Cordless Impact Driver
Just returned a IR W360-KL2. This impact wrench lacks torque for a tool of its bulky size, weight and price. Tested it on lug nuts. Anything torqued 150 ft/lbs or higher & it struggles to break them loose. Must get out a breaker bar. Defeats the entire purpose of an impact tool. There are far better and less expensive offerings from Dewalt and Milwaukee among others. Unless you want an overpriced child's toy, I would keep looking. Universal Charger - usb, universal charger
After reading so many complaints from people receiving non-OEM chargers I was a little hesitant to order this product. If I was only going to receive some cheap after market piece of junk I might as well head on over to eBay and buy a .01 charger there. When I went to add the product to the cart I realized that the default seller is not Amazon, but if you look at the other options Amazon does indeed sell this charger for about .35 more than the low bidder. I doubted that Amazon was going to send me the wrong thing so I went ahead and changed my order to pay .35 more for the Amazon one. Well, it just arrived (11am Saturday morning via UPS ordered Friday with Amazon Prime. Holy smokes what service!!) and it is indeed the Verizon Charger. It still has the $29.99 verizon store price tag on it! So long story short, buy it from Amazon and you will get the real deal. I feel badly for the honest 3rd party sellers that suffer from the misdeeds of the unscrupulous but this is one of those items that you just need to go with Amazon to insure you get what you are paying for. Verizon Vehicle Charger with USB Port
The picture on the Amazon sales page clearly shows the "VERIZON" logo and "VERIZON" branded package. The item as delivered has no logo or branding and was packaged in a clear plastic bag. I already had unbranded aftermarket chargers that would charge the phone so I feel cheated.
The picture on on the website shows the charger with a verizon logo, but i received one without a logo and the little plastic piece came unglued. Ships in a little plastic bag not in retail packaging. Hey you get what you pay for, just don't expect a charger with a verizon logo.
I normally don't write reviews, but this product got me irritated. Contrary to what the box says, it cannot charge 2 phones at the same time. The corded micro USB charged the battery just fine on my Droid Pro and my wife's Droid X, but when I tried to use the USB outlet with a Motorola OEM USB to micro USB cord, it would not charge. I made 2 returns to the Verizon store thinking it was a defective charger before one of the other sales reps overheard me complain and stated it does not have enough power to charge a phone, a bluetooth headset maybe, but not a phone. It even states on the charger's packaging that it will charge 2 phones at once! Maybe two dumb phones, but definitely does not have the juice for 2 smartphones. I returned it for a refund. I will not spend $23 on a product that only half works.
As many others have stated, I DID NOT receive the Verizon brand car charger as pictured in the advertisement. I ordered this item from The OEM Shop and received it within about 3 days, which was great. However, it was not a Verizon car charger in an unopened box, as some lucky folks received. It was a no-name charger in a plastic bag. The little plastic piece on top was hanging off and fell off as soon as it was taken out of the package.I didn't dare try charging my Droid Incredible with it, since it was literally falling apart. OEM shop responded promptly to my email, not with a proper replacement, but by telling me to "recycle" my damaged item and saying they will credit me in 3-5 days...clearly they didn't want the piece of junk either! (It's been almost a week and nothing yet). Luckily, I got a charger on CellPhoneShop.net for $11.00 (it says CMS as the brand?) and it has been working great.
**Update**I received a refund of my purchase price and Brian, from OEM was very nice. He called me and emailed me to offer a replacement device at no cost to me. He did advise me that they have NO VERIZON origianl charges but the ones they have "work just fine". I got the replacement promptly, but have yet to use it, as it is still the same as what I got originally, just minus the brokemn plastic piece. There is no info on the item whatsoever to identify who made it and where. Still using the one I got at CellPhoneShop with no problems at all.
I didn't order through Amazon. The charger I received was not a Verizon charger. It had a piece of black plastic that fell off where the Verizon logo should have been. I would have paid more to return it than it cost. After I submitted negative feedback the seller replaced it with a Motorola charger and refunded my money. I have to give them credit for good customer service.
The item is NOT branded and the plastic piece where the company logo should be is not secured in any way, shape or form. It works but it is not the item as pictured. Its a cheap off-brand charger so buyer beware.
Simply put, this device was defective right out of the box. Did not work once. Do not be seduced by the low price, you will still end up having to buy a more expensive charger to replace this one. Save yourself the trouble, do not buy this charger! - Car Chargers - Usb - Verizon - Universal Charger'

Cell Phone Memory - micro sd, sandisk
Based on some other reviews here I wanted to avoid BlueProton and tried to purchase through seller "Everything But Stromboli" but at the time it was not available through that store. I saw in the merchant feedback section that BlueProton had received some good reviews in recent days for this item so I went ahead and ordered through BlueProton/Fulfilled by Amazon.
I received it very fast, earlier than estimated, and it appeared to be a genuine unopened SanDisk-branded cardboard/blister pack display item with the small plastic reuseable snap container (jewel case) holding the card, and "SanDisk" is clearly printed on the card itself. As described, this pkg contained only the card - no USB adapter, lanyard, etc., which I didn't want anyway, but when I ordered last week some of those extras were available free via BlueProton special offers if you wanted them.
Just a little more info on the package contents, since there seems to be some variability depending on the seller and what they happen to be shipping at the time: The included "eMusic insert" mentioned in the Product Description was a $10 "eMusic Card." Although not mentioned in the description, my package also happened to include another insert with a password to access a download of SanDisk's Media Manager software for PCs, for managing music and photo transfers between your phone and PC.
The card itself was preformatted FAT32 and totally blank out of the package. I installed it today in my Droid Milestone, and it couldn't have been easier:
1. copy contents of original 8 GB card to my PC (Windows XP Pro)
2. copy contents from PC to new 32 GB card using USB adapter
3. power off phone
4. remove original 8 GB card from phone
5. install new 32 GB card in phone
6. power on phone
Everything on the phone is working just as before except now I have 32 GB instead of 8 - well, technically 29.7 - 31.9 GB depending on how you read XP's disk properties info, and the phone itself detects a capacity of 29.71 GB. (I believe the FAT32 file system requires some space which is why available capacity doesn't read exactly 32 GB.) At this point I have only loaded less than 3 GB on the card but so far so good. SanDisk 32GB MicroSDHC Card (SDSDQ-032G-A11M, US Retail Package)
As of December 2010, SanDisk has updated the Class on SDSDQ-032G-A11M from Class 2 to Class 4.
However, SanDisk is removing any mention of "Class" on non-ULTRA non-EXTREME card retail packaging in order to have the flexibility to package whichever class card the SanDisk factory sees fit. Unfortunately, SanDisk does not believe the average consumer cares about what Class designation is on the memory card, though many consumers do care.
Unfortunately, since SanDisk uses the same P/N and UPC code, there is no way to tell whether Class 2 or Class 4 will ship inside the package. This is compounded by not all vendors and fulfillment centers use FIFO inventory shipping standards and old inventory can persist for a very long time.
Customers seeking further information about this change may contact SanDisk customer service at 1-866-SANDISK.
I just installed SanDisk 32GB MicroSDHC Card (SDSDQ-032G-A11M, US Retail Package). Purchased the card from Amazon.com with Amazon as the seller. The price was $10 more than other sellers, but I bought it from Amazon for two reasons. First, I know I can return it if it doesn't work. Second, the card has been out of stock from Amazon for a couple of weeks, so I was confident that I would get a Class 4 card that was recently manufactured, not a Class 2 card that had been in inventory for months. Well, lucky me, I did receive a Class 4 card today.
Previously, I owned a 30GB ZuneHD. It was probably my favorite appliance, over my lappie and desktop. I used it everyday and everywhere. My new Samsung Focus i917 was hard to adjust to, as 8GB is not enough space after being used to the ZuneHD. So, I am risking it and trying the microSDHC card.
I will be diligent to post updates today and in the following weeks to keep everyone updated on how well the card is working. I am syncing 34+GB of music, videos, pics, and podcasts right now. Stay tuned for the results. Here's to hoping for flawless performance.
M
Ok, Two days in and the card has been performing very well. I have had one studder/freeze with a restart. I have had the phone for about three weeks before buying the microsd card and it had frozen/restarted once, so I cannot contribute this behavior to the card.
One note of strange behavior *After installing the card, I wanted to fill it up :) , so I told the Zune software to sync alot of music, podcasts and videos before I went to bed. While syncing througout the night, I could tell the phone had restarted by the bright screen glowing off of the ceiling. And restart it did. I was sleeping most of the time, but I would estimate the phone restated about 10 times throught the night. When I woke up, the phone had 11GB free.
Although there were multiple restarts while filling the card througout the night, like I said, it is going FINE in day to day operations. Promise to update again in a couple days.
Cheers, M
Ok. Another week with the card and it has been perfecto. I am very glad I took the plunge and spent almost a benjamin for this. My phone has not had one issue this week, even though it has been filled to 2GB free.
This card has my 100% reccomendation for the Samsung Focus.
UPDATE: I have used the card daily for nearly 30 days. The card works perfectly. I have not had one reset, failure, error code, or problem with the phone. Apps and games load in the same time they did before I installed the card. I am very impressed with my experience. I sure wish Samsung or Microsoft would release a list of supported cards so that everyone could have the great experience I have. Again, I ordered through Amazon, for a few bucks more than the other vendors, but I received a class 4 card. - Micro Sd - Sandisk - Micro Sdhc - Microsdhc'

Inspire Case
This case by HandHeld does snap on and off easily and it is rubberized in its own way. I like that the cut outs are matched perfectly to the HTC Inspire (and Desire HD). It'll be fine for some people; others will move on to higher quality.
It doesn't cost much so don't be shocked by the cheap feel of the unfinished edges, the little bumps that remind one of paint spatter, or the dried oil feel of the tacky rubberized material while wondering why there's no soft interior to protect the phone's finish and looking for a non-existant screen protector. HTC Inspire 4G Rubberized Black Protective Hard Case Faceplate Cover for HTC Inspire 4G - AT&T
It's a nice case, if you don't plan on taking it off your phone. I removed it to put on a screen saver, and the plastic clips broke off. They wanted me to pay for shipping to return it, but it's not worth the postage.
The case is durable and fits well. No interior padding to protect the phone. The rubberized coating peels off after a few days of use. Would not recommend to a friend. Have placed an order for a higher quality case.
I bought this cover for a friend of mine, and it was everything I was looking for. Great black color and it feels wonderful. Easy to clean and it's a unique cover that not many people will have. Would recommend this cover if you have this phone! LOVE IT!
When I recieved the item it was chipped I didnt mind the chip to much so I kept the item and I dealt with it. Little did I know that it would grow bigger and bigger now the item does not stay shut because of the chip on the corner that grew larger. I would purchase a rubber one if your in the market for a case going to look for another case now.
I bought this case because it looked to be the best for the low price.
It was great when I bought it: it looked nice and fit well on the phone.
People complain about it being too hard to remove the faceplate but thats good protection for the phone so it doesn't come off easily.
However, after 2-3 weeks the corners of the faceplate start to chip away causing the faceplate to not stay securely attached and I handled this phone with care. I guess it was just normal wear and tear.
I'm gonna buy another one that is of good quality and lasts a lot longer.
But if you want a cheap case to last you a couple weeks, this is great.
This phone case is buy far the biggest waste of money. No wonder it was so cheap. You decently get what u pay for with this peace of crap. After only one week of using it all of the coating peeled off. It was ridiculous.'

Prius Key Fob Battery - battery, button batteries
I just received these batteries, they work good, and the shipping was fast, but they are old stock. The date on the back of the package says 2006 so they are 4 year old batteries and the white paper was yellowing so these are not very fresh batteries but so far they are working. Energizer Watch/Electronic Batteries, 3 Volts, 2032, 2 batteries (Lithium Button Cell)
The picture shown on the Amazon site was deceptive! The package came in two little torn out sections from a big (wholesale?) package. The package looks old and it's unknown how long the batteries will last. Even though they are cheap, they may have short lifespan, which actually will cost you more than the fresh batteries sold on the market!
This is a great deal folks, if you happen to be in a store and see these at a lower price that's great, BUT if you drove ANYWHERE to get them you just lost money. These are delivered to your door and if you have Amazon Prime (as I do for years) 2 day shipping is free. You need to think the whole thing through before you give a deal like this 1 star. I love having to go no farther than my front door to get them. Just for the record, nobody is questioning the quality of the product which is 4/5 stars easy. IMPORTANT NOTE: It seems that from time to time Amazon changes the seller for these and not all are on Amazon Prime so look closely if that is important to you. One week it is and the next week it is not. Still a great product.
I purchased these batteries for my Porsche Key Remotes, and both keys failed after 6 months, normally they work for several years. Need to replace again. Turns out, they aren't as cheap as you think, since they have such a short life.
They were shipped fast, arriving three days after I ordered them, in a standard business envelope. However, they're not as pictured - instead of the two-pack pictured, there are two batteries from one of those cellophane sheets of many batteries you'll see advertised elsewhere on Amazon. Who needs the cardboard, right? The drawback is that there's no expiration date on the cellophane, so you don't know what kind of shelf life they'll have. On the up side, these are made in Japan, unlike the Ray-O-Vacs. - 3v - Button Batteries - Watch Batteries - Battery'

Sony Cybershot
Below are my thoughts on why I chose the HX100V:
1) I need a new camera with video. I wondered about getting a DSLR but then found a bridge camera to be more covenant (as far as size), flexible (as far as features, especially the zoom range) and more affordable.
2) I wanted a camera with tilt screen since I'll be taking angled pictures and video. This feature does make a difference for me.
3) I hate Sony's exclusivity to only their memory card. This camera did not have this problem; I can use non-Sony memory cards.
4) The 3-inch screen resolution on this camera was much greater than other bridge cameras. In my thinking, I'm using this screen all the time, so why not get the best resolution.
5) I didn't care much for the RAW feature. I take pictures and don't do much editing afterwards.
Now here are my thoughts after using the camera for one weekend, with the disclaimer that I'm not an ardent photographer. First, my positive thoughts so far:
1) I love the zoom on this camera. Wow! With smart zoom and image stabilizer turned on, it can zoom up to 216x's. Granted the picture gets a bit fuzzy around 50-60x's but it's still recognizable. The zoom makes it feel like a camera that the FBI would use!
2) The movie mode worked well. Clear to see on my TV and great sound. Again, the tilt screen-option helps tremendously.
3) I love the background defocus feature. Awesome! The pictures look professional. You do have to keep the right distance in order for it to work. But even if it doesn't work, it'll still take a normal picture with a message letting you know that it didn't work. Make sure you follow the instruction on the screen that tells you how far away from the subject you need to be. As you zoom in further, the distance from the subject increases. It takes some practice.
4) The size and weight are manageable. You can't fit it in your pocket, but at least you can carry it around all day without much hassle (plus you look like a better photographer since you have a bigger camera :)).
5) I used the camera for most of the day on Saturday. Battery needed to be recharged at night. Granted, I did not use the GPS feature at all. But with normal use, the battery holds its charge.
6) The smile detection feature is great! I turn on this feature and it automatically takes a shot when the subject smiles (the level of smile can be adjusted as well). This will especially be awesome for taking baby pictures. Plus, you can set up the timer on the camera to take a shot when one or two subjects are seen. It's great to take self portraits with my wife.
7) Panoramic view is useful at times. It's easy to use once you try it a couple of times.
8) Lower light shots are decent on this camera. It helps to set it to Superior Intelligent mode where it will take a few shots and combine them (note: file size is not much larger when doing this). The pictures are definitely brighter than my older cameras in low light. In addition, the back-light feature on Screen mode produces brighter pictures.
Below are my negative thoughts (after only one weekend of using it):
1) It's not a SLR camera. So don't expect SLR pictures. I've compared it to my old Sony point and shoot camera. The same pictures side-by-side shows some differences, but it's not major. The value of the HX100V is being able to tinker with setting to get a better picture (though I'm still learning this as I go). Plus, the intelligent mode does a better job in adjusting the settings. And most importantly, the zoom and extra features (defocus, smile detection, panoramic, video, etc.) sets it apart.
2) The manual ring in the front was hardly used. I admit, this feature was very attractive before buying. But after using it, I'm more comfortable using the regular zoom. The manual focus feature seems less useful since the camera already does an awesome job of focusing automatically.
Plus, if want to adjust the focus manually (when for instance shooting two subjects behind each other), I've found using the "tracking focus" easier. To do this, push the middle "control button", which will pull up a box where you place the object to focus on. Then push the middle button again and it locks this object in focus. Furthermore, you can use the dedicated "focus" button on the camera to do some manual focusing as well.
So in essence the manual focus ring is not as responsive when compared to SLR cameras, since it's electronic. But with other options available, it's not as a big deal.
3) I wish the "custom" button on the camera would have more options. For me, it would have been great to program the "defocus" feature to this button. This way I can activate it with a push of a button instead of going to Screen mode and choosing it, or the MR mode.
4) It's very easy to leave your fingerprints on the screen. I'd probably have to do some research on finding some protective sticky that won't leave fingerprint marks (if it even exists).
5) The lag time when I move the "mode dial ring" is a bit slower since it also shows which mode I'm moving it to on the screen. I don't see why the 3-inch screen shows these changes since I'm already looking at the dial. Plus, I don't think there's a way to de-activate the screen showing this info.
It's a small complaint since I have to wait for the screen to go "live". But I did find that you can start taking the next picture while the review screen is coming up.
6) I don't see myself using the 3D feature since I don't plan to get a 3D TV. Plus, unless someone can give a great reason to use the GPS on this camera, I don't see it being used much. The cost of battery life seems to overweight its benefits. But, GPS may come in handy if I'm on a traveling tour and I buy an extra battery.
7) The file sizes of the pictures are around 5MB when it's set on the 16MP mode. I shot the same picture with 16MP and 5MP (the 5MP picture makes the file size around 2MB). I couldn't see any major differences in these two pictures side-by-side. Since the maximum size I'll print these pictures will probably be 8x10, I'll be keeping the camera on the 5MP mode. Plus, this mode gives greater zoom than 16MP (with smart zoom turned on).
8) The video file sizes are large. A few seconds of video takes around 20-30MB's. So I'm thinking I'll keep the video mode lower (and not in the maximum-HD option) since I plan to burn my videos to DVD for storage. Even in these lower modes, the videos are still great.
These are my overall thoughts so far. I hope you find it useful in making your decision. And thank you again for all those who have posted before me on this camera. Ipad Stylus - acase, stylus
Here's what I found after trying a multitude of styluses (or is it styli?) after buying an iPad 2. I wanted to use an iPad as a sketch book and the pad like it's name...and go digital rather than filling up notebook after notebook. So the perfect stylus has to feel like a pen and work well enough on the screen to give the tactile feel of drawing or writing on paper.
I learned that styluses tips are of 2 main types - fuzzy fabric and rubber - with some additional quirky ones made of metal (O-Stylus)or the sausage stylus (sausage also works like your finger!)
--Fabric tips:
Pogo stylus- also used by Apple Geniuses - have a fabric tip that's great for typing or selecting or gaming even but not so good for writing or sketching anything more complex than a smiley face.
Sock Stylus: This is a conductive fabric sock stretched over a wooden quill, sold on etsy (can google it). This stylus was light and the fabric tip over a wooden pen helped reduce drag due to it's smooth but hard tip. In fast note taking this stylus tended to be easier on the wrist as it was less squishy than the ACase tip. However, it lacked sensitivity in some apps and I had to go over the strokes twice for them to register. Also since it's not rubber you have to hold it at a certain angle but once you do it gives you good results.
There are other fuzzy fabric styluses out there sold by small stores - like the ones by the guy who has been advertising on all Mac forums as stylusrus and posting pictures of his store in competitors' item images. They claim that they have the best yet but I haven't tried that one yet.
--Rubber tips:
The ACase in question (2nd Gen) has a rubber tip. Please check my uploaded pic for size comparison against some other styluses.
The rubber tip looks pretty thick but is still thinner than our fingers. The problem is that it does block the view when writing or sketching just like our finger. This 2nd gen ACase tries to eliminate some of that by creating a longer stylus than most others like Targus, Boxwave, Pogo and even 1st gen ACase styluses. The rubber tip is also thinner and longer like a pen to block less view. All good design choices.
Unfortunately it fails to deliver when compared to some others. If you've only tried the El Cheapos from eBay etc or even from Amazon this is definitely a step up but falls behind the Targus and Boxwave. The longer stem is lighter and feels hollow and does not have the good weight of the 2-in-1 ACase that I tested. The longer rubber tip seems like a good solution until you try to use it on the iPad. I tested a Targus, ACase 2-in-1 and ACase 2nd gen in conjunction on Penultimate and UPad writing apps on iPad and also on Sketchbook Pro. I also used it for general tapping to select mail and do other tasks on iPad along with the rest. It failed to deliver as well as the others all counts. The rubber tip had to be angled a certain way to write and it kept missing strokes, if you pressed harder it delivered but the thinner rubber tip felt squishy and unnatural inducing writers' cramp. If you have to worry about the angle you're holding it at all times it's certainly not a natural process of writing. I took off the cord that attaches it to the headphone jack immediately as it makes an annoying jingling noise when you use the stylus. As a workaround I took off the metal spring hook that attaches the cord to the top of the stylus and tied the cord back on using some sturdy black thread which made it quieter.
Using ACase 2nd gen on an iPhone 4: For the iPad 2 I did not find it the best stylus to use, but when using on a smaller screen like an iPhone 4 it allowed me to select those small type links or buttons more precisely simply because the tip is thinner and allowed me to see better, rather than the hit and pray when using the finger. So if you're primarily going to use the stylus for tapping on a smartphone rather than sketching or writing this stylus is a good choice.
The ACase 2-in-1 was much better, Acase 2 in 1 Stylus + Pen for Apple iPad 16GB, 32GB, 64GB WiFi + 3G, iPad 2, iPhone, iPod, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy, BlackBerry Playbook (Black). The weight was right and it felt balanced in the hand. The tip was more responsive when writing or sketching perhaps due to larger surface area in contact with the screen. However, I still prefer the Targus Targus Stylus for Apple iPad 16GB, 32GB, 64GB WiFi + 3G, iPad 2, iPhone, iPod, Tablet AMM01US (Black) overall for writing on iPad 2 as it is the most responsive of all and has a matte finish stem rather than ACase's smooth finish which makes it a little less slippery to hold. The iPad 2 is already so slinky, I don't want to worry about dropping the stylus too!!
I've also heard good things about the Boxwave and Alupen but haven't tested them so I can't say if they're better than Targus.
So there you have it, Targus was the winner in writing and sketching but still a 3.8/5 compared to the 3 stars for ACase 2nd Gen stylus. Acase 2nd Generation Apple iPad / iPhone / iPod Capacitive Stylus (Jet Black) Newest Model - Touch Screen Stylus - Stylus - Acase - Iphone Stylus'

I have been in the siding business for 3 years now and used every major brand of siding gun out there, the Max nailer out preforms the competition because of the light weight, minutley adjusted power, and the fact that it uses very little air i recommend this gun or and max nailer to anyone Max CN565S 1-3/4-Inch to 2-1/2-Inch Coil Siding Nailer
After reading several positive reviews, I purchased the Max CN565S in May. Initially, I had no problems, but just after my first coil of nails, it began to jam and jam consistently. In fact, it jammed so hard, I had to take it in for service. Even after being looked at by service, the gun continues to misfire and jam off and on. I'm a bit disappointed to say the least, but some times things do go wrong. It's entirely possible that I purchased a bad batch of coiled nails, I just can't put my foot on it, but it's working reasonably well so I'll leave well enough alone.
On the plus side: the gun is balanced and light weight. The depth setting was easy to use, but maintaining the setting is a choir. My gun was serviced by Duo-Fast Northeast. Nice folks; prompt service.
The Max cn565s siding nailer I purchased is the best price I can find on the market compared to other web sites, or in stores. In fact I have saved 50% by purchasing online. I am very happy with the product to date and have had no problems with it as of yet. - Siding Gauge - Bostitch - Siding Tools - Hardie Board Gauge'

Address Labels
These labels are NOT clear. They are "frosted" looking unless you are using them on already white or ivory colored paper. I just hung up from Avery and this IS the best product they have for ink jet printing, in terms of clear labels, however the word "frosted" came from Avery as they were describing the issue. They said if you use it on anything "colored" it will appear frosted.
The cover of the product envelope shows a label on a tannish paper. It does not appear frosted on that. I explained I really and truly needed CLEAR labels. They did not have any alternate product to offer, and so I am getting a refund and mailing them the unused labels (they will reimburse shipping also).
What a pain!! Now, to search for some truly clear labels that don't cost $60 per package! Avery Easy Peel Mailing Labels for Ink Jet Printers, 1 x 2.625 Inches, Clear, Pack of 300 (18660)
My fiance and I ordered these labels to use for our wedding invitations, they were wonderful. It was so easy to use the mailings import feature with the product code in Word. We just exported our guest list into excel from on of the wedding websites we used to plan the wedding. Then from excel we imported the list into word and the template for these labels...then just print! They looked great, and since we are on a time crunch printing the addresses and return address was much faster than handwriting all of them! The clear labels looked great against our ivory envelopes! You can barely notice them! We're even going to use these for labeling our favors! I highly reccomend them!
I ordered these labels for my wedding invitations. I was really excited to find clear labels for ink jet printers. The labels I printed turned out amazing, the only problem I had was trying to get the sheets to feed throug my printer properly. It could very well just be my printer, but I would recommend putting one sheet through at a time and testing to see how it works, because mine was a huge fight, but worth it.
I have purchase these labels 2 different times and I will never buy them again. I have an HP photosmart C7200 series printer and every time I feed a page of these labels through it, small pieces of the lablel paper come loose inside and end up jamming my printer. It is very frustrating when it takes over 1/2 hour to print half a page of labels, because of the jams. I have changed to white labels and they do not cause the same problem.
I bought these to print addresses for thank-you cards for my baby shower. I wanted to make them look as close to hand-written as possible, so I used a caligraphy font. I was very impressed. The color of the envelope showed through and the labels were very thin and not very noticable.
I used Excel because I'm not good at mail merge, and also because I wanted to keep the addresses for Christmas cards.
Truly we were looking for clear labels to re-do name tags for our Toastmasters group. the only Clear labels we could find in town were 10x what this pricing was and so even with the freight, it was a bargain. Thank you,
We use these to print usage and care instructions that we place on the back of business cards that we attach to our hand-crafted products. Being transparent, they lend a quality of professionalism to our business. The new function of tearing off the seam between rows makes it much easier to remove the labels.'

Ipod Touch 4th Generation Case - otterbox defender, otterbox
Just got this case to replace the Belkin Grip Graphix (a nice silicone case), which I liked but doesn't do much of anything for protection.
I loved the Otterbox I got for my wife's Blackberry, which would have been toast by now without its protection, so I decided to give this a try to protect my new iPod. Purchased directly from Otterbox (used 10% off coupon). Extremely fast delivery (2 days).
The Good:
- AWESOME protection. This thing is made to take a beating more than any other case I've seen
- Nice screen cover. Anti-glare, but doesn't have too much sparkling/diffraction effect. Also easy to wipe down. Can't comment on durability yet, but seems good so far. No problems at all using the interface through the screen.
- Buttons are still easy to use (volume requires some force to press, but nothing bad)
- Very good grip - much easier to hold than the plain iPod without a case (though the Belkin I had was also very good in this regard, as are most silicone cases)
- Looks nice, very clean appearance
- The silicone outside fits nice and tightly over the hard inner shell
The Bad:
- Pretty bulky - turns your nifty thin iPod touch into the size of an iPod classic. Still, not too bad for the level of protection it provides
- Raised edges around the screen make it harder to use the interface, especially for some games and trying to type when in vertical/portrait orientation. I even fail to unlock it with the slide gesture fairly often (but then again, I have large fingers)
- Some uncovered parts, including the Apple logo on the back. This is good and bad - probably good for camera quality, but when you take that case off after a while, I imagine you are going to have a nice scratched up circle around the Apple logo =P
The Ugly:
- It pretty much will make your iPod unusable in any dock. I finally got an iPod to use with my Onkyo dock, and now I can't dock it. But, I knew this by the other reviews before I bought it!
- The flaps covering the dock connector and earphone jack are floppy, as mentioned by other reviews. This really is just ugly. In particular, the one for the earphone jack doesn't seat properly into the jack, and pops out a bit which looks goofy and catches my finger when holding it.
Overall, I like the case, but am bummed about the docking issue, and don't care for the floppy covers over the ports. I would give it 4 - 4.5 stars. Otterbox Defender Case for iPod touch 4th Generation (Black Plastic / Black Silicone)
I had a 2G/3G Defender case on my previous iPod Touch 3G, which is now my wife's since she got me the 4G for xmas. The new 4G case feels pleasantly thinner than the previous model (which felt a bit too chunky), but I hope it has the same level of protection. I've dropped my previous iPod accidentally from counter height onto tile floor and it's been fine in the 2G/3G Defender case, and the new thinness of this case makes me wonder if it would protect as well (not intending to try).
As others have mentioned, the sync port and headphone dock flaps on the bottom are more difficult to get to stay in, and flop out easier, which is frustrating enough to almost give this 4 stars instead of 5, but that would be unfair to other people looking to compare this great case to other lesser cases. The 2G/3G version of this case completely covered the iPod and stayed covered unless you deliberately opened the port flaps. This case has 4 unprotected holes: for both cameras (front and back), for light sensor, and for the speaker (next to the ports). Not sure how I feel about that. Will probably let more dust/dirt in, and the new hard plastic case is much harder to take off than the previous one for cleaning.
On the plus side, the new protective screen exhibits no oilslicking like the old one did (see talcum powder workarounds for that on the old one), but the new one has already picked up a few light fingernail marks from my relatives playing angry birds on it.
The pad for the power button does make it easier to press, but the volume pads require substantially more force.
I've had it now for a bit under a week, and it's still a wonderful case, like the previous gen version, with the above caveats. 4 stars comparatively, 5 stars compared to other cases.
UPDATE: After using it daily for a couple months now, I've dropped this from 5 to 4 stars, as the silicone wrapper keeps slipping, and buckling up a bit on the hard inner case. This combined with the flaps issue, regular dirt accumulation through the holes, and a bit of tactile (not audible) creaking of the plastic case, compel me to 4 star this instead of 5. Don't get me wrong, if I lost it, I'd replace it with another one, and it still protects very well against drops and bumps, but it seems a few needless things were shortcut when designing this. - Ipod Touch 4th Generation - Ipod Touch 4g Case - Otterbox Defender - Otterbox'

Cordless Screwdriver
This tool is, for the money, one of the best values around. Don't go to Home Depot and buy a Ryobi 12 volt. This tool has 10 more inch/pounds of torque, 100 more rpm's of speed, and it's actually made by Black and Decker. The Ryobi's are made by Techtronic, which is obviously NOT Ryobi of Japan. Not knocking Ryobi of Japan, of course. Those are DIFFERENT tools altogether. The closest real competitor would be a craftsman, which is more expensive, and barring Craftsman Professional, no more product for the money. Feels solid and backed by a great home use warranty of two years. MUST HAVE !!! Black & Decker CDC120ASB 12-Volt Compact Drill with 20 Accessories
This is a very good drill/driver for occasional home use. The driver function is very good, I expected a little more from the drill, which is a little slow considering the power of this machine, and if you are going to use this drill for long periods, you will find it a little bit heavy. But overall, it works great for occasional use. Also, considering it is cordless, makes both for drill and drive, comes with all the accessories you will need for occasional use (drill and drive bits) and it comes with a carrying bag... put all this into account and you have a great value for you money.
I used this drill a few days ago to bore holes for a handsome piece of black locust root that I was mounting as a found sculpture on a mahogany base. It worked well both in drilling the mahogany and the locust, and in driving screws using the excellent fully adjustable torque which is one of the features of this drill.
It comes in a handsome carrying case with a handle and an assortment of drill and screw bits. It was relatively inexpensive. A good buy and a good tool.
JS
Regardless of what specs the drill has, what it doesn't say in the description is that you have to plug the recharging plug directly into the drill handle to charge the battery. Therefore, there is no way to have a second battery charging while you continue to use the drill since there is no separate charging station. Omitting this from the description is not enough to avoid responsibility for the obvious disadvantage of this drill. The package says that the battery is easily removable which implies it can be swapped for a fully charged battery. There are no pictures that show the hole in the back of the handle that the charger has to plug into. A truly stupid system. They should forget about the extras they include and just make a charging station for it like most other 12 volt drills.
If you are looking for an economical general use cordless drill, you might want to check out his model. It is powered by a 12 volt battery, and develops decent torque (rated at 105 inch/pounds) for light to moderate tasks. This drill is probably not suited for heavy commercial construction applications, as it does not reach high speeds, or develop high torque, and the battery life is probably not long enough to last you through a full day of heavy duty use.
For the casual user however, the drill may meet your needs. The frame is on the smaller side, and it is relatively lightweight. It is simple to use, as the motor operates in forward or reverse, controlled by a switch in the handle. With the proper bit, it can handle materials like plastics, wood, CMU, and some metals.
The torque is adjustable to six different levels. At the maximum setting, (using a masonry bit), the drill is supposed to be able to handle concrete walls. When you intend to drill through dense material, keep in mind that the bits are locked down by hand tightening the chuck (there is no key), so if the chuck is not tight enough, it may free spin if your bit gets stuck.
The battery needs to be attached to the drill to be charged. Power is plugged into a jack on the back of the handle. A double sided screwdriver bit, is attached to a clip on the drill body. The drill comes with a no frills nylon carrying case, and a few assorted bits. For light tasks, this lightweight tool could be a good option, but repeating again, this drill is not designed for high speed, or heavy torque applications. If you intend to do mostly heavy duty tasks, you would be better off buying a more powerful unit, that operates at higher voltage.
It does what it says it will do.. Not a heavy duty tool, but not priced as one either. It comes with the same accessories that every other drill comes with. These do however seem to stand up better then others. The battery dies a bit to soon for my tastes, but still good for it's size. If you use a drill everyday or once a week, this might not be the best choice.
I basically use this for small projects around the house. Not good for all day use as you can't charge the battery without it being connected to the drill. Lightweight, great for projects around the house.
This is my first drill,i was skeptical how it would work,it worked great.it comes with all the drill set bits so i need not purchase them seperately (so no extra12$).I bought some furnitures(dresser, nightstands) from ikea and needed this to assemble them ,it was very compact and was very easy to use.Glad i made this purchase.
I won't get into specifics, because other reviews have done that pretty well. My take on this drill is that it is very strong and pretty comfortable to hold, and I'm surprised how good it is for the price. With a full charge, it seemed as powerful as my corded drill.
1-Month Update:
I was very pleased with this drill when I first got it. I use a cordless drill semi-regularly, for all sorts of things, and it kept up well. That is until I needed to drill some holes in the wooden supports in my basement ceiling. I had to run a cable wire from one side of the basement to another, and needed some new holes to properly run the wire. This drill cut through the first few with no problem, but on about the 5th one, I noticed the entire plastic casing seemed to be flexing slightly. By the time I was done, my drill was about twice as loud as it used to be, and had about 1/3 the power and speed. Clearly something inside got messed up; I don't know if it was the motor or gears or what. Even after fully charging it, it's god-awfully loud, slow, and weak. And of course I'm just a couple days past being able to return it. Now, I know I was using it for a pretty harsh job for a cordless drill, but I previously owned just about the cheapest Ryobi screwdriver you could buy, and it never failed me or gave me problems until about the 5th year of owning it and using it. All in all, I'd recommend this drill to someone if they only need to drill lightweight holes or to use it only as a screwdriver. But if you need to drill through anything substantial, you might as well use a corded drill or spend some more money on a better cordless one.'

Best Mp3 Player - sony walkman, mp3 player
This is my second purchase of a Sony Walkman. My first one was for my husband for our anniversary. I bought him an 8g player (NWZ-E438) and once I got that up and running, I realized that 8g really isn't that much when I realized that he has a whole bunch of cd's and videos and pictures. But the reason why I bought the 8g of that model was because it had an equalizer. Now, let's talk about this beautiful S545 model - WOW! It's 16g and what a beauty. the sound quality is A-Mazing, and the picture/video screen is clear and crisp. AND it has an equalizer - 5 settings, plus 2 custom settings = 7 equalizer settings. I bought mine at Walmart, and it was $119. I also got it in red - the red color is a nice color, not faded or pastelie. The sound quality from the exterior speakers will surprise you. Keep in mind that you will not be able to host a large dance party with it, but it is just perfect for a personal experience, let's say in your room or something like that. The sound from the speakers is quite nice, and I would compare it to the speaker from my Motorola RAZR2. My phone can get a lot louder than the Sony Walkman, but the quality of sound is just as good. I was not in any way disappointed with the quality. The only thing I would change on this player is the placement of the speakers - they are on the back, not the front. The picture of this player might fool you to think the speakers are in the front, but they are not. I also learned that this player will not be able to download podcasts. The higher-end Sony Walkmans do.
Another thing is that the software for the player comes loaded in the player, instead of including a cd in the box. It worked really great, it was simple and just way too easy to use. It was much easier to set up on the computer and get going than the one I bought for my husband. With the software, "Content Transfer" all you have to do is drag a song, or a picture or a video right to the Content Transfer window, and POW - it's there, and it knows right where to put it (music, pictures, video). So you don't even have to fuss around and click into the different files. I already have 1,926 songs in WMA format in 48Kbps, 38 videos, and 223 photos, and I have 10g left. Right out of the box, because of the software itself, there is 2g being used for the player, and you get 14g to play with.
This player will also record voice recordings and FM radio recordings (song, advertisement, talk show or whatever). It looks like they give you 99 hours and 59 minutes of recording time.
The FM player will only work if you have either your headset plugged in or your speakers plugged in. The FM won't work with the external speakers - it needs to use the wire as an antenna. And I didn't think the FM was bad - worked and sounded just fine to me.
So, if you are looking for a player, you just might want to consider this one. Sony Walkman NWZS545RED 16 GB Video MP3 Player (Red)
Review: Sony 16GB S545 mp3/video player (nov 26 '09)
I only will report on the MP3 part because I have not used the video part. Got the player for $99 at best buys 3 weeks ago.
Pros: I like the sound quality - just excellent - also has 2 user programmable equalizers. In addition it has an extra Bass enhancement which works very well. I also like the possibility to sort/select music through the usual album/artist/etc stuff but also through normal folder selection as you see it on your PC. This is very convenient if you have CDs that are not available on the internet catalogs. Startup and menu response it acceptable quick.
The built-in stereo speaker sound very nice for their small size when the special equalizer settings are used (menu item). it also comes with a small plastic piece, attached to the back, which allows to have the player sit with about 45 degrees.
To make it short as a pure mp3 player this is an excellent choice.
Cons:
1. you can not define a playlist on the player -hello Sony are you sleepy!!!!!
2. if you like to listen to audiobooks which usually have file length of 30min or longer you cannot set a bookmark. That is ridiculous - how can they miss this. It took me a few days to figure out how I can quickly get to let's 20min in to a recording of 40min. first I just used to hold down the fast forward button but that takes you about a few minutes to get there - I think it only advances at 4x normal speed. I found no other way in the manual. But here the solution: while playing the file - hit pause-now hold down fast forward or fast backward. Both work and get you to the place quickly. nice thing is that both of these functions also wrap around at end or beginning of file.
3. here a bummer. The player has a sleep and wakeup timer. Very nice but you can not use both at the same time. They cancel each other out. So either you go to sleep with sony music or you wake up with it.
4. built-in microphone. No sensitivity adjustment and default is quite insensitive. You really need to speak at close distance in to the microphone to have good recording. I used AUDACITY to renormalize voice recordings.
5. if connected to PC the player is only recognized in MTP mode - can not be changed. I do not think it is a big deal but e.g. you can not use the right click SEARCH function usually available in windows explorer.
Conclusion:
Very nice player for the money.
i subtracted 1 star for all the cons but they may not be important to other users. - 16gb - Mp3 Player - Sony Walkman - Sony Mp3'

Biographies Or Memoirs - memoirs, escape
I have read a lot of WWII books and I'm pretty familiar with a lot of things that went on during the war. (even though there are probably a million stories that haven't been told.) But this book gave me a whole new perspective.
Joe Beyrle was a paratrooper with the Screaming Eagles and dropped behind enemy lines. After a few days lost and alone, he was unfortunately captured by the Germans. Wounded, beaten & tortured he was moved from one prison to another. Wow, what this guy went through!
But he never gave up on trying to escape. Except that he had the worst luck where that was concerned. Talk about jumping from the fire into the frying pan!!!
He finally did escape and hooked up to fight with the Russian army. This is where the new insights come in because I learned more about the Russian losses in WWII than I ever realized.
Americans can't even begin to imagine how many Russian soldiers and civilians were killed in the war. No wonder they hated the Germans. And fighting along with them, Beyrle grew to respect his new friends (though definitely not Stalin, the country's leader, who didn't seem to care how many of his people died, as long as the Germans were pushed back.)
This book was so interesting, I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. It is written very well, and Thomas Taylor explained the battles and progress of the European theater of war so that it was easy to understand. He would tell the story from Joe's point of view, then in the next chapter, let you know what was going on with the rest of the war at this time. There was so much suspense, I could totally see this made into a movie. I definitely recommend it. Behind Hitler's Lines: The True Story of the Only Soldier to Fight for both America and the Soviet Union in World War II
I am very suprised this book is not as popular as others. It reads like a movie. The things this man went through were unthinkable. I was on the edge of my seat anxious to get to the next page the whole time.
I am not very good at giving reviews as others but I have read many other war memoirs. Its very hard for me to find a World war 2 one that I have not read and this one ranks towards the top. If your reading this review and considering the book- please get it. You will not be sorry. Its an easy read, the chapters are not that long and the story is just simply amazing.
This guy did not recieve the commeroation he deserves for what he went through.
This is a great book. this is a story about joe from the 101st airbourne. it shows his triumphs and let downs through world war two. from his first mission to his last. i am a junior in high school and am not that big of a reader. this was honestly the first book i couldnt put down. every page interested me more than i thought a book ever could. a very good bokk for someone my age or above. his intelligance and will to survive made this story one of the best.
A very well-written account of one gentleman who served with the 101st Airborne. His adventures are so twisting and turning, it must be a true account! If it were fiction, the reader would say -- couldn't be done! The book reads like fiction, i.e., it is easy to read. Recommended by this reader.
I enjoyed this book. I would reccommend it to anyone interested in World War 2. While reading Mr. Taylor's story I was often tempted to shout, "Wait! Don't do that!", as the author described what his next plan was. It seems almost like a comedy of errors that Mr' Taylor stumbled through, though there was nothing comical about being in combat, being captured and certainly not about being tortured day after day with unimaginable pain derived from the most medival of techniques. The jump into Normandy, the capture, the POW camps, the escapes, recapture, the near-death torturing, the final escape, fighting along side the Russians. It's all here in great detail. If you think you will like this book-you will!
As an author writing about WWII I read WWII books all the time. This one really stands out both for its TRULY unique story and the writer's skill. A very moving and violent book indeed. I truly had a hard time putting down this book. I sought every opportunity to continue reading it. Very well done Mr. Taylor!
Best regards,
Lars Gyllenhaal
