Tight Active Pants
I've been in training for a half-marathon for nine months now, and several months ago I began investing in compression tights. This was my first ever pair, and I have been suitably impressed with them. They certainly do "keep you together" when running, and make longer runs (i.e. more than 10km) easier on the quads and hips. They are quite small though - I'm a US size 4 (175cm, 57kg) and expected the XS to fit around the waist and leg, however after checking the size guide I purchased the small and it was the right fit: buy a size up from usual, as they do run small. I'm happy with Sugoi and have purchased a number of their other compression tights since. You won't be disappointed. Sugoi Women's Piston 200 Tight, Black, Medium'

Screen Protector - clear, screen protector
I wanted to make sure I didn't mess up my iPod cuz I'm not a fan of paying alot of money for something and then it gets messed up. So I ordered these and am very happy with the product. It went on smooth and there aren't any bubbles at all. I'm writing this review from the iPod and I'm not having any trouble at all! It's smooth and perfect. This is a great screen protector; and I recommend it to anyone who wants to protect their iPod screen. splash 3-Pack of Masque Screen Protector for iPod touch 4G (Clear)
I ordered my Splash Screen Protector on October 31st from BlueHarborOnline and I received it on November 4th; fast shipping and the screen protector showed up in a normal envelope.
As stated, the product comes with 3 screen protectors, a cleaning swab, cardboard application card, & instructions. Its application is truly simple. You have protective plastic on both sides of the screen protector with tabs to remove the protective plastic.
Clean the iPod screen thoroughly and start the application process in a room with a low possibility of floating lint in the air such as a bathroom. When you're satisfied with the screen, take the included swab and cover the screen to prevent any floating lint from attaching while you are removing the first tab on the protector.
As soon as you remove the first tab, take the swab off the iPod and apply the protector at an angle, not all at once. Do not wait once you remove the first tab or floating lint may attach to the adhesive that you just exposed. When applying at an angle, if an undiscovered piece of lint shows up on the screen you can quickly remove the protector, swab it off and continue. The protector will create a bubble around any piece of lint so be careful. The cutout of the front-facing camera is overcut so if you line up the home button, the camera will definitely line up as well. You also have a little overcut on the home button so it doesn't have to perfect.
Once all sides of the protector are on the screen then it difficult, but not impossible, to remove it should you need to redo the application with an second screen protector. There is no residue left on the screen if you have to try again. Push all the air bubbles out with the cardboard while the second layer of protective plastic is still on. Don't worry if you see scratches on the protector, those are on the out most layer of protective plastic. If you have applied the protector with a lint bubble, then you will have to pry off the protector and start again with a new one. Air bubbles will come out easily however. Once all air bubbles are gone and you are satisfied, pull on the second tab to remove the second layer of protective plastic. It will appear that the screen protector was never really applied. The only way you'd be able to tell is by looking at the overcut of the front-facing camera.
It personally took me 3 tries to get this right. This was, however, my first time applying a screen protector and I suggest you follow the preceding instructions with detail.
Overall, I'd recommend this screen protector to anyone because its so easy to apply and relatively cheap for its quality and a pack of three.
I was amazed at this product.
As soon as you finish applying it, it DISAPPEARS. like a ninja.
You can't tell it's there!
To those people who rated this 2 or 3 stars, disregard them.
Applying this is SIMPLE.
They send you three. You'll only need one.
The key is to peel off only the top, and apply that firmly before proceeding to apply the rest.
You cant peel it all off and then apply it. That'll be harder.
The holes are a bit bigger than the camera or the home button, respectively.
And aligning them perfectly will be an arduous task, but fear not, it's still simple and still looks good.
This is a really good product for the price.
My only complaint was that the cleaning cloth attracted more dust than get rid of it.
Luckily I was able to remove all the dust and create ZERO bubbles.
I'm more than satisfied. I recommend.
This is one of the better screen protector products I've seen. The application is VERY simple. The protective covering that applies to the screen comes between two stiff plastic applicators. You peel off #1 and then apply the protector to the Touch. This stiff plastic allows the actual product to remain true to its form and not curl up, fall over on itself or bend. You can hold it by the edge and therefore eliminate fingerprints on the sticky side. After you get it lined up, it falls nicely in to place without massive bubbles. You then peel off #2 and you're done.
It comes with a cloth so that you can clean the screen before application. This is the most important step, because even one little speck of dust or dirt will get trapped. You get 3 screen protectors per package so if this happens, you have backups.
I highly recommend this product.
this splash Masque protector is [excellent].
i bought a ZAGG Invisible Shield for $25bucks, it came after over a week...and it was total crap. The material is like a rubber and takes away the signature smoothness of the ipod Touch screen.
for that 25bucks i was given only [one] protector, and the first time you attempt to apply the product you are guaranteed to mess up, it took so long to get it fitted on, i don't care, i'm your average consumer, Zagg Invisible Shield sucks total crap.
i bought this splash Masque protector instead after trying the 'widely recommended' Zagg Invisible shield..it's less than half the price, AND you get an [entire pack] of 3 protectors, so you have safety for error in application whatsoever.
and the kicker, the application procedure. it took less than 5 minutes to apply, i got it absolutely [perfect] on the very first try, hell i'll give away my other 2 remaining protectors lol.
and it's much smoother to the finger than the "military grade" Zagg piece of crap.
don't fall for the marketing crap, splash Masque is perfect in every way.
1 single con i will list:
this splash Masque pack of 3 protectors only comes for the front screen, nothing for the back, so you might want one of those additional cases that protect your mirror finish on the back =)
as said above, i come from a Zagg route, so i had a back piece already in place (the zagg product comes for both front and back panels) and i'm keeping the zagg back piece for now until i get another replacement of sorts.
splash Masque is excellent. it's my first time owning an ipod touch, first time trying out screen protectors, this was absolutely the best choice, can't beat what you get for the price. - Screen Protector - Ipod Touch 4g - Accessories - Clear'

4396508 - 4396508, fridge filter
We purchased this filter (AquaFresh WF285) from another online retailer as a less expensive alternative to our Whirlpool brand filter. Bad choice.
Immediately after installing it we noticed it was producing lots of very tiny black particles of debris in the water, even though we had run the recommended 2 quarts of water through it. Long story short, over 30 minutes and 20 quarts of water later, the water was still filled with these very small carbon pieces, almost like black dust.
We removed it and put our Whirlpool brand filter back in, and within 4 quarts the debris started to go away, and after 6 quarts the water was running clean again.
So, we assumed that we must have simply received a defective filter. Not so.
We contacted the online retailer and they sent us a new one in exchange, and the new one gave us the same exact results. We ran gallon after gallon of water through it (thoroughly rinsing the jug between fills to make sure we weren't seeing lingering remnant debris), and still the second replacement WF285 kept producing water filled with black carbon dust.
However, you do need a keen eye to notice it so I'm guessing that's why we haven't found other negative reviews of the product yet. We believe it's likely that most people simply don't notice the carbon dust after a few quarts because it's so fine, and I'm willing to bet that a lot of people are drinking some carbon-dusty water right now because they've never taken a close look at their water after using this.
If you have this product, fill a white (or very light) colored bowl or juice jug with it and let it sit for a few seconds and watch it under good lighting. You will notice that as the water settles the carbon dust begins to rise to the top and swirl together, making it more visible for people with poor eyesight.
We've switched back to the actual Whirlpool brand and our fridge water is perfectly clean again. Too bad, we were really hoping to save some money because the Whirlpool filters are so much more expensive, but it's totally not worth drinking nasty water from poorly made filters to save a lousy 10 bucks. This experience has us back to buying filters direct from Whirlpool now at a premium. Major bummer. AquaFresh Replacement Filter for Whirlpool 4396508
I bought this filter because it was the cheapest of the whole bunch. It really is true.....you get what you pay for. This filter doesn't help with the taste and odor of my water. I just purchased another filter from ABT that is the original filter for my refrigerator for $10 more and no shipping costs. DO NOT BUY THIS FILTER!
I have purchased 3 of these filters for my fridge. The first time I purchased 2 at one time so I could have a backup. 1 day after installing the first one, the plastic part of the filter broke and water QUICKLY started leaking from the filter onto the floor. I figured it was just a 1 in a million thing and put the other filter in. It worked fine for the 3 months until my little light told me it was time to order a new one. I ordered one and replaced the filter. One week later, pop, the plastic seal broke yet again and water again was all over my floor. I was very, very lucky to be at home and in the kitchen BOTH times they broke, otherwise I would have come home to a flooded house as the water comes out at full force. I would recommend spending the extra money for a different filter. I know I will from now on.........
Like DigitalMan's review, I too decided to try to save some money and get the cheaper AquaFresh brand filter. I ordered a 3-pack in October 2008 from another online vendor for about $76 (about the cost of 2 by Pur). I also noticed the black particulates (maybe charcoal?) when installing the first filter. I ran several gallons of water through it (much more than is recommended) and it seemed to clear up, although I forgot to check later on. Today, I installed the second one and I'm not going to try the third. I must have run about 4 gallons of water through the line. After noticing some particulates in the water of the large gallon pitcher I was using, I switched between tap water and the refrigerator multiple times using a wine glass, allowing for the air bubbles to clear out. The tap water was clear, but the water coming from the Aquafresh filter had black particulates and a few white fibers as well. It may not be harmful (who knows), but the Kenmore/Pur brand filters I used before never had that problem. I'm going to order the more expensive brand filters again and will drink pure Schuylkill Punch (what we call the tap water in southeastern Pennsylvania) until the new filters come. I still believe that many times you CAN save money by shopping around for a cheaper brand with equal or better quality, but in this case that's not my experience which is why I'm taking the time to write this review.
This product is the worse thing i have every purchased in Amazon. There is a bad after taste from the filter. After about a month im going to have to purchase a new filter, this time im going to buy a brand name.
Sorry to say but it's true - these just are not very good filters. In fact, I have one in my hands now brand new from the box and it's so filthy (& it rattles -???) that I refuse to even install it. It's no fun to hassle with the return/exchange but it's either go through that headache or throw $23 in the trash.
I bought this AquaFresh WF285 filter as a replacement, specified by this web site as "AquaFresh Replacement Filter for Whirlpool 4396508". When it arrived and I pulled out the old filter from the fridge, (a Whirlpool 4396508 filter) the new one would not insert into the fitting. I compared both filters side by side and, although both are the exact same diameter and length, the valve fitting at the end with the o-rings is completely different. It would not insert or allow me to rotate it 90 degrees into operating position. Be very careful, look at your existing filter and compare it carefully with the zoomed-in views of the one you're buying. They are NOT direct replacements. - Whirlpool Water Filter - Refrigerator Water Filters - Fridge Filter - 4396508'
