Big And Tall - cargo, pants
I purchased these pants for a safari trip to South Africa, and after two weeks of climbing in and out of safari viewing trucks and hiking through bush (where it seems like almost every plant has thorns), these pants are still in great condition. Dickies Cargo Pant 36x32 Olive
Well, the pants are nice. One ill point is that the pants seem to have been cut a little off. When sewed together they had to have been forced on one pant leg. This forced sewing cause the pant leg on one side between the legs to have a permanent twist. When ironing you have to work around this so as not to cause a ironed wrinkle.
Otherwise: Good color, the twist does not seem to bother my son.
Other draw back is: There are never enough of my sons size for order and companies do not provide a more varied color range. Surely, there can be more colors for the guys over 42 inch waist.
What can you say about Dickies cargo pants? They're comfortable. I love cargoes for the extra storage (obviously), and I'm always happy to find a pair that looks good and fits well. These run just a tad small around the waist, so if you're squeezing into regular 36s you may want to go ahead and get a 40. The length is just right, however. I have two pairs of these, in black and khaki, and I prefer the khaki. The black pair is just as comfortable, but the color is beginning to fade after just a few washes. All in all, though, they're a great pair of pants. - Cargo - Levi - Pants - Mens'

Headphone Amps - usb dac, headphone amp
Hi, I will start by saying the 5 star rating is based partly on price. The fiio E7 is very similar in function to the udac.
It adds, flexibility, by adding a battery for use as a portable amp for a dap. It also adds, 4 levels of bass 0-3
It's not so much of a big bloat or anything, it's actualy useful, but for the most part 0 -2 is useful, 3 being a bit much for most iems or portable cans. The gain is not as high as on the udac, so it won't play hard to drive cans quite as loud as the udac. But the added features, and the flexibility make it a much better value.
I prefer The fiio E7 in pretty much all aspects, it comes with a very nice pouch, sounds better, and really looks better than the udac. I still like the udac, but the fiio E7 just gives you more for the money. This amp is truly a step up from the little E5 by a fair bit. It is very hard to believe this unit can be purchased for well under 100 dollars.
The udac set a new standard at this price level, and the fiio E7 raised the bar. Battery life is very good, 60-80 hours.
Depending on the iems or cans being used, and how loud you listen. Comes with a silicone case for protecting it, and has teo headphone outs. everything that needs to be plugged in to the amp has openings in the sleeve. and the volume and menu buttons have round marks, making it east to use all functions.
The fit and finish belie it's price, I've seen and own amps costing much more that look pretty lousy next to it.
Do not hesitate because of the low price, you will be pleased. Just (as always) don't expect it to top similar items selling for 20 times as much. Keeping in mind, the 20 fold price, is no where near the improvement you might expect.
Shop for best price if you want to pay less.
An update......Some have called the Fiio E7 cold sounding with the bass level set to zero, that is simply not true. If the e7 is bass light to your ears with the bass set to zero, you are a basshead. I have tried almost every iem I own. My findings are that a particular iem I own that sounds cold on a near perfect flat 1200 dollar amp, sounds warmer, and more pleasant on the e7 with the bass level at zero. Further, I have a few iem's that don't play really well with the fiio. If you own these iem's......amazon is not where you would look for advice or reviews. I still believe the Fiio e7 is the most stunning audio bargain available at this time. No one amp is the end all for all solutions. Save for a rare few exceptions, I now use this amp more than any other. It's actually feeding music to my ears as I type this update. For thos with an Ipod classic, or Ipod touch, the supplied band, combined with an lod, is also a great portable set up. The silcone case is prefect. If anyone owns the ortofon EQ7.........this little amp is the perfect match for it!!! I am still going to buy more, and look forward to reviewing the upcoming fiio e9, just as soon as I get my hands on one. Thanks.....Wiley
Final words. If you were thinking of buying this amp for using it with a DAP only, it is not the first choice. The E5 will do fine. If you may use it on a laptop, netbook etc. We are right back to this being the most flexible amp for the money. The UDAC 2 is improved over the original (marginally) It still doesn't offer the flexibility of the fiio e7 though.
This amp should be used via LOd on a portabe player or as a USB?DAC to sund it's best. Does not work early as well any other way. It was meant for these options. End of story, at least my ears believe so. FiiO E7 USB DAC and Portable Headphone Amplifier (Black)
I don't have any other portable headphone amps to compare this to, but I do own a Nuforce Desktop amp, which runs more than 4x the price of the Fiio E7.
This little box ROCKS. Great build quality, it looks like a high end piece of audio equipment.
Includes a 3.5MM gold-plated cable, a rubber sleeve, a soft case, a black band for the amp and your MP3 player, and a miniUSB to USB cable. Everything you need is there.
Plugged it into my laptop right away to charge the batteries. The "Fiio" logo lights up when it's charging, nice touch.
The screen is a really nice touch. Pretty much all the portable amps in this size and price range do not have any screen. Of course, you don't need it, you plug your input, your `phones and adjust the volume. But the screen is very high quality, and really adds to the unit, in my opinion.
The digital volume control took a bit to get used to, if you move it up/down several steps, it doesn't just ramp the sound up/down instantly like a dial, but changes it slowly to the new setting. Volume changes are smooth and there's no noise.
Sound quality? Oh yeah. At the moment I'm using the analog-in connected to the Nuforce iPod adapter output. The sound is amazingly clear, and gets quite loud with no distortion. I'm just plain amazed at the sound from this tiny amp. I mean, sure, it's only driving 32ohm headphones, and the source material is basically CD quality, but wow.
Rip one of your favorite songs with Lossless quality, listen to it through the headphone jack on your player, then plug it in through the E7 and listen to it again. The difference is shocking. So far I've only been able to use it with my Grado "iGrado" headphones, but the difference is evident immediately. Can't wait to try this out with my SR60's, which is what I really intend to use this with. They're both 32ohm headphones, but the SR60's are quite a bit better.
They say this amp is useable up to 300ohm headphones, so I will have to try them with my Sennheiser HD650's. It will be interesting to see how this little unit drives the 650's. I'm sure the output will be a bit lower, but if the E7 sounds as good as my Icon HDP, I'll be shocked. Then I'll wonder why I didn't buy this first and save the $450...
As far as shipping, they sent it out the same day I placed my Amazon order, and sent me the tracking number. Not a complaint, more of an FYI, my package was sent "signature required" via USPS, so make sure you have someone to sign for it when it comes.
UPDATE: Tested the E7 with my Grado SR60's and Sennheiser HD650's.
The higher quality of the SR60's was heard immediately, compared to listening with the iGrado's. The little Grado's are nice, but the SR60's just sound "larger", I guess would be the way I'd explain it. Same impedance on both models same output levels.
Next I tried the 650's. As I expected, I had to crank the digital volume a bit to drive the 300ohm headphones, but not a whole lot. A comfortable volume setting for the Grado's was about 20-25, with the 650's, I was listening at about 30-35. Cranking it up over 45 really gets overly loud for my tastes, but the sound quality still is there.
I still prefer my Icon amp for the HD650's, it's definitely a better DAC and amp, and has the digital-in which I prefer for the laptop. But for the price, the E7 is really amazing. - Amplifier - Headphone Amp - Usb Dac - Amp'

Franklin Roosevelt - eleanor roosevelt, polio
One of the first questions I asked about Warm Springs, HBO's biopic of Franklin D. Roosevelt was how did Kenneth Branagh get his legs to look like a polio victim? If it's makeup it's amazing, and if it's digital photography it's even more amazing. But kudos should also be given to the wonderful Branagh, who as a Brit., transforms himself into the ill-stricken president with consummate ease.
Rather than focus on Roosevelt's political life, Warm Springs chooses instead to deal with his valiant fight to overcome the effects of polio, dealing with his life from 1920 to 1928. It's a valiant and stirring production with an insightful teleplay, a stellar cast, and a superb director that coalesces it all to bring forth a rich and inspirational film.
The year is 1921 and Roosevelt then thirty-nine, attends a summer camp for boy scouts. He washes his face with some contaminated water, contracting polio, a disease that rarely struck adults. It left him with paralyzed legs and little hope for the future. With a small glimmer of hope, he traveled to a rundown resort in rural Georgia for a possible cure from exercise in a pool filled by the warm mineral waters.
There, among the rural poor and other people with crippling disabilities, in what must have seemed like a completely different universe, FDR discovers his own humanity. It is this humanity and his innate sympathy for the common man that helps shape his democratic leanings.
Although the power of the warm springs never rehabilitated Roosevelt, or gave him the "miracle" cure, the positive energy that emanated from the other polio survivors gave the man a new lease on life. He ended up being instrumental in the conversion of Warm Springs from a backwater hellhole to a streamlined, ultra-efficiently managed polio-treatment center, a mecca for hundreds of thousands of others who had been crippled by the debilitating illness.
Kenneth Branagh gives a towering performance as Roosevelt, showing him as a fighter, who hides, dreams and, with the help of a few others, regains the will to be a political leader. More than that, he is convincing as, bit by bit, the inexperienced, self absorbed and somewhat philandering patrician gives way to a man of uncommon passion and heightened sensitivity.
Cynthia Nixon is also good as Eleanor Roosevelt, who broadens her own horizons and conquers her own fears. She proves herself to be a loyal and faithful wife, even when Franklin asks her whether she can really have a happy life with him being so crippled.
The supporting players are also strong with Jane Alexander playing as his over-protective and snobbish mother Sara; David Paymer as his crusty chief aide Louis Howe; Kathy Bates as his no-nonsense physical therapist Helena Mahoney; and Tim Blake Nelson as Tom Loyless, the man in charge of Warm Springs.
Warm Springs embraces the complexity of the situation by simultaneously approaching the story from personal, social, medical, and even political perspectives. And the film cleverly avoids the saccharine and overly sentimental. The intelligent and carefully scripted dialogue is both revealing and thought provoking. The set design is remarkably faithful to the period, and the costumes are beautifully recreated.
Perhaps Warm Springs is most significant for showing us how Roosevelt removed the stigma of polio from the public consciousness, forever abolishing the misguided notions that the disease adversely affected the brain, that it could be spread merely by physical contact, or that it represented some kind of moral punishment for the "sins" of the victim. But this fine film is also significant for showing how one man could beat all the odds and go on to become one of the United States of America's greatest presidents. Mike Leonard September 05. Warm Springs
Sometimes refered to as that charming cripple in the White House, Franklin Delano Roosevelt was many things to many people. He was a strong leader as evidenced by winning the presidency four times, a friendly voice as evidenced by countless radio broadcasts called "fireside chats" but first and foremost, he was a man of great determination as evidenced by the splendid HBO Production, "Warm Springs." Other reviews on this thread credit the wonderful cast and crew of "Warm Springs" so rather then repeat much that's already been said, let me say thanks to HBO for having the courage to produce such a moving and inspirational chapter of our history. F.D.R. was called many things during his life, a socialist, a political opportunist, even a traitor to his class for the federal programs he initiated such as rural electrification, a government insured banking system and social security. Viewing the HBO production "Warm Springs," will help you understand why F.D.R. was also known as a humanist.
WARM SPRINGS is one of the finest films ever produced by HBO and clearly belongs on the theatrical screens. But until that happens the news of the release of the DVD should allow those who missed this phenomenal film to feel greeted with well-earned joy.
Writer Margaret Nagle and Director Joseph Sargent have created an isolated time in the life of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the inception of his polio at age 39 and the treatment of his impairment at Warm Springs, Georgia, and use this potential tragedy to demonstrate how a man of means and high political aspirations was humbled by a debilitating disease only to find healing and consolation at the hands of 'the common people', a change in his priorities that marked his popular success as a President who inherited the leadership of a country devastated by depression and war.
Kenneth Branagh is superlative as FDR, finding just the right amount of bravado and churlishness and womanizing while continuing to be the man of great potential and a loving husband to Eleanor (a surprisingly terrific Cynthia Nixon). His overbearing mother Sara Delano Roosevelt (Jane Alexander who is still remembered as a perfect 'Eleanor' in the older 'Franklin and Eleanor') tries her best to belittle Eleanor, only to enhance Eleanor's blossoming into the world respected, humanistic First Lady she became.
But much of the action is aptly placed at the healing resort of Warm Springs, a run down hot springs operated by Tom Loyless (Tim Blake Nelson) and the place where Helena Mahoney (Kathy Bates) nursed FDR back to health. The importance of this spot grows through the film and through FDR's life and in the end it is the beneficiary of his estate.
Watching Branagh tumble from political barnstormer to reluctant patient to humanized President is a heartwarming venture. His supporting cast is excellent - Bates, Nixon, Alexander, Nelson as well as David Paymer, Deborah Calloway Duke, Danny Connell, and many others. The direction by Joseph Sargent is one of simplicity, purity of purpose, and highly respectful of his story and his view of history. This is an important film. Highly Recommended. Slingbox - slingbox
I was first offered the Sling Adapter from our local Dish Network when we upgraded to an HD DVR. What I liked was that you can be anywhere around the world and via Internet, access your Dish Network DVR and watch a program anywhere. And I figured, why would I need this? The last thing I needed, was to be busy at work and then having the TV play on our cell phone, iPad or device.
But the reason why I purchased it was for the main purpose of giving my wife and child access to the DVR when I'm busing watching something on the main TV (movie, playing video games, etc.) So, now they can watch Dish Network on her laptop, computer or iPad. So, no more kicking me off the TV or vice versa.
I. THE SLING ADAPTER
The Sling Adapter is quite thin. It just sits on top of our DVR but it's a device as pictured...just plug it in to the back of your Dish Network DVR, connect to the Internet (I use a Logitech HD Powerline 200a, so one of the Powerline Adapters is connected to the router and the other one is connected to a wall socket that plugs into the Sling Adapter) and that's it.
II. HOW IT WORKS
You then go on Dishnetwork.com and log in and go to my account and then to DISH Remote Access. And you can access what's on your DVR, watch any program or schedule your DVR from your computer Laptop, iPhone or iPad. There is an app for iPhone and iPad. Very easy to use and lag depends on if you are doing many things on your computer. Note: Only one person can access the sling adapter at one time.
JUDGMENT CALL:
Aside from giving my wife and son another way to catch their shows when their father is hogging up the TV, I found it important during an emergency situation.
On March 10, 2011, the Sling Adapter had become so important in my life. On the day of the earthquake and tsunami disaster in Japan, while I was working and talking with a client from Japan late that night (afternoon, March 2011 in Japan), the earthquake hit and she had no idea what was going on and it was long. I was on Twitter and Japanese news trying to get updates of what was going on and I was able to access CNN from my iPad via the Sling Adapter and watching the US news, while utilizing my other work computers to watch the live Japanese news via Ustream.
The Sling Adapter was so useful as I was on the Internet working on the news of this disaster while watching both Japan and American news broadcasts. Although I was in the US at the time of the disaster, I realized, that if I was in Japan on business at the time and had access to the Internet, I could still watch the CNN broadcast or if you have NHK on your Dish Network service, I could have access that as well. Anything from Dish Network, I could access anywhere around the world from my iPad or iPhone through the use of my Dish Network service, DVR and Sling Adapter.
Also, I was recently at a relative's place who had Internet access but wished he had access to a sports game. No problem, I told him that I can access it using his Wi-Fi and then connecting to Dish Network on my iPad and sure enough, we were able to catch the game.
Another an example recently was when I traveled with family members. My father had to take a stop to a Ham Radio event and we were left in the car for which seemed like over an hour or maybe even two. Fortunately, where the event was located, there was free access to Wi-Fi and once again we were able to access Dish Network via the iPad through the Sling Adapter and tada...the kids had access to programming.
Overall, At first, I thought this device was something I would never use but now I realized how awesome this device is. It was more useful in our lives than I would have expected and I saw the importance of it especially during emergency situations.
It's only $99-$100+ and there is no extra cost from Dish Network to utilize this device.
I give this device my highest recommendation! Sling Adapter
I bought this with high hopes. I was very excited because of the android capability. To my disappointment, it is EXTREMELY laggy. Do not plan on ever fast forwarding a recorded show, because you will only be frustrated. It is slow to respond, making it impossible to fast forward and play as planned. Poor quality over 3g (often doesnt work at all). The app itself has a long ways to go. I downloaded the most recent update as of 5/25/11 and it still forces close all the time.
Pros-The app is free. No monthly fee.
Cons- The adapter is $100. Quality on phone is poor. Controls are extremely slow to respond.
I've been pretty disappointed with the performance of this, because I have only 0.5Mbps upload on my Internet. It's not really usable in any way at this speed. (NOTE: I'm still rating this positively because it's obviously not the device's fault.)
If you are considering this, I'd strongly recommend you do this first--
1. Go find a speed testing website. One that's easy is at [...]
2. Run the speed test. All you care about is the "upload" speed which is always a smaller number than your download speed.
3. If the upload speed is:
About 500 Kbps - Prepare for sadness, consider upgrading your broadband first
700Kbps - Bare minimum for the video to run so you can at least watch it.
1Mbps-2Mbps - You're probably fine
3Mbps and up - Sweet! You should have no problems streaming HD!
Note: 1Mbps = 1000Kbps. Convert as needed.
Sadly, many ISPs in this backwards country provide sub-1Mbps upload speeds. It's a shame. - Slingbox'

Toy Grocery Store - pretend play, play food
It's not as bad as plastic, but be aware that this toy is made primarily of some variety of MDF with VERY cheap laminates, a few bits of hardwood, and all the curved edges you see are FOAM!!!
The shape of this store is adorable, what a fun idea! If they had only finished it by using materials that wouldn't turn into trash if kids actually played with. Part of sustainability is that a product actually needs to hold up so we don't end up trashing it. Wonderworld Eco-Friendly Wonder Shop
I've had my eye on this store for quite some time now and when it went on sale I jumped at purchasing it. I am 7 months pregnant and was able put this together in under 15 minutes with a 2 1/2 year old crawling all over me. We currently have this in our family room placed next to a compact kitchen we'd previously purchased at Costco (I'm hoping when baby number two arrives finally that this will help entertain my son). My 2 1/2 year old is having a blast with this store and it holds the Melissa & Doug wooden food sets beautifully. The only thing that threw me off was the fact that in the pictures I thought this store was red & blue when in fact it's red and orange. No biggie though. The rounded edges are all foam which I think is actually great. When Charlie (my son) rams his shopping cart into it or bashes food into the edges they don't ding since it's a nice, thick foam that shows no wear and tear as of yet. I was also thrilled that with the incredible price of this store (especially compared to other stores that are available) we were able to purchase a cash register to go along with it.
So in summary: cute, compact, sturdy, easy to put together, affordable and loads of fun. I highly recommend this as an addition to your child's play things!
My 3 year old daughter is having a lot of fun with the shop. We added a cash register and play food to make it even better. I was afraid it would take up a lot of space but the shop is fairly compact. This toy is nice because it encourages the imagination. I am very happy with this product! - Wooden Toys - Melissa Doug - Play Food - Pretend Play'

Clever Toothbrush Holder
While chairing a committee to raise money for a new Children's Hospital, I handed these out at the first meeting.
I wanted the committee to think about the children 'first thing in the morning, and last thing at night'.
Although I know these were designed for children, I've given them to more adults than kids.
It is a guaranteed smile! Flipper Puppy Toothbrush Holder, Beagle
This turned out to be a great purchase. It opens and closes very easily even for my two-year old. I like that it stays much cleaner than all the other tooth brush holders we have had in the past. My only problem - not really a complaint because the packaging does specify this - you really have to place it on a mirror or other glass surface for it to stick really well. On our tile, it falls off too often. Unfortunately, the mirror is too far for the two-year old to reach.
I purchased this cute little toothbrush holder to hold my daughter's tooth brush. The description says it is great for traveling, but it won't stay closed! I am really disappointed that the product does not perform as the description stays closed. I am not going to pack this for a trip because the toothbrush will fall out!
This dog is too cute. He looks just like our yellow lab, that is on the white side. Works great, when my husband remembers to put his tooth brush in it. Very easy to pull out and pop back in without having to touch it.
I bought one for my boyfriend because his sink is nastyyy. It does a terrific job of keeping out dust, and the quality is great. It has two suction cups so it's never fallen down before. Also, it's really easy to clean, too. And it makes the sink look nicer. It may be expensive, but I expect it to last for years.'

I Would Recommend It - micro wrist weights, excercise equipment
I use these on my wrists while playing wii tennis and am now getting a real workout while I play! It was difficult to get used to at first; but now I can't play without them. They're very well made; sturdy and well priced.
Highly recommended! Wii Ankle Or Wrist Weights
I'm very happy with these weights, they aren't too light or too heavy. It's a great addition to the wii for exercises. I don't see why regular weights wouldn't work though, if you could get them cheaper. There really isn't anything that makes these specific to the wii that I've seen.
I knew in advance that these were labeled "Wii" but were in no way different from other weights. I still got them because they had good reviews and were reasonably priced.
Unfortunately, I must have very skinny arms, because even when they are pulled as tight as possible, they slide up and down my arms. I am going to have to get wrist warmers or something to wear under them, to prevent chafing.
If you are on the small side, these might be an annoyance for you.
Kind of a goofy concept, but I actually got these to wear while playing video games. The wrist weights strap on securely and fit comfortably while allow you to use your hands, finger, arms, and wrists. I sweat under them, but I think that's going to happen with anything like this. I position the gap down, and the weights hang comfortably over my wrists - I don't even have to tighten the strap too tight. Note this product seems to be filed under video games, so while submitting this review, the systems ask me to rank the product with stars, and then to rank how 'fun is this game,' also in stars. Weights are not fun.
These are nice ankle and wrist weights, though I will look for something a bit heavier for my ankles to really increase the workout from stepping. I have average size wrists for a woman, and they are a tiny bit loose when pulled tight but still fine to use for cardio boxing on the Wii. They definitely increase the workout from boxing! For small wrists, they may not be tight enough, even when pulled very tight. I found them too heavy to wear comfortably for Wii tennis or table tennis. - Excercise Equipment - Weights - Wrist Weights - Micro Wrist Weights'

Single-handle Faucets - danze kitchen faucet, pull down faucets
I have Kohler, Grohe and Jado faucets in my house. This faucet is a high quality faucet that has a nice commercal look to it. The price was great compared to the higher end faucets out there and it was a snap to install. I installed it in my laundry sink. When my wife saw it and tried it, she asked me to put in in the kitchen sink where I have a Grohe which cost me 3 times more. Its worth the money, these guys make a nice quality product. First off it arrived a week late. I had to contact the seller to ask where it was, but to be fair they did reply and then ship quick. I spent the rest of the evening searching the net for drivers etc, found some but still no joy. The following day I decided to try out on work desk top again, this time not recognized. Lens Cover - 52mm, nikon
This fits the lens that comes with most Nikon kits. If you need a replacement for your Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II AF-S DX Nikkor Zoom Lens this is it. The lens ships with D40 and D40x kits (among others) and should include this cap.
The easiest way to see which lens cap you need is to look at the number on the back of the cap, which pretty obvious but I almost overlooked it. Mine says LC-52 52mm. If you've lost yours you can measure the front of your lens. Nikon's more common ones are 52mm, 62mm, 72mm, and 77mm, so the only ones you'll have to measure precisely are the 72 & 77's.
The cap fits super tight if put on correctly, but sometimes, if I put it on quickly, it doesn't line up right on my lens. Somehow I've managed to make it peel up the inner plastic ring right by the lens where it says AF-S DX Nikkor. The impression it left is of the exact shape of the moving parts on the cap. The lens still works perfectly but I'm really annoyed. I can't take a star for that because this is the best cover I've ever owned, but it should be noted that double checking that it's on all the way is recommended. There is a picture of the damaged lens and back of cap in the "Customer Images" on the product page. :)
Amazon's list price is about 15 bucks and there are way cheaper caps out there, but these are really worth it, especially when you've got more expensive glass. Plus they sell for less than half that normally...just be careful with it. Nikon LC-52 Snap on Front Lens Cap
It has been a life long goal of mine to write a review of a Nikon lens cap purchased from Amazon.
Today I'm fulfilling this goal. I'm quite pleased it is a positive review.
I would suggest you purchase at least 2 or more when you buy them. The shipping is the same and you know you will eventually loose this one too.
I bought this from cowboystudio, because it was slightly cheaper than the other available 3rd party vendors (amazon.com was not an available vendor). Turns out they sent a fake. I know it is a fake because I have other copies of this same lens cover and the lens cover sent by cowboystudio is clearly of lesser quality. It works but it is not as nice as a Nikon original.
Do not buy from cowboystudio. Choose some other vendor.
Nikon lens caps are the best on the market. The are hold securely, don't release accidentally, and are cheap, too. If you have another brand of camera, just use a marker to black out the Nikon logo :)
This is a genuine Nikon lens cap. It is not a knock-off. The center pinch design fits my Nikon 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras perfectly (when I lost it somewhere taking photos last weekend). Obviously, it CAN fall off (I lost mine), but maybe I didn't have it on 100% correctly. Sometimes if not seated perfectly, it can click off - which must have happened to me.
Please be cautious that you buy the right size. This is a 52mm, which will fit the kit Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II AF-S DX Nikkor Zoom Lens.
This lens cap was bought for a lens that I had bought second hand that didn't come with one. This is exactly like the lens cap that came with my kit lens. Side by side, you cannot tell they are different, and they both work on my lenses, even with the filters on them. I bought a cheap generic one from my local camera store and that one wouldn't stay put. This authentic one however, does stay put.
I'm very happy with it.
Make sure you know the exact size of the lens cap you need. I made this mistake and had to mail the original cap back and order the correct one. It was a hassle but it was my own fault - I am satisfied with the order though. - 18-55mm - Lens Cover - Nikon - 52mm'

Office Electronics - accurate, shipping scale
Very simple, works great. There are only two options, one to change from lb to kg and one to tare the scale. The only downside is that once you put something on the scale, after a couple seconds it locks the reading so you can view it even after you take the item off the scale. This is helpful for large items that block the display, however for smaller items that you want to measure one right after the other, you have to wait a few seconds for the display to unlock and go back to zero. there is no button to unlock/reset the reading, you just have to sit and wait or turn the scale off and then back on. 75# Digital Postage Scale
I LOVE it!! Just the right size, good looking, blends well with my home office decor. Works well and is always within .1 oz of what the postal meter is at the Post Office. Use it every day. No complaints here!!
This weight machine is great for those looking to weigh packages to get accurate shipping costs. I haven't tested it's max load of 75 pounds, but I can tell you it's accurate down to the ounce. I believe it's +/- .2oz accurate and I haven't had any problems with the post office saying my weight is off. The only feature I kind of hate is the read lock feature. It displays the weight of the item that you just weight for a couple of seconds. Sometimes when you in a hurry and weighing multiple packages, this can be bother some to click a button to reset the weight again, but not a show stopper.
I got the item on sale, at about $30, so it was a great bargain. Don't know if I would pay the full $82 for it though. It's nice, but for that price it better tape up my boxes too!
works as advertised. Accurate weights, weight is right with what the post office scale says. Weigh your packages and know how much postage before you take it to the post office. I especially like being able to weigh an over-size package, remove it from the scale and still have time to read the weight before the display clears. Good bargain for the money.
I was excited when it arrived. Finally I don't have to use a body weight scale to weigh all my shipment. However, after I tried it to weigh the same thing for several times, I was disappointed. One time ,I get 10.4, 10.2, and 9.8oz!
This is a great little postal scale! Comes ready-to-go with battery and AC Adaptor - right out of the box. Great Value. Very Accurate and easy to use. Incredibly weighs from .2 ounces to 75 lbs. If you need accurate weights for postage, or UPS or Fedex shipping - and you want it for a great price - then you will love this scale. I rate this product 5 Stars!
I am shipping packages weekly. Since I printed the label on USPS website,
I need a postal scale at home. This one is rather inexpensive.
When it first arrived, I tested it using the battery power, and
it did not work properly. It may due to the level of power in the
battery. Then I tried the plug-in power supply and it worked fine.
After I printed the label and took the package to the post office,
it did happen once that the weight measured by the scale is less than
that in the post office. But other times were OK.
I think that it is a good purchase if you do not use it a lot,
since the price is right.
I bought this for a friend who sells online. She and her husband sell large and small items, and needed a scale that could weigh a fair amount. I liked this because it has a hold feature, where she can weigh large boxes, take them off, and the weight stays displayed for a while. I have a smaller version of this scale, and I'm happy with the quality of it. I used it to check out the calibration of this scale by weighing items on both, and it was right on.
Just received this product.
2 disappointments right out of the box.
1- the LIFETIME Warrantee is really just one year. Exact wording: "This product is hereby guaranteed against defective materials and/or manufacturing faults for LIFETIME. Weighmax will repair or replace products ONE YEAR from the date of your purchase without additional charges. We will only charge you the cost to repair or replace your products after the first year." LIFETIME warranty? You decide.
2 - you have to calibrate it using a 75 lb weight.
does seem to be consistant at being off the .2 oz it says is the variance. not once has it been right on even with the 75 lb weight right after calibration. - Digital Scale Tare Accurate - Accurate - Postal Scale - Shipping Scale'

Yoga Block - manduka, yoga
After buying the Manduka mat, which I am still hesitant to take out of the house to the yoga studio, lest I get dirt or scratches on it (yes I know, overkill for home practice), I love the block just as much. I use it to get into Pincha Mayurasana and it is sturdy, the texture feels soft against my fingers, the frog mark is cute and the color is wonderful. There is a certain energy or feel about the block, and I know this sounds very strange, but I am drawn to my mat more to practice yoga with it. I love this far above the small, foamy material cheap standard yoga blocks and it is well worth the extra bucks. Quality matters! Manduka Cork Block
I bought a cork block for two reason. First, I thought it would be more hygenic to have my own block (instead of using the ones that hundreds of other people use in a hot yoga class). And second, because it is made of cork, which is a renewal plant (well, tree) product. I like the block a lot. It's a great size and the rounded edges are great. There is no big logo or words or anything big and distracting like that on the block, which is also nice. The one drawback is that it is quite heavy. I use it at home and I will probably take it to classes as well but the weight has me already wondering if I really will do that. If you are getting a block for home or personal use, this would be a great choice! I think it would also be a good choice for a friend who does yoga.
Very stable, a great assistant for balancing poses. The reason I knocked a star down is because it is extremely dense and very hard. I find it uncomfortable for almost all other types of use. I have two of them, and I use them regularly but I don't like to use them in Yin yoga. Just something to consider....
I struggled in finding blocks for my home practice. Though I love good wood blocks for stability, I wanted something that was a bit lighter in weight for travel to work. I looked at bamboo, but they were not much lighter than wood (though certainly more environmental depending upon the type of wood block). I have had foam blocks and never been pleased with the feel.
I LOVE these blocks--they are lighter weight yet stable in my poses. The edges are rounded and pleasing in my hands. They also have a bit of 'give' to them, though not so much to cause instability.
I've purchased other Manduka products, and though a bit more expensive, the quality is excellent. These cork blocks are top of my list for being pleased with a product.
I purchased this block along with my BlackMatPRO yoga mat and I'm glad I did. What got me into buying Manduka was doing Yoga X from P90X. I was using the Harbinger mat before but, it kept moving around when doing the warrior postures and when I sweat I would slip all over the place. Both Manduka mat and block helped me improve my yoga postures because they allowed me to be more sturdy and not slip when I sweat a little. The block in particular was very useful, there's a move called warrior 3 and it's the hardest balance posture in my opinion and the cork block really helped in keeping my balance up until I could ween myself off it. The reason I gave it a 4 star and not a 5 is because of the material, while cork feels very sturdy and nice to touch it shaves off little flakes when using it. This is not a deal breaker but, it's something to consider as you will have clean off your mat a bit. So if your a big Yoga person or your doing P90X(Tony Horton uses Manduka for his Yoga) and you need a little extra help in the balance department or you need it for more advance stretch moves I highly recommend this block along with the BlackMatPRO.
The block is much better than the photo.
You can really tell the quality is there with the density of the block it self and the shape is right on.
If you use one of these I am sure you will like it.
Just purchased two of these yoga blocks from Manduka's website on Black Friday, and they arrived tonight. First impression is that they are going to be comfortable to use. They've got rounded edges and have a good feel and weight to them. The cork is nice because it has a little give/cushion to it and it grips just about any surface you place it on. I have yet to try these out in an actual yoga session because I've only had them about an hour, but I'll update my review once I've done so. The only thing I really can't say I like about them, is that they smell like a mildewy basement... almost as if they were damp and actually WERE mildewy (I don't see any growing on the blocks though). Anyways, I'm hoping this scent and dampness will go away after I've used the blocks a few days. I might put them near a register vent or by a sunny window to encourage them. Who knows, maybe that's what fresh cork is supposed to be like.
This is a comfortable block. The feel of the cork is exquisite (did I really just type that?). It is not extremely heavy but it's not light either. It will stay in place when doing your poses. Would buy again. Great stuff from Manduka.
I am a Yoga & Pilates student and was introduced to the many uses to be made of a block in my practice. This wonderful cork block is a luxurious addition to my home practice - treat yourself to a stable, heavy, comfortable, natural product. - Yoga Tools - Cork - Yoga - Manduka'

Concrete Countertop - polisher, wet polisher
The seller is fine, and sells decent products, but the dry diamond polishing pads are extremely thin. The quantity of diamond abrasive is amazingly low, which is even stranger if you consider this is a dry polishing pad (and therefore designed to be worn out faster than a wet one). I purchased two, which looked completely different when they arrived, and one wore out immediately (it shredded apart. Seriously) and the other wore out after maybe 45 minutes of mild use.
So, 2 stars, not one, because they were very cheap and arrived rapidly. Dry 4" Diamond Polishing Pad, Grit #50 - Concrete - Wet Polisher - Polisher - Polishing Granite And Marble'
