Amazon Digital Services - fire, android
When I bought it I was afraid it would look too 17-year-old-boyish but it actually feels more reserved. Still wouldn't advertise this to anyone over 40, but it's very clean and slick with a slightly contemporary feel. I've owned a USN peacoat before (which I lost somehow) and the wool was scratchy to the point I had to wear a scarf, but this wool is very soft. Size seems to run just fine, it fits on me snugly with a couple of layers underneath. Haven't worn it into the cold yet, but it's very heavy and feels like it could be worn in the cold just by trying it on. Feels pretty well-made. Gps Carrying Case - gps, garmin nuvi 265wt
Nice little case for the price. It holds my Garmin 265WT very nicely with its snap-on swivel adapter still attached. The exterior vinyl case is very stiff to mitigate the potential of crushing damage to the GPS. The interior of the case is lined with fabric to minimize scratching damage. The case zipper works fine. And it comes with a little carry strap too. Again, very nice for the price. 4.3" EVA Case for Garmin Nuvi 265wt 1300 1350 1370t GPS
The EVA case is a perfect fit for my nüvi 765T even though the product title says it's for the nüvi 265WT, 1300, 1350, and 1370T. The hard exterior provides very good protection for my nüvi. Its interior is lined with a velvety fabric that won't scratch the nüvi.
I love that it's so compact -- it's not very much bigger than my nüvi (which measures 4.8 x 0.8 x 3 inches). It is a sturdy, well-made, and high quality case. I couldn't be more happy with it. Recommended.
This a perfect, rugged case to stow my GPS in purse, backpack, or luggage. It also has extra pockets for memory cards & charging cords that makes this case a perfect fit. It reminds me of my metallic-looking hard side suitcases.
I am so glad I went ahead and purchased this case for my new Garmin GPS. I have been able to keep my GPS stored safely when not in use and protected from the elements. I do not ever leave my GPS in the car when not driving due to the fact that I have heard they are a hot item for thieves. Therefore having the protective case, which is extremely durable, has been a wise investment.
The case is sturdy, but a bit big for the Garmen Nuvi 1390T, which is same size as 1370T. I bought the case so I could carry the GPS with me, and space is at a premium, so I have ended up putting this case in the drawer and buying a different one. - Gps - Garmin - Gps Case - Garmin Nuvi 265wt'

Weather Radio - jwin, am-fm
I received this radio 2 days ago and it has hardly left my side. I am teathered to a dialysis machine 9 hours a day and use it in my bed. It appears well made with sturdy controls which are not easily changed by moving around in the covers. The digital display has a white background that alternates between time and station with the touch of a button. The white light can be used as a nightlight if desired. The display can be switched on and left on if you want. The tuning and voume switches are easy to operate. There are ten preset stations available for each am and fm band. Reception seems very good and sound quality for this size radio is acceptable. Stereo can be output to headphones but the unit returns to mono when the speaker is used. Other controls are small and could be difficult for someone with large hands to operate easily. There is a lock switch which prevents the accidental operation of other controls. I find no need to use it. The display is easy to read. The printing over each of the controls is medium gray on black background, small and difficult to read but once you get to know the unit should not be a problem. An a/c adapter is included. The unit is handsome but not something to show off. It looks and works as advertised. The instruction booklet is straight forward and simple. Radio is smaller than it looks in the picture and may not be as large as you expect so check the physical dimensions. If you need a radio for personal use (in the bed, office cubicle, or on your person) this one should fill the bill. jWIN JXM122 Portable AM/FM Weather Band Radio
jWIN is known for making many low cost products that are far less than what one would hope for. But when I saw the letters DSP in an ad for it, I thought I should try it.
The cons: AM has low sensitivity and there are internally generated noises on many stations. Memories are erased when batteries are changed.
The pros: FM and NOAA weather in the same radio, with excellent reception of both. I get NOAA weather & stereo FM up to 50+ miles, with telescopic antenna fully extended. Mono FM up to 85 miles for the 100,000 watt stations. YMMV. DSP permits reception of weaker FM stations adjacent to locals that don't use IBOC. Most of the radio can squeeze into my shirt pocket. Large digital frequency display with light blue backlight.
Features: 10 AM & 10 FM presets with direct keypad entry of frequency. Digital volume control 31 steps (volume 10 is about right for all but the weakest stations, when using headphones). The built-in speaker is of course small, but has fair sound quality with good volume. Requires 3 AA batteries, I use rechargeables. Definitely glad I bought it.
This radio worked fine for a few hours, and then the digital display broke down and I could not read the time or radio band numbers. I sent it back to Amazon and it was replaced with another new one. This one works fine, except for the AM band, which does not receive ANY AM band radio stations. I am fed up and will not mess around anymore, but just live with this radio the way it is.
Just got the radio, so I don't have a batery life rating; it does work with rechargables. I got this to replace an old portable radio. For the price, this JXM122 is a very good radio with digital tuning, AM/FM (10 presets on each)and the NOAA weather band is a plus. The sound is what one would expect from a small radio, it is not a stereo system. It works as advertised. The only minuses I found are with the instruction manual. In order to save your settings you probably have to plug it in with the included power adapter while changing the batteries (3 AA's), which isn't mentioned. Nothing is in the manual about the lock switch or the mode button, but it's easy to figure out what they do. Nor is anything mentioned if when pluged in, the battery power is disengaged (I would guess it is). It has a clock display, so I don't know why it doesn't have a wake-up to radio/alarm feature. Without a wake-up feature why have a clock running and using battery power when turned off? (Hello? jWIN engineers?) Overall, this was a good buy for me and probably for you too.
Nice size, campact. Adequate sound for a small portable radio. Don't know about the battery because I haven't had it long enough. Good reception in a place that is difficult for other portables. Love the digital tuning and scan. Excellent for the price.
I love radio and radios and I have a lot of them. The jWin JXM122 is one of my favorites for several reasons, the first being the reception. It recieves the nationl weather service broadcast clearly even with the antenna down. I've bought radios for over $100.00 that would not recieve the weather broadcast with three feet of antenna pulled up. Most of my weather radios recieve the NOAA station with a fair amount of static but this radio is nearly crystal clear. Also the size is nice. It's not too big and not too small. The backlight is very bright and the numbers are large and easy to see. The AM and FM bands are just fine and the controls are easy to use. It's nice to have presets. It's good looking and I like the styling. It looks like a much more expensive radio. The construction is good. Battery life is a bit better than average though I usually use the AC adapter that is included. I've had it about a year and it has not given me any problems. Great radio for the price. - Portable Radio - Jwin - Am-fm - Weather Radio'

Computer Cables - misleading, pc vga to tv converter
This cable will not and is not supposed to connect a pc/mac/desktop/laptop to a TV.
even if you have TV out capabilities on your video card and the software to support it, this product will not work! It is not meant to link a computer to a TV.
do not buy this product if you are trying to hook up your computer to your TV. It will not work.
With out even trying it out, you can tell it will not work simply because the RCA cables have all 3 components two of which are audio! your VGA port on your computer is video only! this product is extremely misleading and is very attractive due to the price. Do not be fooled and do not waste your money!
you have been warned. VGA Adapter to TV S-Video RCA Out Cable for PC Video
Despite the negative reviews I bought one of these. I thought, "These people probably don't know what they're doing I'll be fine." I tried the cable with my laptop which was the reason I bought it and, like others, my laptop said it couldn't find an external monitor. I have used the vga on my monitor to connect directly to my HDTV before just fine so I knew it should work. I tried using the s-video end as well as the RCA end (trying both the yellow cable and connecting all three despite the fact that VGA doesn't transmit audio) both with no luck.
The only 5 star review for this product says that you need to support TV Out (my laptop does) and that you need software (my laptop should). Taking my testing one step further I tried to use this product with my GTX260 a fairly new graphics card on my desktop computer and it still did not work.
I think I can confidently say that this product (and possibly all similar products) does not work. There are only two slightly positive reviews for this product and neither of them provide any form of helpful information for how to get it to work. I think amazon should remove the product from the website as it does not work for the majority of purchasers, if at all.
Ok first of all this product is only to hook something up to a computer monitor. If you think you can use this to hook up your computer to your tv your wrong and you need to look at the converters. It works wonders for what it was designed to do and I use it every time I play my xbox. Honestly nothing is better then having monitors hooked up instead of buying a second or third tv to play video games while someone is watching tv.
I bought this too thinking it SHOULD work for me. My purpose was to use it to hook up my PS2 to my VGA monitor.
as the title says its disappointing. The monitor did not detect VGA connection at all. If you are planning to use this to hook up your game console, this is not an answer.
I got this so that i could plug it into my laptop and use it on my tv. It did not work. I did some research and think I found that you have to have a laptop or w/e designed to use something like this. I thought mine should because it is an entertainment notebook from hp, but it doesnt.
BE CAREFUL BEFORE BUYING.
It may or may not work with what you want it to. Make sure it will with what you want it too before buying.
I bought this hoping to connect a Playstation 2 to some old monitor I had lying around. Didn't work. People are also saying you can't connect a PC to a TV with it either. So I must ask, what's the point?
The product description here looks pretty straightforward. "VGA Adapter to TV S-Video RCA Out Cable for PC Video" seems to imply that this would be used to send a video signal from a PC to a television screen. The reviews seem to say that this does not work.
At least one review said the adapter worked for the purpose of sending a video signal from a game console (Xbox 360) to a computer screen, which is what I wanted to do and the reason I bought this. However, I am unable to use this cable in either way. I tried with several consoles (NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube) to connect to my VGA monitor without success. Just to be sure, I tried to use the adapter to connect my laptop to a TV, which doesn't work either.
I'm a fairly capable guy, but I really can't tell whether I bought a junk product that does nothing or if it has some mysterious function which I haven't imagined. Searching around the internet, it seems that you need some kind of signal converter box in order to connect a RCA console to a VGA input, rather than a simple adapter plug.
I don't really know. I'm just going to call this a $7 lesson and save up for a screen with RCA inputs next time. Buyer beware, I guess, or just do more research than I did.
There is nothing wrong with this product. It's a simple cable, nothing really to screw up. But, unless you know what you're doing, you're probably buying this cable for the wrong reasons, thinking it will allow you to display a pc on another monitor or television. You need to have the right video card/hookups, capability for this to work. - Misleading - Trash - Pc Vga To Tv Converter - Useless'

Portable Dvd Player Car Case - eee pc, asus eee
My biggest difficulty in shopping for a case was finding one advertized for 10-inch players that actually fit them. Our 10-inch Toshiba fits perfectly in this case--even if the battery is attached. The main compartment is high enough to hold headphones without crushing them as well as the accessory cords and battery for our player. There is a side pocket that also has ample room for cords and a sleeve for DVDs. A previous reviewer said that this will not mount on the back headrest of his driver-side seat--I do not find such to be the case. The case includes instructions for mounting between two bucket seats or on the back headrest of one seat. A sufficiently versatile product. Case Logic WDEC-10 EVA Molded 10-Inch DVD Player Case (Black)
This case is really nice. It's fits my 10 portable dvd player and has a pretty hard shell so it keeps it from being damaged. I found the same case in walmart for half the price. You may want to shop around your local stores.
I bought this item through Amazon, shipped by Accessory Genie. This case is perfect size for the Asus laptop. There is ample room for the battery charger + power cord, along with DVD's/CD's, and my full size logitech trackball mouse. This case zips on two sides. Very well made, sturdy, with lots of padding, but remains small.
I needed a case for my Sony FX950 which is a 9" model. This case was one of the better looking ones out there if not the best looking one and the price was really good.
When I received it, the first thing that I observed before I even opened it was that it looked pretty big for a portable DVD case. It measures 13"x5"x10.5". I have a 9" model and there is so much extra space in the case. I think you could actually fit a netbook in here because you can certainly fit something a little bit bigger than a 10" model.
I am able to store my DVD player, remote, power cable, car power cable, and AV cable. There is also a slot to store several CD's. Be warned that if you are storing your cables in the zippered pouch which rests on top of the CD's once closed, you might damage them if you put pressure on the case.
I bought this to use as a case only. I don't care about the ability to hook the case up to your car to watch DVD's. That, to me, is ineffective and cumbersome.
There is nice padding on the front of the case and this is what adds to the extra bulk that I had mentioned. This case is a solution for my needs. I am able to carry my DVD player and all of it's needed accessories. If you are trying to stuff this case inside of a backpack or a small bag, it will take up most of the space.
You can carry this with the handle or you can hook up the shoulder strap or an aftermarket shoulder strap.
I give it 4 stars because it is one of the nicer looking ones out there and it does do the job. I feel that it is just too bulky for something portable. They should really concentrate on making portable DVD cases more form fitting. I did look at others and this one seemed like the best choice.
I bought 2 of theses for my kids' portable DVD players. One holds a 9 inch and the other holds a 7 inch. They both fit well and have plenty of room to hold cords and additional movies. There are straps to attach them to the vehicle headrests, but my kids would rather hold them on their laps.
I bought this bag to carry around my Asus Netbook and it's accessories around. On one side, it has a zippable pocket for the computer with two velcro straps to hold it in. Another similiar compartment on the opposite side of the bag zips open and you can keep your charger, mouse and other cables in it as well! Great, reasonably priced upgrade to the useless sleeve you get with the netbook. I highly recommend this bag for your netbook!ASUS Eee PC 1000HE 10.1-Inch Black Netbook - 9.5 Hour Battery Life
I also purchased a second bag to carry my Panasonic Toughbook in. Fits well!
I bought my son a Sony DVP-FX930 9" DVD. This case works fine as a case but its other feature as a mount leaves a lot to be desired. It consists of a series of straps you run around the seat and headrest. It is a real PIA to install and remove. I would look elsewhere if you need a case to act as a mount. If you just need a case, it is fine.
this case is fine for what it is. it is too bad that no one seems to be interested in making a quality case that protects your equipment, holds all accessories and looks good. this does that about as well as any i can find. dvd manufactureres should make their own cases to spec.
If you are looking for something to keep your dvd player from facing the elements, this case does a fine job. It mounts pretty well in the back seat, but it might take a little maneuvering with the long straps they provide. But they are adjustable. I liked the relatively hard outer shell of the case, since my 2 year old was pretty "handsy" with it for our whole trip cross country. - Asus Eee - Portable Dvd Player Car Case - Eee Pc - Portable Dvd Player Case'

Motion Detector - driveway alert, motion sensor
I bought this thing besides all the negative feedback. For 20$ its much less than the 120$ driveway alarms. the volume is a non issue; If its too loud, put a piece of tape on it. the false alarms can be 99% eliminated and fix the real issue--moisture!! Put the sensor in a 10$ cedar bird house; This keeps it from getting wet and keeps false alarms low. And it hides it from people that would take and disable it. Small animals and windy days can increase the false alarms. okay for 20$, plus 10$ for the bird house (from Lowe's) and 2 cents in tape make a great buy. The range is not 400ft more like 300ft and only one door. Driveway Patrol Sensor and Receiver Kit
I admit it -- sometimes I just forgot to check to see if the cat wanted back in. The Driveway Patrol fixed all that. Setup about a foot or less off the ground in a relatively sheltered location by the front door, it does a great job of watching the front of the driveay and the front door. I originally set the sensor up to look down the entire length of the drive but it proved much too sensitive for this to be useful so I aimed the sensor low ACROSS the driveway near the front door and this has worked out fine. It now tells me when the cat is ready to come in as well as when a pizza or package delivery has arrived.
The Driveway Patrol actually saved me quite a bit of trouble one day when I had been waiting the entire afternoon for the cable guy -- he eventually showed up late, didn't even bother to knock or ring the bell and only stayed just long enough to leave a note telling me I wasn't home. Due to the Drveway Patrol, I managed to wave him down at the end of the drive. This alone made the gadget worth the price.
As I've said, the Driveway Patrol does exactly what I need it to do. The only false alarms I get are from visiting neighbor cats, racoons and the odd bird. The only things I would change about the gadget would be to add a volume control that had more settings than 'loud' and 'very loud' and the fact that the chimes will ring continuously while being triggered and then for another 10-15 seconds beyond that.
UPDATE OF MY REVIEW DUE TO JULY 2006 HEAT WAVE: I have two of these low-cost alarms set up, and both become quite intermittent when the temperature reaches 90 degrees and above (in the shade): Sometimes they go off when a person/car goes past, and sometimes they do not. As soon as the temperature decreases though, they become much more reliable. I WOULD NOT RECOMENDED THESE DEVICES FOR SECTIONS OF THE COUNTRY WITH HOT WEATHER, SUCH AS ARIZONA, TEXAS, NEW MEXICO, ETC. Original review: I am very impressed with this alarm: It is accurately able to detect people coming up the stairs of my apartment, and sets off the indoor alarm -- and it has not sent out any false alarms (Most problems with this alarm (that I have read in the reviews below) appear to be caused by the sensor being in direct sun light. This seems to cause these units numerous difficulties, and should have been addressed in the Patrol Sensor's enclosed instructions -- but isn't. However, by simply shielding the outdoor sensor from all *direct* contact with the light of the sun by using tape or opaque plastic, or repositioning the outdoor sensor, appears to eliminate false alarms or no alarms). This alarm unit appears to be quite well made, and the price is, of course, incredibly low. Great buy!!
I have had 2 of these units for years and both work OK. I use them to monitor for people at the side door of my law office. Having had 2 of them for years I offer these tips. First, the outside motion sensor takes a 9 volt battery and you should use only lithium batteries in the outside unit as lithium batteries are not as temperature sensitive as regular batteries, which perform poorly when cold. Lithium batteries are more expensive up front but they last 5 to 7 times or more longer than a regular battery. With the inside receiver unit you can use whatever battery type you prefer or an AC/DC adapter. The inside unit needs 3 "C" size batteries. Second, some reviewers have complained that the unit goes off for no reason. We found that flying insects were setting off the unit by flying near it. My solution has been to spray flying insect killer around the unit every 2 weeks or so in the summer. That works for us. Others might want to adjust or reduce the sensitivity of the motion detector by placing black electrical or other suitable tape over the sensor window. But rest assured that if an insect flies into or on the sensor, it will set it off. That is probably true for any motion detector, no matter what the price. To be sure, there are better quality units on the market, but not at this price. Once we switched to a lithium 9 volt battery in the sensor unit and wiped out our flying insect problem about a year ago, the units have worked perfectly.
I purchased mine about 2 months ago, I was very happy with price and had read the reviews so I was prepared on how to deal with false alarms , weather ect. This product is very affordable. We placed our just under the peek of our carport, on a flat piece of metal. This protects it from the weather and is out of reach.
I like the idea of placing it in a bird house to. Would protect monitor against weather and would be be able to cover of areas without being noticed. We live in the woods at the end of our road, our neighbors drive forks off from ours on the hill just above us, I was always hearing cars but couldnt tell which way they went, since trees in our yard block the veiw I couldnt see either. We also have sneaky neighbors that I thought prowl around at night. While I would have preferred that we could have placed it further up the driveway near the fork, we felt it was safer to place it nearer our home. So I am ordering another to put on the other side of our home. Its well made too. Volume has high low setting. You can set the receiver on any flat surface or mount it. If these were offered in stores they wouldnt be able to keep them in stock, thats how good I think they are.
They also detect motion at night that really suprised me. And can be used anywhere you want to detect movement. - Motion Detector - Driveway Alert - Home Security - Motion Sensor'

Blackberry Storm Case - blackberry, 9530
The quality of this case is decent and exceeds my expection for the price. I don't think it's really "lambskin", it's probably made of synthetic leather but still looks good with BB logos on it. It does have the function of turning off screen immediately when you slide in your Blackberry, which saves some battery power. Accessing is not perfect, sometimes it's hard to pull out with the small area exposed. The belt clip seems to be sturdy enough not to be broken in a short period of time. OEM BlackBerry 9520 9530 9550 Black Synthetic Holster
This case fits my Blackberry Storm perfectly. It is compact and the leather quality is good. Belt clip is strong and can rotate any direction. It has the built-in magnet to turn of your smartphone when holstered. Professional and elegant look and feel. Top quality as expected from RIM. A great buy.
Tight fit. Had to stretch so buttons would not be pushed whilst in case.
Case plus clip seem to stick away from body more than the previous plastic holster snap in.
With phone on vibrate, one cannot feel it as well as plastic holster snap in. Can miss calls.
This is well made - and I use it when traveling.
The magnet on the cover flap is a nice feature - much better (and less noisy) than velcro.
Holster was on the tighter side when new, but with use, seems just fine.
I normally use a silicone case for my Storm but have to remove it when using this holster.
Also, cannot feel the phone vibration - but that is to be expected.
I wasn't sure what to expect for the price. I was excited when the seller get my product to me promptly. The pouch came brand new for the price. It is a wonderful product. I use it every day and have no problems. It fits the Storm perfect. Many of other pouches that I looked at in stores were two or three times the price and didn't fit just right.
This is my second pouch case purchase, the original being from Verizon. The purchase at Amazon was the same quality and performance as the first for a fraction of the cost. I have carried this pouch to the Middle East on an archeological dig in very rough conditions and used it daily for two years. The strap will wear out after a couple of years, but with intensive use, that is expected and normal. - 9530 - Blackberry - Blackberry Storm Case - Storm'

Iphone Car Charger - usb charger, iphone car charger
We own several Palm Pre's and wanted to use this dual charger to power them up in our car. Unfortunately this device can't provide sufficient power to charge 2 at once. It can charge one Palm Pre at a time, but can't charge up 2 at a time.
If you have cell phones, or devices that need 800-1,000ma each, this charger can't do it. Total power out seems to be about 800ma split between the two USB ports.
Other than being weak in the power department, the unit appears to be well constructed, it does fit 2 USB cords comfortably, and has a charge indicator light so you know when its in use. Scosche Dual USB Car Charger
This is a cheap way of charging any device that will charge via a regular USB port. I have used it in my car for several months without a problem. It did a fine job with my AT&T Tilt phone and my iPod.
Before you invest in this or any other standalone USB charger, you should make sure that your device will charge via USB cable alone. Many phones (Motorola Razr is one) these days have what looks like a standard USB connection but require special software or adapters before they will charge.
I got this for about $5 or $10 at Wal-Mart. Great investment.
Just picked up this item from Best Buy today. Had to get a charger for my car because my IPOD interface for my stereo does not charge the 3G IPHONE. :( I was initially going to get the DLO car charger for my 3G IPHONE until the cashier told me of the Scosche USB12V2 Dual USB Car Charger. It sounded ideal since my fiance and I both have a 3G IPHONE and won't have to fight for power when riding together. Ensured that I didn't get that uncompatibility error before leaving Best Buy. Left Best Buy with 80% charge and was fully charged by the time I got home in 20 minutes.
Note: Have to use your own supplied Iphone/Ipod USB cable with adapter.
Here are the electrical specifications that were shipped with the Schosche USB12V2A Dual-USB Car Charger I received:
Power input: 12-24 VDC, 1A
Power output: 5 VDC, 2A (1A per port)
Which is just what I was hoping for.
It sure would be nice if this basic information was published in the product description here on Amazon in the future!
This charger charges my iPhone 3GS without a problem. It is also compact and aesthetically appealing. I bought it so I could charge a multitude of USB-powered devices and it works for everything I've tried with the one exception:
A Garmin Nuvi cannot be charged from this device. The Garmin Nuvi thinks it's connected to the USB port of a computer and goes into a computer mode when plugged into this device. Technically, the Nuvi is charging but it can't be used in the meantime. This is most likely a shortcoming of the Garmin Nuvi than of this particular charger.
This is a great car charger. I love the flexibility of being able to plug any USB cable into it. I bought this to replace a lost car charger, and it has exceeded my expectations. I've used this product to charge: Sprint HTC Evo 4G, Sprint HTC Hero, Apple iPhone 3G, Apple iPhone 3GS, Jawbone Headset, and even an Apple iPad. I want to specifically mention the iPad, becuase most USB chargers do not work with an iPad due to its increased wattage requirements. This works flawlessly - even while charging a cell phone too!
I ordered this about a year ago form newegg for dirt cheap (it was a special deal). This charger is a piece of cake to take apart. You just unscrew the top and remove the spring and fuse and it pops apart. It charges my Sandisk Fuze without a problem. However, I recently got a Nokia N900, but this charger would not charge the phone. This is because the N900 and many other phones use the USB charging standard in which the data pins (pins 2 + 3; the middle pins) are shorted out. So I took the charger apart, took out my soldering iron, and soldered the top usb port data pins together. I put it back together and the top port now charges my phone. Also, after the "hack" it is able to charge my sister's ipod touch. Way cheaper than an expensive charger from the cell phone manufacture. See this link for more info: [...]
I wanted a car charger for my new Droid but didn't want to pay $30 at the Verizon store. I searched Amazon and stumbled on to this. I ordered it and couldn't be more satisfied with it.
The vast majority of cell phone car chargers have a non-detachable cord with a jack on the other end that plugs into your phone, and cost $20-30. If the cable or plug develops a short, you have to replace the whole thing. If you're on a road trip and have multiple devices, like a Garmin, a cell phone, an iPod, then you have to swap out the various chargers unless you're lucky enough to have a car with two or more power outlets. Even then, it's a mess with all those chargers.
This dual USB charger requires you to purchase a separate USB cable (with a standard USB jack on one end and whatever size jack you need for your device on the other end). Amazon has plenty to choose from, and they're pretty inexpensive. Or, you can simply use the charging cable that came with your device.
I find it incredibly handy to simultaneously charge my Droid phone and my iPod from one power outlet. On road trips, my wife and I can both charge our phones from one power outlet. This is very convenient. This Scosche charger appears to be very well-made, compared to other car chargers I've used. It's solid, I'd be surprised if I didn't get many years worth of use out of it.
Best of all, it is flexible enough to charge just about any device that can be charged from a USB port on a computer. I may replace my phone or get a different MP3 player in the next year or two, but I won't have to buy another car charger.
Highly recommended! - Ipod Car Charger - Iphone Car Charger - Iphone - Usb Charger'

2010 offers some great improvements over Office 2007: Customizable ribbons and the File tab instead of the silly MS Button (which confused everyone), combined with improved graphics and font options are fantastic!! Office 2010 combines the best of older versions (2003, etc.) with the best of 2007. It would be a real winner except . . . .
Microsoft's decision to throw loyal customers under the bus in favor of "simplified pricing" means upgrade costs are prohibitive! Don't be duped into buying the "activation key" card, thinking of it as an upgrade path. The "Activation Key" version can ONLY be installed on one computer - Ever!! It cannot be transferred if you upgrade or change primary work systems - Doesn't even sound like it be reinstalled if you have to reinstall the OS for some reason. Given increasing competition from online apps and a tight economy -- Microsoft needs to seriously reconsiders its pricing structure!!!
Others are buying Office 2007 - thinking they can simply download and install Office 2010 as an upgrade - but I believe the same restrictions as the "Activation Key" will be in effect. Microsoft Office Home & Business 2010 Product Key Card
This is like an OEM version - only one installation and one activation. Forget about installing it on more than one computer like the disc/retail version. Also, forget about moving it to another computer and getting it activated again (legally anyway).
I'd stay away from this unless you are absolutely sure that you will only be installing it and activating it on one computer AND that you will never want to move it to another computer in the future. Otherwise, pay a little more and get the non-PKC version that lets you install it on a desktop and notebook computer and move the license to another computer if you ever need or want to.
For a little more money, the non-PKC version is a much better value for many.
I am writing this after multiple conversations with Microsoft Tech Support.
Bottom line: Although Business Client Manager was included in Office 2007 Small Business, you have to purchase the Standard or Professional Version with multiple licenses before it is part of Outlook 2010.
For small business owners who owned Office 2007 Small Business, this is a major take away. Home and Business is in the same price range as 2007 Small Business was. 'Business' is in the name of both, so I assumed that it would have the same components. Now that it's installed, it would be major upheaval to try and go back to the previous version. We're talking hundreds of dollars more to purchase their minimum.
Nothing in Amazon's description states that BCM is there, nor does it warn you that it has been removed.
I told the Microsoft rep that, although I am not an attorney, the way this has been done might be opening themselves up to a class action lawsuit.
Buyer beware.
For $40 more, you can get 2 licenses to install on 2 different PC's by buying the disc version. However, this is a great productivity package, see my review of it here: Microsoft Office 2010 Home & Business (Disc Version).
This just isn't a good deal if you have a 2nd machine you could use the suite on.
Will not load up. "Support" is a hellish "run-around" between infinite voice options which never connect you to a person, but untimately only shove you off to a web site where you can leave frustrated e-mails. Then microsoft "doubles down" by trying to sell those (like me) who purchased a valid "product key car" a supplemental CD for $14 + tax and shipping.
This is unconscionable neglect for a product touted as the "greatest office suite in the world".
I bought a key card copy from Staples and it worked just fine. You can download a "backup" copy from Microsoft and then install. I did so and it was a very easy process (I was installing on a fresh Windows 7 PC). From what I can tell, it is re-installable again and again, just only for one PC. I think there have been some reports suggesting that it is a "one install only" setup. I'm pretty sure that's incorrect. If someone has experience with that, please let me know, but everything I can see says that I can reinstall someday.
I think the key card fills a niche that is certainly there.
I didn't like that there was no upgrade possibilities, but if the idea for Office is to start fresh, i'm all for it.
I regret wasting my money on this product.
I had a computer built to my specs as a Christmas present to myself and every cent of the $2000 was worth it EXCEPT buying MS Office 2010 Home and Business. Only Congress could have jammed so much pork on the front page of Word and Excel and still expected people to navigate or even understand it. Most people use the SAME FEW buttons over and over in Word and Excel. The 2003 version had the MOST used buttons front and center and the 2010 version shoves those off to the side or hides them in favor of the complicated buttons most people don't use and never even heard of. It takes an hour of navigation to type a simple Word document and more using Excel.
I DESPISE this MS 2010 version tremendously. It is THE WORSE PRODUCT I have purchased in 15 years.
They attempted to make the search engine easier and failed at that also.
Just found another problem with MS office 2010 that I NEVER had with MS office 2003 in all the years I used it- Their excel hangs up. I use excel a lot when I research things. Under Office 2003, I NEVER ONCE got a "Excel not responding" message but under 2010 which I have had only for a few weeks it has happened several times and it is a WORK STOPPAGE. You get a message that says Excel is not responding and it gives you one of 3 choices to click. I clicked try to find out what happened since I didn't save the info I last posted on it so I didn't want to close it. Minutes tick by and I hit CLOSE it and instead it said it was "researching why Excel wouldn't respond". GRRRRRRRRR tick tock tick tock tick tock wasting my time. DO NOT BUY MS Office 2010.
WARNING: Microsoft EXPORTED their customer service to the Philippines which is only one step up from the dreaded India exported customer service.
NOTE: I called Microsoft ITSELF and spoke with the CEO's secretary who took my name/number and said someone would call me back. A tech from the company did and HE SAID the front page could NOT be changed in any way. I could not suppress or move any of the icons. This was the same thing that was said earlier by the Microsoft's out of country "Manila" customer service representative AFTER 3 hours on the phone being transferred around.

February 2010 UPDATE:
Suddenly my Excel will not open. WTH? When you CLICK on a previously saved Excel 2010 folder, EXCEL opens the document but the words do NOT appear. This happened yesterday so I GOOGLED it. Low and behold, LOTS OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS ISSUE. Here is Microsoft's fix. There is no OPTIONS under file drop down list and under TOOLS where there is an OPTIONS choice and there is a GENERAL choice under that BUT there is no option for clicking the IGNORE OTHER APPLICATIONS. We paid good money for this software and should NOT have to go through this.
Excel opens with an error or without displaying a workbook
800-642-7676
Microsoft Excel 2010
1. Click the File tab, and then click Options.
2. Click Advanced, and then click to clear the Ignore other applications check box in the General area.
3. Click OK.
WORSE, I have ALWAYS had problems with Excel not being able to open more than one or two files at a time or it shuts down. In Googling how to FIX the above non-opening Excel issue, I found out Windows 7 is the culprit on this issue and it is also very common. I have windows 7 64bit with MS 2010 Home and Business. Below is the copy paste fix to THIS ISSUE.
Microsoft customer service. 800-642-7676 Keep asking for agent and customer service and ignore the press 1 etc.
Not able to open MULTIPLE EXCEL files at the same time Fix.
Got this from an outside source and thought I would share :)
In Windows 7 you have to edit the registry to remove DDE completely. This should work for Vista too. Check the "Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)" box in Excel -> Excel Options -> Advanced This alone might work for you by itself - didn't for me, I got an error every time I double-clicked on an excel document. BACK UP your registry.
Open regedit, browse to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Excel.Sheet.8\shell\Open Delete the ddeexec key, (or just rename it if you are worried - i just renamed it and it worked) Then click on the "command" key and replace the /e on the Default and command string in that key with "%1" Quotes around %1 are important. NO QUOTES MEANS NO WORKIE!!!!
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Excel.Sheet.8\shell\Open\command should look like this: (Default) REG_SZ "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\EXCEL.EXE" "%1 command REG_MULTI_SZ vUpAVX!!!!!!!!!MKKSkEXCELFiles>tW{~$4Q]c@II=l2xaTO5 "%1"
Do the same for Excel.Sheet.12 Now Both .xls and .xlsx should open in new windows with no errors.
I have confirmed that the same problem occurs in Office 2010x64 (32bit probably also) when checking the dde option. This should fix All vista and windows 7 problems with opening excel in seperate windows :) Enjoy! - Office 2007 - Word - Ms Office 2007 - Excel'

Gps Dashboard Mount - tomtom, dashboard mount
I've purchased other GPS dash mounts but this one is worth the few dollars more IMO. Even though they all perform well, this one has better looks and functionality. Compare the pictures and you'll notice that the material that encloses the weight is smooth and has no folds. You'll also notice the open area in the front. It will allow you to tilt your GPS down further for a better viewing angle while on the dash. As a result of being lower, it blocks less of your vision. I actually see the hood of my SUV above the GPS and no road blockage at all. It just looks better. For now, this would be my choice if I needed another one. ARKON CM012 Magellan, Nextar, HP, Navigon, Garmin, TomTom Friction Dash Mount
I hated sticking the Magellan Roadmate to the windshield and having it fall off or getting hot in the sun. But did not want to make any mess of my dashboard. So I tried this.
It is heavy enough that I didn't need the little peg for holding it on the dash. Was smooth enough so that the GPS did not come unstuck. Was well worth the price.
Very stable. But on the first hot day, I got in the car to find the plastic disc seperated from the pad. Investigation showed that there are 4 small screws that secure the disc to the mount, which had all pulled out. I reatteched the disc with some liquid nails glue, and now it is holding up nicely.
Unit arrived with dryed glue all over the suction pad What idiot would ship this like that?
Tried cleaning it off, my gps would not stick to it, ended up gluing the the plastic disc that came with the gps onto the surface. That seemed to fix the problem let's hope it will stay glued.
Therefore I give this pad no stars as it was defective, but the expense of shipping it back is not worth it or the hassle!
Company replaced product with no problem at all so i rate it five stars
Royal from Rhode Island
I got exactly what I should have expected. Works well with my standard TomTom920 windshield mount. Delivery was quick. I haven't used the safety hook since it's heavy enough to stay put.
I should have expected the only downsides for my use. These are that it's too big to put in my center console with the GPS attached and it's too heavy to travel with and use with for use with a rental car.
At least in my Silverado I'd need to mount the hook or the unit will slowly slide off the dash. I just really don't care to put an adhesive hook permanently on my dash. the base is a little too rigid. If it was a bit heavier and more bean bag like, I think it would slide less. It's ok for what it is, just not great. Quality if fine.
UNI WGHTD DSH MNT W/SAFTY is the must for portable navigation system in car installation. Easy to install, secure your portable GPS on the dash board without damaging the surface, easily removed to avoid potential car brake in. Good quality materials and workmanship.
The quality seemed good, but my dashboard has some nice curves and this mount is not very flexible at all. It would probably be good if your dashboard has a flat area (flat not level, since it has descent grip on the bottom). I ended up returning it because it didn't work for me. - Dashboard Mount - Gps Dashboard Mount - Gps Dash Mount - Tomtom'

Hot Dipped Galvanized - wire collated, hot dipped galvanized
My second order for this item. Quantity is just right for home use. Other sellers have huge quantities that apply mostly to contractors. First order of this item listed as wire collated, now listed as plastic collated. Second order arrived and they are in fact wire collated, NOT plastic. Will fit Porter Cable 350 coil nailer, which I use. The nails do their intended job with no jamming. The only drawback is the coils tend to be flattened during shipping. With a little re-shaping, they work well.

Comparative Religion - ethics class, morality
The book is a presentation of 18 moral dilemmas - problems faced by ordinary people from a variety of cultures and religions. Faced with these problems, the people involved have come to a moral crossroads. Each case study is presented in well-written, concise prose, resulting in compelling storytelling. After each case study, representatives of two relgions dissect the problem and explain how the situation would be viewed and handled in accordance with their religions. A young Indian must choose the life he wants in the U.S. to returning home to marry the wife who has been pre-selected. A chinese wife, learning that she is pregnant, must decide to have an ultrasound test that would almost certainly lead to an abortion if the fetus is determined to be female. A British nurse questions a surgeon's activity when she suspects operations are part of an organ selling scheme. The selling of an organ in one case means survival of the donor's family in the midst of great povery. What the reader comes away with is that there is more than one right answer. The viewpoints of different religions are interesting and sometimes surprising and the reader soon realizes that these issues of ethics are much more complex than they might seem to be at first. This is a book of conflicting loyalties - the stuff from which great drama springs. Ethics and World Religions: Cross-Cultural Case Studies
The cases in this book are very thought-provoking and help pastoral care students get into the thick of ethical issues. Each case study has two perspectives from different religions, such as Buddhism and Christianity, which reveal both how each religion approaches ethical decision-making and how pastoral care providers can remain open to see the values and benefits of different religions. Christine Gudorf is an excellent scholar...see her other works for more insights into christian feminist ethics. Her arguments refuting agape as "distinterested love" are essential reading for divinity students. - Morality - Comparative Religion - Ethics Class - Religious Pluralism'

Framing Nailer - porter-cable, framing
I have plans to begin finishing out my basement in the near future. After researching several different brands of framing nailers, I decided on this one based on the overwhelming number of positive reviews it received. After only breaking it in, I can tell you that I can see why everyone has such good things to say about this nailer. It is without a doubt a quality, powerful, confidence-inspiring piece of equipment that anyone would be proud to own.
I bought it right after I purchased the Porter-Cable CFFN250N combo kit. After breaking in the compressor (very important I might add), I set the regulator at 100 psi, and connected and loaded the nailer with 3" .120 coated framing nails. I found a couple of scraps of 2x4, stacked them one on top of the other, and let her go. At 100 psi, and with no adjustment to the gun right out of the box, it went through both pieces and sank the first nail perfectly flush, no problem! After a few more test shots, I gave the depth adjustment on the gun a quarter turn just to see what difference it would make. At the same pressure, it put the head of the nail slightly below the surface of the wood, just as it should. As expected, there was quite a bit more recoil with a nailer this size, and I found that just a little more pressure on the board helped when firing a nail. After all, it is shooting a 3" nail in one shot! I also changed the trigger to the "contact actuation" mode, which shoots a nail every time you touch the tip to the wood. This is a great feature, but as one other reviewer noted, I would suggest using it with caution. In the hands of someone unfamiliar with it's operation, it could be very dangerous! Nevertheless, it worked flawlessly, and all initial indications are that this gun will serve me well for many years to come. It's amazing what having the right equipment can do for your confidence level, especially if you're an amateur like me!
On a side note, I was also very pleased to see that such an affordable and relatively small compressor (2HP, 6 gallons) could produce more than enough pressure to power this gun. The compressor will produce 135 psi, and the gun's operating range is from 70-120 psi. As noted above, I had no problem with 3" nails at 100 psi.
Also, I can't say enough about the deal I got here at Amazon on this nailer. I caught it on a good day at less than $200, ordered the 17-piece accessory kit with it, took advanatage of the $25 off and free shipping offer, and still came out almost $50 cheaper than I would've paid for the nailer alone at the big orange store!
Thanks Amazon. You are an asset to the online shopping community! Porter-Cable FR350A Round Head 2-Inch to 3-1/2-Inch Framing Nailer
Just finished house number 2 with this bad boy. You just can't beat Porter Cable. Stick with the 350A instead of buying the 350mag. It is only about a pound heavier, comes with a case and you save $40.Very Well Balanced Machine, little fatigue during the day. Great hands-free depth adjustment. Extremely easy to load, advance and clear. You can change from restrictive to sequential fire easily on the trigger. My Hitachi can now be retired, I will not go back, this is my framing nailer of choice. As another reviewer seems to have found out, this is not an appearance nailer, for something like siding you may want to try the Porter-Cable RN175A Coil. I have had no problems sinking 16D's in even engineered lumber. For everyday use the 350A is highly recommended.
Rough Framing is not for everyone or every nailer. We had three of these porter cable nailer because of the price on a framing crew. As time went on we had one nailer on the job because two were always in the shop. The guns do not have the duribility needed to stand up to driving a few thousand nails a day. We oil the guns every day and keep the compressor at 110 but still had problems. The guns jam at least twice a day and there is no easy way to fix them while hanging off the side of a house. I've used Dewalt, Hitachi, Bostich, and a few other and never had to wonder if they would fire each time I pulled the trigger. It is also tricky to change out a clip of nails once they are loaded.
The tool free adjustable muzzle and depth are nice features. I wish that the nailers were put together better. We chose to go to Hitachi and get a nailer worth the money.
I bought this based on a lot of positive reviews that I read while researching framing nailers on several different websites. I must say, I am VERY pleased.
First of all, this tool has copious amounts of power. I was able to sink 3.5" 8d nails with no problem, even while adding a work bench and shelving in my new/old garage which features some really tough dimensional lumber. Further, and in spite of what I had read, I thought that the recoil was minimal.
Some of the reviews I read gave this tool mediocre to above average reviews w.r.t. balance and weight. I'm not sure what inspired these comments. The only issue that I had with balance was when the air hose got caught on something and pulled on the nailer but let's face it, this is an issue with any air tool. In fact, after using it for residential framing for two days straight, I did not notice any fatigue in my forearm or wrist. When I first opened the case, I looked at the size of the thing and assumed that it would be heavy. Quite the contrary. I've had the opportunity to try a few other framing nailers (Senco, Hitachi) and I thought that this felt lighter. Just my opinion.
I live in Chicago, Illinois and have had absolutely no problems finding nails (Lowes and the Borg have multiple selections for this tool). A box of 2500 2-3/8" nails cost me $25.00. Strangely, this is perhaps one item that is cheaper to buy locally when you factor in shipping charges.
I had read somewhere that the exhaust was not tool free. I bought the nailer conceding this fact however I found that it is not true.
I've read a couple of gripes based on the fact that the nailer does not have a holder for the mar-free nose piece. To this I say "big deal." When you are doing framing work, do you really care if you leave toenail spike marks in the lumber when you are face-nailing??
I was suprised to note that, when the magazine is down to 2-3 nails, the gun no longer fires. I don't really see this as an issue though.
One other reviewer noted that it is difficult to remove nails from the chamber if for instance, you wish to change nail lengths/sizes. I own several different nailers including Bostich, Campbell Hausfeld and PC. To date, I haven't found any that are particularly easy w.r.t. removing nails that have already been loaded. On the other hand, loading nails in this gun is simple. You shove a set in the rear of the gun, pull the tensioner back beyond them and let it go. Voila!
To summarize, I am not a professional framer/carpenter. I do not use a tool like this for a living although as a woodworker and homeowner, I probably use my framing nailer more often than most. I think that it is a great product for the money. Can you buy a better nailer? Without even looking, I'm sure you can but at what cost? Finally, the quality of higher-end tools is quite subjective, much like a good pair of home stereo loudspeakers. I think that this particular product is a fantastic combination of quality and value.
Skeptical? Buy one from Home Depot and try it out. If you don't like it, all you have to lose is 35-45 minutes in line trying to return it! ;o) - Porter-cable - Nail Gun - Nailer - Framing'
