Travel Converter - plug, power plug adapter
This is what I learned about european adapters...
We traveled to Berlin, Germany and I had heard mixed things about voltage converters and adapters and what you needed for European travel. I bought these converters as well as a voltage adapter (SIMRAN 200 WATTS STEP DOWN CONVERTER MODEL SMF-200 FOR TRAVELLING OVERSEAS). The converters were perfect because the outlets in all the houses in Berlin were circular and these were a perfect fit. I also discovered (through a lot of research) that most electronics (DVD players, PSP, etc...) have adapters built in to the power cords and if the adapter reads 100 - 240v, than it can be used in Europe with just the converter (no need for the voltage adapter). We brought a dvd player, a PSP, a video camera and a gameboy DS. The only item that required the voltage adapter was the DS. I am not even sure I needed it, but I didn't want to fry it either so I used it to be safe. Hope this helps! This was the information I was desperately searching for before our trip. VCT - PLUG ADAPTER - CONVERTS GROUNDED USA PLUGS TO EUROPE PLUG-GERMAN SHUCKO PLUG (VP 11W)
This is a great little EuroPlug. It takes up very little space in my bag, compared with some of the other more bulky models. This will work fine in many nations, but not the UK. I've used it in Spain, myself. Also not that this JUST allows your device to "fit into the wall". It does NOT adjust the voltage from Europe's 240 to USA's 120. For most electronics, this is just fine, but read your adapter to make sure it can handle 240! I used it on my laptop, iphone and digital camera, without issue. Don't try something like a hairdryer though!
Bought these before moving to Sweden for a long term assignment. They work perfectly. Just be sure the device you use them for is capable of accepting 220v. Most computers, etc have an ac/dc converter that will handle the difference. I've been using it for two weeks with my laptop and have had no problems.
Works great in Germany as long as your device supports 240V input (most laptops do, check the fine print on the power brick just to be sure).
Purchasing the adapter in advance of my trip was a good choice; saved me a few headaches that the other foreign students are now encountering.
I got a bunch of these for my extended European adventure. They seemed to have a nice design. The problem is that they are not build very well, the inside metal parts are very weak and often get out of alignment. Some of them were twisted before I tried to use them, some of them bent the first time a tried to plug in a device. overall about half gave me problems. if you will keep something permanently plugged in, it's not going to be a big issue, but if you will plugging things in and out, it will be. The other (smaller) issue is that they don't actually fit powerstrips that well. I imagined that they would be flush with the top of the strip, but instead they stick out a bit.
With all that, they may be the best deal you can find :)
We recently went to Austria and the Czech Republic, and purchased several of these adapters for the trip. They worked well for recharging cell phones, digital cameras, IPods, and our laptop computer, but we needed a voltage converter set (purchased separately) to operate my wife's hair dryer, curling iron, and kids' Nintendo DS.
I bought three of these for a recent trip to Italy, given the statement that the device "works in Europe". I tried them all in every outlet I could find in Rome, Tuscany, Florence, and Venice, and they DO NOT FIT Italian outlets. The pins are correctly spaced, but the diameter of the pins is too large to fit. Be warned.
Bought a few of these plugs prior to moving to Spain. They fit very well into the socket and have a real nice low profile design. Can't get anything similar to that here locally. I wish I had brought more with me.
This is by far the best adaptor plug I have tried. Best of all is the fit. It fits extremely well and will not relocate itself, like some cheaper adapter plugs, even though you plug in a heavy converter. It will work with grounded as well as non-grounded equipment and outlets. I Have not tried to plug in any British electrical equipment into it, so I wouldn't know about that. - Europe - Power Plug Adapter - Adapter - Plug'

Secure Digital - 16gb sdhc memory card, secure digital
This is one of the first Class 10 SD cards that is actually affordable and doesn't cost much more than Class 6 cards. At regular price it can be a bit expensive, but catch a sale and it's a great deal.
Performance wise the card is great. I have tried it on 3 separate devices, all of which take HD video. The first was a Panasonic Lumix point and shoot camera. Set to take 720p 30fps video, the recording start and stop times were noticeably faster than my previous Class 6 card. When I performed a Delete all content, this card cleared a bit quicker than before. I also used the card in a Canon T1i and there was no lag for shooting both 720p and full HD video. With a previous Class 6 card it worked well, but occasionally there would be a hiccup in recording, especially full HD. The last was a HD pocket camcorder and again, no issues as recording was smooth and starting and stopping was instant.
Download performance is also improved with this card. I would say data downloaded to my computer at the very least 25% faster than with a Class 6 card, which may not seem drastic, but when moving several GBs of data it makes a difference. I also uploaded data from my computer to the card and the same difference was evident.
Overall it is a great memory card. Is it worth updating from a Class 6 to Class 10? If you are using a point and shoot camera and do not take HD video, then probably not. If you are using a quality DSLR camera and/or shoot HD video frequently, the upgrade to Class 10 would be worth it. If you are getting a new camera and will be shooting HD, go for the Class 10. If you will not be shooting HD, a Class 6 will be ok but if you can get the Class 10 for close to the same price, go for the 10.
Overall I can highly recommend this Class 10 PNY SD card. PNY Professional 16 GB Class 10 Hi-Speed SDHC 20MB/s 133x Flash Memory Card P-SDHC16G10-EF (Black)
I bought this card just to give PNY a try since Amazon lowered the price again. I also have the popular Transcend 16GB class 10 so I decided to do a quick test. I did read and write test with a full DVD ripped movie which is about 5.58GB and has combination of large and small files.
Test setup:
- Ripped full DVD 5.58GB
- Intel workstation, dual quadcore Cpus
- External USB card reader.
- Stop watch
- 64bit Windows 7 ultimate
My result
Writing test:
PNY............Transcend
14.2MB/s......17MB/s (Speed reported by windows)
7:00 mins.....5:45 mins (stopwatch)
Reading test:
PNY............Transcend
19MB/s........19.2MB/s (Speed reported by windows)
5:19 mins.....5:18:55 mins (stopwatch)
So far the Transcend beat the PNY in writing test.
I put both cards in my Canon 60D, both started slowing down after 20 frames, frame size is M-Raw. I also noticed the time to clear out the buffer is about the same for both.
Overall, both cards are fast enough for my Canon HD camcorder and Canon 60D video capture.
I bought this card for my Canon HD camcorder so the slow writing is not a problem to me and there is no reason to return for the Transcend.
I would recommend the Transcend if the PNY is more expensive.
Correction:
I had the read test result swapped. In reading, the PNY is bit faster but it's negligible.
Reading test:
PNY............Transcend
19.2MB/s.......19MB/s (Speed reported by windows)
5:18:55 mins...5:19 mins (stopwatch)
Update 5/27/2011
Some reviewers complained that the card doesn't work in FXP and MXP mode. I found that both my PNY and Transcend class 10 don't work with my Canon HF200 which released long time ago, works with class 6. I don't think it's the cards fault but Canon cam doesn't support. If you have newer camcorder then I don't think it's a problem. Otherwise, get Transcend class 6 instead and problem solved.
Not much to say...........compatible with everything I've tried it in including older digicams from Nikon and Canon (works great in my Canon TX1). Love having the 16gb for HD stereo video - up to 4 hours of video goes on the card! It writes fast and so far has performed flawlessly. The best thing is though that it was $29.99 from J&R for the first couple of days it was up on Amazon - I ordered 2 and the price went to $46 quickly.
I have PNY RAM in my computers, so I decided it was worth trying out their SD cards for my camera. The other card I had was a 8GB class 2 card. Stepping up to class ten was a revelation, it is truly a performance increase for my pentax k7. Video recording is much improved (more responsive, faster start and stop) and the stills are almost instantaneous. I'm quite satisfied with my purchase, especially given the price being very competitive for a class 10 card.
Tried the formatted card in my Canon T1i/500d. It took about 14 seconds to refill the buffer of 9 RAW photos (each was 16.3 MB). This leads to about 11MB/sec write speed. I've read that my camera's internal circuitry is capable of at least 17 MB/sec. I also tried writing a file to it using my SD reader on my computer and I get 11.5 maximum sustained write speed. For the price and 16GB capacity the card is good but PNY advertised this sucker as 20MB/sec sequential write speed. Read speed I get 16 MB/sec.
I purchased this product based on the review here. It is not the speed demon I thought it should be as a "class 10." Overall, I think this card is just as good as my Transcend 8GB class 6. I tested these 2 cards on my Canon T1i using continuous shooting in both RAW+jpeg, and Large Jpeg. I then timed how long it took these shots to write to the card before it "recovered" and readied for the next shots. These are the underwhelming results:
The 8GB size is recommended by Canon for my camera. Good enough for 254 of the largest RAW+Jpeg photos. Larger capacity should work fine also.
Transcend 8gb, Class 6:
RAW+Jpeg: 5-6 shots, 10-15 seconds recovery respectively
Large Jpeg: 33 shots, 10-11 seconds recovery
PNY 8gb, Class 10:
RAW+Jpeg: 5-6 shots, 14-20 seconds recovery respectively
Large Jpeg: 38-49 shots, 15-17 seconds recovery respectively
I am not in need of continuous shooting. After 4000 photos on my T1i, this test was only the 2nd time I used continuous shooting. I took 1 star away because of the disappointing speed tests. If I had a "to do over" I would purchase more of the cheaper 8gb class 6 cards or a cheap 16gb class 6. For a Class 10 card that functions as a Class 6 card, this PNY product is OVERPRICED. - Secure Digital - Sdhc - 16gb Sdhc Memory Card - Memory Card'

When it has came down to Michael Jackson, people have rediscovered his music for the way it was, not the heartbreak of the past several years he had went through. From the years he was accused of being a child molestor from the exhausting trial he undergone back in 2003-2005, or his heartbreak of his personal life in the spotlight from his crumbled marriages or the plague of his debt he suffered in the light. At the very end of the day, it is his music that remains the test of time. But when people had found out that there was leftovers Michael was pumping up into the spotlight, before he had passed on, many people pondered to know if the songs were good. Well, yes and no from the Michael album. But when it comes to the ballads, like the song Hold My Hand with Akon, he really delivered a simple chemistry with Akon that remains elequent and noble. While it wasn't as strong as his better ballads like Man In The Mirror, it showed he was heading back into the right direction. If there is a song that is worth downloading from Michael, Hold My Hand is that one.
Song: B 1/2- Hold My Hand (Duet With Akon)
I really love this song, i play it over and over while i am driving. in fact since i got the 'Michael' album i am playing it all the time. i know most of it was unfinished but its definitely Michael and its so wonderful to hear him again on new stuff. I know there's controversy but at the end of the day music is what Michael did and we need to enjoy it, its his legacy to us and his children.
This song calls us to be united and support each other. it also sounds great with Akon.'

Toddler Clothes - rain suit, toddler clothes
I purchased this for my daughter's one year old who spends part of every day in the diary barn. It's not hard to imagine what sorts of things can be gotten into in a barn and milk house, but my daughter says that she can just unzip and peel off the Muddy Buddy and her baby's clothes are not even damp. She's thrilled that she's saving so much laundry as well as keeping her daughter dry. The suit is full-sized enough to put winter clothes under it with room to spare and it's a chubby baby we're talking about.
This Muddy Buddy is a winner! Tuffo Muddy Buddy Overalls (18 months)
I purchased this for my 13 month old that just started walking and likes to get outside to get fresh air every day. While I don't want him to go out in pouring down rain, I did want him to have something I could put over his clothes after the rain had passed so he could go out and play without coming in soaking wet. This is perfect for him! I purchashed the 18 month size and had to roll up the sleeves. My son is on the "healthy" side and this fit easily over a sweatshirt plus bubble jacket. He was nice and dry. This may fit through the next season. I will reccomend this to my friends with toddlers who want to go out in wet weather. It is made of nice material and doesn't seem like it will rip easily. It is going to get a lot of use.
I gave it 4 out 5 stars because I haven't put it through the wash yet.
This is a really neat item to make outdoors activities less hassle. Just zip the kid in, let them do whatever mess there is and zip them out again. The material is a good quality, and the zippers appear to be pretty sturdy. The hood also has a good fit. The only thing I do not like overly is the fit, which is extremely wide. It is good that other clothes fit in below, as the overall is not insulated, but the waistline would be sufficient for 2 kids including winter gear.
Every kid loves running around in the rain and splashing in puddles. For the parents, that generally means you're dealing with a soggy mess of clothes, and keeping the time short since you don't want your little one spending too much time in sopping wet clothes (especially if it's chilly out!) These overalls are the ultimate solution - they can run, jump and splash until they're exhausted, and when they're done their clothes are still dry! These are very well built, and have held up to a LOT of abuse from our 3yo - here's a video of the overalls in action: [...]
I have to say that this is one of the best purchases I have made for my boys! It rained a great portion of the summer but I could put them in their suits with rain boots and let them play outside. They have also had a great deal of mud caked onto them. I was concerned about them not getting clean, but after throwing them into the wash, they came out great! My only concern with them is when they were around our campfire. Not sure how flame resistant they are but like anything, we just keep our distance. They run a tad big so they fit over clothing, but I purchased mine about a size larger for bulkier clothing like sweatshirts etc. Definately worth the money! Kept kiddos clean and dry!
I bought it for my daughter a couple of years ago and now I just bought other 2 for the boys!! absolutely indispensable!! my kids live in the garden and this tuffo suit is easy to take off and on!!! i suggest you to buy it!
I have a son 2.5yo and daughter 13mths. I bought them each a suit because we just built a new home and the yard is a mud pie. I must say they are plenty big to wear warm clothes under (ie. jackets, flannel jeans, sweat shirts etc). The suit keeps them clean & warm and are very easy to take on and off. I definitely recommend the "haz mat" suits (what we affectionately refer to them as).
Absolutely love the Tuffo Muddy Buddy overalls. I cannot say enough. My son was size 24mos - 2T so I ordered the 3T knowing he would be drowning in it. But it still fit because of the elastic wrists and ankles and the material is not bulky. Sure he looks like a huge yellow M&M. (My husband calls it a hazmat suit.) It's really safe - motorists can easily spot him on the gloomiest of days. The double zips make it quick to get in and out. The seams are taped and there are short storm flaps behind the zippers. My son would not wear a snowsuit this past winter. I wasted a bit of money trying different snowsuits/snow pants but nothing doing. So I put an extra layer of fleece on him and zipped the Tuffo Muddy Buddy Overalls over, paired with snow boots, velcro-close mittens and hat. He loved the snow after that. Now that he's size 3T - 4T it still fits! We go out every day rain or shine. Even for a rainy day at the beach it was perfect! The elastic bottoms are a little tough to get over his size 9/10T rain boots but they stay put and he doesn't get any water in even with vigorous splashing. He pulls his hands into the sleeves to keep them out of the rain. He doesn't sweat/overheat in it and it doesn't leak. He's always dry when we take it off. I think the material feels funny to him because he prefers a baseball cap on his head with the hood over. Definately buying the next size when this one gets too small. Wish they had adult sizes!
It was not an easy choice to buy this over the 2 separates. However I like it a lot! Easy to put on, very easy to wash. Child ( I have a very small girl who starts to explore the world) likes to put it on. Is is light and easy on her little shoulders. - Toddler Clothes - Rain Suit - Rain Gear'

Construction Tools - toddler, black and decker
I bought this toy for my two year old sons birthday, along with a take apart toy truck. This tool set is AWESOME!! He absolutely loves these tools they are great for motor development and they are quiet durable. There are all sorts of fun things in this set a drill which he takes everywhere, a saw, a flashlight that is surprisingly bright, goggles that are super cute and i love how the box states they are not intended for actual protection for your eyes LOL. There is a tape measure and a level. This toy was worth the price simply because my son loves it sooo much.. Couldn't ask for a better toy set for a toddler who loves tools and mechanics just like his daddy! Highly recommended... Black & Decker Junior Drill Play Set w/ Carrying Case
I purchased this toy for my son when he was 2 and he loved it. He is now 4 1\2 and still plays with the drill and flashlight. He brought this toy to a recent family function and my 2 year old nephew decided he had to have one also. So I bought another drill set for my nephews 3rd birthday. He loves it! My sister in law said he plays with it all the time and that it is his favorite toy. I think its a great gift for 2-5 year olds. It has also helped my son and his step dad bond. When my husband is drilling so is my son.
My son loves this toy set. He uses the drill and light often and sometimes uses the googles. The batteries seem to last a fairly long time and it's nice that you can change the battery pack from the drill to the light. We left the plastic in the case so it's easy to put away and carry around.
my 3.5 yr old, LOVED this set until the light went out - I replaced the batteries, but no luck - found out that the bulb went out and cannot be replaced, atleast not that I have found a way...horrible! $30 for something that worked for 4 days!
So my 16 month old loves tools just like mommy and daddy use, so I knew he would love this drill. But, just like daddy's Black and Decker set there is only one battery pack, so you can not use the drill and the flashlight at the same time. So just like daddy, your child can be totally annoyed having to change back and forth. Why did Black and Decker not think that you might need to see with the flashlight while you are drilling something? So when my son is playing I have to switch the battery pack back and forth every 5 minutes, because he is too young to figure out how to do it himself. I like the drill that came with the Step 2 tool bench better, since it actually drills screws and goes forward and backward.
My 2 year old daughter received this for Christmas. She immediately started "fixing" grandma and grandpa's staircase with the drill. She insisted that everyone try on the goggles. The only problem is that there is only one battery pack and the flashlight and drill both need a battery back. She can't change the battery pack yet on her own so we have to do it for her.
My son got this tool set for Christmas. He thought it was the greatest toy ever. He played with and loved the drill for 5 days before we got batteries. Once we installed the batteries, the drill proceeded to work for about 3 minutes before it stopped "drilling". This effectually made the drill the worst toy ever, because he knows what he's missing.
If I had it to do over, I'd never put in batteries and I'd have a happy little boy.
My son is 2 1/2 years old and loves lights and is always playing with my drill. He loves this toy and loves changing out the battery to switch between the light and drill. The only thing that would make this toy better would be if it had two batteries instead of one, but then he wouldn't have had to learn how it comes apart and go back together. Seems pretty durable but he only started using it at Christmas. Either way, it would still be worth getting. - Construction Tools - Black And Decker - Tool Set - Toddler'

Adjustable Velcro Straps - securing straps
I use the straps around my pants legs when I am riding my motorcycle. This prevents the cold wind from blowing up the pant leg, and believe me, it is COLD! I used rubber bands before, but these are much easier, they're adjustable, don't snap, and look a lot better around the bottom of my jeans than 2 rubber bands. I am going to tell everyone in my motorcycle club about these. I am also ordering 2 more to use on my jacket sleeves. Velcro USA 90107 Velcro Brand Wrap-A-Strap Fastening System
I bought these velcro straps to secure some of my pants that I wear around my ankles while riding my motorcycle as they tend to crawl up my legs while riding. My jeans don't do that, just some of my cargo and other larger fitting pants. These work perfect for that and they lenght is just right. If you ride a bike and have experienced this, you know what I'm talking about. I think this is a great fix for it. Would highly recommend.
I use these for my pants when I ride my bike around the city to/from work. They work very well. I didn't know they came in pairs in the packaging. Used the extras to strap my bikes to the top of my car. Works very well. - Securing Straps'

Gift For Girlfriend - gift for women, hanging jewelry organizer
Bought one of these for my fiance for her birthday. Was easy to install on her wall. She beams about it and seems to love organizing, and reorganizing her jewelry. Plus, I think we're actually less late for outings now that she can find the right "set" faster. She thinks I'm a genius. Awesome buy! BelleDangles Classic Jewelry Organizer
For years all my jewelry was stuffed into a box, drawers, all over... i could never find anything let alone untangle it. NOW I have the best pieces hanging up and have no problem looking good with the right accessories! The Belledangles fits all of my best and favorite things and i havent gone back to my old jewekry box for anything.. out of sight out of mind they say!
Love my Belldangles! Its in my bathroom where i get dolled up and I have hair stuff and a candle on top!
Before I had the classic BelleDangle organizer, I "lost" my favorite jewelery in hard-to-find boxes, drawers and small cases. Now, at a glance, I can see my favorites right before my eyes. And it holds so much that my most frequently worn pieces is easily seen. Quick and easy to install, the BelleDangle organizer is one of the dramatic touches in my bedroom. I love it!
I purchased my BelleDangles and hoped that this would keep my jewelry organized and in plain view. I love fun accessories, but would forget about pieces because they were hidden in 3 separate jewelry boxes. This organizer was perfect! It holds all of my jewelry in ONE place! And I can see each piece every morning as I am getting ready. I couldn't have asked for a better solution! And I love that the shelf on top turns it into a wall unit that I put picture frames and a candle on, making the presentation classy! It was super easy to hang and I had it up within 5 minutes (without my husband's help!) I am telling all of my friends because I don't know 1 female that wouldn't LOVE this piece! I am getting my sister and mom each one for their birthdays this year! There is also a new kid's version for little girls in Pink. I think I am going to buy one for my Goddaughter and each year for her birthday I can buy her another piece of jewelry! I would definitely recommend this product to everyone!
I hung my BelleDangles up in my walk-in closet. I don't have too much jewelry so I keep alot of my purses, scarves, and ring boxes on it as well. Love how organized my closet is now. I actually loved it so much I bought one as a gift for my daughter!
I can't say enough nice things about this jewelry rack. After a long period of procrastination, I've finally gotten all of my jewelry untangled, organized and put on this amazing piece. Seriously, I've had the chance to wear several of my necklaces that I had forgotten existed, because I could see them while I was putting together my outfit in the morning! I feel like it's a big money-saver, because I'll be wearing things I already have that I forgot about or couldn't get to in the old tangled mess of my jewelry box, rather than buying new things and losing track of them, too! Thanks, Belle Dangles!
This jewelry organizer is very sturdy and I really like that it's pre-assembled with a shelf on top! It's perfect for holding all of my accessories and barely takes up any space in my room. I am so happy with this product, definitely recommend it!
I absolutely love my BelleDangles. I received it as a gift from my husband last Christmas. I pretty much have all my jewelry and accessories hanging on it in my closet, it keeps everything organized and untangled. Much better than my old jewelry box!
This is a great unit! I outgrew my old childhood jewelry box years ago and finally caved that I needed a newer solution. This arrived exactly as pictured, holds and displays everything nicely, looks great on the wall, and they even sent me an email with instructions/tips for installing it, which was also a simple process. This was definitely a great find. - Gift For Women - Gift For Wife - Hanging Jewelry Organizer - Great Gift Idea'

These movies are awesome, of course.
Amazon on the other hand, is lying about what they are selling. The movies are low-quality fullscreen format. They don't actually have a widescreen version, and they'll give you the run-around and hassle you to ship movies back for a replacement only to get yet another fullscreen formatted set of movies. Will they ever fix this page? nope. Will they continue to lie and trick people into purchasing this, hoping to catch people who won't notice and won't return it until it is too late? Yes.

Cuisinart Coffeemaker - hot water dispenser, great coffee
Since we don't usually need a full pot of coffee except on weekends -- I typically just grab a Starbucks "Via" instant coffee on the way to work in the morning (a pretty remarkable innovation, by the way) -- I was attracted to the hot water dispenser on this coffee maker. I like it particularly because of its 58-ounce capacity -- meaning that you don't have to keep refilling it if you're just using it once each morning to fill a car mug. My wife prefers tea to coffee, and she loves being able to get a cup of really hot water whenever she likes. (We fill it with spring water, and the results are superb.) I haven't had any problem with the "add water" light, as another reviewer apparently did. I was concerned about squandering energy by keeping a reservoir of water constantly hot, but it doesn't. It keeps only about 13 ounces of water at serving temperature; the rest of the reservoir is unheated. It doesn't take all that much energy to keep 13 ounces of water hot. And if you know you won't be wanting hot water for a while, you can just turn it off with the on/off button. I had expected it to heat water instantly through some kind of coil system -- much like an under-sink unit does -- but not so. As a result, if the unit hasn't been on, there's about a 3-minute wait for the water to reach the right temperature. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish the hot water dispenser were programmable in the way the coffee maker is, but it isn't. You have to start it manually. (No - you can't use an outlet timer because the unit has an electronic on/off switch.) I also wish the hot water dispenser had a temperature adjustment (the coffee maker does); the water it dispenses is so hot that I have to wait for several minutes before I can drink any beverage I make with it. Finally, some Cuisinart coffee makers have a strength adjustment but this doesn't. But these are minor quibbles; it's still a great appliance. The coffee maker itself works as well as an automatic drip coffee maker can -- always a function of trial-and-error at the beginning (what kind and how much coffee you use). It uses a cone filter (#4) -- which in my humble opinion always delivers better coffee than the flat filters used in so many other coffee makers -- including a lot of Cuisinart models -- and the water is sprayed onto the coffee by a showerhead array in the reservoir lid. (Tip for review "Me2": Pour water into the coffee maker by putting the lip of the carafe on the rear LEFT corner and pour it in that way. It's a lot easier and you won't spill any.) Cuisinart CHW-12 Coffee Plus 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker with Hot Water System, Black/Stainless
My last old Cuisinart bit the dust so I was in the market for a new one. I had also been in the market for a water kettle but really did not like the idea of having one more appliance on my counter top. When I checked out the Cuisinart web site to see what was new I was blown away by the idea of this coffee maker that also dispensed hot water!! I was so excited about it I had it sent overnight.
I have only had it for a day but oh what a wonderful cup of coffee I had this morning and right now I am loving the convenience of having hot water available for my tea drinking!
Pros: Everything!! In perfect working order and I was able to follow the manufacture's instructions on hot water without any problems at all! Best cup of coffee I have had even counting my old Cuisinart!
Cons: Only 1 negative so far. It is awkward pouring water into the coffee maker side and I guess I will need more practice at this to keep from splashing water all over everything.
So far extremely pleased with my purchase!!
A product that makes me want to change my "Unhappy" nick! It doesn't apply here.
Easy to set up, easy to use and cleanup. Has a setting for brewing a small pot (thank god I cant drink 12 cups every day) when needed. Programmable for having the coffee ready when you are.
1) Pouring the water in the top if you use the carafe isn't as easy as it could be to prevent spills. I have simplely dedicated a small kitchen funnel to the task. Ten times easier now.
2) I have to start buying better coffee! It makes coffee correctly. I can now tell the difference between coffees. My old Mr Coffee produced the same old black sludge no matter what you put in it. I used to avoid coffee because my coffee maker produced bad coffee and I never liked the too dark roasted stuff Starbuck$ is serving up. On vacation in Hawaii I took a tour of Greenwell Farms Coffee Plantation and learned I like GOOD coffee. (Meduim roast Kona coffee FTW! get the 100% Kona wherever you get it, avoid anything that is a "blend" its 90% non Kona and not very good. Who wants a cup of 90% bad coffee mixed with 10% good?) My old coffee maker couldn't brew it right and this one does. I'm not a coffee snob, I don't know what the temperature of the water is, I don't roast and grind my own beans(might get a grinder though now):) I'm not going to spend the time to make it is a vacuum press or fool around with a cemex, but I know that better coffee made in a good maker is distinctly better. This coffee maker makes better coffee than the 3 others I have had (all super discount since I didn't "like" coffee)
I know if I used a french press or some other fussy method and did the special coffee rain dance "coffee people" say it would be even better. But I want to have my coffee ready at the time I set. I don't want to have to stand there and fool with it, just pour and enjoy. Plus I now have a hot water dispenser I've always wanted. That works well too. I think I'm gonna go pour another cup...
As a coffee addict I'm very picky when it comes to coffee makers.....this is by far the best coffee maker we've ever owned! Makes great coffee~I love the clear carafe and the ease at which you can remove it, unlike others we've owned. The hot water feature is genius!! great for a cup of tea, hot chocolate or oatmeal~ very easy to clean....highly recommend!! - Hot Water Dispenser - Coffee Maker - Great Coffee - Coffeemaker'

Bicycle Tube - schwinn, bicycle tube
After buying this and putting it in my MTB it gave out and popped in less than a month of use. If you are looking for a tube that will hold up well to any abuse look for the AVENIR thorn-resistant tube for only about 9 bucks! Schwinn Universal Tube (26-Inch x 1.9 / 2.125)
If you remember Schwinn products as being the best as I did.. forget these tubes
these are brand new tubes in brand new tires and leak about 3-4 lbs of air per week.. requiring constant refilling
both tubes are the same.. both leak.. neither have been damaged or pinched
I have replaced these with my old tubes as they did not lose air
This is the first review I have written and the first product I have received from Amazon that was so poor I felt the need to warn others
I bought these because my local walmart was out of bells, or they were so poorly shelved, that i couldn't find them with the others.
I got these from a local target... unfortunately, it really does leak slowly! i installed it 3-4 days ago onto my mtb, pumped it up to 65 psi, just checked it and it's already around 58 psi! that's horrible!
I think i will try a thorn resistant one next time, maybe thicker rubber will compensate for the poor manufacturing.
I purchased this after the 'self sealing' tube exploded. The price was great and it's been a couple of months since install and no problems so far. I commute to work on my bike and it's been reliable and I've had no problems.
I got this item and I made a mistake of trying to deflate it manually by pressing the valve. Result - the whole valve is now full of this blue stuff they put to prevent flat tires and it leaks the air as a result. I have to get a new tube and it won't be something with blue goo inside as in this one....
i bought these tubes to replace the ones that came with my Schwinn meridian trike the ones that came with it were thin an leaked i have not installed them yet but they are 3 times thicker than ones that came with trike i will follow up after i have used for awhile better price than going to local store - Schwinn - Bike Tube - Cycling - Bicycle Tube'
