Coleman Stove - compact  stove, coleman stove

I bought this stove primarily to use for emergencies or when I experience a power outage but I like that I can also use it for camping (note, it is not a backpacking stove, it's too bulky and propane is too heavy for that). I was a bit surprised that the base is a lot larger than it looks in the online picture. This stove can accommodate 12" and even 14" pots and pans. While this may seem like a positive, for me, I wish it was slightly smaller. At least it can be stored in a cupboard vertically.

I also wish the stove came with a carrying pouch or case, but it does not.

The stove performs and functions perfectly well and seems sturdy and well built so all in all for the price, I'm happy with it despite the few negatives I've mentioned. Small propane tanks are cheap and readily available for about $1.50-$2.00 which is a real plus. Coleman PowerPack 1-Burner Stove

Purchased this in place of a larger bulky stove. The unit has sufficent heat and stores nicely.

The two issues I dont like are:

No real control over the burner, setting it to low can be tricky. Coleman needs to redesign the valve

Second is the top grating, better have larger pans or coffe pots. The grating is fair.

I have used thi unit for 4 years now its nice for the size.

This is a very easy product to use, but note that it is larger than a small burner that I thought it might be. I used it very easily the first night I had it out at the campsite, and it worked to perfection without any troubles at all. I would recommend this to anyone who does not need multiple burners or to those who do not camp all that often. I camp out about 3-4 times per year, and this will suit my needs quite well. Only gave it 4 of 5 stars due to its bigger size, but it puts out plenty of heat for my purposes.

We have used this stove as our main cooking unit at our cabin for a couple of years. It was intended as a back-up to the white gas fueled two burner Coleman camp stove, but this one has taken over due to its cleaner burn and better economy. Propane works just fine in the heated cabin where it gets used. The large, low base makes it a fine unit for general cooking duties and provides a safer, more stable cooking platform than many portable stoves do. This stove does not have as high a heat output as some units, but it is plenty as we have proven when we've used it for canning salmon with the 22 quart pressure cooker a few times. I've seen the complaint about its inability to be controlled easily at lower settings. While I will admit that some fuel burning units are easier to use in this regard, I guess it had never occurred to me that this unit was very problematic. I've never had any trouble simmering rice or reducing the vigor of the coffee percolator after they come to a boil.

I am not sure if it is the burner size, the close line proximity to the bottle or just the fact that this stove¡¦s burner does not compete with another burner for fuel, but this 7500 btu stove outperforms any 10000 btu stove that I have ever owned and with a max output of 7500 btu¡¦s it pretty simple math to understand that you don¡¦t need to carry near as many propane bottles, nor do I find myself having to mess with changing bottles right in the middle of boiling those shrimp I just pulled out of my pot ยบ

The size and design of this stove makes it easy to find a stable area to setup and handle larger pots. I would pack two of these stoves over taking any two burner stove that I have ever used. It is just an awesome little stove

Louis

My wife and I love this product. Now, it's not for backpacking, but it does work great as a car camping or base camp stove. It does require one of those disposable propane tanks (which can be tough to dispose of), and it might make sense to get the carrying case (not seeing it attached here). But besides that, a great, simple stove which can be used in all kinds of conditions.

I have some nephews starting into boy scouts and was interested in a stove they might like. I liked the idea of one like this versus ones that sit on disposable tanks since it looks more stable (as well as being able to connect it to a bulk tank if wanted with a hose). Looking at the online pictures I liked the way this one looked with round bars for the pot support (versus bent sheet metal supports in similar ones) and thought "That looks better if someone did try to carry such in a back-pack since it won't have knife-blade like edges easily ripping into things". So I ordered one up even with seeing some reviews of "This is bigger than I expected" thinking it may be ~8-10 inches across versus ~6-8 (and not seeing anyone giving dims on it). The truth is that the main body is 12 inch diameter at the base, it is almost 14 inches across at the feet (the widest points) and the pot support bars will hold an 11 inch diameter pot with it sitting flat on the horizontal parts of the bars. So maybe that tells you more about how "Big" it really is versus pictures of it alone (that are hard to scale with no comparisons). This also explains to me why it goes for over $30 versus many single burner stoves going for $15-20 (that I wondered about too before ordering it).

I'll keep it since having this may be as good or better than many 2 burner stoves (where putting a 11 inch pan on them ends up with almost 1/2 the pan hanging off the edges), but I hope this helps minimize surprises for others of you considering this.

This burner is a good burner for emergency or when you need to cook at the patio or even on the dinner table. I have been looking for a single burner I could use for cooking on the table. This single burner is a perfect fit for that matter. For outdoor uses, this one may not be ideal as it lacks wind-barriers. However, this is small enough to carry out for picnics. Easy to use, but the instruction says you need to check for leaks using soap water etc... So that is not as simple as an upright burner. However I don't mind as I needed a stable one for pots and fans. - Compact  stove - Coleman Stove - Camping - Camp Stoves'

Lcd Tv - lcd tv, led

I honestly didn't know what to expect. I bought this TV on sale at Best Buy for 100 dollars off. I was in the market for a new TV, actually my first TV purchase.

After a week of use, I am very very pleased with my purchase.

The picture quality is fantastic. Every aspect of the picture can be customized- how warm the picture is, brightness, gamma exposure, etc. Let me say, out of the box the picture was great, this options are more for if you are very particular.

The sound quality is adequate. Not the absolute best, but it is a very solid TV. My dad's bravia's sound quality is a lot worse so I am thankful that this setup is good.

As far as features are concerned- it has all of the standards (sleep timer, auto-on/off, etc). It is missing picture-in-picture but this seems almost irrelevant for the size of the TV. I am throughly impressed with the number of inputs and outputs on this TV. 3 HDMI ports, 2 regular RCA (red, white, yellow) inputs, and the PC cord. The PC cord input even has a headphone audio input! This makes using my long cord very easy and converter free.

As a note, I use the TV with my PS3 and PC, and both look and sound fantastic.

I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone. LG 32LK450 32-Inch 1080p 60 Hz LCD HDTV

The set up is fairly easy although I found the manual to be lacking in more detail, especially concerning a better explanation of some of the features.

The HD picture is just AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL. I did increase the "Sharpness" from 70 to about 90, but otherwise, left it on 'AUTO'. I thought the screen might be a little too big for my computer but I was totally wrong....it is just great! I do not have a HDMI connector for the PC, only the RGB, but it is still just outstanding. Hook-up was a matter of just connecting the plugs.

The sound is better than good, but not great. I like it and it does seem to have some legitimate "surround sound" quality.

I was going to give it 4 stars because the non-HD channels are just good, and acceptable; but, the more I look at it, I realize it is actually pretty good. So, it warrants 5 stars.

I have seen a number of HDTVs, especially in showrooms, and this one seems to be better than those. It truly has an amazing picture with HD and I am very pleased with the purchase.

UPDATE 07/09/2011: After tinkering with the set for a month or so, I have been able to improve the sound considerably.....and it was pretty good to start with. A few tips: Under "Menu", then "Audio:, make sure the Clear Voice II:ON 3 is turned on. I use "MUSIC" mode also, with treble of 82 and Bass of 70. These changes give me a really nice sound.

With the picture, it has improved also although it was astonishing before. I went to "ADVANCED" and you can mess with the categories to fine what suits you. I would make the sure the "Dynamic Color" is on "HIGH". Enjoy!!!

I'm finally coming into the 21st century with a flat panel HDTV. When the big switch came to HDTV, my satellite provider said their signal would be adjusted and I wouldn't need to upgrade the receiver or my older 27" Zenith since it was still functioning perfectly. Recently, my Zenith started acting up so I started shopping for a new TV and settled on the LG 32LK450 1080P. All I can say is WOW!!! I'm sorry now that I waited so long to upgrade. I connected it to the receiver I was using with the Zenith but will be having the satellite system upgraded to HD next week. With the awesome quality of the picture already, it is hard to imagine it could get any better. I'm not a techno geek so the audio for me was fine right out of the box. All I had to do is take it out of the carton, attach the stand, and plug it in. When turning it on the first time, there were a couple on-screen settings to put in order then it was ready to enjoy. Amazon had the best price I could find so they got my order. Standard shipping took a reasonable 7 days from their warehouse to my house. I like this unit so much I'm now looking at buying a second one in the 42" model.

The brown plastic strip across the bottom looks like a sticker and we feel that it actually makes the TV look cheaper than it is. Solid piano black would have a cleaner look. -1 star on "curb appeal".

The first set we received came with a dead pixel in the center but the second one is good so far. -1 star on having to replace first unit.

Other than that, this is our third HDTV and the details are what you'd expect from 1080p. Side by side with the Samsung equivalent (both tv's set to default settings) the colors are noticibly less vivid. Even when toying with the settings, it just doesn't have the same WOW factor. For almost $100 cheaper, ~25% at this price point, worth the minor sacrifice.

All in all, happy with the purchase and would buy LG again as long as they continue to price lower than the competition.

This TV is really nice looking and super lightweight. Right out of the box and hooked up to Cable, free local HD looks Phenomenal! SD looks really good too. I've seen a lot of HD TV's and this picture is the best I've seen! No tweaking. Just changed the picture mode to "vivid" and it looks unbelievable. Save your money and get 60 mz. There's no difference. And it doesn't have the weird effects some 120 hz have. I really like the menu on this too. It's all in a circle onscreen that rotates...really cool and simple feature. The sound on this is awesome too! Can't wait to watch a Blu Ray on it.

My wife and I purchased this hi-def LG TV for our NJ condo, which we rent out during the summer season -- the smallish size fit our smallish living room perfectly and the price (419) was right ... it arrived in several days and we set it up for renters due to arrive in a few days. It was a little tricky fitting the table stand pieces together (not as easy e.g., as the Vizio or Olevia TV stands -- talking about the "feet" and platform that snap onto the TV chassis to enable it to stand on a table). But my wife figured it out. The set up was an expected breeze, the remote worked perfected, and the HD picture was as good as any I've seen. Also, there is an easy aspect-ratio selection feature, so you can watch 4:3 movies in their original framing instead of having the picture drawn out to 16:9, which makes everyone look fat.

The one issue that could be improved here is the sound-system. We do not have an external home theatre set-up in the condo, so we used the TV's sound; unfortunately, the speakers are located on the bottom side of the screen -- i.e., pointed downward toward the TV table. That obscures the sound a bit, makes the volume lower than if the speakers faced out -- worse, the TV volume is not very powered, which means the volume cannot be cranked up as loud as one might want. LG obviously adopted this design to improve the appearance of the unit -- and it works! The set is beautiful -- (no visible built-in speakers to mar the appearance!) In our small unit we wouldn't want to play the TV overly loud anyway -- so as not to bother neighbors. And, in any event, the sound situation would be improved by hooking it up to a home theatre. - Led - Lg - Hdtv - Lcd Tv'

Gel - pen

I could no longer find these ink pens at Walmart, Target or Staples, so I was really glad when I found them on Amazon.com. I like the way these pens feel in my hand and like the way they write. I hope I can still get them the next time I need some. BIC Velocity Retractable Gel Pen, Medium Point , 0.7 mm, Black, 4 Pens (RLCP41-Blk)

This pen is perfect. Price is unbelievable for the quailty, comfort and reliability. The comment from Nov 24th actually caused me to load up on these as I FEAR the possibility of not being able to find more next time I run out.

We use these Gel pens exclusively in our small office. They write smoothly. They get a lot of use, so don't last too long.

Con: ink will smear if you rub across it right after you've written something.

I have been looking for these pens for about three years. I finally found them at my local Office Max and couldn't be happier! I've tried several other retractable gel pens - Zebra, Pilot, other Bic styles - but they all pale in comparison. The barrel is easy and comfortable to hold, the length is great, and the ink flow is remarkable. Honestly, these pens make you write better! Will never use another retractable gel pen that isn't the Velocity.

These pens are reasonably priced and very comfortable. The rubber grip makes it easy to hold and control. The ink flow is smooth. For a gel pen, the ink seems to dry relatively quickly. Overall, I am very satisfied with these pens, probably my favorite gel pens from among the many gel pen choices available.

Very nice! I got these pens because I wanted something thicker than the usual 0.5mm tips and these certainly do the job. 0.5mm pens are all well and good for fine work, but when I want something that stands out more, this is it.

I do find that the ink is a little thick when you start, but that's because of all the gel at the ball point. Once you start writing the ink will even out. The ink dries quickly. Overall, if you want writing that stands out nice and thick, this is it!

Like others, I bought a bunch of these online because I could not always find them in stores. They are by far the best disposable pen I have ever used, and I fear the day when I can no longer find them. They are quite comfortable to use and write in thick, dark ink...although it is more prone to smearing (right after writing) than some other pens. - Pen'

Blackberry Curve Skin - blackberry curve, blackberry accessories

This case is really great. For my old blackberry I had a hardshell case, thinking it would be more durable because I drop my phone all the time. But every time I dropped it, the case broke apart and did nothing for my phone. This case is amazing because it stays on and protects my phone. It's more durable than the silicone skins that are popular for blackberries. I would definitely recommend this case to anyone! BlackBerry Curve 8520 / 8530 Thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPU) Skin Case - Clear Zebra Skin

I ordered this case for my new Blackberry Curve 9330 and I love it! The zebra pattern is so cute, but subtle enough that it doesn't look like I have a 13 year old's phone. The case is very durable and fits the phone perfectly. I would highly recommend this case, its such a good case at a very low price!!!

I ordered this for my Blackberry 8520(T-Mobile service), and it fits great! I love the feel of the case. And the zebra PRINT adds more style to it. It's flexible, but not rubbery. Great case for a great price! You won't be disappointed.

I got this case for dirt cheap - $.50 - Can't beat it! It's a durable, fashionable case that fits right over the back of your BB Curve and hugs it perfectly. The material is very flexible, so you don't have to struggle to get it over the back of the phone. I love this subtle zebra design because it's not too flashy. All of the buttons, camera lens, and ports on my BB are accessible with the case on. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it from friends so far, some of whom thought I got a whole new phone. I would definitely recommend purchasing it. You won't be disappointed!

I ordered this product on the Feb. 9th and received it and on the 12th so the delivery was pretty speedy. The case does look a bit different from the picture the seller provides, but in all it fits my phone and I generally like it. The material is is kind of thick but for me that's a good thing; it keeps my phone from getting all scratched up. I wouldn't suggest getting this if u have the white 8520/8530 because u won't really be able to see the zebra print, but it's cute against the black.

This case protects my BB Curve to the utmost extent while looking very stylish. I was worried that it would look cheap because it is clear but it really adds flare to my lavender BB Curve. I have gotten many compliments on this case. It is definitely worth the price.

Wonderful case! Zebra stripes are made of a frosted effect of the plastic. Very cute! Case isn't flimsy at all; it's very solid and protective, moreso than you'd expect from a skin case. Highly recommend!

This is the perfect case for BB Curve 8520.

PROS

- Looks sleek.

- Fits case perfectly: Silicone cases look bulky and do not always fit Curve snugly.

- Material is ideal: Hard plastic cases break within days due to cheap construction. TPU is perfect hybrid of hard plastic and silicone, giving the illusion of hard plastic cases but feel of somewhat silicone.

CONS

- Case does not reach all the way to the LCD light as other cases do, so it takes a moment to adjust to the look. Overall it does not affect performance.

- Actual product on phone is slightly lighter than illustrated in the picture.

OVERALL

- Perfect product.

I love my case. The case is very flexible and it is easy to get on and off the curve. It makes it slightly more difficult to use the side buttons, but not so much that it is inconvenient. Unlike the naked Blackberry, it is quite resistant to slipping out of the pocket. After scratching it up so much, I decided I needed a case. I haven't got a net injury to it yet, even though I have dropped it a couple times. - Blackberry Curve Skin - Case - Blackberry Accessories - Blackberry Curve'

Surround Sound - wii, home entertainment

I recently purchased this projector as a replacement for my near-vintage Sharp XV101TU, whose bulb decided to blow out on me. In the process of shopping for a replacement projector (or trying to decide whether to just replace the bulb - nothing but love for my 25 lbs projector from the early 90's..) the Optoma PT100 caught my eye.

I admit my main draw to this projector was the price - which was less than a mere bulb for your average projector - and the fact that THIS bulb would never need to be replaced, as it was powered by LEDs. I dove headlong into purchasing the projector knowing full well LEDs couldn't replace the luminescence of a metal-halide bulb, but the lure of never having to shell out $300 every year or two couldn't be denied, and I was willing to take a chance on the 50(!!) lumen output.

Now here, we get to one of the main points I uncovered from doing projector research: ALWAYS be extremely wary of no-name projectors. You probably already knew that, but pay particular attention to the "brightness" department. Many list their brightness as 400lm, or sometimes even 1000+ lumens, or worse yet, not at all. This isn't very scientific, to be sure, but if in doubt, try and see if you can find a Youtube video or the like demonstrating the projector. After seeing various nameless LED Chinese projectors on Youtube and comparing them to legit 1000 lumen projectors, it seems pretty obvious their brightness stats are a little inflated (not to mention, if the typical Samsung or LG LED projector projects at 200lm... you gotta wonder). I say this because I noticed that with a 50 lumen output, this projector really seems to be a lame duck when considering no-name eBay projectors have an alleged 1200 lumens for the same price. But I can assure you, no-name projectors almost never live up to their descriptions, so do your homework! Better go with a lower lumen projector from a reputable manufacturer than a knock-off claiming a million lumens, in my opinion.

That said, 50 lumens is no sunbeam of light, but I currently have it set about 14 feet away and for watching a movie at night, the 80+ inch image is awesome. Of course, you do want to be conscious of what you will typically be using the projector for before you purchase. Yes, the ability to be satisfied with a given brightness is subjective, but only to a point. If your primary purpose for getting a projector is watching Dark Knight over and over again, 50 lm will inarguably be a little dark for your needs (pun intended) - most LED projectors probably will be. For your average movie or Wii game, however, this projector performs brilliantly. Keep in mind though, nighttime use - or with a good set of blackout curtains. If you're looking at daytime gaming... again, add blackout curtains to your financial calculations (or start moving your gaming chairs to the basement). On the positive side, the projector is extremely portable, so if you have a room that's naturally darker than others, it's easy to move.

A note about screen size: like many inexpensive projectors, there is a fixed throw ratio - in other words, for you camera savvy folk, no zoom lens - the screen size is in direct proportion to how far the projector is placed from the screen/wall.

Many of you probably have concerns about the resolution - I certainly did. Yes, 480 is pretty old-school tech, no getting around that - the projector IS $199. Keep in mind though, that it is 480p (all LCDs, DLPs, and Plasmas, to my knowledge, are progressive scan), so it's a squeak better than standard definition (I believe it's formally called "enhanced definition"). Additionally, to offset what many might consider to be low res for today's standards, the projector's native resolution is 854x480 pixels, which amounts to widescreen plus (a native DVD film resolution is 720x480, widescreen format is 704x480, and 4:3 format is 640x480). What this means, at the end of the day, is that if you watch a widescreen DVD, the image doesn't have to be shrunk down to fit or cropped, like it might otherwise have to be on a projector with a native 4:3 aspect ratio (i.e. 640x480). Also with regard to image quality, 3LED DLP is known to have nice vivid color and as far as I'm concerned, it does.

Unfortunately, there is no remote for this thing - all adjustments are made with buttons on the body itself.

Speaking of body, the build quality is excellent considering the price tag - nice solid plastic housing; a possibly random aside: when I first took it out of the box, I thought it very much resembled the look and feel of a typical wall-powered radio alarm clock, both in size and weight (and color). It is a bit lighter than one would expect from a projector, even one of this size. Is it as tank-like as my old Sharp? Definitely not, but no modern projector really is. Will it stand up to a fair amount of abuse from an average child? I imagine so.

Adjustments in height are made easy with an odd spring-loaded front leg that pops out with the push of a button on the side, and one of the rear legs can be adjusted to level the image. Keep in mind, there is no keystone, so set it in a good spot where you won't have to tilt it too much.

A little annoyance on this projector is the lack of connections. While on the one hand, it keeps the projector simple, as I'm sure was the intention, it also means you need additional cables if you want something better than the yellow-plug composite video. Granted, it's a fairly easy and inexpensive endeavor to acquire a component > 15-pin RGB cable (or s-video > 15-pin if you like), but it would have been helpful had they included a little adapter dongle or something of the sort.

Bottom line, if you know what you're getting, this projector will not disappoint. Don't be discouraged by the name "PlayTime" - it is actually a very capable little machine. If you go in expecting it to be one of those you've seen in your giant lecture halls or rich friend's home theatre, your expectations will probably be let down. If, on the other hand, you're looking for an inexpensive alternative to a humongous screen TV that uses less power and is much more portable, this is an excellent projector. Postpartum Support

It really helps support abdominal muscle after c-section. It doesn't roll up like other customer complaints; however, I wish there is more discription of sizing. I bought size medium, but I should of purchase size small. You should go by your waistline before your pregnancy. The waist band is really stretchy. Postpartum Abdomen Support, Medium 32" - 38" - Post Partum, Loving Comfort

I purchased this item when my twins were 5 mos. old after realizing that I had diastasis recti. The support band did a great job of reminding me to hold my abs in to help the muscles come back together. The band did not do this for me. It was not clearly visible under clothes unless I was wearing only a t-shirt. My normal body is a size 4 or 6 and the small fit great. I thought the band was too wide--it was continually creeping up during my regular day--so I cut it in half and works even better! Now I use one half when I am in the gym and the other half for regular wear. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a reminder to "suck it in"!

The sizing on this item is completely off. I am a tiny petite person with a waiste size of 28. I bought the small following the sizing listed on here but when I received the item, it did not fit me at all. I couldn't even pull it close around my hip and waiste. Unfortunately I did not try this item on right away so now I can't even return it for a medium.

I purchased this after I had my baby. My tummy shrank quite a bit after wearing it for two weeks. But like the previous reviewers said, it does have a bad tendency to roll up on you if you sit down or bend over, and the seam were the velcro is happens to be very visible under clothing. So I don't recommend taking it to yoga class. I am hoping that by the time I have my next child they will come out with something that is less visible under clothing and doesn't roll up. But the bottom line is that it does work, and I would use it again for the next baby.

I bought this product to use after delivering our third child (vaginal delivery). I looked at other products (celebrity endorsed ones) but they were expensive. This option was the most economical. I am happy with it. I started wearing it the second day while I was still in the hospital. It is snug but not uncomfortable. I like that it supports your back too. The only drawback is that it leaves "stripe marks" on my skin and gets hot and sticky in the Houston summer heat. Too bad it is not all cotton or bamboo and breatheable. I can put it on but I find that if I lie on our bed and ask my husband to fasten it, I get a more snug fit. Runs small but can be stretched. You can see a wrinkle under you clothes. I mainly wear it around the house and at night. I would recommend this to a friend.

It is great for the first two monthes after delivery. It did help shrink the belly. Due to the design and the material, it did not irritate the skin that much like other brands.

But it did roll up after some time of use.

Easy to use, comfortable to wear, and it's inexpensive. It does slide around a bit, but I expected that and it's not too much of a hassle to readjust. I like the gentle support it provides and found the sizing to be accurate.'

Elementary School - pampers, special needs

I just tried these on my twin boys last night. They loved them! They are very soft and comfortable, and you would never know they were wearing a diaper-like product. Both of them still have nighttime accidents, and unlike other products we have tried, these didn't leak! The boys (and the bed) stayed dry and they like wearing them too. Finally a winner! Pampers UnderJams Night Wear For Boys, Size 7 (S/M), Mega Pack, 27 Count (Pack of 3)

My son is a tall 5 year old who usually wears Goodnites. We had a coupon for the Underjams and we've tried them for two weeks. We have had a wreck of leaks about 50% of the time, unfortunately. I can't establish exactly why, but it seems that it's due to the fact that they are lower cut (to avoid being seen above the waistline). The low cut does not work well with an active sleeper and folds down in the front. We are certainly going back to Goodnites!

We bought these after trying a free sample of UnderJams, and my son liked the way they felt over the Goodnights. The sample worked fine. Well, 3 out of the 4 nights we used the UnderJams (after shelling out $50 for the 3 packages), we had major leaks that required full sheet changes in the middle of the night. By the 5th night, we were so tired, I went out and bought a package of Goodnights so we could get a full night sleep, and they worked like a charm, as usual. We are definitely going back to Goodnights. I am really disappointed in the UnderJams, and now I'm stuck with all these packages!

We used to use Goodnites but the noise and high-cut really presented a problem from my 12 year old. He was terrified that his friends would find out on a sleep-over. With camp coming, we were were worried also. You really CAN hear the Goodnites. So, $55 bucks later and having read the Amazon feedback, we tried UnderJams. We have not had ANY troubles with leaks or splits but my son is a smaller 12 year old at 70 lbs. I hate ordering these on-line and wish we could find them locally. I worry they will go stop making them. I also hope they make them in another size up. When we ran out, I asked my son which ones he wanted. He HATES to talk about this issue but he was emphatic that we buy the UnderJams. Why? Because he said you can't hear them and they fit better under his clothes. There is no way I would tell him no. This issue is tough enough without him having to worry about being found out. UnderJams have really made him feel more secure.

I was looking forward to trying these with my 7-year-old son, who still has nighttime accidents and usually uses Goodnites. I liked the idea that they were supposed to be softer, more like real underwear. Well, the second I opened the package, my 7-year-old and 3-year-old boys were running around the house calling them diapers and making fun of them. Apparently, something about these reminds them of diapers whereas Goodnites do not...? I was also very disappointed to find that they are not able to hold in my 7-year-old's accidents like Goodnites do. We NEVER have a problem with leakage in the Goodnites, but most certainly did with these. Poor kid was soaked.

We buy these pants as diapers for our one-year-old son. At 13 months, he's 42 pound due to side effects of cancer. These work okay as a diaper, but obviously they are not intended for that as they don't have side snaps. They are very soft to the touch as compared to the older Goodnites (though the newer ones I purchased recently were "improved") and they seem thicker. The only thing I don't like and the reason I gave only 4 stars is that even though the pack states up to 65 pounds, we find that they are really tight on our son. If your child is slim, this wouldn't be a problem for you, but our son is still very rolly-poly with baby fat plus some. Overall a nice product from Pampers, but as usual with Pampers, a very, very premium price considering how many we are going through.

Update: Our son is now 22 months old and has lost some weight, but we are still using these for diapers because the size 6 diapers are still tight yet. My husband and I have tried, over the course of the last few months, several different diaper type products for our larger son (who is still on chemo), and we always come back to the Underjams. While they are still very expensive, they are the only diapers that fit comfortably, that don't stink after used, that hold up to chemo poops, and that are soft and thick. We won't be switching to anything else and we recommend them to parents everywhere.

We've been using UnderJams for years now and they work the best for our son. We get leaks with the GoodNites 2 out of 3 nights. I think it depends on the child's body type or something. These are great for our family!

This purchase was a great investment. And per pull-up much cheaper than what you can buy in the stores. These are definitely good for older boys, the are much more absorbent than the regular night-time pull-ups with Buzz Lightyear on them.

I just love these Underjams. I have tried every product on the market for my 3 yr old boy. He is 42 lbs and every night time pullup/trainer I have used leaked until I found this product.

My son(3 yrs) puts these on himself. So he can tell the front from the back. It's not hard. He has a little belly so the lower front is perfect. Its so nice not to have wash the bedding anymore.

I was surprised that a Walmart I shop at is not going to carry them anymore. I will find another place to buy them.

I've tried every single option to try to find something more affordable than Goodnights. But nothing works. I THOUGHT these were the first viable, somewhat less expensive option. But they only work about 50% of the time. We have a LOT of overflows...such that my boys (ages 6 and 7) are totally soaked...clear up to their entire shirts! The sheet changing so often just isn't worth the couple of dollars I can save with this brand. Alas...like the rest of you...I'm back to Goodnights and the extra money. Sigh. - Goodnites - Pampers - Diaper - Special Needs'

Wenger Standard Issue Ladies Watch

I had this watch for 10 years and the only reason I am replacing it is because I lost it. It was subject to the worst imaginable shocks, dings, slams, hits you can imagine and it still kept going. Nothing seemed to cause problems for this watch including water, sand, banging it, you name it. If you want a decent looking workhouse of a watch, this is it. I am ready and looking forward to my next one!!!!

ps be sure to do a search for standard issue wenger ladies watch because they have very similar looking models at very different prices. i believe this one is a slightly older model but is essentially the same watch that sells for twice as much. Wenger Women's Standard Issue Swiss Military Watch - Stainless Steel/18K Gold Bracelet

I spent some time (two to three weeks) reviewing watches and looking for a watch that suited my needs. I wanted a watch that was all around useful. I don't do dressy dress so I have no need for a slim watch. I am a nurse, so I needed tough. There were certain things I wanted: numbers, day, two tone, bracelet, water resistant. My husband has a Wenger watch that he loves. After looking at several other name brands, I looked at Wenger. This watch looked to suit my needs. I does. It is very pretty, fit right out of the box just like they had my arm measurement. It was set and running when I put it on, and had kept perfect time since. The face is very visable. The bracelet is comfortable, lightweight but still has the feel of a quality product. It is adjustable, but I didn't need to make adjustments. I have some problems with getting a large enough band, but not this time. I would buy this product again.'

Product Launch

When I decided to begin the process of turning my dream into a reality, I was stunned at the difficulty of finding real-world answers regarding product development. Although every situation is unique, Launch It! provided the level of reference that enabled me to begin taking real steps towards finding the information that was specific to my concept. I've read other books on marketing and the retail industry specifically, but nothing in all my searching has come close to Launch It! for the comprehensive base of knowledge that can be applied to any concept and followed step by step to real success. The mysteries of taking a product from concept to launch are solved with this book and I highly recommend it for anyone with a great idea and a dream for success! Launch It!: How to Turn Good Ideas Into Great Products That Sell

Launch It! is a book that completely covers every step in taking a basic idea and launch it into the marketplace as a product that people will actually buy. The basic process has been well developed over many years and includes:

evaluating an idea

identifying the customer base

identify emerging and important trends

raise capital, save time

avoid mistakes

trade magazines, trade shows, trade organizations.

If just one of the points brought up in this book keeps you from making a mistake, it is worth far more than the sales price of the book.

The writers are experts in bringing products to market, from the design phase to marketing, packaging, and sales.

I highly recommend this book! When they say "a step-by-step guide", they really mean it. Launch It! offered us countless suggestions and resources in short, precise chapters -- so we didn't waste time. Throughout the book, the authors give great examples that helped us hone in on each topic and clearly see what we need to do next.

The Launched & Growing stories, featured throughout the book, were wonderful and encouraging profiles of real companies that conquered their problems and went on to find big success.

The Resource Guide is very comprehensive, a "Yellow Pages" of hundreds of supply vendors, associations and trade shows we couldn't have easily found on our own.

A must read for budding entrepreneurs!

This book is one of the very best places to start if you have a product/ idea you want to launch to the public either via retail or wholesale channels. As a person who's interested in starting a retail business I found so much helpful information & insight within these pages. Some were things I had already researched etc...but they covered many areas I lacked even a very basic knowledge about.

The layout of the chapters & the topics covered is very fluid & easily accessible. The authors definitely have a solid, resourceful background in marketing & product launching & their expertise is weaved in a very no nonsense fashion throughout each chapter. They included a thorough resource guide in the back of the book that should prove to supply relevant & useful contact names/numbers etc when needed.

I especially appreciated their user friendly, non condescending approach, & their careful explanation of terms that a novice may not be familiar with.

I've read the book twice...& have underlined countless good points that I'll likely refer to many times in the future. With all the meat & potatos here..without question a book I'd highly recommend!

When I read Launch It, I rediscovered things that I may have known but had forgotten. The authors reminded me of tried and true basics, adding many new and up-to-date ways to implement those basics. I liked the guidance they provided, using their experience to give me practical, current business and marketing information.

I like the book as a good resource guide for Trade Show/Event Strategies, considerations to License vs. produce and other related contact information...However, Books such as "New Product Launch: 10 Proven Strategies" and New Product Development, by Cooper, are much better for overall strategy and deployment.

Book is written in a very approachable way and I could easily see it being used in the workplace as a team reading assignment that could "launch" ideation planning sessions...

I was disappointed. After reading the other reviews I expected something useful but this book is so basic it looked like the authors just threw together a few articles and basic web research. I would recommend this book only if you have no experience in business, have never taken a business course, nor read any other book on business ever.'

Shoot Digital Cameras

I was able to get this model a little early, and was excited to try it out in - what better city to test a camera? - Paris. The last Sony snapshot camera I used was on a trip in 2007, and I was so dissatisfied with that camera that I sold it immediately after returning home. I was eager to see if Sony had improved their entry level cameras, especially the picture quality. I shall post some pictures to offer examples up in the product details, but these will be reduced in size for posting.

Photo quality: My initial day out indicated that they have made dramatic improvements in both quality and speed. Photos in daylight were crisp and clear in just about every shot, and any that weren't were only because I was shooting poorly on purpose to test the photos. I was also quite happy with the quality of shots in low light and indoors, which is where I noticed the most improvement over past Sony low-end offerings. There was some blurring in darker situations, of course, but for the most part the software was able to produce images that are well balanced and low grain. The 14 megapixel feature is great - there are many photos I've been able to crop and retain quality, and photos of, say, a stone sarcophagus can be zoomed in upon when viewing images later to see very good detail.

I must also mention that the camera is very good at balancing photos. It almost always produces a picture with an appropriate contrast, and only in the worst cases did the image wash out in an area. For example, a shot of Joan of Arc (the statue, not the person) in Notre Dame came out very well even with a stained glass window in the background. The stained glass was bright but distinguishable, and the detail of the stone statue was clear and well balanced. Only in extreme cases - such as a shot of a black sculpture in the Louvre with a window behind it with blaring sunlight - did the camera fail to balance the image, but these are the kind of bad photography shots one would never expect a camera to take well.

Types of Photos: Like most all snapshot photos, this camera will perform best shooting still subjects with plenty of light. Moving objects didn't tend to blur, a problem I'd had with other cheap snapshot cameras, but the response time can make getting these shots difficult. Trying to capture a motorcycle passing an old church, my 7-10 attempts were mostly good photos, but getting the moving bike in the exact spot I wanted was nearly impossible.

Features: Overall, this camera lacks in features, although for most uses I found it sufficient, and at the price I didn't expect a lot of extras. The 4x zoom is relatively fast and easy to use, and about right for this type of camera. I was surprised there was no optical zoom given the high megapixels, but I can live with cropping on the computer. The panorama mode is nifty but not that useful - it works quite well in creating a long image, which of course will cause distortion in most cases. To use this feature, you set the mode and clich the shutter. The camera will prompt you to move it from left to right, and then it will generate the image (which is always impossible to see on the display owing to its shape.) Here I would have liked some add'l features - there is just 'one size' for panorama shots - you must sweep all the way across or the image will fail. This creates many shots that will need to be messed with on the computer later, which is okay but annoying. I was also disappointed panorama doesn't work in an up and down orientation - you always have to sweep the camera in the same manner. You can, of course, hold it sideways to create a vertical panorama, but I really wanted some vertical shots tqking advantage of a larger width. Still, panoramas of the Tour Eiffel allowed me to create some fun, unique shots of the full height of the structure. There are not many other features - just some rudimentary quality settings, face detection, etc. Some might want to move up to a camera with more features, but I actually appreciated this in a point and shoot camera.

Battery life: Here the camera could use some help. Perhaps I'm spoiled by my Apple products, but digital cameras have more or less remained stuck in 2002 concerning batteries. It's annoying to have a separate charger, and battery life isn't great. Three hours of shooting...granted, constant shooting...at St Denis drained it. Given how light and small it is, I'd fully support doubling the battery size to get twice the life. I'd also love for camera makers to start to move toward USB charging options.

I'd also love it if cameras would start incorporating some onboard space. It feels like the dark ages to have to buy a card. 2 - 4 gig of onboard memory with a card slot for expansion would be nice.

Overall, a great, small, fun camera that's easy to grab and go. I wish Sony would re-imagine some of the ways digital cameras work, perhaps taking some cues from iPods, especially regarding batteries, but for the price this nifty unit is great.

Pros: Excellent pics for camera in this price range, good color balance, good in darker spaces, a few fun features

Cons: Battery life could be better, charging options, not many features or in-camera editing options Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W530 14.1 MP Digital Still Camera with Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 4x Wide-Angle Optical Zoom Lens and 2.7-inch LCD (Black)

The intelligent shooting mode is great--it detects different scene types (landscape, sunny, cloudy, etc.) and auto-adjusts the exposure settings to get the best picture. Picture quality is great. It also has a movie mode that takes nice videos. The mic for the audio is a little weak but it is only a point and shoot camera, so a so-so mic is to be expected. The panorama mode is very easy to use--just point and sweep while holding the shutter--and the camera automatically stitches everything together with no overlap or missed sections. I've used panorama mode at a baseball stadium and at a lake and got great detail in both settings.

The battery life could be a bit better, but it lasts for at least 8 hours of shooting. I was turning the camera off and on a lot, which had a bigger drain on the battery, I'm sure.

I first used a SanDisk 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo with this camera, and the camera would not read the card properly. I even reformatted the memory card with my computer and the camera still would not read the card. I finally purchased a SanDisk SDHC memory card that works fine. Others have had problems too with the SanDisk Memory Stick Pro Duo, so be careful with that.

Pros- Intelligent mode for automatically adjusting the settings; picture quality; movie mode and panorama mode; good quality for the price.

Cons- Rechargeable battery could last a bit longer; Battery is specific Sony battery that can only be charged from a wall outlet with the included charging doc; Mic is a bit weak for audio when shooting movies.'
