Refrigerator Accessories - water filter, refrigerator accessories

You gotta hand it to Maytag - they made replacing the water filter very simple. Took all of about 30 seconds from start to finish. And about 20 seconds of that was wiping up the water that dripped out of the old filter when I pulled it out, so the next change should go even better ;-)

We have a family of six and we drink water almost exclusively, so I went ahead and changed the filter at six months just like the owner's guide recommended. However, I could see no evidence that the filter was near its end of life and am convinced that I can get more use out of the filters than the suggested six months. I will try to keep an eye on things, but without a little window I really have no way other than flow to know what is going on.

And that is why I gave this a rating of four stars. The filter seems to work wonderfully and replacement is a breeze, but I would be happier if I could look at the state of the filter while it is in use. Maytag UKF8001 PuriClean II Refrigerator Cyst Reducing Water Filter, 1-Pack (Discontinued by MFG 2009)

My Ice Cube make was having major problems. Ice Cubes were hollow and Ice was sticking on the White Prongs that pop the cubes out. I called Amana and they were no help so I figured that the Cube maker was not getting enough water flow.

I replaced with this filter and now the Ice Cube maker is like new and the water shoots out of the dispenser like crazy. What used to take 25-30 seconds to fill a glass of water now takes 3-5 seconds.

So if you are having Ice Cube issues or poor water flow buy this.

It's a little expensive for a water filter but it's worth it.

Oh and the water tastes good too.

This is a very expensive item for what you get, and it certainly doesn't last as long as they say it does. The taste of your water coming through this filter is great for the first month or so, but then the quality drops noticeably quick.

I think the price of this item is unfairly high, but once you buy a refrigerator that needs them, you're stuck. You either buy the filter or put up with nasty tasting water from your refrigerator spigot.

A good rule of thumb, if you're buying one filter, better buy two, because you'll need a new one quicker than you think.

This item was exactly what I needed and at a good price. This item is sometimes difficult to find in stores and the price is usually a litle bit higher. The item was shipped quickly and I did not have any problems installing it.

Fast delivery of an important feature of the family refrigerator. This is a water filter that screens particles and odors out of chilled water dispenser. It is sturdy, easy to install and very reliable. Buy it, you'll be satisfied.

Acts Like A Wire Is Loose Or Something - acts like a wire is loose or som, htc inspire case

Based on reviewer feedback that HTC Desire HD skins fit the HTC Inspire perfectly, I bought this for my wife's phone. Bought a silicone skin as well to see which worked better, this one is her favorite. It is stylish and tight fitting. Glad we got it. TPU Rubber Skin Case for HTC Desire HD, Clear Frost Wine Red Circle

I thought I was going to be wasting my money, but when I got it earlier today I was surprised. It fits perfectly, and it even feels better than the cases that you would find at the mall for 20 dollars or more.

These cases fit perfectly with the HTC inspire phones we have. The cases are not thick, so I don't know how much protection it would give if you really dropped your phone.... Thankfully haven't yet. Hopefully it will do a great job! The case has a nice feel, not to sticky but not to slick either. The colors were a bit lighter then what was pictured. Over all we are very happy with both cases we bought. Shipping was fast too.

I'm pleased with my purchase. This case fit my HTC Inspire like a glove and gives me a less slick surface to hold on to. It was a brighter red than I expected, but I LOVE it. (The color shown is pretty accurate. I was expecting something deeper, but I'm not disappointed at all.) It looks great, fits great, and the price can't be beat. I also ordered it in smoke for when I want to change things up. Fast shipping = satisfied customer.

I purchased this for the HTC desire. When I received the case it did not fit, was to big. So I wrote the company and requested the correct case. They wrote me and told me that the case fits the desire and the inspire. So they then sent me the case again, which was the same one. This is wrong. The case only fits the Inspire. So now I have two cases that do not fit my phone. UGH!!!!!

Just lately I've been buying stuff online since prices are usually cheaper. But I am always afraid of being cheated or not getting the right item. Well I ordered this cell phone cover for my wife's htc inspire and it was perfect!! I think the same cover was sold at the mall for at least $8. I am really happy with this product and would totally recommend for others with the Inspire phone.

Now I'm going to try to put the plastic screen cover protector. Wish me luck! - Htc Inspire Case - Inspire Case - Acts Like A Wire Is Loose Or Som - Screen Protector Foils'

Laptop Accessories - logitech wireless mouse, wireless mouse

I actually bought this elsewhere, got a nice price on it. I would never consider a long-receiver USB-type wireless mouse for a laptop. I can just see them getting hooked and broken over and over, so it was important to have a tiny receiver like this. I admit I've not tested the range. I have not tested the battery life (only a few days old). However, this thing's receiver is awesome; I know it will not break due to its small stature.

The mouse itself was found fine on Windows Start 7 and also XP Home edition on two computers. It's a bit more sensitive than my older USB plug in mouse so I pulled down the pointer speed in control panel.

I generally dislike mouses/mice (?) of this shape as it is stub-nosed and quite tall. That is my main complaint about it but I knew that going in so I cannot ding it a star and it is otherwise a large enough mouse not to frustrate my hands--it is not a tiny, pitiful "laptop"-sized mouse.

It has a button on the bottom to turn it off. If left on the red tracking light underneath is constantly shining, but I intend never to turn it off as I think that light pulls very little power (I hope) and it ensures quick wake ups. Wakeup time is about a second if the mouse has been left for a while--this won't bother you. Responsively it seems fine. I've not tried it with gaming. I hear that USB-based wireless mouses are a touch faster than bluetooth, for what it's worth.

It takes a single AA battery (comes with a duracell), which means replacements should be most readily available and an AA vs AAA or 2XAAA ensures decent battery life without spending any kind of real money on battery replacements. I imagine it would work with a rechargeable nimh but I have not tried it.

As I will use this mouse every day, if I do not come in to update this review in the future you can rest assured that I either got run over by a truck or the mouse continues to work as stated.

EDIT: Feb 9/10. The battery died on this a couple of days go, so with pretty regular use (3-4 hours/day) and never turning the thing off it got about 6 weeks, which I think is certainly acceptable. Logitech Wireless Mouse M305 (Pink Balance)

I have only had this 1 hr., but it's great so far. I have tested it on three different computers (3 yr. old Dell Insipron w/ Vista, 2 yr. old Dell Inspiron w/ Vista and new Acer netbook w/ XP. Just plug and play with all three. Gotta love the tiny USB receiver (can't break off). The size is on the smallish side but seems fine for me and the wife. It works on our shiney wood desk and jeans; haven't tested anything else. It worked from about 4 ft. with the receiver on the the far side of the computer. (If I am any further than that I can't see the screen anyway; heck who am I kidding, I couldn't see the screen from there.)

I looked at the Microsoft 4000 which is a little bigger and feels a little nicer to me, but I got the M305 because I'm cheap and it was on sale for $10 less.

Update 3/1/10: Still works great. We took a three week trip with the laptop and it was really convenient to just leave the receiver in place when packing up the laptop.

I own three of the Logitech M305 wireless mouse...One in each laptop...I just leave the very tiny USB transmitter in the USB port of the laptop..It is so small, it will not move around in the port like the longer transmitters..This mouse has an easy off an on switch...They are available with cool graphics too...They are compatible with XP Vista and 7 and you can use them on jeans, a blanket, or really any surface with NO sluggish drag...I love this product***** UPDATE....I JUST BOUGHT THE NEWEST MACBOOK PRO...THEY WANTED $100 DOLLARS FOR THEIR MOUSE...I PLUGGED THIS BAD BOY IN AND IT WORKS JUST FINE FOR $15.00

Pros:

1. Easy set up. Turn on machine, Insert battery (included), plug in receiver, turn on and go.

2. Comes with one AA battery, tiny USB receiver and instructions in English.

3. Slider on the bottom opens front casing to insert battery, similar to the V220, except that the battery direction is much more clearly marked.

4. Easy on/off slider also on bottom.

5. Handy storage space for receiver inside battery compartment.

6. Small and portable

7. Wicked cool pattern, matching wireless K250 keyboard.

8. Indicator light for low battery situations.

Cons:

1. May be a bit small for large hands

2. Pretty basic in functions (but has everything most people will ever need)

3. Receiver is NOT a unifying receiver.

4. Battery cover a little tricky to remove without practice.

Summary:

A compact, basic, portable, easy to set-up wireless mouse ideal for laptops. Combines the size and design of the V220 mouse and the USB storage compartment of the VX Nano Laser mouse.

Addendum:

This is billed as being paired with the Wireless Keyboard K250, so I'm reviewing them as a matched twosome.

Pros:

1. They make a handsome couple

Cons:

1. They don't get along and are headed for divorce court, because they don't have a unifying receiver in common.

Notes:

After driving myself crazy for a few minutes, and downloading unnecessary software, I discovered that the M305 mouse does not have what it takes to work with the unifying receiver, and therefore you'll need to plug in BOTH receivers to make the mouse and keyboard work.

Apparently you'll need the M705, Performance Mouse MX or Anywhere Mouse MX if you prefer having only one receiver for both mouse and keyboard.

Amanda Richards, July 17, 2010

I have been using Logitech products for quite a number of years now and have yet to be in the least dissatisfied with any item. This mouse, the Logitech M305 Wireless Mouse is no different. It does precisely the job I paid for it.

This is a workhorse. There is nothing particular fancy about it; it simply works the way it is suppose to work, and works well.

The design fits my hand perfectly and is quite comfortable. The plug-in nano-receiver is quite small. I use this particular mouse on my lap top; the one I travel with and do my work on the job with. The nano-receiver is plugged into the SBU port (I am currently using a Dell Inspiration which is several years old) and that is where it stays. I need not worry about removing it constantly. As the receiver is quite small, there is little to no chance of it being broken or accidently chipped off despite the fact that my lap top takes quite a beating.

This mouse uses a single AA Battery. I have been using this since last December 2009 pretty constantly and have had only one need for a battery change. I always carry a couple of extra AA Batteries with me as I despise using the computers touch pad for the type of work I do.

The scroll function works quite well but if you are looking for the superfast scroll feature you need to look at another model. I personally don't need or want that particular feature. I have tried using this mouse on just about every surface you can imagine from desk top, to my leg, to the floor and everything between. It always works and works smoothly

Please do take note. This is not a high tech mouse of the sort a serious gamer would be happy with. I handle the ones my grandsons have on their computers and they are in a world of their own with adjustable weight, high speed this and that's and to be quite frank, I am sort of afraid to touch the things for fear of having my hand either being evaporated or transported into another dimension. No, this is a work horse of a mouse with limited features; which is precisely what I needed and wanted.

Set up was absolutely nothing. No programs were needed, not down loads were needed. You just plug in the little bitty chip thing and you are ready to go.

The price here is quite easy on the pocket, something I loved about it, and you actually get quite a bit for your money, something which is becoming quite rare now days.

I have absolutely nothing to complain about in reference to this product.

shawl - shawl

The only thing I wished to have had a better idea of the weight of the garment. It is well made, and I will use it when the weather turns cooler. I was originally looking for something very light weight in silk for an outdoor summer wedding--for a garden party. I opted for something lighter, but am very certain the wrap will look great this fall. Elegant Maroon Reversible Paisley Pashmina Silk Shawl Wrap

I bought several of these from a Kiosk in a local mall, after Christmas I went back to buy more and the little shop was gone, it had only been there for the Christmas season. I finally found this source on Amazon and ordered 6 in various colors. I was very happy with the prompt service from the vendor and thrilled with the quality and price of the scarves. At the mall they were

$12.00 for one or $20.00 for two, so these were priced great!

Thanks to everyone!

Bought this and 3 others for gifts, I love mine, love the weight, quality, feel. I've never worn one, but found myself using the maroon scarf with three different outfits and colors this past holiday. Thought the quality was better and weight perfect for Houston's weather, during our 2 days of chilly weather.

At first, I thought that the shawl was a light pink due to the lighting in the picture but when you open it the shawl is actually a darker wine/purple color. Still very pretty. I was very happy overall as i ordered a few and got them shipped together and receive it in no time. - Shawl'

Wireless Camera - infrared, surveillance

Summary: Overall this camera does everything well, and for the price, nothing comes close.

Setup was quick and painless. I plugged the camera into my router with the included cable and after checking my router settings for the IP address, I could access the camera straight from a browser. On the settings page I only modified the username/password, adjusted the pan/tilt speed and added my wireless settings. There are a lot of other options, but these are the basics to get up and running and allow placement of the camera anywhere within range of your wireless router with only the power adapter.

The picture is clear and works in all light conditions from total darkness to daylight. The IR is very useful in both of my toddlers rooms at night. The wide angle allows me to see a lot and with the pan/tilt I can see everything.

We have iPhones and we use an app called "Foscam Surveillance". It works well with these cameras (including the pan/tilt function) and is only $5. We can also access these cameras from outside our home over the internet either from a browser on say my computer at work or using the app on my iPhone. My husband set that up, send me a message and I will see if I can have him post some instructions on how to do that. It's great for checking on the kids when they are with the sitter or knowing that our home is safe when we are gone on the weekends. The peace of mind has been priceless for us.

My husband and I already had a few of the previous model, the Foscam FI8908W. Although not a giant leap, there are some definite improvements that make this a worthwhile upgrade. Some improvements are:

1.) Increased pan/tilt range and speed settings (fast is nice when following a running child!)

2.) Slightly improved look and smaller size

3.) Replaced the activity light on the front of the camera with an additional IR LED

4.) The onboard speaker and microphone have much clearer sound than the old model and are accompanied by additional audio input and output jacks on the back to allow an external speaker and/or microphone.

5.) Ability to turn off the IR LEDs from the web interface

Conclusion: My husband and I have found this IP camera is easy to setup and works well to remotely view areas around our home. Believe me when I say we did a lot of research, and for the price, nothing comes close to this IP camera. Foscam FI8918W Wireless/Wired Pan & Tilt IP/Network Camera with 8 Meter Night Vision and 3.6mm Lens (67° Viewing Angle) - Black NEWEST MODEL (replaces the FI8908W)

If you have never interfaced with your router's software before (and you are not brave!) than this might not be for you. It is not hard to set up. You plug in its AC adapter and plug it into your router. Follow the instructions and wow.

The picture is wonderful. The motion alarm is fantastic. We placed on of these inside our barn across the street from our home, about 350 feet away. We added an $80. antenna to our router from Hawking, also available on Amazon, and poof! I can now see what all the sqwak is at 2AM in my barn with out walking all the way out there! Wow, wow, wow. The pan and tilt features are really nice. We setup another at our front door, and three "out door" styles around the outside of the property. I don't know how long this black "indoor" will last in the extreme temps and humitity of our barn and front porch, but that is not Foscam's problem. I will update at the end of the winter, or sooner if they die during winter!

4/3/11 Well they made it through the winter. We have been able to review motion detection alarm triggered video clips that were saved on our pc. We have been able to remote pan across the barn to see who is making all the racket and why. It is lovely to know who has been on your porch while you were sleeping! The cameras are wonderful. the there is an antenna you can get on amazon that will extend you wireless cababilities. We view the inside and outside of our barn across the street. These are great.

I really wanted to love this camera, the feature set appeared to be excellent. The set up was fairly simple to set up a static IP address and I even gave it a higher port number. It did work well in Firefox, Chrome and Safari, but the most advanced features like sound and better quality picture appear to be in Internet Explorer. I even got it to work via my iPhone. The problem I have is the constant freezing upon logging via Internet Explorer on my Windows 7 Laptops. I'm running both 32 bit and 64 bit IE. I looked for solutions and saw users have been experiencing IE issues with the buggy Active X controls since Vista.

I'm on the fence if I should keep this Wireless IP Cam, since the Activex code crashes on both my laptops and freezes them. I'm sick of having to reboot. It's very annoying, but I'm not sure if I really need the audio anyway, I'm more interested in photos and ability to ftp, and email pictures to an account. It's annoying since I even upgraded the firmware to the most current version and tried to follow all the useless instructions of disabling firewalls, disabling antivirus, and allowing all active x controls even whitelisted the IP in a trusted zone. NOTHING WORKED. So far the Active x controls are the only thing broken, besides two IR lamps seem to dim compared to the rest, the ability to pan and tilt are excellent. Image Quality is fair, seems almost better in the dark, but in the dark it's black and white.

Update:

I decided to keep the Camera. I've noticed it seems to go into a "look" mode randomly moving everywhere occasionally, but overall I'm happy with the product. I signed up for the free dynamic dns account, then put the info in my Verizon Fios Router and Foscam settings. I also used my ISP and set up an FTP Account. I also enabled UPnP, which allowed me to set up the port forwarding rules in my Verizon Router. I'm using a higher 4 digit port number ending in zero so I can add additional cams in the future. Other then the remote control with Internet Explorer, I was able to get all the other features to work, including motion detection, emailing via the SMTP settings (used my ISP again), and FTP of any activity out to my account (my hosting ISP is Bluehost - which allowed me to configure the FTP and SMTP info very easily).

Let me know if you require any assistance configuring settings, it's convenient to access via Dynamic DNS Address or directly via the IP Address (must add high port to each to connect). The 5 dollar iPhone app is also a nice access option.

If they resolve the Win 7 Active X issues or allow sound via other browsers, I'll raise my review. Also we'll see how the quality holds up over time. - Surveillance - Infrared - Wireless - Night Vision'

Replacement Batteries - anker, anker battery

I was in dire need of a new battery for my toshiba laptop as the original battery was depleted. Instead of spending alot of money on an oem replacement, I took a chance and bought this Anker battery from Laptopmate@Amazon. Glad I made that decision. Saved me some money. Shipping was fast. Battery was a perfect fit into the laptop. Battery has been going strong since. Would do it again and again. Anker New Battery for Toshiba Satellite A300 A305 A350, L200 L201 L203 L305, L300D L300EZ, L450 L455 L455D L455-S5975 Fits PABAS098 PABAS099 PABAS174 PA3534U [Li-ion 6-cell 4400mAh]

Ive been using this battery for the past month now and it is AMAZING!To be honest, it works better than the original hands down,it lasts longer off the charger and it doesnt drain as fast so i am very pleased with this product. If youre deciding on buying this battery,i would say buy it now without any worries..thanks guys!

I am very happy with this replacement battery which was purchased for my Toshiba Satellite. It fits in the battery compartment very well, and holds a charge similar to the original battery. A good value for the price paid. Five stars.

I purchased this battery for my girlfriend's Toshiba laptop. Her original battery was so poor that it would not even hold a charge anymore. It had gotten to the point where it would often not turn on even when plugged in. After receiving this battery, the laptop has been reborn. For a fantastic price, I was able to fix her laptop. One can't go wrong with this.

I was looking for a replacement battery for my Toshiba laptop and found this Anker battery from LaptopMate on the Amazon website. My original battery had died in my 2 year old laptop. Toshiba wanted $99.99 for a replacement.

This Anker battery was approx. 1/4 of the cost. The battery was a tight fit in my laptop but lasts for over 2 hours and works great. It actually holds a charge longer than the original when it was new. Since this battery comes with a 12 month warranty, a person would be hard pressed to find a better deal.

Exactly as described, worked with my Satellite L305D.

Would recommend.

Minor issue with size of battery, not an exact perfect fit, but it's not bad enough to take away a star.

Second time purchasing from laptopmate, will always look through them first for replacements.

I was desperate and bought this battery since i'll be on the road/in the air for the next 2 out of 3 weeks and my netbook can't support my research for that long. I read everything provided in the specs including that it's a perfect replacement of the original. THIS IS KEY.

This is also false.

First, i had to shove the battery into its spot instead of drop it in, which wedges it tight enough i have to use a butterknife to pull it back out which makes me wary of the manufacturing tolerances. Second, the actual capacity of this battery is not a replacement for the original. The battery i replaced is rated for 6000 mAh and shipped with the laptop (can't afford upgrades on a grad student stipend), this has 4400 mAh. My original battery got 3 hours, now i'm looking at ~2 hours. While they clearly state the capacity on the product description, they make no attempts to warn the customer that this MAY NOT be a match to the capacity of your own battery you got with your laptop, and are in fact deceptive by stating it IS a perfect match. I feel ripped off that i bought a lesser battery because i didn't think to check the seller's honesty against numbers on the battery.

I'm reviewing this product with the average customer in mind. I am not the average customer. I'm a doctoral candidate in computer science and didn't think to check the numbers on my original battery instead of trusting the seller's claims. I can't help but think the average computer user with a spent battery would even know what to look for and would have to just trust the laptop model numbers.

I ordered a replacement battery for my Toshiba L305D-S5934 and it was not compatible with the battery compartment at all. Your description listed this laptop and battery as compatible, that's why I bought it. Laptopmate should verify equipment to be correct in order to avoid false advertising. I could have bought this item from many other sellers. - Laptop Battery - Anker - Long Battery Life - Anker Battery'

Well, since im talking about hundreds of dollars in components... I allways go for non electrical conductive

compounds... this product has nothing to envy to other ArcticSilver products, I'll choose it above AC5 with my

eyes closed. However, when it comes to disipation, well... it is an excellent product, I had a previous experience

with TX-4 from Tuniq and I was simply amazed... on the other hand, the bang for the buck of this 22G presentation

has no rival, so Im pretty happy with this paste, It lowered the temps in the CPU big time over the stock compound

and also manage to lower 3C on a HAWK GTX 460 wich is a cold card already... all in all the value in this presentation

is was my deciding criteria, and didn't let me down! Arctic Silver Ceramique Premium High-Density Thermal Compound - Thermal paste

Apc - apc battery backup, computer power backup

Does not provide enough time to even turn off your PC. Battery is not user replaceable. Battery does not have enough amp-hours to properly run anything more than a mac mini. Advertised on the box -- "43 minutes" is clearly ficticious -- as the system it replaced had a battery 55% larger, which also said the same 43 minutes for a mac mini. CyberPower web site admits "2 minutes" at full load. This is deceptive -- people buying a 550VA UPS expect that it will last at least a few minutes...

I have installed a LOT of CyberPower UPS's over the last three years... I moved from (Brand) and (Brand) to CyberPower in 2006. Only one failed system in all that time. Outstanding. Now, I tried to by the CP550SL ... but it is replaced with this one... I bought 4 of them only to find that at 2 minutes of power, I've wasted my money. The old model weighed in at over 12 lbs... 5.6lbs of battery. Now, the new unit is 6.3 lbs total. I am currently researching to figure out what new UPS brand to use for SMB servers and workstations.

If they had created a new model number that was different enough from the old one, I wouldn't have just bought them without the detailed review I normally do... CyberPower CP550SLG UPS Standby Green - 550VA/330W 8-Outlet RJ11 Compact Design

We have alot of these in our offices and have not had a problem with any. I like Cyberpower because they are alot cheaper than APC and work just as well.

If you want to save some cash, go with Cyberpower over the more expensive brands. Trust me, nobody cares about brand names when its behind the desk.

Great price, much cheaper then comparable APC, Works well, purchased for fiances IMAC. Only thing that stinks is the software to see the details on the UPS don't work on MACs. Not sure if the GreenPower really is going to make a difference, but obviously this is better then just a standard surge protector. - Apc Battery Backup - Computer Power Backup - Battery Backup - Battery Back Up'

Disk Storage - media storage, dvd case

Let's start with the outside of the wallet. The design is elegant, and minimalistic, with a slight curve down the left front side, also serving as a handgrip, and a line through the middle, along with the Case Logic logo. The zipper has a rubber tab attached to it, and it zips open and closed without any hassles. The entire wallet has a very durable feel to it.

Inside, each page lets you store two CDs, or a single CD, plus notes/game manuals. Pages flip easily, and discs seem easily to slide in and out as well, at least compared to the Velocity CD wallets which were recently on sale here at Amazon with rebates.

Zipping the wallet up, turning it upside down, and banging on it, one finds that the discs stay in place, and don't slide towards the top, again, unlike the Velocity CD wallets where discs often slides towards the top just while turning pages.

All in all, this is a very well thought-out CD wallet, with a nice design, and seemingly durable construction. After I got mine, I bought two more. This product is also made in China. Case Logic CDE-24 24 Capacity Heavy Duty CD Wallet (Black)

I like accessories that are functional and really work as they were intended and designed. Such is the case with this product. It holds CDs securely and safely. There is also room for accompanying booklets, manuals and the like. This CD Wallet is well thought out, functional and very durable.

I bought this product based on the excellent reviews it had gotten here on Amazon, but I admit that I am sorely disappointed. I bought this knowing that there was no handle as depicted on the case, so I will not count this against the product in the review.

My main complaint is with the CD sleeves. Both the cloth and the plastic parts do not meet expectations. The cloth is extremely thin and light, and feels like I could poke my finger through it if I tried. It is almost translucent when held up to a light. Secondly, the clear plastic part of the sleeves feel low quality, like they would tear or stretch after extended use.

If this is being used for its intended purpose of carrying CDs on the go, the hard shell exterior provides adequate protection. However, since the sleeves are of such low quality, my CDs fall out if the case gets shaken a bit. And, just to reiterate, there is no handle as shown in the product image.

Pros:

-Cheap

-Hard shell

-Zipper

Cons:

-Flimsy CD sleeves

-CDs tend to come out of sleeves

-No handle

I instead recommend

Bankers Box 64-CD Capacity Wallet with Built-In Cleaning Cloth, Faux Leather, Black 85129 / FEL85129, which I also own, as it is much higher quality and is still suitable for on the go CD carrying.

This fits in the small slot behind the stick shift. I had about 8 cd's there before with plastic cases that were always falling to the floor or the cases kept opeining up. This is perfect!! I love it. I slip the paper with the CD contents behind the CD. So compact and your Cd's are protected.

Product is very durable, holds alot and has been able to with stand a toddler! We bought two and will buy more in the future as we need them. Both of mine didn't come with any handles.... I wish it did. Otherwise it looks just like the picture.

This case is a good buy.

The firm/hard outer case feels sturdy and I feelmy discs are well protected.

My only complaint is that the sleeves for the discs feel flimsy and a look a bit cheap, so I hope they hold up to the constant usage of the discs.

It would also be nice to have a handle (just a suggestion)

But other than that I am satisfied.

I have a couple nylon softer-sided cases. Because the sides are stiffer and bubbled out a little bit on this one, I think this one will provide a little more protection when banging around behind the seat of the car. The item I received doesn't have a handle like the one in the picture; I'm fine with that, but it's worth noting.

I've been a fan of Case Logic wallets for years; I'm generally a very active person who hauls his disks around for trips both short and long. I've owned some Caselogic wallets for 8+ years without ever having to replace it.

Such is the situation for this Case Logic wallet. I've carried it around with me in Iraq for six months now, and it generally lives to its standards. Solid and crush-resistant, very durable, the only problem I've had with it is its tendency for one or two of the plastic disc holders have ripped. But such is the case with such heavy wear/tear. If you're like me, storing both album art and CD in the same sleeve, it's what you need. It also has a side pocket on the inside front cover for me to store back inserts and/or miscellaneous excess DVD/CD material that comes with the packaging.

Buy this if you're mobile; buy it if friends tend to step on your case; buy this if through no fault of your own your cases are constantly abused. It'll survive a war and then some.

Pros:

+ Durable

+ Damage Resistant

+ Inside Pocket

+ Tear Resistant Binder Pages

Cons:

- Slightly fragile Plastic Disc Holders - Media Storage - Cd Wallet - Dvd Case - Cd Storage'

Diaper Care - baby, sensitive skin

I dont like these because I thought they would be like the original Thick Care wipes. These are thin like the normal pampers wipes nothing thick about them. They are okay if you dont mind the thin wipes but seems like you have to use more then if you use the thick wipes.

I love these wipes. They are very moist and get everything in one or two wipes. I also love that when you put them in the wipe container, they really do come up just one at a time! That way your not wasting time trying to just get the one wipe you wanted and wrestling with the baby to stay still. These are the only wipes I will be buying from now on!!!

I've been using these wipes for a couple of months, and prior to that I was subscribed to the regular Pampers Sensitive wipes. These were indeed thicker than regular wipes, and very reasonable priced, but I cannot stand the smell! I know these are supposed to be fragrance-free, but the wipes have a slight formaldehyde scent to it. Very unpleasant. Both the Pampers Sensitive and Pampers Sensitive Thick have this smell, so I'm switching brands for now and trying Huggies. Hopefully, their fragrance-free wipes will really be fragrance-free.

I absolutely love these wipes!! They are the softest I have felt and they also feel very moist. When I use them on my baby, they do not bother her bum at all and if she has a slight rash, if I just use these then it goes away super fast!!!

We recently switched to cloth wipes, but I still keep some of these around for outings and such. They hold much more than the regular wipes do and don't seem to irritate my son's skin as much as the "un" sensitive kind do. - Pampers Wipes - Sensitive Skin - Wipes - Baby'

Rumblepad 2 - gamepad, game controller

I am no gamer. So, imagine my surprise when a friend brought over his PS3, got me a little tipsy, and made me play Portal! I was captivated. I've always had a party-limited soft-spot in my heart for two-player fighting games, but quickly loose interest. They're not something I'd ever play alone against the AI, either! Portal, though, reminded me a little of 'The 7th Guest', and with a long-awaited sequal coming out soon, I ordered a copy of the venerable 'Orange Box' from Valve.

The problem was, after getting used to the PS3 controller, I found myself unwilling to use the bloody keyboard and mouse for everything, especially at speed. I began researching USB controllers, but had a hard time finding a recommendation for one that could be used both in Windows 7 and XP. Further, I wanted a controler that would at least be recognized by Ubuntu, as my home ecosystem is very 'Multi-Coded'. On the recommendation of a friend who is a staunch supporter of Logitech, I checked out the current line-up of X-input or Direct-X switchable controllers.

Now, they're not cheap. However, as my friend pointed out, they're reliable, good quality, and built to last. As my Windows 7 machine is to be my primary box for gaming, I tried it first there. I was hoping that drivers wouldn't be necessary, and the controller did work the first time... Then the thing didn't register as connected to USB at all for three startups running. I installed the most recent software direct from logitech's website, and all was well. Nothing needed to be mapped. Windows XP was even easier, switched the output using the switch on the back of the controller to Direct-X, and all was well. Even got it to work through the USB server on my virtual machine in Ubuntu! The controller is comfortable, responsive, and has a very quality feel for a hunk of plastic! Further, one could use those darned rumble packs for "personal massage" purposes... What a kick!

I don't like the mapping function provided in the logitech software, but it's an admitted hack in the first place. You're just doing keyboard mapping through software! Overall, it's a small price to pay to force an emulator to do one's will for truly ancient games, and a welcome piece of forceware at end of day. The attraction of using this as an X-Box 360 controller doesn't even register for me. As far as I'm concerned, those things should all be burned, anyway (though I understand most folks would disagree with me).

Overall, great job! Quality controller, and people in other reviews are right. The analog thumbsticks loosen up with intense playing. Depending on the game, you can even turn sensitivity up and down! Logitech Rumble Gamepad F510 with Dual Vibration Motors

After just receiving my F510 in the mail I attempted to install the software and found that because I have Windows XP, you need to turn the pad over and switch the X to the D. XP users, always place it on Direct as the X is meant for Win 7 OS. If you have XP and don't do this the pad will not be recognized by the OS and you will sit there for a long time like I had figuring nothing out and eventually calling the Customer Service Department.

The Customer Service Department was very nice and very helpful. The game pad works like a charm and I am very happy with it.

My search for a XInput(360) compatible device with a decent d-pad is finally over.

My other options were:

1) The offical 360 pad: The d-pad is worthless.

2) The Hori 360 pad: Similar price but reviews indicate quality issues. It also provides no extra PC features beyond XInput.

3) Cheap phillips pad. Only directInput and terrible dpad.

My thoughts after a couple weeks with the F510...

Pros:

- Responsive d-pad. Spelunky, Super crate box, ZSnes all work with minimal config. Detects diagonals correctly. The 'floating' d-pad feels a bit strange at first but I am used to it now.

- Didn't need to install anything. XInput games don't even need to be configured. If I ever try something that uses DirectInput the software may be required.

- Sticks, face buttons and bumpers have a good feel.

- Price. Especially with 1/2 off sale a few weeks back.

- Solid build. Feels like Logitech.

Cons:

- Vibration button should be swapped with the start button or moved to the back. I kept hitting it instead of start the first few times. Not a big deal.

- Trigger buttons are awkward and should be moved inward a bit. My index fingers should rest naturally on the triggers rather than the bumpers. Not a deal breaker as I was able to adapt to it for Dirt 2 (throttle). I imagine playing an FPS would be somewhat annoying, but who plays FPS games with a gamepad on PC?

- Cord is a bit short. Easily solved via cheap usb extender.

Other thoughts:

- Does not actually work on a 360. Not a con but I was curious.

- What is the "logitech"(dashboard) button for? - Game Controller - Pc Gamepad - Controller - Gamepad'

Xbox Headset - xbox live, headset

I bought 4 of these new on ebay. First one didnt last the first night. Second didnt last 3 days. These things are total garbage. Spend $20 on a new original xbox360 headset and save yourself the head ache. Xbox 360 Max Live Headset

For some reason, I have gone through 3 of these headsets. They are the cheapest ones out there, and usually don't last more than 2 months or so for me. The only reason I like them is because the mute button is conveniently located at the base of the controller, making it easy to turn your voice on and off with your thumb. The bad part is that this headset is extremely cheap. One of them the wiring came out and stopped working completely, another one the microphone stopped transmitting my voice, but I could still hear people through the headphones. And the one I have now works but randomly. I should probably just get the original xbox 360 headset for $10 more....

This headset was great while it lasted. My son used it for about 3 days before it broke. The ear piece fell off and would not fit back on.The wires connecting also came apart. This was an inexpensive headset, and I learned, you get what you pay for!

Well I was a bit cautious when I first saw this headset. I thought it would be cheap and might "feel" cheap and break easy. I was wrong and now I'm glad I purchased this headset! So far the headset is great with minor cons. It seem stronger and longer lasting than Microsoft's $20.00 headsets. MS headsets we beginning to make me angry since they broke within 2 months every time I purchased a new headset.

So I said screw MS 1st Party headsets and I've found this "Xbox 360 Max Live Headset ". I'm planning on purchasing another Max Live Headset. I'm loving this headset and it does everything MS headset does, but for a cheaper price.

I recommend this Xbox 360 headset to anyone that comes to this page.

Cons:

Can only use it on your left ear. Nothing more.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this and I am amazed at how well this worked. I'd read that this breaks easily and wasn't good quality but I've had no problems and I've had it for about a year. It is a great inexpensive headset and there is plenty of length in the wire so you don't pull on the headset but just enough so it doesn't get in your way.

I got this thing just for use a short time before getting new turtle beaches. After a month I realized that it was sturdy enough and was pretty good as a mic. It is a bit dinky and doesnt have all the quality of a slightly more expensive turtle beach, but its good enough for one that uses it mostly to talk

I needed a cheap headset quick so I came to Amazon. Instead of hurting my wallet I found this seller and can I say it's definitely worth a try. The mic works great and no more echoes or saying something that is not heard by other xbox live friends. Thank you. A+ - Video Games - Xbox 360 Headset - Xbox Live - Headset'

Not much to say but CONS, lots of cons:

a. WEAK BATTERY, charge every 6 hours

b. ACTIVATION REQUIRED 24/7 ON YOUR FACE

c. LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE, they don't offer any solution even though i contacted them twice.

d. THERE'S NO EXTRA ACCESSORIES, THE PICTURES IS MISLEADING

VERY FRUSTRATING...

I was looking for the unlock cell phone for travel to over sea, found this Blackberry sound good for what I need for the price, then after received the phone try to used it turn out it need to activate from verizon service, this phone have to go back.

aw.

Now i can not say much about the phone because i have never received the item or blessed eyes on it now i placed an order with the OEM shop on the 5th of February 2011 today as i am writing this review is the 10th of march 2011 you do the math, this is how long ago i placed my order.from i placed my order i have been back and forth with this company (the OEM shop)trying to resolve this problem these people have gotten my money a month ago and i can not get it back up to now every time i contact them, as i don't have a phone number for them, i have to do so via emails they send back saying sorry for the inconvenience this company was dishonest from the start i ordered a phone that they knew they did not have in stock and i had to contact them after weeks of wondering where my phone was, not having a tracking number to find out from one person that it was on some kinda back order then it was out of stock and when it became available they will ship it. I told these people i wanted my money back they still ship the phone the, they recalled the phone in mid transit an sent me an email, mind you with such a matter i believe phone calls would be best but that's just my opinion, telling me that they will refund my money within 48hours to my knowledge 48 means within two days i received this email on the 7th of march 2011 it is now the 10th of march 2011 and up to now no one has contact me as to where my money is and when i will be getting it back this is my first time having dealings with this company (the OEM shop) and it has been the worst experienced yet i have googled trying to find other ways in terms of a phone number to contact this business to speak to a manager or someone in charge to no avail but what did come up on my Google search is posts and reviews of people who this company (the OEM shop) has done something similar to.To end off i would have to say people amazon is great because i have ordered stuff on the same day i ordered from the OEM shop and after and guess what i have already gotten my items but i have to say that the OEM shop will not be getting any more business from me other customers be aware you don't want to end up with the same problem i had. With that said i think amazon should have as a policy that persons or business who sell on Amazon need to put up more than an email address as contact info for those of us that end up having disputes like this because if you don't call (which you cant because there is no number) or email the OEM shop they wont contact you and tell you what is happen they need to realize people have to work hard for their money and don't wish to see it go down the drain for nothing again, Amazon is wonderful but the OEM shop needs to pull up their socks this is not a nice thing to be doing !!!!!!!!!

The phone is lovely and just what I needed. Unfortunately it was still locked onto a specific carrier and hence useless to me. The seller (OEM Shop) was unresponsive and has yet to resolve the issue. I had to purchase a different phone and get on with life.

I paid for 1 day shipment. They spend 3 days to move it from Brooklyn to Newark. In the end it was 5 days shipment. Nothing to say about phone cause I'm in another country now.

No answer for claims from amazon or seller. No comments :)

I purchased the Unlocked Storm because the description led me to believe that the phone would have full functionality on the all GSM networks. Unfortunately that was not accurate. OEM did contact me regarding some of the issues with the phone but they took two to three days to reply to my emails and would not call me to trouble shoot or fully resolve my issues. Because I was trying to get the phone to work following very cryptic emails from their technical person, I missed the 30-day window to return the product or a refund. The phone is still not working properly with our wireless carrier. I would not purchase this phone believing it will work with AT&T. I have always liked shopping on Amazon.com will continue to do so but I was disappointed with this vendor and the service I received. - Blackberry Storm - Blackberry Storm 9530 - Blackberry 9530 - Blackberry'
