needed to build 3 flight pens for my incoming birds. I never would have gotten it done in time using an old-fashioned hammer. The quail of Storys Game Birds thank you!!!
This tool is extremely easy to use, completely portable, and has proven to be very reliable. No air compressor to lug around, no hoses to get in the way. It runs on "YELLOW" gas canisters, the gas being ignited with a rechargeable battery. - Cordless - Paslode'

Office Mac - os x, excel
I don't know what happened between the last version of Office (which I hate, but use) and this new version (which I also hate, and ended up deleting and going back to old version) -- it is completely unstable.
This is not new to MS Office for Mac -- earlier versions (2004 etc) also crashed regularly, without saving your data, causing heartache and loss of data. That was generally fixed with MSO:M 2008 -- but guess what, the problem is back in MSO:M 2011 --
Very unstable - frequent crashes, and ultimately I had to delete this completely from my mac and reinstall my older versions of MS Office.
Not ready for prime time (even though it looks nice once you open Word or Excel). I would avoid this for now until we hear if this is fixed in future updates. Office for Mac Home & Student 2011 - 1 Pack
Running Word 2011 on a Macbook Air, I watched a 400+ page document turn completely into asterisks. Every single character. *********** I tried to undo typing with no luck (sometimes a word would show up, sometimes a sentence, but always the asterisks and never my entire document). I tried to copy and paste into a new document so I could reformat. I tried to autorecover--the entire Word 2011 autorecovery file was empty, though I've been using the update since it came out. I tried to use the auto back-up file from my desktop (for some reason, it only had data saved from two months ago). I called customer support (1-800 Microsoft), was disconnected twice, and finally emailed the pasted file to a woman who told me that the file was corrupted, that she had never heard of this happening before, and then she proceeded to lecture me about saving. When I told her that I hit save every five or ten minutes, back up to ME (cloud) twice a day, and that the data lost went back about an hour, she said maybe I should burn a disk as often as I can. And then I killed her. (Okay, I didn't kill her, but when I told her to have a good day, I didn't mean it BECAUSE I KNEW IT WAS NIGHT TIME IN INDIA WHEN I CALLED)
I am not normally the type to write product reviews, but I really felt compelled to warn others about this problem. I am back to my old Word program now. I don't trust 2011 not to crap out on me. This is absolutely the most frustrating and annoying thing that Microsoft has ever done to me. And that is saying a lot.
I eagerly anticipated the release of the new MS Office for Mac, but so far I have found nothing worth cheering about at all. In fact, the PowerPoint presenter feature doesn't work right at all on my MacBook Pro, and two universities' projection systems. I have been forced to use the old 2008 version which still works on those same said projection systems.
The improvements over Office 2008 are incredible. The Visual Basic toolbox is back, allowing many more functions (for example, a proper equation editor- essential for engineers).
The interface is almost directly in line with 2010 (for Windows)- very nice.
Also, its very quick. The applications launch MUCH faster than 2008 and everything is much snappier.
I have been using 2011 for 2 months now- never going back to 2008.
I remember when live was beautiful, everything was easy and amazing and you can do many statistical analysis in Excel, need a ANOVA analysis, no problem my Excel can do it, a regression analysis, no problem I can do it, and histogram or a uniform distribution, don't worried I can do that too. This happy days happened a long time ago in 2004. Then Microsoft lunch Office 2008 without warning us about the elimination of the visual basic in the new Excel spreadsheet, so many of us buy it and suddenly find we can not use macros, solver and the analysis tool pack, in other words all the coolest things that make Excel spreadsheet better than Open Office or Numbers or whatever. Then we have no other choice to remove the 2008 and install 2004 again what a joke and a total disrespectful way to treated us. Then we wait a long three years to see the come back of the visual basic in Excel, many wait patiently and when finally Microsoft announce this magnificent event is the year 2011 and surprise, surprise this 2011 office DON'T HAVE THE ANALYSIS TOOL PACK!!!!!!!
Come on!!!!!!!!! What happen with you guys in MacBu unit, what are you thinking my God, is anyone there pay attention in what we want or we have to wait another 3 years to see now the come back of the Analysis Tool Pack, come on, are you kidding, is this a terrible and sickness joke? And don't tell me I can use the garbage piece of crap StatPlus:mac LE. I want a native Excel program that runs in Excel in the same workbook I been using, come on I so angry, we wait for 3 years and this is what we get!!!!!!!! What a way to screw your costumers, I want my money back!!!!!! Why you just can't do it right for once in your live?
My copy of Office for Mac 2011 installed just fine, but when I got to the Product Activation step, I saw that there was no product key sticker anywhere in the packaging. It wasn't as though it was a used copy and the sticker had been ripped off; it a brand new copy, and it was clear that no product key sticker had ever been put on. Microsoft's customer service was the first phone call I made, and they were no help at all, so I ended up contacting Amazon and they allowed me to return it. Based on all the customer reviews here, I won't be ordering a new copy. I suppose Microsoft's defective packaging saved me from what sounds like a terrible software edition. On the bright side, Amazon's customer service in this case was really wonderful--prompt, understanding, and fair.
-The Good: Nice visual interface, some new functionalities are good additions, great compatibility with PC-made Office files (the only selling point that forced me to buy it);
-The Bad: High price. Most people don't use 40% of all the functionalities yet they pay full price. If I did not need perfect compatibility with my PC-using colleagues, I would have gone with the Apple softwares, which are enough for me and cheaper.
-The Ugly: I have at least one crash every single day, losing data and/or wasting time cleaning up the "recovered files". It looks like it happens often when I am Copying & Pasting several times in a row.
Overall, is it worth $120+? Heck no. - Os X - Office Mac - Word - Excel'

I am very happy with my s5000 superwinch. I used it to drag a old car onto my trailer that hasn't moved since 1984. Using a snatch block, I dragged the car with 3 flat tires with only the front tires turning. The only problem I had was the cable wanted to roll up on one side. The long control cable made it easy to walk around and do what needed to be done because I loaded it by myself. Superwinch 1450200 S5000 Series Master Winch
Purchased this winch for my tilt trailer to pull non-operational vehicles up onto the trailer. This is a very nice setup. I made a quick release attachment so I could remove it from the trailer when not in use. I also purchased the remote and the battery cable hookup that attaches to my pickup battery. This was a great setup. Thank you
take away the fancy covers and you're left with a flimsey piece of junk that could be bought anywhere else for under $100 . I used mine less than 20 times to load a car onto a trailer and it simply pulled itself apart . threads in fairlead mounting bolt holes stripped out and flange on spool cracked and broke . structural integrity is shot so now gears are skipping .
After I first installed the winch it didn't operate under load. The trouble shooting guide pointed me to look for loose connections. After I checked all the connections I had made the unit still did not work. I then removed the cover and found that NONE of the internal connections had been tightened. After I tightened the connections the unit has operated without problem. - Winches'

This cartridge is working well for me, but you don't get a whole lot of printing out of it. I'm used to B/W laser printers where I change cartridges every several years! Here I think I'll need a new color every month and a new B/W every two month. I think the model 41 has larger capacity than the slightly cheaper model 31. I previously tried a third party refill for this type of cartridge. Not only did the colors come out wrong but it did not communicate properly to the computer that the ink cartridge was full. I guess I'll stick with the Canon originals. 5 stars except for VERY frustrating how limited the capacity is for the price. POSTSCRIPT FEB 2008: I WOULD CHANGE THIS REVIEW TO ONE STAR IF AMAZON WOULD LET ME. THE INK RUNS OUT SO FAST ITS BIZARRE. CANON MAKES SUCH GREAT CAMERAS, WHY CAN'T THEY MAKE A MORE EFFICIENT PRINTER? Canon CL-41 Color FINE Ink Cartridge
The price at Amazon was the best I could find at the time I was shopping for this product. I have decided that using anything other than genuine ink products made by the company that made the printer (no matter which brand) could contribute to my printers not lasting as long as I think they should! What I do like about Amazon shopping is no shipping and handling over $25 in purchases and no state tax and I do factor that in when doing my comparison shopping. What I also really like about Amazon is their fast shipping and good communication about the shipping!
I purchased this after I had a problem with other manufacturer's compatible inks, which color quality wasn't as great as original and ink spit on papers unevenly. I ended up buying original Canon inks, but it worth it.
I've been using this ink for over a year, I only buy OEM and from Amazon. I've never had any problem with delivery or quality of the product. I'm always satisfied with Amazon. The color is great, it dries quickly and doesn't smear. I get high quality photos every time. I do use Kodak Premium Photo paper, it does make a difference. Don't buy cheap photo paper.
Canon has made it almost impossible to use recycled ink cartridges. They are not alone. There should be an economical and environmentally friendly alternative to the monopoly on providing ink that is now held by the manufacturer. Just think if you buy a car and could only buy gas from the car manufacturer!
After being "ripped off" for years, finally decided to purchase another printer. The Canon ink cartridges are MUCH too expensive and they need to be replaced MUCH too often.
Now, I have a Epson and I no longer have that problem. Have the Epson Stylus NX215 All in One printer and although I've only had it a short time, I can already tell that I've solved the problem w/ Canon. Also, with the Epson, I can keep track of the ink use for each color.
I only got about 10 pages of print out of this cartridge. It unfortunately took me 3 weeks to get to those 10 pages, so upon complaint to Amazon, I was told nothing could be done. I am sticking with BLACK ONLY printing. It seems to work find and I am getting ample pages (at least 50 so far). I bought the black cartridge locally, I suggest you do the same.
I've been using the same printer with the same cartriges (not the same cartriges literaly, I mean, I run out and buy another... you know what I mean) for about 3 years now and never had a problem, hopefully it stays that way! - Pixma - Cl-41 - Printer Ink - Canon'

Native American - music, world music
Flute hasn't always been my favourite instrument, but in this particular sampler, it's taken on a different life. The songs are very soothing and earthy, rather than (as is the case sometimes) airy and floaty. I wanted something to play in the background while I try to get myself to sleep, that would bring me down from a long day, and relax me. This seems to fit the bill perfectly. Definitely give it a listen. Native American Flute Lullabies
If you've not heard the Native American flute played before.. you're in for a real treat! It's a lovely combination of nature and the most haunting flute you've ever experienced! Be one with ALL! Download this one QUICKLY!
I got this album because of the cat on the cover. I don't think the cat is really the one playing the flute but that would be nice. I have 2 cats that would probably get along with the cat on the cover. But I don't think my ferrets would get along with that cat. I like the flute and also found this soothing as many of the other reviewers said. I just bought it so I've only listened to one song so far but I am sure the others are good. I want to play this music for my cats to see if the flute in it has any special powers but I need to make sure my dogs aren't around because they hate flute music for some reason. They prefer the juice harp over flute.
I live in East Tennessee and travel through the Smokies to an Indian reservation. When I listen to this I see the trees and the mist rising early in the morning above the Great Smoky Mountains - and I feel the same spirit I feel when I'm there. Thank you, Amazon for this gift.
I have had this review screen up for at least 10min. The mp3's on this album are playing on the speakers of the computer and I just sat here staring at the wall. This is some pretty deep trance relaxation music. I cant believe its free. Another 10min of wall staring just happened. Just get the damn thing! :)
This is so soothing. It's like an out of body experience for your mind. When you play this you have to put helmets on the kids because their heads hit the pillow so hard! Definitely 2 thumbs up...crickets...and flutes!
This CD showed up on my front page as a recommendation from Amazon. I normally dismiss those suggestions, but this is the second time in a row they were right on the money. I played this CD the minute I got it and immediately felt the calming influences of the flutes and the birds... The only downside is now I want a massage!
I downloaded this sampler album from Amazon out of curiosity, and because I liked the picture of the cat on the cover. What I expected is to hear native American flute music without any accompanying instruments or sound effects. I like to hear any ethnic music in more or less its original form. Since this is a sampler, the album consists of different artists. Some pieces on the album are great and minimalistic, others not so much, which motivated me to give this only 4 out of 5 stars. A number of pieces contain the Spanish guitar. I like Spanish guitar, but not when it is mixed with native American music. Come on! How genuine is that?
Another gripe I have is almost every flute piece is modified to sound as if it playing at a concert hall, or in a big tunnel, you will always hear the amplified reflection effect of the instrument. I know that it was added using computer software and sometimes it is very appropriate, but with the wonderful music on this album I believe is severely overdone. Considering that there are forest sound effects added to the music, it is even less likely that you'd hear the distance amplification effect. If it were played inside a forest with leaves around, it would sound normal like if you're playing it inside a garage.
Despite what I have written above, don't miss out on this album. This is overall very nice. I think some people may find it good to calm down the nerves or meditate and just hard to find in general.
I recently purchased some CDs from Amazon, and this came as a recommendation. I listen to a sample of it, and it was an instant favorite of mine. I listen to it all the time now. It's very relaxing. It's not only good for at home, but also great for a car ride. It has a calming effect when stuck in traffic. This item deserves 5 stars as a rating. If this wasn't a free MP3 download, I would have purchased it immediately. Nice that Amazon sends me great recommendations. This was a true winner!! - Mp3 Download - Meditation - World Music - Music'

Case Fans - case fan, computer fans
It blows air.. it is quiet.. It is not as bright as the picture shows by any means. I uploaded a few pictures just to try & show you.. Not the greatest pictures but more realistic then the one Amazon has up there lol. Great for the price but if you want something brighter, look into another fan! Cooler Master Computer Case Cooling R4-L2R-20AC-GP
I bought 2 of these to replace the fans that came in my case. I am very happy with these so far. They are very quiet and move plenty of air.My case temp hit about 40c tops with the fans set at the lowest speed setting in the BIOS.I have 2 Radeon 4770 cards running in crossfire mode, as well as having my system overclocked.
Recently the 360 in our entertainment center over heated. The door was open but the building heat in the area was enough to shut down the system with 2 red rings. I bought this and wired it to an old router power converter. That is plugged into my reciever and when you turn it on the fan comes up. The fan is screwed to the back of the entertainment center that I cut a hole in. This one fan is more than enough to cool the receiver, 360, wii, ps3, and cable box. Not that all of them are running at once but it works great. It even gives a blue glow from behind everything that looks better than I thought it would. This fan isn't as bright as most with clear holders surrounding the blades. Great fan over all. Runs very quiet and moves a ton of air.
When you buy a cooler master product you know you can't go wrong. I bought one of the 120mm green led fans plus one with red leds and another one with blue leds. They work like a charm. Quiet and reliable. I'm very happy with them and I'd recommend them to anyone.
I was kind of skeptical at first but after the first week of installing this fan in my case I love it. It keeps my system temp at no higher than 84 degrees. Would recommend for anybody that needs better system cooling fan.
Amazon originally showed this fan having dimensions of 120 x 25 x 120 inches. Clearly a computer case fan is NOT going to be 10 feet wide, 10 feet high, and 2 feet deep. Being a conscientious sort of person, I clicked the 'update product info' link and submitted a correction that the dimensions should be in mm (millimeters), not inches. I even provided a link to the CoolerMaster (manufacturer) website product page to confirm what should be blindingly obvious.. so what happens? I get an email a day later telling me Amazon cannot make the correction as they can't verify it, or I am incorrect. Unbelievable.
I resubmitted the correction, along with a few choice words. This time they change it, but instead of changing the product dimensions from 120x120x25 inches to 120x120x25 mm as it should be, they actually calculate the conversion from mm to inches, and currently the product dimensions show as 4.7 x 1 x 4.7 inches, a sizing that nobody who purchases case fans will recognize, as case fans are always classed in terms of mm, not inches.
Seriously, you can't make this stuff up. Amazon, you have really outdone yourself; you get the gold medal for sheer stupidity. Good luck trying to make many sales on this product as it stands! I have submitted a correction once again - maybe Amazon can get it right the 3rd time, but based on what they've done so far, I wont hold my breath.
Here's the manufacturers product sheet if anyone wants to see the real product specs:
http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/upload/download/155/files/ProductSheet_R4-L2R-20CG-GP.pdf
Its a 90 CFM, 2000RPM, 120x120x25mm case fan, with relatively silent 19dBA noise level and sleeve bearing type.
Despite it being listed as a CPU cooler fan, it is not pulse width modulated (PWM), so if plugged directly into the motherboard it would run constantly at the full 2000RPM, not variable speeds depending on CPU temp. If you run it through a separate manual fan controller device it would work fine though.
This certainly makes an ideal case fan imho (I have a couple of them in my case) - it has a higher airflow than the standard CoolerMaster 120mm fans, which usually run around 69CFM or less depending on the model. It's a good product, shame Amazon seem to have such an issue getting the specs right. 5 stars.
I didn't think I was going to get much quality for $10, but I was pleasantly surprised. This fan does provide a nice amount of air and is very quiet. I used these after using some Antec Tri Cool fans and the fan is a lot dimmer in light output which I find as a plus. You can still see the light but it won't light up a room at night. It does not have a speed switch like my previous Antec, but since it's so quiet it's not really an issue.
This fan looks cool and works well but it has such an annoyingly high pitched sound that my ears hurt and I get headaches just turning on my computer; I am thinking of taking these out of my computer or something just to rid of the annoying sound!
These fans are by far the quietest that I have tried. I have five different makes of similar type fans and none are as quiet as these. They still move a surprising amount of air and I have installed six of them in two computers now. Mine have run for about a month at this time.
One thing I've noticed, and this is true of my other make fans to a lesser degree, is that placing the inlet side of the fan against a grille will cause a whine---they must be spaced a little away to avoid this. A grille on the outlet side doesn't have this effect. - Computer Fans - Cooling - Cooler Master - Case Fan'

Wine Cooler - avanti, wine refrigerator
I bought this cooler to go under a walk up counter being added to our basement. Before buying I searched for reviews here as well as on the web, but didn't find anything stating bad experiences or poor quality issues with this model. The cooler arrived without issue so I thought things were good. We held off on finalizing our cabinet order until the cooler arrived to make sure everything allowed for the recommended spacing(rear, sides & top) necessary to avoid overheating/burn out issues. After a 1 day test to make sure everything worked, the unit sat in the box for nearly 60-days while the cabinets and countertop were built and placed. Once everything was complete, we set the cooler in its spot and started to enjoy our newly finished basement. It wasn't more than 30-days of use before the temp rose from 42 to 57 degrees and wouldn't cool any lower.
I called Compact Appliance to address my problem and was told that my purchase date was more than 90-days ago so only parts are covered by warranty. If I wanted to, I could pay $75.00 up front to cover their minimum labor costs, I must pay the shipping costs back to C.A for repairs and I would not be given the address for return shipping until I paid them the minimum labor fee. Given I was charged $90.00 for delivery initially, I figure we are looking at $165.00 to maybe fix a manufacturer defect with the same OEM part(s) that failed after only 30-days of operation.
If i had it to do over again, I would have avoided this product and bought a slightly higher priced Danby, Avanti, or GE Profile and probably would have come out ahead. At least these other brands have local service/repair support.
Don't make the mistake I made.... Stay away from this unit, or look on Craigslist for mine if you only need a 57 degree cooler. New EdgeStar 94 Soda Can Built In Beverage Cooler Refrigerator
Nice looking unit. Looks great. Stopped cooling 3 days out of the box. Called the maker and they were very prompt in replacing the unit. The new one unit works great so far. Did not like the hassle but was impressed with with the way they handled it.
It's a perfect fit for the trash compactor that we never used and looks great. This would work better for wine or anything you don't want ice cold, the lowest setting is 39 degrees which sounds quite cold but... not really. It's not as quiet as I had hoped. That said the price is great, looks great and fills the spot with a little more frig space that I can always use.
Overall, I am happy with this product, especially for the price. However, it was very difficult to attach the handle due to unclear directions and zero diagrams. Also, the shelves do not fit exactly as described in the manual, but are still functional. Lastly, I am not able to fit all 94 cans into the unit, but enough that I am still able to keep my bar comfortably stocked. I would buy again, but if you need exactly 94 cans, this may not hold them all. - Wine Refrigerator - Avanti - Danby - Wine Cooler'

It looked as if it was white plastic spray painted purple. I liked the smoothness of the item on the outside. Though I wondered where the rubberized part came in. Felt like plastic to me. The day after it arrived, I had to open the phone to get into the battery area, and when I tried to remove the cover, the front panel split in half. Very thin. I wanted thin, but I wanted stronger! I have a thicker clear plastic only case which I had first, but wanted the rubber factor. Well, now I have wasted my money on this (not worth returning it) and I am back to using the first case I got when I purchased the phone. At least when I remove that case, it does not break. LG VS660 Vortex Rubberized Shield Hard Case - Purple
I don't usually use cases for my cell phones, but when I got the LG Vortex, a touchscreen, I knew I'd better get one if I wanted the phone to last. I'm something of a klutz! This case is attractive and sturdy. Its a hard case with a rubber-feel to it. It's kind of hard to remove, but that means it won't fall off either.
Bought this for my daughter because she wanted a purple case. Doesnt fit her phone as it useless. Didnt spend much so I really dont care, but its mildly irritating that she cant even use it as a back up. Dont buy this one!
This case looks and feels nice, but it just didn't quite fit my Vortex. Most of the edges snapped together and are actually hard to pull apart, which would probably keep it from falling off when the phone is dropped. However, the bottom third would not snap together. As the other reviewer experienced, when I tried to pull it off the front panel snapped in half. - Car Chargers - Car Charger - Screen Protectors - Lg'

My dog is a Dutch shepherd and he does alot of barking in the house which is his job,but not always what i want to hear - having my dog wear this connected to his collar allows me to correct him when he is barking at the wrong things - a leash is a direct line for communication between a dog and its handler - this works - also if he gets the urge to jump my fence and take tour of the neighborhood, this allows me to grab hold of him to get control - I attatched a metal ring to the handle to allow another longer leash to be easily attatched for those situations. Usb Wireless - 80211n, wireless adapter
I've been working to get the AE1000 (Windows 7-64) consistently connected to my E3000 router on N on 40Hz for over two weeks now. This is what I have learned:
1) If you are running Zone Alarm firewall software you need to uninstall it, not disable it, prior to running the AE1000 setup. If you do not the setup will indicate you are running wireless management software that is not compatible. You can reinstall Zone Alarm software after the AE1000 is setup.
2) All important wireless features work, including WAP2, MAC address control, and QOS.
3) I was able to get 250+ Mbs from one end of my house to the other with signal strength in the 50% to 70% range even through two walls and 50 feet away.
4) All the above dies after anywhere between 8 and 30 minutes, especially if there is significant throughput, like streaming music or video. The blue light on the AE1000 glows a steady blue and there is no connection to the router.
5) A reboot and reconnect works for a few minutes and then the connection to the AE1000 is dropped again.
6) Updating to the latest firmware for the AE1000 did not change things.
Other wireless N devices I have connect to the E3000 on N on 40Hz with no problems and maintain stable connections for days with not problem. I'm going to try the AE1000 on an XP Pro laptop to see if it is only a Windows 7 64 problem and will update this review at a later date.
Cisco-Linksys High-Performance Wireless-N AdapterTried using the AE1000 with an XP Pro laptop on 2.4Ghz G with no success. I've returned the AE1000 to Amazon for a replacement and hope it was a defective device.
I received a new AE1000 in one day from Amazon. This is the first time I've had to return a product I purchased from Amazon. I was very easy to get a replacement. This is my experience with the new AE1000:
1) The drivers were already installed and updated from the prior installation and Zone Alarm already "knew" about the device. I plugged it in to a 3 foot USB extension cable and it was immediately recognized.
2) I had MAC address control turned off and SSID Broadcast turned on. I made a wireless connection to my 5 Ghz network with WPA2 without a problem. Speed was 271 Mbps.
3) I turned on MAC address control after adding the MAC address for the AE1000 and the connection remained solid.
4) I have been showing 50% to 70% signal strength over a distance of about 125 feet and through two walls and one floor with a consistent 271 Mbps connection speed.
5) It's been up and running without a problem for 24 hours now.
Remaining things to check:
1) Does the connection survive a reboot without having to specifically reconnect to the network.
2) Can the connection be maintained with SSID turned off.
At this point I am changing by rating to 3 stars and will rate it higher if it continues to function well.
Update:
I have been able to establish a stable connection at 271 Mbps for 48 hours using WPA2, MAC Address Control and SSID broadcast off. It appears that the device I was initially using was defective. Amazon sent me a replacement device that appears to work with no problems. Cisco-Linksys AE1000 High-Performance Wireless-N Adapter
The verdict is still out on this puppy. I haven't been able to get it installed and running. My problems are similar to those described in other reviews: Conflicts with other software controlling network and incompatability with my anti-virus program. I can't believe that Cisco hasn't thought about these very, very common situations and developed a fix. Like others, I have been told to uninstall my anti-virus program. I may do that, but am in no hurry. Customer support also seemed to struggle with installing the device under Windows 7. HELLO CISCO!!!!: Windows 7 ships on just about everything these days. Perhaps I will come back in a few weeks and sing the praises of this device, and the Cisco Router I purchased at the same time, but we will have to see. Beware.
I have been using this adapter for a couple of weeks now and it is doing a pretty good job considering the distance I am from the router. Living in the boonies, I have a rinky dink WiFi ISP with only a 1.5Mbs system. My computer is set up in another building about 100 feet from the house. The antenna adapter is outside the building and is connected via a 10 foot extension running through the wall to the computer inside. As you can see, this is not the most desirable setup. So I am asking a lot out of this adapter. My router, in the house, is a Linksys E3000 and is running two computers in there. I usually run the computer in the outbuilding on the 5GHz side and those in the house on the 2.4GHz. Actually, it's just the opposite of the way it should be run. But it works for me. Today I watched a 3 hour Internet movie on the computer in the out building with no drop-outs.
The one problem I have had with this I've also had with my other Linksys adapters, constant drop-outs. Aggravating drop-outs that produce that little white circle going round and round and round. After doing a whole lot of research on the net I did not find anything except a bunch of people putting down the Linksys products. Then I saw one article where a guy said that Linksys (Cisco) has been around for a long time and if they made inferior products they would not still be in business. That made a lot of sense. So, if the router is good and the adapter is good why the problems?
I started searching for the problem. I went to the Device Manager to see what I could find. First place I look is Network Adapters. It lists the AE1000 but also a Microsoft Wireless Router Module. Without getting any good answers searching the net I decided to Disable this. Kazaam! No more drop-outs. So I Enabled it again and the drop-outs were back. I Disabled it again and left it that way. I told a friend about it and he tried it but said it had no affect on his system. But his system is 10 times the Bandwidth I have and he's not had drop-outs to begin with. So I have been running now for over a week with a pretty good signal.
Today I am ordering two more AE1000s for those computers in the house. Oh, and one more thing. If you have an N type router and a G type Laptop put one of these on the Laptop and convert it to an N. You'll be amazed at the difference in speed. - Dual-band - Wireless Adapter - 80211n - Linksys'

Framing Nails
I am not one to put down any one or any company but why would I look at this product twice when I can get the same size Plain Shank Full Head Framing Nail in a 4000 pack at Lowes for $30.00. That's over 3000 extra nails for the same price. It will be interesting to see if this review shows up. I have used this brand and see no difference then other brands for less money such as Grip Rite. I have looked at the (review guidelines) I do not own stock in any home building supply company but I would like to see my fellow tool users get the most value for there money. Price, quantity and quality go hand and hand with any product. My name is Scott I am a tool addict. Thanks for letting me share.
ADDED 5-4-2011.. Good nails but shop for the better price. DON'T BOTHER WITH HOME D. CHECK LOWES EVERYDAY PRICES B & C Eagle A312X131/22 Round Head 3-1/2-Inch by .131-Inch by 20 to 22 Degree Plastic Collated Framing Nail (500 per Box)
If you have a Porter Cable FR350, for some reason finding nails can be a slight problem. The mega home store with the orange sign has them, but not consistently. So these are a good stop-gap until you can find more. They drive well and seem to hold well.
If you are looking for the highest quality nails for your nails gun then you better get these. I have used these forever and they have performed to the highest extent the whole time. They have never jammed or messed up my guns. These are top of the line
These may be great nails, but they'll probably jam and misfire with the Porter Cable FR530 nail gun. The FR530 needs plastic-collated nails, not paper-collated like these are. I made the mistake of buying a ... case of paper-collated nails, only to have non-stop problems with them. Only on the Porter Cable website does it mention that the gun uses plastic-collated.
I used these nails in a Porter Cable round head framing nailer. They worked very well and I have not had a single misfire or jam. I can only speak from experience for the Porter Cable nailer, but highly recommend them for this particular nailer.
I would like to see a better match for the gun, and larger quantities at local store prices. The nails have yet to jam; however, the gun stops ALWAYS with about 3 to 5 nails left in gun and I just need to keep adding some more to keep gun going.
These are 16d nails that measure 3.5" ... I used these nails to frame 2x6 walls and to frame the rafters on a 20x 16 garage... these nails never jammed or misfired... have recently ordered more of these nails..'

I bought this suit to assist my in losing weight because cellulite and fat have water in them. It worked! I wear it while I clean house, about one hour a day and have lost 5 pounds in the first week. If you don't like to workout this is perfect for the normal busy life that most women have these days. Just make sure that you drink plenty of water and get plenty of potassium. TITLE Pro Hooded Sauna Suit, Black, X-Large
I like this sauna suit, it's well made, fits nice, and looks pretty cool. I don't like those cheap PVC sauna suits, and how you look in them when you're working out. Which shouldn't matter because that's not the purpose of the suit, but it's nice to feel good about how you look to help you train.
I bought a cheaper sauna suit and the pants ripped right a way. The title boxing sauna suit is very well made, fits better, high quality, made to last. Defenitely worth paying more for. It is very satisfying when you get a product of this quality. Very happy!
I love my sauna suit!!! It's the best. It's a heavy suit, can't rip it, you can machine wash it and it WORKS!! If you want to lose weight and are looking into purchasing a sauna suit, you MUST get this one. - Fitness'
