Gps Case - garmin case, case
I ordered this case for my Garmin and other accessories. I was truly suprised by the quality. The case is 12 inches long by 8 inches wide (I measured). It is a little larger than expected, but I am glad because all of the stuff that goes with my GPS fits just fine. It's nice to have extra room. It is made of some kind of reinforced nylon material. The description says it is a "hard case". Most think of a metal or plastic reinforced case like you would put musical instruments in. This IS NOT that type of case. It does have some give to it. If you were to push hard enough on it you can dent it and it will pop back out again. I think it can take a good beating before anything inside gets damaged. I just wanted a durable cash to put my GPS and other stuff in while I travel. This case does the trick. It's small enough to fit inside a carry-on bag or a back pack. The three small pouches you see in the photo have velcro on the back so they stick inside the case without falling out. The pocket also has velco and by pushing on the mesh pocket it "seals" to the grey velvet-liek lining for a secure fit. My GPS, all of the accessories, a camera, and a few other do-dads fit inside just fine. I like it because it has that "grab and go" type feel to it without feeling clunky or annoying to carry around. It has a durable zipper to close the case and it also comes with a handy wrist strap you can attch outside (maybe hook on another bag or over your carry-on? I haven't put it on though because I just carry it and put it in my car (fits easily under the seat or in the glove box) or pack it away. I give this product five stars, plus I think it is very well priced. I have seen similar products priced twice as much and passed them up. Yup, I'm cheap, but this product isn't. Give it a try. If you don't use it for GPS you can at least use it for a small camera, cell phones, or travel kits. Premium Hard Shell Travel Case for Select Garmin Nuvi GPS Navigators - to hold unit, adapters, memory cards and other accessories
I originally purchased a differant GPS charger & case combo from Accessory Genie. When it arrived I noticed that all of the items that came with my Gramin Nuvi 760 would not fit in the case. As a result I left a low review rating. Shortly thereafter I received a call from Alexander Rocha a customer Service Rep with Accessory Genie. He wanted to know what they could do to make me happy. He advised me that they have a larger GPS XL case and would be happy to email me a postage paid return label to send my original purchase back to them. Upon receiving my return they would send the new larger case prepaid. I received the new XL case and it is perfect. Everything fits in the case with room to spare, even two separate dash mounts. Although the case is not a true "Hard Shell Case" it is stiff enough to offer good protection. Accessory Genie went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Way to go Alexander. Thank you!
Don't be fooled. This case is NOT a hard shell as stated. At best it is reinforced nylon. It is easily crushed and at it's most "rigid" points I can easily compress the case with my thumb and index finger! The interior design is adequate for the purpose however the pictures show three interior cases which, indeed are there, each with a velcro attachment but there is only room for the two larger cases. The third smaller case is left to float freely! The case is a nice concept but that concept has not yet reached fruition! I was expecting a hard case and did not get that. If you are indeed looking for a hard case - keep looking...
The case contains my Garmin 1490T and all the accessories. The velcro "mini" bags on the inside let me compartmentalize my cables, suction cups and brackets for the windshield. The mesh divider also allows for several pages of the manual to be folded and carried with the GPS.
Very good hard shell case. Had just enough room to hold all of my gps gadgets which included the gps in its' own case, the owners manual, the windshield mount, three different power and battery charging cords and a couple of spare parts. It's getting full, but whenever I hit the highway, I grab the hard case and I'm off, knowing that nothing got left behind or in another vehicle.
The sturdiness of this case is just right, not to hard & not to soft. My husband an OTR driver uses it to house his GPS unit and cords. He uses the GPS in both his personal and work vehicle (tractor trailer) and the travel case to store & carry it to and from work and both vehicles each week. The only thing his wishes it had was a longer strap in addition to the carring handle. Since his hands are normally full when he's transferring his belongings from one vehicle to another.
Great little "big" bag for my Garmin - it fits everything in 1 place. Only thing - is it would be nice to have a handle. Right now it has a camera-like string.
Would recommend it to others who want a one-stop place for all their accessories. - Case - Garmin Case - Gps Carrying Case - Garmin Nuvi Case'

Kingston Technology - memory, 667
If you have 1 gigabyte of RAM or less and complain that your PC is too slow, my recommendation would be to first upgrade to 2 gigs and then make a sound decision.
My wifes computer had 512Ram, I just removed the old stick and put this one in and lo and behold it's immensely faster!
Very nice product from a quality company and of course from Amazon, a quality place to buy! Kingston ValueRAM 2 GB 667MHz PC2-5300 DDR2 DIMM Desktop Memory (KVR667D2N5/2G)
Many people do not consider RAM to be of much importance, but buying from a quality vendor who provides stable and reliable products can make the critical difference in system performance. Kingston has not only the quality, but also the price is comparable to the generic RAM. Kingston is worth the few pennies difference in price. Everything I do is based on an extremely tight budget, so I know how about bargains versus quality. I have two sticks of DDR2 667 in my new custom-built unit (MSI K9VGM-V with an AMD Sempron 3000+), and this Kingston RAM is performing flawlessly. If you are poking along with 256 or 512 of RAM with Windows XP or Linux, save yourself some headaches and order this RAM today. For me, Kingston has always provided excellent value, and it is all I suggest to anyone who asks.
Got two for my rig (ASUS P5B, E6600, GF8800) and they're both extremely performing. I can barely feel the difference between these and the OCZ Platinum I had before they crapped out on me. Good buy, and especially at this price!
The Kingston memory upgrade was a great addition to my sluggish computer. For a value memory kit, it really improved my computer's performance.
It took about 5 minutes to open my DELL computer and perform the simple installation. Within 10 minutes my computer was back up and running great. In vista system performance rating, the memory subscore went from a 3.4 to 5.9 and the overall system rating improved to 4.9 (from 3.4).
My wife always complained how long it took to change programs and do certain task, she hasn't made a bad remark about the computer since the upgrade...except to say "What did you do?"
The only thing I would have like to see was a cheaper price tag...but I like a very good bargain. Actually, I got a good bargain with this kit--I just always want more. This was a great choice for my PC upgrade.
This product is so good that I'm actually submitting the review. The quality is one of the best and the price is very reasonable. When I checked at Bestbuy or any other stores around me, 1GB ram costs somewhere around $100 so this product must be a buy if one needs it.
I trust in Kingston. At this time I have two computers and, of course, the memory sticks are from Kingston. It was an excellent purchase and everything I expected. In a few minutes I installed the stick and without any problems the system was upgraded. I use two Kingston ValueRAM memory - 1024 MB - DDR II ( KVR667D2N5/1G )with a Pentium D 3.4 Ghz at home. - 667 - Memory - Value - Ddr2 Memory'

Keystone Wall Plate - cat5e connector, gigabit
I recently ran cat 6 cable throughout our house, upgrading our home LAN to (wired) gigabit speed and (wireless) 802.11n. This new network replaced our old combination of 802.11g wireless and cat 5e cable. The cat5e cable wasn't installed that well, I must admit (as the installer). I'd run cables behind appliances, under and on top of baseboard molding, and through the floor in one instance.
This time I wanted a clean, professional installation. I spent a lot of time running cable through the attic and basement, drilling through joists, and fishing cable through walls. After doing all that work the last thing I wanted to do was wire up my own jacks. That's where these came in. I cut a hole in the drywall, fished the cable through hole, and had a professional-looking installation using this coupler, a low voltage old work bracket, and a single gang wall plate.
In two rooms I replaced the existing coaxial cable jack with a two hole wall plate, this coupler, and a keystone coax cable module. I've seen the latter called "F-pin", "F-type", and "F coupler". FYI, the bracket, wall plates, and coax connectors are all available at your local big box hardware store very cheaply. I didn't see any cat 6 couplers there, just cat 5e punchdown jacks.
I installed 3 of these around the house and they all work great. The computers at each spot all report a 1.0 Gbps connection. The coupler fits fine in either an On-Q keystone wall plate or a Leviton Quickport plate. The "CAT 6" embossed above the jack is a nice touch.
This coupler is highly recommended. After a weekend of breathing drywall dust and itching from fiberglass insulation it was nice to have an easy finish to the job. Click the coupler into the wall plate then click the cable into the coupler, screw the wall plate to the bracket, and the job was done. Intellinet, RJ45 Female to Female UTP CAT.6 Keystone Coupler, White
I wanted a wired ethernet connection from my office router to my tv in the family room. This ethernet coupler fit nicely in a Leviton faceplate(leftover from another project) that I mounted on the wall close to the tv. I didn't have to deal with handling the delicate wire strands on another kind of coupler. This coupler accepts an RJ45 connector from a regular ethernet cable and is perfect for my setup.
This connector does exactly what it says. I used two to run about 125 ft of wire from my living room to my home office. They are indeed a nice plain white. I only wish they were a little smaller so I could hide them easier. - Cat5e Connector - Keystone Wall Plate - Cat6 - Gigabit'

Heart Rate Monitor
I like this thing quite a lot. I've had it for about three weeks, and have used it on 12 workouts so far. I use it primarily for running, with biking a secondary usage. The main reason I wanted it was for the instantaneous readout of distance, running pace and heart rate, the latter needed for the speed work I want to do this running season.
The core functionality (distance and heart rate monitoring) works perfectly. There's none of the signal drops I've had with other heart monitors. Once the satellites are initially acquired, I've only had one dropout when I was outside. The initial acquisition of the satellites can be quirky and can take some time. The accuracy (according to the readout) is +/- 25ft, depending on how many satellites can be found. I've compared the distance measurement on the GPS with a known, measured distance on one of the trails I run on (the Chicago lakefront path). The GPS always increments a mile when I'm within 5 or 10 feet of the mile marker sign on the path. Well, I guess that's the least I should expect from a $350 GPS unit! Of course it's bigger than a normal running stopwatch, but that hasn't bothered me at all. The heart rate strap is also very comfortable and well-designed.
The display is crisp and has one outstanding feature: The information presented on the various pages can be completely user-customized. The default screen layout is rather poor, but in just a few steps I could replace it with the information I wanted to see while I run. There are almost 40 different data fields you can choose from for display. Examples: current pace, average lap pace, average run pace, heartrate, distance.
The only disappointment is the point-in-time (instantaneous) pace measurement: It varies wildly during a run. I see swings as big as +/- 3 minutes/mile. I'm a marathoner and I know my pace is fairly consistent during a run. I just looked at my run today, and according to the data the first mile varied from 5:57/mile to 12:06 mile. I suspect the problem is either in the averaging algorithm (too short a distance?), or in the uncertainty that results from different satellites coming in and out of view. The variations seem to get worse under tree cover compared with an open area. Luckily there's a lap-average pace that can be presented, and at least that value is useful and more accurate. The bottom line is that you can't look at the watch and say "right now I'm running 9 mins/mile". There is the ability to specify a pace smoothing factor, but I have it maxed out and still see the variations. The elevation readout also seems inaccurate, but that isn't important to me.
Upload of workout data to the PC software (Training Center) is transparent. The PC software is very good for presenting time/distance/pace/heartrate/calorie data. However the maps it shows are very crude. I've worked a bit with one of the online, subscription services (MotionBased). That looks really good and provides some additional functionality beyond the included Training Center software, although I still haven't decided if it's worth the $$$ yet for long-term data storage. MotionBased allows export to Google Earth, and it's tremendously cool to see your running path superimposed on a satellite image. You can recharge the unit through the USB port on your computer, although it's slower than using the dedicated recharger.
I had hoped that owning this device would prove motivational for me, and indeed it has. I can't imagine running or biking without it. Updating my training log is trivial now: Plug this thing into my computer, and it's done. My hope is that a future software update will do something about the pace calculation (maybe a few additional levels of smoothing?). If so, the Forerunner 305 would earn 5 stars+++.
Positives:
Flawless heart rate sampling
Great distance measuring and lap-average pace calculation
Seamless integration with a PC
Fully-automatic training log update
User-customizable display
Negatives;
Wildly-varying pace readout. Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS Receiver With Heart Rate Monitor
With a few one-star reviews, I was a bit hesitant to order this. Now, after two weeks of use (10 runs of 2 to 2.5 miles each), I have no regrets with the purchase whatsoever.
I haven't had any of the problems reported by any of the one-star reviewers. It syncs to the satellite in a reasonable* amount of time, seems to track my pace very well, tracks distance well, and the heart rate monitor seems WAY more accurate than the dedicated exercise machines at my local gym.
*by reasonable, it does take a minute or two to sync to the satellites each time. That's the only thing I could possibly think of improving, but it's not a big deal. Being the super-impatient person I am, I often turn on the watch, set it on my front porch, go back in and change into my running outfit, and by the time I come back out it's ready to go.
I haven't seen the pacing issues others have reported. I'm a beginning runner... but if I keep a solid pace... it reports about 10mins/mile... if I push a little harder... about 9mins/mile... if I let up... about 11mins/mile. It seems very consistent over my entire 2-2.5 mile run.
I have a 2.1 mile run where I've done the same exact route about 6 times... and when I compare the maps of each run... they overlap almost exactly.
I have thyroid and heart issues, and this watch gives me the confidence to know I'm not exceeding my max hr for too long (I can easily get into the 180's) and gives me the feedback and stats to keep me motivated.
Last but not least, I've bought dozens and dozens of items from Amazon over the years, and this is the first review I've taken the time to write - hope that gives you an indication of how happy I am with this product. ;-)'

Laptop Adapter Charger - laptop power adapters, laptop power cord
The replacement charger arrived quickly but I never deduct stars if the product arrives late as long as it arrives in one piece which it did.
The reason I needed another charger was because my wire in my original Toshiba Charger had come open and actually set some sparks off and burned itself during spanish class one day.
1. The jack is L shaped.
2. The power supply part of the this charger is lighter than my original one by at least 1/3. I think this is actually a good thing just for the lighter bulk to carry with me.
3. The power supply does not get very hot at all compared to my original charger which would at least get to 100 degrees plus and always felt like it was going to fry itself one day (which it did). I believe this charger is going to last me a long time. When I say this charger is barely hot, I literally mean it, the temperature of the power supply pack is only about 80 degrees. I took this temperature when it was charging my laptop for 8 hours continuously. There is no change in temperature.
4. It's very well constructed its built to last, its not one of those really cheap chinese manufactured electronic goods. (I'm Asian just so that you don't think i'm racist of something) just trying to relate.
5. The only con to the charger is the part where you plug the cord into the power supply and to the wall theres something weird about how it was made. This is really hard to explain but try to bear with me. The cord that plugs into the wall and the power supply pack that plug-in part to the supply pack for some reason does not let you plug the cord in all the way into the power supply because its like the manufacturer didnt' cut the cord down all the way for you to plug it all the way in. I am currently using my old power cord for this charger which works just fine, but just pointing that out.
In conclusion, the price is very unbeatable and this will last you sometime as long as you don't throw it out a window or use it to start a fire. The only complaint I had is the power cord strip. If there is any questions concerning what I was trying to describe feel free to email me at [...] Replacement Toshiba Power Supply Cord Ac Adapter Laptop Charger Satellite (Equivalent)
I have two Toshiba laptops which were different models, but the power cords were interchangeable. I bought this cord as a replacement. The price was great, but it only partially works. At first I was pleased because it seemed to work, but after sever hours of being plugged in with the new cord my laptop battery was still not charged. I thought it odd, so I rebooted and tried it again. It still did not work. I then tried in on my wife's toshiba as well and the same thing happened. It gives power to the computer, but the battery won't charge. What good it is really if you can't charge the battery? PS- I've tried charging the laptops with the power off and it still doesn't work. You'd be better off going with a different product!
EDIT: ac adapter started smoking and case deformed from heat! This was after only one week. This could have been bad. Thankfully my wife was home and smelled the smoke- this could have easily been a fire!
My Toshiba Satellite M305-S4910 charger gave out after less than a year, I had originally bought a Rocketfish RF-PRACDC Travel Laptop Power Adapter but it did not charge my laptop as it was never a snug fit to adequately charge it. I decided to give this one a chance and it works just like the original charger and has a very snug fit. Its the same size as the original but just so you know its a three pronged not a two prong, as my old charger. Its just a long as the older one and a bit thicker on the cord.
Do NOT buy this product!! I bought it for my 13 year old daughter who leaves her computer plugged in when it is in her bedroom. This charger worked for about 2 months and then suddenly just stopped working. Westronics wanted nothing to do with me or replacing the item which had a 90 day warranty. Upon examining this item again I realized that the adapter box was all melted! My daughter had this plugged in in her bedroom at night and it could have caused a fire!!
Old one stopped working. As I urgently needed my laptop for school (finals week!) I bought an expensive one I can't really afford at Best Buy. I wanted to then return that once I ordered a cheaper one online. Found this one, figured it would work. When it arrived, I returned the expensive one to the store. This one, however, only works sporadically. Within a single minute, it may go on/off several times. I constantly have to readjust it to get it to work. Sometimes it stops working when I don't even bump it. This is no good and not reliable at all! I am returning it ASAP and ordering something else that will hopefully actually work.
This item works great. I wasn't sure if it would work with my Toshiba A215-S5837 but it does - even better than the original. It doesn't get as hot as the original and the "L" shaped end seems to fit snugger. The cord isn't as long as the original but that not a problem for me. When compared to the prices in local retailers you can't beat this. I plan on ordering another just to have an extra one. - Toshiba - Laptop Power Adapters - Laptop Power Cord - Laptop Power Adapter'

Beautifully Designed Laptop Bag - beautifully designed laptop bag
Perfect size! Able to fit multiple books and my laptop inside. But it's not too bulky. I am very petite, so this bag is perfect for me. It's easy to carry and is the most comfortable backpack I've ever owned. Made of sturdy material. Great product. Everki Swift Light Laptop Backpack, Fits up to 17-Inch (EKP116NBK)
Everki Swift Light Laptop Backpack is a superb backpack for anyone with a 17" or smaller lappie who needs pockets, pockets and more pockets.
I am capable of stowing my 17" laptop, cooling stand, power supply, headset, various cords, wired gaming mouse and more into this very comfortable and stylish backpack.
This has been such a good backpack! I looked and looked for a very long time for the right backpack to carry around my computer for school (working on my dissertation so my computer has been my other child). I looked for durability, compartments galore, good price, and versatility. I needed the backpack style for a computer carrier because I carry many other things besides just my compute. I needed my arms free to open doors for children, carry kids lunch bags, school bags, managing keys and preventing accidents along the way, etc. This has been such a good bag for all that I need. I like the two outside pockets to carry my cell phone and keys because again, I need something that all my necessities are easy to reach, but are secure. Very good product for the price. I highly recommend!
This is a good value for the price. I was looking for a super light, small bag for my macbook air 13" but this bag was definitely bigger and deeper than what I wanted. I dont like bags with a million pockets and this bag has just the minimum spaces for storing things. Its a good bag, just not exactly what I was looking for.
Purchased this bag to carry by Dell Inspiron 15.6 laptop, it fits great with no problem. It also have several small pockets for other items like cell phones,Ipod Touchand like items. The internal compartment is large enough to carry extra items, accessories or books. The padded shoulder straps are comfortable.
I've been using this pack for about a month now and I am very pleased with this one.
The Everki Swift is beautifully designed, well made and very light. It holds my 16" laptop, a full sized trackball, CD case, headphones, a large textbook, a large notebook, 2 water bottles, cleaning cloth, several USB drives and my MP3 player with room left over, and keeps it all neat and protected.
It's sleek and comfortable to wear, the mesh-padded back keeps me cool and provides another level of protection for my computer, and the bright orange lining makes finding your stuff easy.
I've paid more for poorly designed packs that were bulkier and heavier, with cheaper build quality and mediocre design.
Everki is doing it right! I would recommend this pack to anyone looking for a carry solution for a large laptop.
I love this backpack! very roomy, hold all my books and my laptop with a secure slot. I rather use this than a messenger bag, because my old messenger bag hurts my shoulder, since i carry a lot of books, etc
So I recommend this product . - Beautifully Designed Laptop Bag'

for the price i don't think you can better assortment of panfish lures and jigs. if one color or style isn't working, you have something different to put on at your fingertips. it gives you a wide source of colors. Ready 2 Fish Panfish Kit
A useful, cost-effective set of jigs and lures in a nice assortment of colors. As advertised ('panfish'), these lures are scaled for fish around 6-12" in length. My son used some of these with his ultralight rod and caught a small bass his first morning on the lake, so this set gets his enthusiastic thumbs-up.
Many kits such as this contain items that don't catch any fish. However, I caught a number of bluegill in a relatively short time by using the green colored ones. The bonus is that I also caught several smallmouth bass using the same one. So I was quite happy and would recommend this kit to a pan fisherman or a smallmouth bass fisherman.'

Macbook Pro - usb microphone, microphone
Having misplaced my Blue Snowflake USB mic, I decided to give this recently introduced, competitively priced USB mic from Samson a try. (Samson is maker of the highly popular and effective Zoom personal digital recorders--the H2 and the H4n.) It's an attractive, fully outfitted piece of equipment, with handsome packaging (a small black box and zippered carrying case with aesthetics apparently inspired by iPod). It's smaller and lighter than the Snowflake--more diminutive than the picture would suggest. Yet the audio quality strikes me as being somewhat warmer and richer, favoring the bass frequencies of spoken narration more than the Snowflake, which has slightly cleaner and clearer definition at the treble end.
The Samson Go was seen instantly by my iMac, and recording was as advertised: "Plug n' Play." The mic is somewhat more sophisticated than the Snowflake in terms of "latency" settings (it permits direct monitoring via headphones connected to the mic to insure no delay, or lag time, between transmission and reception), and there's a three-way switch for directional patterns (the manual could be clearer, however, about the difference between "cardioid" and "cardioid 10 pad.") No matter. The mic performed virtually flawlessly right out of the box, with no tampering with the switch.
It's extremely sensitive, slightly more so than the Snowflake. Yet I was unable to avoid the "P" popping sounds, regardless of how close I got to the mic and muted my consonants. So be prepared for the addition of some sort of "pop filter" device (either one sold on Amazon or a self-designed one, using a nylon stocking).
The mic can be clipped to the top of a computer screen or mounted on a mic stand (using a supplied adapter or ordering a properly sized one from Samson). Yet with its heavy base plus the flexible, tilting mic, it can be placed on a flat surface--much like the Snowflake, but with greater stability and without any intrusive cable. (The Snowflake tends to "flop around," requiring some balancing of the device by the user.)
My biggest disappointment thus far is that the clip, as alluded to by another reviewer, does not open far enough for attachment to a desk-top computer (it should be an ideal fit with most notebook machines). Although the Snowflake doesn't use a spring clip, it suffers from the same limitation. If you're especially concerned about durability, the Snowflake appears to be the heavier, more rugged mic, with thick metal and no tiny switches or spring clips to wear out. The Samson is the more delicate and refined of the two. But don't kid yourself. Either mic will exceed the capabilities of your computer's built-in mic and perhaps the owner's expectations. On the other hand, neither is a match for the Shure SM7B that I'm accustomed to using at a local broadcasting studio. Still, Samson would appear to have a winner with this little wonder, whether it's used in conjunction with a computer to record full-frequencied music or "realistic"-sounding narration. Samson Go Mic Compact USB Microphone - Plug n' Play
In the realm of digital recording, the idea of a USB-powered condenser mic was really just an inevitability, but Samson has truly impressed me with their Go Mic. This little microphone has a surprisingly rich sound to it, and captures an impressive dynamic range. The transducer is a mere 10mm, but don't let the diminutive size of it fool you; you can capture some high-quality, professional sounds with this microphone. I use mine primarily as a to-go mic for my laptop recording studio, capturing vocals and guitars with it.
One caveat I would like to mention about using this device in a multitrack context: the use of the default driver for this device is definitely not recommended. Check out ASIO4ALL, a free driver that recognizes your audio hardware and gives them a generic but highly effective ASIO driver, which cuts down on latency big time. Definitely avoid the default Windows driver if you're looking for performance.
The great thing about this microphone is that it has a headphone jack on it, which further reduces the effects of latency in a multitrack context. While it does not reduce latency per se, it can remove the latency between what you hear out of your speakers, making multitrack recordings well-timed. The headphone jack was the deciding factor between this and the Blue Snowflake, which is similarly priced. I have no experience with the Snowflake, but I know it does not have a headphone jack and its clip with which to mount the mic on a laptop is free-hanging, not spring-loaded like the Go Mic. The thing I love about the Go Mic's clip is it will attach to either the top or the side of your LCD screen, which is handy.
If you're a musician who travels with any frequency, definitely look into the Go Mic. You can't go wrong for the price, and its size is tiny enough to stow away in even the smallest laptop bag (even netbook bags). The quality of sound is great, too. This product, alongside my Korg nanoKEY, makes studio productions on the road a reality for me, and I'm thrilled with my purchase. - Recording - Podcast - Microphone - Usb Microphone'

Flash Memory - sd card, memory card
I have not had issues with SanDisk in the past. However, I bought this card and it quit working after 6 months. I would have not minded if it had been replaced, but neither the seller or SanDisk would replace it(yet this listing is claiming a 5 year warranty). The seller would not replace because it was too long after their return period. SanDisk would not replace because their warranty applies to "Brand New in Factory Sealed Retail packaged products only". So I am not knocking SanDisk exactly, but the bulk cards. Great price, but if something messes up you're outta luck. SanDisk 2GB SD Memory Card (SDSDB-2048, Bulk Package)
We purchased this disk to use with our Nikon D50 digital camera. With high resolution pictures, we can fit 567 pictures on the disk. That's plenty to carry us through an entire vacation--or two. We have used the disk heavily for several months and clean it off several times a week and have had no problems with it yet.
I previously bought the same size, same brand at Office Max for about $35. That was for my digital camera. I had a 512mb one laying around that I was using for my Wii as a memory card, but when I saw this deal it was too good to pass up. These things are cheap, and if you ever feel that you'll need more (Like you're taking a lot of high resolution pictures on your "Sony Elph", or saving a lot of data on your Wii, or even downloading GPS maps on your Dell Axim PDA, having extra 2GB SanDisk memory cards is definitely a Boon.
A lot of technology uses these, and the price is extremely good.
This is a common thing I've found on the internet, especially on Ebay, but more and more on Amazon these days too. I selected several SD memory cards, placed them in my cart. When I went to check out, the total for the cards was about $70. The shipping was more than $85., and the tax was more than $12. The actual shipping charges would be less than $5. I don't know why these people do business this way. At best its dishonest, and at worse, its fraud. For me its a complete turn-off, and I won't do business with these kind of people. I just wish Amazon had a way for me to filter these merchants from my searches so I don't waste so much of my time. As this practice becomes more frequent on Amazon, I find myself using Amazon less. I can see a time in the near future where I'll only use Amazon for book purchases.
I placed an order for 3 of these SD cards, thinking they were are great deal at about $4 each. When I saw the shipping charge, though, I reconsidered. The SD cards came to $12.03, but shipping & handling was $18.97! Actual mailing costs has to be under $2 for these things, so the seller is luring people in with a low product cost and making a killing on the shipping.
Not much to say about this card. It's a leading brand. And the amount of storage is just great for the demands of today --- especially your camera. I use this in my Canon S3 so I know I have all the storage I need for stills and movies. I got two at a very handsome price here on Amazon.
Update: I used the card in my new Canon S3 and found it slow. It is not good with movies. So if you plan to take a lot of movies, you might want to check with your camera manufacturer to see what cards it accepts. I've bought a Sandisk Extreme 111, which is a super fast card. I hope I get better results with it.
I bought this card for $9.42 and had to pay $6.99 for shipping. I though maybe there's a reason, that the actual shipping price was high. Nope. It just came in a padded envelope and the postage in the corner said...58 CENTS! Now, come on. Where did my other $6.41 go? If they need it to make a profit, then they should just make the price that much more.
That being said, the card works great. No problems, but maybe you should buy it from a store rather than from Amazon.
I put three of these in my cart and the shipping was $18 !!! I live in the US so it was just standard shipping. This is a complete rip off when you think about it. The shipping on these cards is so inexpensive, seller is padding the shipping to make up for the cost. This price was put up to trick people into buying who may not notice the crazy shipping.
Do yourself a favor and buy any other cards than these. I will never support price gauging on shipping - its dirty and unfair.
The card is fine. I have others and they work great
BUT
I ordered two more SD cards and look at the shipping charges from the reseller.

Storage Cases - disk storage, case logic
Let's start with the outside of the wallet. The design is elegant, and minimalistic, with a slight curve down the left front side, also serving as a handgrip, and a line through the middle, along with the Case Logic logo. The zipper has a rubber tab attached to it, and it zips open and closed without any hassles. The entire wallet has a very durable feel to it.
Inside, each page lets you store two CDs, or a single CD, plus notes/game manuals. Pages flip easily, and discs seem easily to slide in and out as well, at least compared to the Velocity CD wallets which were recently on sale here at Amazon with rebates.
Zipping the wallet up, turning it upside down, and banging on it, one finds that the discs stay in place, and don't slide towards the top, again, unlike the Velocity CD wallets where discs often slides towards the top just while turning pages.
All in all, this is a very well thought-out CD wallet, with a nice design, and seemingly durable construction. After I got mine, I bought two more. This product is also made in China. Caselogic CDE-48 48 Capacity Heavy Duty CD Wallet (Black)
I like accessories that are functional and really work as they were intended and designed. Such is the case with this product. It holds CDs securely and safely. There is also room for accompanying booklets, manuals and the like. This CD Wallet is well thought out, functional and very durable.
I bought this product based on the excellent reviews it had gotten here on Amazon, but I admit that I am sorely disappointed. I bought this knowing that there was no handle as depicted on the case, so I will not count this against the product in the review.
My main complaint is with the CD sleeves. Both the cloth and the plastic parts do not meet expectations. The cloth is extremely thin and light, and feels like I could poke my finger through it if I tried. It is almost translucent when held up to a light. Secondly, the clear plastic part of the sleeves feel low quality, like they would tear or stretch after extended use.
If this is being used for its intended purpose of carrying CDs on the go, the hard shell exterior provides adequate protection. However, since the sleeves are of such low quality, my CDs fall out if the case gets shaken a bit. And, just to reiterate, there is no handle as shown in the product image.
Pros:
-Cheap
-Hard shell
-Zipper
Cons:
-Flimsy CD sleeves
-CDs tend to come out of sleeves
-No handle
I instead recommend
Bankers Box 64-CD Capacity Wallet with Built-In Cleaning Cloth, Faux Leather, Black 85129 / FEL85129, which I also own, as it is much higher quality and is still suitable for on the go CD carrying.
This fits in the small slot behind the stick shift. I had about 8 cd's there before with plastic cases that were always falling to the floor or the cases kept opeining up. This is perfect!! I love it. I slip the paper with the CD contents behind the CD. So compact and your Cd's are protected.
Product is very durable, holds alot and has been able to with stand a toddler! We bought two and will buy more in the future as we need them. Both of mine didn't come with any handles.... I wish it did. Otherwise it looks just like the picture.
This case is a good buy.
The firm/hard outer case feels sturdy and I feelmy discs are well protected.
My only complaint is that the sleeves for the discs feel flimsy and a look a bit cheap, so I hope they hold up to the constant usage of the discs.
It would also be nice to have a handle (just a suggestion)
But other than that I am satisfied.
I have a couple nylon softer-sided cases. Because the sides are stiffer and bubbled out a little bit on this one, I think this one will provide a little more protection when banging around behind the seat of the car. The item I received doesn't have a handle like the one in the picture; I'm fine with that, but it's worth noting.
I've been a fan of Case Logic wallets for years; I'm generally a very active person who hauls his disks around for trips both short and long. I've owned some Caselogic wallets for 8+ years without ever having to replace it.
Such is the situation for this Case Logic wallet. I've carried it around with me in Iraq for six months now, and it generally lives to its standards. Solid and crush-resistant, very durable, the only problem I've had with it is its tendency for one or two of the plastic disc holders have ripped. But such is the case with such heavy wear/tear. If you're like me, storing both album art and CD in the same sleeve, it's what you need. It also has a side pocket on the inside front cover for me to store back inserts and/or miscellaneous excess DVD/CD material that comes with the packaging.
Buy this if you're mobile; buy it if friends tend to step on your case; buy this if through no fault of your own your cases are constantly abused. It'll survive a war and then some.
Pros:
+ Durable
+ Damage Resistant
+ Inside Pocket
+ Tear Resistant Binder Pages
Cons:
- Slightly fragile Plastic Disc Holders - Disk Storage - Case Logic - Computer Accessories - Cd Case'

Oven Heat Resistant Gloves - oven mitts, gloves
Perhaps the previous reviewer bought an off-brand of these gloves; there are several imitations out there, and his purchase wasn't "Amazon Verified".
You know that worrisome feeling you have when you quickly move a pot or dish from the oven? Gone. These gloves provide you the use of your fingers, so you have far FAR better control over hot items, without rushing. I've removed salmon from under the broiler (at 500 degrees) without feeling even a warming sensation, something that I'd always felt, even with expensive silicone mitts. I can hold pots removed from the oven (at around 400) pretty much as long as I could want, and am able to take them straight to the table without pausing at the counter to remove (and reset) my grip. The one tiny drawback is that you can't immediately slip them on; they take about 10 seconds to put on versus the few seconds it takes to put on big mitts. I really hope the manufacturer makes pot holders in the same style and fabric in the future.
I bought these because my wife burnt the oven mitt. So far I love it.
I use the oven a lot for broiling and cooking. These gloves definitely protect your hands and the wrist. I was able to hold on to an iron skillet at 450 degrees for about 10 seconds before it started to get uncomfortable. Grasping cookie sheets and pizza stones...etc are a breeze. Very convenient to have the use of all your fingers. They have silicone pads/patches on the outside for extra grip and more insulation. A word of warning though, those silicone pads get really hot on the surface so be very careful not to touch them immediately after handling something very hot. That's my only gripe. It's a little weird to actually wear gloves as opposed to an oven mitt but you stop caring once you see how convenient they are.
Absolutely would by them again. A pair for $25 I think is a fair enough price. Remember that these gloves don't make you invincible so use them with common sense.
. . .don't get out of the kitchen - get a pair of these oven gloves!
I needed to replace my circa 2002 set of 'Ove' Glove Hot Surface Handler, 1 Glove because I could no longer tolerate how OVER-SIZED they were. I used them and liked the concept, but the sloppy, enormous fit made it a challenge to handle hot items, which pretty much defeats the whole purpose. The fabric was also slippery, so I also wanted to upgrade to the newer version with the silicone grips. I tried on a pair of Ove Glove Set of 2 at the store, but they were still enormous on my average-size female hands.
Reading through the oven glove options on Amazon, not only was this brand a real value at the 2-for price, but the reviews seem to indicate they might be a bit smaller and fit my hand better, and indeed they do. The benefits of fingered oven gloves have doubled for me now that I have a pair that really fit, and the addition of silicone provides an amazingly secure grip as a bonus. I've used mine a dozen or more times now and conducted my own heat tolerance test. Taking a baking sheet from a 400° oven, I held it for 20 seconds with no burning sensation at all. I suspect I could have gone another 20 seconds or more, but that was good enough for me. I am extremely satisfied with these oven gloves.
This is the first time someone has designed an oven glove that is long enough to save burning the wrist area when reaching into the oven to remove a casserole. I took a chance, but I am glad I did as I have not had a burn since I purchased them. I have sensitive skin so the burns I had were serious, now no burns. I would recommend them to anyone that does a lot of cooking and baking to prevent burns.
I highly reommend. For Thanksgiving I cooked a turkey that had to be turned over in a 425 degree oven. I pulled the bird out and grab it with a glove on each hand. No problem at all. I couldn't feel heat and the bird didn't slip. Of course the gloves got dirty but they go in the washer and dryer. They are great for flexibility as well as protection.
I'm a size 7.5 in women's gloves. These gloves really didn't fit.
They measure 5" across the palm and each finger (including the thumb) is 3" long. From the tip of the middle finger to the base of the hand is 8", and there's an additional 3" cuff past the base of the hand. Since the material is pretty bulky, I'm guessing they would be most comfortable for someone with a glove size of 9 to 11 and relatively wide palms.
There were a few minor defects in the weave, but the fit is the bigger problem for me.
And there is no sign of a butterfly embellishment, so I guess that was a complaint made about a different model.
I have wanted these for quite some time. It is a wonderful product. I have large hands and a regular "pot holder" is not big enough and I always seem to scorch my thumb taking things out of the oven. This glove is GREAT! I got 2 of them so I can grab the oven rack and pull it out or push it in, and I can grab a roasting pan and turn it with one hand, while basting with the other and both hands stay cool. When baking BREAD i can just turn over the pan with one hand and grab the loaf with the other hand with no problems. It takes a LONG time of holding something to even BEGIN to feel any heat. I HIGHLY advise that you get this. GET 3...2 for YOU and 1 extra for someone is helping you in the kitchen. These are the BEST! - Cooking - Oven Mitts - Potholders - Oven Mitt - Gloves - Ove Glove'

Dell Replacement Ac Adapter - dell inspiron adapter, dell replacement ac adapter
I had ordered what I thought was an AC Adapter/Charger from another seller for about the same price. What I got was a piece of junk that wouldn't charge my Dell Latitude E6500. It was late and when I tried to contract the seller, I received no response at all. I found this charger at Osprey Talon and I couldn't be more pleased. The product is exactly what I needed and it works perfectly. It was shipped very quickly, saving my computer emergency. The entire transaction with Osprey Talon was seamless, start to finish and I will definitely use them again. If you're looking for a great product at a great price, then this is the one for you. I give it my highest endorsement! HQRP 90W AC Adapter for Dell Latitude E4300 E5400 E5500 E6400 E6400 ATG E6500 E4200 Laptop/Notebook Replacement Charger/Power Supply Cord + HQRP Coaster
Looking at the other reviews, you'd think this cord would have actually lasted longer than two months. It didn't. After two months of use, the cord began to beep incessantly and stopped charging my laptop. If you want a good cord in the short-term, this one worked pretty well, but if you don't want your cord to suddenly break down a few months in, buy something else.
When my original ac charger broke, my laptop battery was completely run down, rendering it useless. I found this charger listed at amazon, and ordered it with overnight shipping. Even tho it was late afternoon, Osprey-Talon got it to me the next day. It works perfectly with my Dell Latitude E6500 and I am thrilled with the service!
I agree with the other reviewer. This is a great power supply! It's not made for every laptop under the sun. It works with the laptops listed, the price is great, shipping was fast, packaging was nice and simple. I couldn't be happier.
I ordered this power supply for my laptop computer (Dell Latitude E6400). I was a little concerned about power level compatibility but it worked just fine. It is slightly heavier than the original power supply supplied by Dell but otherwise very satisfactory.
Got this AC adapter for a Dell Latitude E6410, for less than half the cost of a genuine Dell adapter. Nice long cord, works great, doesn't get too hot, and I can use the 2-prong plug anywhere, unlike the 3-prong plug that came with the laptop. I'm tempted to order a spare! - Dell Replacement Ac Adapter - Dell Latitude Adapter - Dell Pa-10 - Dell Inspiron Adapter'

This year I started doing daily SAT words with my 9-12 grades. This book was a perfect resource!! My students rarely get as excited as they did (today) when we did the word description exercise! These are 10th graders!! It was very encouraging to see how excited they got and how anxious they were for me to read their work!
I highly recommend this for any teacher who teaches vocab words! From my own experience as a student, most students don't learn just by memorizing words and them filing them away. These activities help instill them as a part of their 'permanent collection'. It's worth every penny! High Definition: Unforgettable Vocabulary-Building Strategies Across Genres and Subjects'
