Ipod Nano - ipod accessories, apple

I just had a car charger for my ipod and I wasn't always using my ipod in the car so I bought this charger to plug into an outlet wherever I go. Its great. Small and compact so it packs quickly and easily when I pack up and go. I got it quickly and was happy with it when I got it and am still happy with it. Travel/ Wall Charger w/ IC Chip for Apple iPod 3G / 4G / Video / iPod Mini / iPod Nano , White

I got this product a while ago and I am still happy with it. It's great because number 1: It's cheap number 2: It charges my iPod faster then it would if I hooked it up to my computer number 3: it's great for traveling. Don't get it from Amazon, though, what they charge for shipping is outrageous. I suggest going to a store called Five Below, where they sell this same product for $4. I have bought and recieved the iPod with video two weeks ago. The charger worked well with this. 3 minutes, and it's fully charged. I highly recommend this for anyone with an iPod.

I'm so glad I DIDN'T give Apple $30 for the charger that should have come with the ipod nano! I was so mad that they treated their customers so poorly I refused to buy the charger from them. So after reading a lot of reviews on a few different chargers I picked this one. I'm really happy with it. It fully charged my ipod nano in no time at all, especially compared to charging it on my laptop. For the price you can't beat it and the shipping was pretty fast. Great product, low price :)

Regarding this iPod wall charger...

--- I wondered why the same product kept coming up with different prices. Maybe because they want to hide poor reviews and keep starting fresh? The first time I plugged it into my iPod, for a few minutes the backlight of the iPod turned on, but not the text. Then the light went off and I was not able to get the iPod to respond again for two hours. It was dead. I made sure the lock switch was off, I tried to reset, I plugged it in using the Apple brand charger that has been working fine...but nothing worked. It was gone.

--- Perhaps it was a coincidence that, despite the iPod working fine for two years (including a couple of hours on a flight just yesterday), the first time I plugged it in to charge with this product, it died. However, it also seems possible that this product provided the wrong electrical supply to the iPod and fried it, at least temporarily. I don't feel like trying it on other iPods to test this theory, though.

--- I thought I was getting a good deal by buying this for 1 cent and paying $4.99 shipping and handling. Now I realize the ploy - there is no reason to return it for a $0.01 refund, and shipping is not refunded.

--- I urge people to avoid this product.

The most alluring aspect of this product is the price, and some good reveiws. All the good ones come from folks who have owned it for a short period of time.I have had this for 3 months now and have stopped using it after 10 days because 1)drastically reduced battery life 2)damage to the screen(30GB 2nd gen ipod). Avoid this product.

I was looking for a small, convenient charger for my son's iPod mini. This product is exactly as described. The price was right and delivery was extremely fast. I would definietly recommend buying this product.

I purchased this charger to replace my original that came with my iPhone 3G. I had it a week, worked fine, then magically stopped working. The quality of the charger is cheap plastic. If you're looking for a charger that only lasts a week, it's a great buy. Other than that, it's a piece of crap. Don't waste your time. - Avoid - Apple - Charger - Ipod Accessories'

Battery - alkaline batteries, aa battery

I was so excited to see such cheap batteries...well, you get what you pay for. I put 4 of these into my digital camera and about 2 pictures later, got the low battery icon.

Tried 4 others, same thing.

Returned these immediately. Amazon is great with accepting returns, but don't bother buying these. They are useless. UPG D5322/D5922 Super Heavy-Duty Battery Value Box (AA; 50 pk)

I expected these batteries to be a little less quality than "name-brand", but they were extremely poor! I used them in a camera and a flash light. The perfomance was pathetic! Life was only %20 of other brands. Do not purchase from this cheap, false claim company. "super heavy duty" - what a lie. very unhappy.

I am not sure what all the fuss is about, I got a pack of these batteries before Christmas and they work fine for most items. In a digital camera, rechargeable batteries seem to work the best for me. These batteries are fine for toys, portable video camera and other everyday household items. If you need a high power battery for upper level electronics, these are not the way to go.

Figured that with 50 batteries even if they didn't last quite as long it would be OK. Figured wrong. New set of batteries last 3 to 6 pictures then get battery exhausted message. Too little life to shut the camera down. Have to remove batteries and start over. Same results with several tries, gave up and bought some rechargables

Dave B.

These batteries don't last. I bought them for my Apple bluetooth keyboard, mouse, our remote controls, and children's toys, and they need to be replaced *constantly*. I'm changing them in the remote controls at least once a month, and that's with only light use. What a waste of resources and of money.

We're always running out of batteries and I got sick of paying retail for them. I figured with the low price and off brand if I could get half working I'd be ahead. To my surprise they work just as well as the major brands and I haven't had any "duds". - Alkaline Batteries - Aa Batteries - Aa Battery - Battery'

Dry Erase

These are the only dry erase pens that I have found that can be left on a board for several days, or weeks, and still wipe cleanly off. Other pens leave nasty smears. It usually isn't the board, but the markers. Expo Low Odor Dry Erase Pen-Style Markers, 8 Colored Markers (86601)

I use dry-erase boards often and have been very unhappy with most pens. I have no idea why they even make those pale yellow and light pink markers and such. If you can't see the writing, they're worthless. These are very visible. Making packs of the bold colors is a GREAT idea. I've bought them before and these are great. Expo pens seem to last forever, too. This is a great product, and I'll buy it again.

My kids are now 5 and 2.5 years old, but I have used these Expo dry erase markers since they were 1 year old.

For kids you want to use the thin ones so their small hands can grip them. The other bigger kind it too bulky for them.

I teach them drawing and letter and number writing on white boards and books made for dry erase markers. I also highly recommend the use of white boards with the full and dotted lines that guide children writing. I also use regular pencils, but I and they love the dry erase markers where they can easily erase and retry.

I wish Expo and the other dry erase manufacturers would come up with an invention to remind kids to put back the cap on the marker after each use!'

Stretching - mat, yoga

A yoga mat is really the only thing that you tend to use on every yoga workout. It cushions your feet and gives you stability during some of the stretching moves. This mat is a full 1/4" thick and provides great cushion for your yoga routines.

First, a note about all yoga mats. Because of what they are made of, they tend to have a chemical type of smell when you first get them. This is normal! You simply air them out for a few days, perhaps wipe them down with soap and water, and this will dissipate. It's like breaking in a new pair of boots - you have to go through that initial phase.

I found the mat to be really wonderful. It is cushiony enough that it supports me in a variety of poses, whether I'm standing, kneeling, laying down, stretching. It is far better than doing yoga on a bare floor - whether that might be wood, stone, carpet or whatever. The cushion is really important for many poses.

Even though it has that nice cushion, it is also stable too. You feel quite firmly planted when you are doing balancing positions. It's not like you are trying to balance on top of a trampoline.

The mat is a good middle ground between "resistant to sliding" and "too sticky". You can readjust your feet when you need to - but if you want to plant your hands, it helps keep your hands in place.

I also really like that the mats comes in a wide variety of colors. People are more likely to exercise if they really like their exercise equipment. If you love green, go for green. I got the light lavender and really like it. To me it is calming and relaxing. Whatever color energizes or relaxes you, you probably can find it here.

The mat might be a little bulky to carry around with you, but you can get a lighter mat for use when you travel. This one is just perfect as an at-home mat, to really give you a solid base for whatever level of yoga you are currently at.

Highly recommended! YogaAccessories (TM) 1/4'' Extra Thick High Density Yoga Mat (Phthalate Free) - Dark Purple

The thickness of this mat is very comfortable. It's much better than the 1/8" mat which I find it too thin. This 1/4" mat gives me enough padding when I sit, and it doesn't throw me off balance when I stand. I also like the length of this mat which is 4" longer than the standard size mat. It's so good to have so much room to stretch when I lay down. Item arrived within the delivery estimate time. Very prompt service.

I am a daily yoga practitioner who purchased two of these mats in different colors. I was looking for a bargain, and I was encouraged by the high customer ratings. I am very disappointed. First of all, Yoga Accessories did not send me the items until 3+ weeks after I had ordered them. I had to write two e-mails to them. I received replies that they were sorry, they had been meaning to write me and tell me that the colors I had wanted were out of stock and did I want to select other colors. Then, when I did that and finally received the mats, they had a sharp, unpleasant chemical odor that has failed to disappear even after many days of use. This is bothersome during yoga, and I have to light several scented candles and incense sticks to mask the odor.

Perhaps WORST of all, the mats are not sufficiently sticky to hold asanas. For example, my hands slide 1 mm per second in correct Downward Facing Dog pose. It should be noted that I do not have sweaty hands and never have. This is very frustrating because this slippery mat basically defeats the purpose of what it was created for: proper positioning and hold of yoga poses. I have not had this problem with other mats for which I have paid slightly more money.

The only advertising that is true is that the mat is, indeed, slightly thicker than other mats I have owned. But that really doesn't make much of a difference if one cannot hold a pose on the mat.

Despite my correct usage and storage of it, I absolutely do not recommend this product. Find a better quality yoga mat if you need the mat for actual yoga. This one might be appropriate only for other sports like aerobics or jumping rope. I almost hurt myself slipping out of a pose on this mat.

Wow, I couldn't believe how terrible this mat smelled when it arrived. I almost returned it also. Thanks to Google, I figured out that some lemon juice and soap and hanging it up for a while could get the mat less smelly in less time.

I can't believe what a difference the thickness makes when compared to a mat of regular thickness. My wrists, my back and knees are much happier. I highly recommend this mat.

very nice product - very cushion-y. the only reason i gave it a 4 was the chemical smell when it was new. however, i hung it over the bannister for about 5 days and the smell disappeared. this is a satisfying product.

I read reviews & was a bit hesitant re smell. However, I ordered & am so glad. I'm only 5'4" but really appreciated the size--don't have to shift around so much between postures. I ordered burgundy, which is more of a muddy plum, & maybe the color dye has something to do with smell, cuz I don't find mine bad at all. It's just a tiny bit smelly with face to mat. But what does one expect with artificial materials? Only drawback is that it's more bulky due to size, and rolls to just short of 5" diameter, but the comfort is worth it. I've used for several months, & all is well. Buy & enjoy!

I was very disappointed, not in the cushioning value of this mat, which was very good, but rather that it smelled so bad. When I unwrapped it, I had to air it out. Even after 2 weeks airing, the smell was not gone, and the first time I used it in practice, after 10 minutes, I had to stop and take it out of the room. The smell literally made me ill.

NOTE: 8/16/07, THE SMELL THAT BOTHERED ME HAS DISAPPEARED. NOW I WANT TO GIVE THIS PRODUCT FIVE STARS *****. - Yoga - Mats - Mat - Exercise'

Inkjet Printer Ink - mp620, cannon ink

I picked up a Canon MP620 as a new all-in-one for my printing needs at college. I prefer having paper in my hands to read assignments; it's easier to read than a computer screen and it gives me the ability to highlight important points. My Epson Stylus CX6000 wasn't getting the job done; the ink "ran out" too fast.

After printing about 350 pages or so in a month's worth of mostly black and white printing (yeah, it's a lot!), the Canon MP620 started to complain about running out of the PGI-220 ink. I rushed to buy this cartridge, fearing that I might run out of ink before it arrived. Well, it "ran out" soon after I got the cartridge. And... it's still printing just fine.

A great thing about the printer this ink cartridge runs on: you have the option to keep printing even after the cartridge's microchip estimates that the ink has run out. My old Epson printer did not give me that option, even though I knew ink was still left inside. 100 pages after "running out," the old cartridge is still running strong; I haven't even opened the replacement yet!

Long story short, you're definitely getting more out of your cartridge here than the microchip tells you. Just keep printing until it no longer prints! It's safe to say that you can get at least 500 pages out of this black cartridge, easy! The price you pay is nothing compared to the mileage you get out of this cartridge. Great value! Canon PGI-220 Ink Tank (Black) in Retail Packaging

I use this ink for my MX860, and I love how it has a clear body. When your printer says there is no ink left, there is NO INK! I never see a single drop left over from a used up cartridge. Also, I like Canon inks because they come with an LED that manually tells you how much ink is left. If the red LED blinks rapidly, then it means that there is no ink left. If is blinks intermittently, it is saying that there is less than 50% left.

I am the satisfied owner of two canon printers (Pro9000 and MP620) and am a relatively low volume, high quality printer user. I can't add anything specific regarding the quality or longevity of this ink, however I would like to point out that while the price is less on Amazon, Staples does have a very nice recycling program for used ink cartridges of all types. I would say that tossing these when they are empty may not be inline with Amazon's new greener packaging initiative, and return mailers (uninsured, and not tracked) may be a cost-effective way to improve overall user experience for this product.

I bought this ink because in the item, Amazon provides a drop down of printers that this ink cartridge works with. According to that drop down selector, it would fit my printer. I got the ink today, opened it up to put it in, and guess what? It doesn't fit. Now, because I have opened the item, I can't return it. I am very frustrated and wasted $15.

I bought this print cartridge as a refill for my Canon MP560. My favorite thing is that the printer has two black cartridges - one for photos and one for everyday text printing. This is much cheaper then my previous printer, as buying this cartridge allows me to spend less on the ink that I use the most. The cartridge is easy to install. Also, the Canon cartridges allow you to use them until they are truly empty, compared to the printers that have a set number of pages that they quit working at. I printed a good number of text pages with this cartridge and overall I'm very happy with the value.

If you're like me, running your Canon printer on a Mac, you can save yourself a lot of headaches by setting your printing to Greyscale under the "quality" settings when you go to print something. These tanks last a while, unlike the color ones.

I could have gotten it cheaper at Walmart, but who really wants to venture in to the wild wild Walmart when I can get it for a buck fifty more from the comfort of my own lazyboy? It lasts long enough to keep me happy, it's easy to use, and other than the buck fifty more than the same product at Walmart, I can't complain... and for me that's saying a lot. I complain about everything. - Mp620 - Canon Black Ink - Ink Cartridge - Cannon Ink'

Nuvi Dashboard Mount - nuvi dashboard mount, garmin nuvi

After doing hours of research for a dash mount for my Garmin Nuvi 205w, I decided to give this one a try, and so glad that I did. I looked at the bean bag one and this one, and really wanted a smaller footprint and less bulky mount to put up on my dash. I was concerned about this mount and it rolling, flipping, or tumbling off the dash. To my surprise and delight it never moved !! I have tried it in both of our cars, even used it in the van for our vacation. Fits all three and sits there holding it's position. Some have made notes about a residue that is left behind, I experienced this in 2 of our vehicles, but when I cleaned the car and wiped the dash down, the `residue' was gone. Most likely from the silicone bottom on the mount that holds it in place. Love the flexibility and the fact that you can bent this mount to contour to your dash, and then the swivel mount allows you to adjust the Garmin to see it at any angle. Mounted in my car I took a few corners hard to try and tumble the mount w/ the Garmin, but no luck, it just sat there telling me where to go "literally". Granted I am sure you can tumble it of the dash if you hit a hard core bump or drive erratically, but everyday driving & circumstances it does it's job. If the bottom silicone gets icky from lint, dirt, debris, all you have to do is wipe it down with a cloth and good as new !!

Love the look, the small foot print, and the flexibility. I would recommend this mount to anyone that is looking for a more stylish, but completely functional dash mount, that can go with you most anywhere and in any vehicle.

Loving my Garmin Mount & Garmin Nuvi 205W... Garmin Portable Friction Dashboard Mount

I already have the "bean bag" mount and was glad to see this new, updated design, so I ordered. It does look more "factory". Was unpleasantly surprised when it arrived. The main upper portion is a pliable plastic that molds to the contours of your dash. The bottom, though, is a strange feeling silicone, that leaves your fingers feeling like you just handled a silicone spray or lubricant. Right on the packaging, but hidden from view until you remove the mount, is a message about cleaning residue left behind on your dash. Indeed, it even left an imprint mark on my kitchen counter while I was reading the packaging! Who wants to clean up a silicone stain every time you use it. I've already sent it back and will stick with the bean bag.

Got it to replace the Garmin bean bag friction mount. The base of this unit allows twisting to conform to the curves and contour of the dash.

This base will not move on the dash as it has a "sticky" base, however, the base and the mounted GPS toppled and rolled off my dash and landed on the front passenger seat when I cornered at moderate speed.

So while it won't slide, it can fly!

I was skeptical about buying this product at first. When I got it I was even more doubtful that it would work well since it was so light weight and small. How could this stay in place? Boy was I wrong. The rubber has a piece of metal in it so you can mold it to the dash board. The backing is just like one of those rubber lint rollers with a tacky side. I took really hard turns on exit ramps and it did not fall over. It holds in place solid. I did get a residual wet mark on the dash board kind of like when you use armour all and do not blend it in well. It does just wipe off with the palm of your hand though. I would recommend placing it in a zip lock bag or something when you take it down so it does not collect junk from under the seat. Clean up is easy with just soapy water and let air dry when too much dust accumulates. This is better than the bean bag.

I would also like to add that the reviewers saying this product falls off their dash is most likely because they do not clean their dashboard. Just like a lint brush, you must remove the lint for it to work!

I almost returned this item as I thought it was too unstable with my Nuvi 255WT. While driving on normal roads, I noticed the GPS was shaking to the point that navigating with it became downright annoying. I found the problem to be the rear of the flexible/sticky base where the mounting arm is attached. While the front of the base stayed firmly in place, the rear could twist up slightly from side to side resulting in the GPS shake I was experiencing. I believe this is because the rear of the base is more narrow than the front and therefore not as stable. For comparison, I switched back to my old Garmin sandbag mount and there was absolutely no shaking with that one. But, I really liked the looks, lower profile and better non-slip design of the friction mount and decided to work with it a bit more. Fortunately, I found that I could eliminate the shaking by pressing one/both bottom corners of the GPS unit into contact with the rubber base. This worked perfectly and with the shaking gone, and that sticky base stuck to the dash, my GPS has never felt more secure (better than the sandbag). I would definitely recommend this mount to others and if you experience the shaking problem, just try the tip I mentioned above.

Until I purchased this mount I only used the Garmin on road trips, now I used it almost all the time. It is almost like having a built in GPS. It sits on top of the dashboard, you just place where you want it and it stays, no suction cup needed. When you leave the car just place it on the floor out of sight with the GPS in place. I can program it while holding it close instead of reaching over the dashboard to the GPS mounted on the windshield. If you have a portable Garmin GPS this is the way to go.

This is a road warrior's dream. Garmin thought through the movable dash mount very carefully with this product.

I've travelled (airplanes to rental cars) for a few years with the Garmin bean bag mount Garmin Portable Friction Mount [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging]. It's kind of a pain in the neck, you have to remove the arm completely, find a place to store that, and then find a place where that bean bag won't get all bent up. When you arrive, assemble all that junk and toss it on the dash.

This mount is simplicity and designed around tossing it in a carryon bag. The rubber / silicone base is about the diameter of a CD with an extesion about 1/2 that size. So it's compact. The arm for mounting the GPS folds almost completely flat. So the whole thing transports very easily.

Mounted on the dash, simply bend the pliable rubber base to conform to the dash, flip the arm up, snap in your GPS, and you're good to go. This thing holds the dash as well as the beanbags. No the GPS doesn't fly all over any more than it does with the beanbag.

And the base is some kind of strange material like a post it note. It does feel weird and smells odd the first few days. Any residue - no not happening. It sits on a Mercedes dash with no fear that it will ruin my dash.

This is a much more portable and solid version of a removable dash mount, than the beanbags. The pictures don't do it justice. - Gps Mount - Garmin Nuvi - Nuvi Dashboard Mount - Friction Mount'
