Family Feud - tv series, gameshow

The display is too small to read. It displays only one line. All the questions are stored in the electronic toy. As a result, the questions are not displayed randomly. If you play it again and again, you'll be presented the same questions in the same order. Family Feud Tabletop Game

I think this game was very disappointing. The product looks much better when advertised. The game was unbearably slow moving and the voice was almost impossible to here. The game is also proportioned for small kids not really sutable for adults. I was expecting much more from this game being that I love the tv show... so if you are expecting it to make you feel like your on the show than do not bother with this game.

The entire unit is small even for two people. The screen is WAY too small, even for two people. I have no idea how you would play as a team. When the questions scroll across the screen it goes too slow, but if they scrolled any faster the poor quality of the screen will not allow you to read the questions clearly. There is no backlighting make it extremely hard to see the questions and number points. The material used in this product do not seem as though they will test the time of regular use, not that you would really use it that much. Don't invest your money, you wont be happy. - Gameshow - Tv Series'

First of all. The Amazon price for this item is 40% of what other big automotive web-retailers charge. Someone is trying to make excess profits.

On installation into my Ford F250 with V10, there is noticeable difference in the throttle response. Engine is more responsive to small throttle changes just above idle, and it seems less throttle is needed to ease away from a stop. There is less burble in the exhaust note. An added plus is that 1st to 2nd gear shift cannot be felt now (from less throttle needed?). Perhaps these plugs are more consistent at firing lean mixtures in newer cars. Note that old plugs removed have gaps still at factory spec.

One caveat - the differences may have resulted with ANY new plugs put in. New plugs with sharp edges at electrodes should start firing at lesser voltages compared with rounded electrodes on well used plugs. The exotic materials used in these plugs may make differences in extended term performance. Bosch (4504) HGR9DQI Platinum IR Fusion Spark Plug, Pack of 1

I gave my 99' Chevy Venture a tune up, with these plugs and a Bosch set of wires. after installing (which a pain on this van b/c I had to take off the intake manifold to get to the other bank) I took it out on the freeway and was astonished. My van could accelerate much faster than before with faster response. Gas mileage was the same, but that was solved my changing the O2 sensors.

I purchased these plugs as they were at a great price and the description says that it works for my car (2001 Mustang GT). When I went to get them installed the mechanic told me that the plugs will not work for my car as they will burn too cold and not pass smog here in California. I checked with another mechanic and he concurred. I wish I would have known about this issue before I purchased them. Be wary if you have the same situation as these plugs may be of no use to you.

Do not buy Bosch Plugs. I just got these for my 07 Ford Focus. The old plugs were original and had 99K on them, they were really worn out. These new plugs look cool and are supposed to be a huge upgrade over factory plugs. There is no upgrade, I think it's a bit of a downgrade even from the worn out factory plugs. The factory plugs look to be NGK iridiums. The whole 4 prong thing is stupid hype and does nothing to increase power or performance.

The car appears to accelerate a bit smoother but slower. And when decelerating at faster speeds the engine appears to "misfire" because you can feel it "shimmy".

I can't believe I wasted 30 some bucks on these pieces of junk.

This is the second time I have been burned by Bosch Plugs, they were junk in my 01 Civic too.

Replaced in to my 2005 HONDA Cr-V. Smooth engine firing and acceleration power immediately noticeable. I monitored the fuel consumption, before and after installation. I found out that fuel efficiency went down, understandably, due to "increase" in power. See below:

Before installation: 19.99 MPG (average)

After installation: 18.54 MPG (average)

where MPG = miles per gallon of 87% octane gasoline.

Overall..happy with the new performance.

This part (4504) does not fit my 2006 Mercury Mountaineer.

I checked the "fit your vehicle" very carefully and it says this part will fit my vehicle. It doesn't.

I should have gone to the manufacturer's website and checked their compatibility list.

Now I see that my vehicle isn't even listed in their database for spark plugs.

I guess this is one of the hazards of ordering through the web - the Amazon website says "it fits" when it doesn't.

I'm sending them back, but what a PITA.

Now I can't trust Amazon's website so I have to do a bunch of research myself or just buy stuff locally.

Forerunner 205 - gps watch, forerunner 205

I've run 4 times a week with the Garmin 201 for the past 2 years so I was anxious to get the 205. After 10 runs with the 205 (some runs with both) here is my take on the new 205:

Pros:

- better form factor (although still big and same weight as the 201)

- Buttons are more intuitive (less guessing in the dark)

- More accurate - If I run the same run 3 times (e.g. a regular 6 miler) all 3 distances are within .02-.09... the 201 varied by as much as .3 miles. The 205 also appears to be more accurate according to "known distances"

- Less satellite drops compared to the 201 (although see the BIG con below!)

- The strap is rubber so it doesn't act as a sweat band (the 201 was harder to clean and smelled for weeks after a marathon)

- Better software

CONS:

- Fonts are smaller (especially on history and other screens)

- The strap is rubber and doesn't fit as well as the cloth/Velcro on the 201 (although the pro I think outweighs the con!)

- BIG CON: On one regular run along the bay in San Francisco (no hills, trees, or buildings) the 205 lost satellite in a "usual" area (common for my 201 to drop in the same place) one mile into the run, but the 205 never recovered during the whole run. So the 205 doesn't drop satellites as much, but when it does it might not recover - this is a fatal issue if it continues (note: the 201 drops often, but always recovers right away).

Overall I would still highly recommend the unit. I definitely prefer to run with the 205 instead of the 201. I will be watching the drop-recover issue carefully to see if others report a similar problem. Garmin Forerunner 205 GPS Receiver and Sports Watch

I wrote an extensive six-part review comparing the Garmin Forerunner 205 with my older Garmin Forerunner 201. Here is the URL to the first part and you can find links at the bottom to the other parts:[...]

If you don't want to read the full reviews then here is a summary of my likes and dislikes:

Likes

* Comfort and Form factor: Usage model is very important and while the 205 is big, it feels and wears like a wrist watch. The plastic strap is more comfortable than the 201's velco strap, and the unit also comes with an extension strap if you need to bundle up and wear it outside your clothing. Personally, I want to look at my watch for instant data (i.e. time, pace, distance, etc) and feedback so I'm unwilling to place a device on my upper arm even if I have to sacrifice accuracy. In terms of form factor, the lap and start/stop buttons are well placed and sized on the face of the watch.

* GPS Accuracy: The Garmin Forerunner 205's GPS receiver seemed much stronger. I can lock onto a signal inside my house next to a window, I haven't received one weak signal in a week over routes that caused my 201 trouble. And on my one run over a tree-covered, GPS signal-challenging course, the 205 came out a star, finally allowing me to measure a route that I was unable to with my 201. The GPS accuracy data field and the satellite acquisition screen are also cool bonuses.

* Customization: The 205 allows you to customize 2 main screens and a third activity specific (i.e. run, bike or other) one with 1 to 4 data fields per screen. This is very cool, especially for data-driven geeks like myself. Another great thing about all the Forerunners is you can customize screens and settings on the fly without interrupting your current activity.

* Real-Time Pacing: I'm not that interested in knowing how fast I'm going at a specific moment in time so never was a big fan of the "real-time" pacing feature of the 201. With that said, the 205 seemed to be more consistent and showed a tighter range of paces. It also seemed closer to how fast I felt I was going relevant to the current conditions (i.e. uphill, downhill, flat) than the 201, which showed a lot of variation and lag.

* USB Cradle: Charging and uploading via USB is a nice. Much faster than the 201's serial port.

Dislikes

* Display: The display of the 205 seems smaller and the history screens are dark and hard to read. I wish they didn't use the shading and just had the plain background.

* Real-time elevation: For me this isn't a big deal, but the "real-time" elevation reading lags on the 205. It seems to tie closely with GPS accuracy. For example, after I finish my runs I'll usually walk a little in my backyard to cool down. The real-time elevation reading will then "catch up" to the correct elevation.

* Buttons: My broken power button seems to be an anomaly so far since I haven't read of others with the same problem. With that said, the side buttons seems a bit stiff to me.

* Battery indicator: It just shows 4 vertical bars. I liked the feature on the 201 where it told you how many hours of charge were left when you powered it on.

Cool Stuff

* Tons of features: There are a lot of things the 205 can do such as import courses, advanced workouts, virtual partner and a bunch of other features that I need to explore

Wishlist

* Reduce form factor

* Color screen

* Increase battery life

* Improve waterproofing/water resistance

* Add wireless connectivity for uploading and downloading data and information over the air to PC or mobile service

I purchased the 205 to mainly get an idea as to how far I was running. This is my first training GPS device. I figured the circuit I ran was about 5k. To my pleasant surprise the 205 told me I was doing 3k more than I estimated so that was great news to me! But the 205 did not stop there. Read on....

If you are anything like me the runs I do at 5:30a on the weekdays are not as strong as the ones I do at 8a on the weekend. A couple hours of extra sleep seems to make a lot of difference. On Saturday I ran my 8k circuit at 8a and came in at a good time (for me). I saved the 8k circuit as a "course" in the 205. The Training Center software that comes with the 205 allows for fairly easy editing of the course adding in markers on when to turn, valleys/summits and saving the course back to the 205. This morning (5:30a) I started the 8k "course" in the 205. Straight away I could go to the navigation page and with the "virtual partner" function turned on there I was racing my(virtual)self! What fun! As expected I could not keep up with my(virtual)self and based on when my(virtual)self would start to break away I knew I had to put on more power. Without a doubt the virtual partner function is going to help me improve my early morning weekday runs. While I intellectually understood the benefit of the virtual partner function until I actually used it I didn't appreciate what difference this function will have on my training.

[Update Dec 2006: The virtual partner function has indeed improved my training. I have shaved 6 minutes off my 8k run since I bought the 205. Each time I make a new PR I save that as the course and work against that on subsequent runs. At worst I try and keep pace with myself. At best I beat myself!]

I find the 205 to have fairly good ability to get satellite signal. I can turn it on in our house (2 story with me on the ground floor) and get a signal. But overhead tree cover does seem to affect the current pace accuracy (see my nits below).

The integration with Google Earth and Maps is incredible. I can save the images as JPGs and post them to my blog so every one can see where I've been. Tres cool!

As I mentioned earlier the Training Center software that comes on the CD with the 205 is good. However, I would recommend going to Motion Based whose URL is provided in a flier that is packaged in the 205. I really like MB and you can check out other people's GPS data/times.

Now that I covered what was important to me there do seem to be some minor nits with the device that I noticed and I see other people have already commented on. The nits I would like to see corrected:

- the extensive menu navigation. There has to be a way to simplify the menu depth and make it a little more intuitive.

- current pace is negatively affected by overhead obstructions. On my 15k I run down a trail that has intermittent clearings and tree cover. Every time I ran into the tree cover and lost signal strength on the satellites the current pace dropped even though I'm fairly sure I was keeping an even pace with the music I was listening to. The 205 has a "pace alert" function that can alert you to when you slow down. Not very useful when every time I ran into tree cover the alert would sound. I eventually had to turn the pace alerts off as it was too inaccurate to be of any use. The overall average pace seems to be accurate.

[Update Dec 2006: As I travel a lot the only comment I have here is when I start up the 205 in a "new" city it takes a long time to lock into the satellites. Subsequent startups are fast so there must be some initialization process that is skipped on subsequent runs. I have run in San Francisco without GPS issues so not sure why others are having problems. ]

Overall, if you are on the fence about a GPS training device (as I was) then jump down and join the rest of us that are reaping the significant benefits of owning one. And the 205 works really well so I highly recommend it!

Oh, the reason I did not get the 305/HRM combo is because I get heat rash from wearing an HRM. - Garmin 205 - Gps Watch - Forerunner 205 - Gps'

Heart Monitor Watch - ironman, heart rate monitor

Purchased this product about a month ago, and I was originally pleased with it. However, after a couple weeks of use and more focused exercise, I realized this watch doesn't perform. Here are my pros and cons

Pros

-nice look

-easy to use

Cons

-HR strap battey life has not lasted longer than 2 weeks. I've already replaced it twice

-HR readings are all over the place. I'm in good tune with my body, and it has recorded my HR as high as 185-190 for extended periods of time. I've never been able to get my HR past 175, even during an EKG stress test

-HR readings are very inconsisten with readings jumping up and down 10-20 bpm in a 10sec period

Essentially, the product is not reliable. I've used Polar in the past, and was happy to move away from their products with the this Timex. Looks like I'll be changing back. Timex Ironman Men's Road Trainer Heart Rate Monitor Watch

I read all the previous reviews of this particular watch thoroughly before making my decision. I am an active training triathlete and needed the functions provided by this watch for all three sports. Everything worked flawlessly for about 3 weeks and then the crystal started to fog up....I waited for a few days and then it got worse and then ultimately failed. I was not quite sure how to proceed. Do I engage Timex or Amazon? Well, the Timex website was not very return-friendly and so I came back to the Amazon website. OMG....this was so easy...I initiated the request for replacement product and had the new watch within about 4 days and then Amazon provides really easy return shipping labels so it did not cost me anything. Once I got the replacement watch, I used the same packaging for the faulty watch and dropped in the box. No fuss, no mess.

So, my 5-star rating is for both the watch and mostly Amazon.

I purchased this heart rate monitor over a Polar because Timex has an extended warranty available - 4 extra years for a measly $5. I received my watch and called the number on the Timex website and was informed that the extended warranty was not available for this particular model.

I see at the bottom of their website that not all products are available for this extended warranty offer, but in order to find out, you have to refer to the instruction manual. Kinda difficult to read the manual without having the watch in the first place, especially when I couldn't find a store locally that carried the Road Trainer (Gotta love Fort Polk, Louisiana).

Otherwise, I am happy with this HRM. Easy to read, and the set-up/operation is very intuitive, especially if you are familiar with other Timex Ironman products. The wristband fits - my left wrist measures approximately 7 inches. I wear it comfortably loose on the third from the smallest opening, although it needs loosening partway through an upper body weight workout. It fits comfortably tight on the next-tightest opening.

The chest strap fits comfortably - you know its there, but it doesn't pinch or annoy me like I thought it would.

Overall, I am happy with the watch and the chest strap. However, I tend to abuse watches, and an extra 4 years would have been great. That aspect of my purchase is very disappointing.

I have now owned two Timex HRM watches. The first one worked for a reasonable length of time, say 6 or 8 months. It then was not able to receive heart rate data from the chest strap. I changed the battery in the strap, I changed the battery in the watch. I went through every single piece of troubleshooting advice I could find, both from Timex and from and exhaustive internet search. The watch showed the heart icon WITH the animation indicating that data WAS being received, yet it would only show double dash for the current rate. Could not overcome this issue.

It had worked so well for a while, so I thought I'd just get another timex and would have better luck. I was flat out wrong. This one has made it about 2 months and is now refusing to receive data. This time, no matter what I do, the watch will only display the empty heart icon. I have again replaced batteries, "reset" the transmitter, moisture, position, tightness, I even shaved the hair on my chest in the area where the strap sits. NOTHING.

So while this device may work well for a short time out of the package, it has become glaringly clear that it is NOT reliable. I don't think spending $70 every couple of months for a whole new watch and band is an acceptable approach. I will NEVER buy any timex again, and I would strongly advise anyone NOT to get these devices. They are a flat out waste -- oh, unless you only want it for the watch. It's a decent enough watch, but the HRM is worthless!

I have been using my Road Trainer heart rate monitor for several weeks now, and must say it is a must-have for runners and athletes. This is the first HRM I have ever used, so I offer no comparative reviews to other models, but here are a few pros and cons of this particular unit:

PROS:

* Accurate heart beat measurement (just make sure to wet the chest pads a bit with water before wearing)

* Great tracking and review of workout stats (includes: total minutes of workout, time in heart rate zone, peak heart rate, minimum heart rate, calories burned and recovery time)

* Easy-to-read display, which is critical when you just want to glance down at the watch before looking back at the road/path

* Chest strap is very comfortable and stays in place (I'm a lean 5'11" 154lbs, so I can understand if larger guys find the strap snug)

* Customizable heart rate zone, great for changing the intensity of your workout

* Really informative manual and heart-health booklet included with this

* The watch looks nice enough to wear casually

CONS:

* The wrist watch strap is fairly large -- even for those with larger wrists

* There seems to be some relay lag between chest strap and watch if I start running too quickly. This is resolved if I slow down and allow the watch to "catch up," but it generally takes over two minutes to synch if I don't do this, which obviously skews the data

* The calorie counter tends to be somewhat inconsistent, either showing far too many or too few calories burned (I am by no means trying to lose weight, but I do need to monitor how many calories I need to consume in order to refuel -- especially when approaching race day)

I have not used this for biking or swimming, but I run roughly 15-20 miles per week, and can honestly say I will never be without my Road Trainer. My only regret is not having purchased it sooner! - Hrm - Cycling - Heart Rate Monitor - Ironman'

Ultralife Batteries - 9v battery, battery

I purchased this to replace the battery in my wireless alarm keypad by front door and it worked great.

Sometimes these are hard to find at stores because most sell regular ones but considering the old one it replaced (not same brand but still Lithium) was over 8 years old and it still worked, just almost out of power I say the few extra bucks was worth it.

I hope to see the prices go down a little more as if you add up the cost it prob comes to about the same as if I had to purchase a few of the regular ones to replace but saves the hassle of dealing with or remembering it as often. Energizer LA522SBP 9V Industrial Lithium Battery for Smoke Detectors

I bought eight of these batteries for a specific audio application which requires that the battery be attached via solder to eliminate noise. I discovered the hard way that six of the eight batteries have a plastic case, including the top plate where the terminals are located. Attempting to solder the terminals caused some sort of internal failure/short on the plastic-cased batteries. I looked at the packaging the batteries came in, and there is no easy way to tell which are metal-plate and which are plastic-plate without taking the battery out of the blister pack. I now have six expensive, useless batteries that can't be returned.

Most people who buy this battery will probably use it with a clip-on connector so they won't have an issue, but the battery is sold for "professional audio" applications among other things. If your application is similar to mine, or if the battery will be subjected to a harsh environment, I recommend not buying this one. No matter what, it seems to me that Energizer took a "cheap" approach by making the terminal plate out of plastic. - Duracell - 9v Battery - Battery - Ultralife'

Hdmi To Dvi Cable - hdmi to dvi, amazonbasics

Many Windows based notebooks are now equipped with VGA & HDMI ports, but no DVI port. Many external monitors are equipped with VGA & DVI ports, but no HDMI port. While the analog VGA connection works, a digital connection works better. As it happens DVI is simply a subset of the HDMI standard.

This cable works great for making digital connections from a notebook with a HDMI port to an external monitor with a DVI port. AmazonBasics HDMI to DVI Adapter Cable (9.8 Feet / 3.0 Meters)

I use to connect my PC to the TV and the length is excellent, the field is strong, however, should suggest buying "Belkin Audio Y Cable Splitter 1-Mini Plug/2-RCA Plugs (6ft)" with this, because DVI does not transmit sound only video, but in general is just what the doctor recommended me

I use this cord to attach a Blu Ray player to my 6 year old Toshiba projection TV (720p) which does not have HDMI ports. The picture is very good and the length of the cord allows me to run it through the top of the etertainment center, down the back, and then into the TV.

Pricing these from other big box stores found this to be about 1/3 of the price. Those store will tell you that their product is better, lasts longer, not as much heat, blah, blah. Well...

1) I see no difference in picture quality between this and more expensive brand names.

2) Heat? Off an HDMI>DVI cable. Ummmm, I have no idea what the Best Buy guy was talking about.

3) I can buy this one 3 times and still spend less money.

This is the best bet all around

Purchased this cable to connect a PC (DVI out) to a 1080p flat panel (HDMI in) to use the flat panel as a monitor and to watch movies from the PC (including Blu Ray). No complaint with the image quality at all, but keep in mind that this kind of setup requires separate cable(s) for sound. This cable meets/exceeds the requirements for my setup, so I recommend this cable without reservation. Don't let the low price concern you, as the quality is just fine. Seems like a major waste of money to buy a big brand name cable that would do the same thing at SEVERAL times the price. I have purchased a few of those high-end, high-price cables previously and they are very good, but I can't discern a difference in the image quality.

Very good cable at a reasonable price, the electronics places around here want about 30 bucks for a cable, under 8 bucks is a great deal. Im happy to see Amazon offer a house brand cable that is very well made and well priced.

I connect my desktop to my Samsung PX2370 with this cable. I run at 1920x1080 without any noticible problems, even while gaming on the monitor's "fastest response" setting.

It's just a cable, but I give 5 stars b/c of the price combined with the fact that it works.

Here is sort of a nit-pick though:

I'm not what you'd call a full-on, eco-hippie-conservationist-tree-hugger; I have those tendencies, but I think I'm practical about it. But, I gotta say, IMHO, this item was WAY, WAY, WAY over-packaged. Both Amazon cables I ordered at the same time (another was a straight 6' HDMI cable) came in separate, very beefy 9"x8"x2" carboard boxes INSIDE a bigger cardboard box.

Seriously? For 2 cables? With all the customers Amazon has, I can't imagine the level of paper waste this creates.

Just sayin' ;)

I have a Sony Bravia HDTV that has a "vivid" option that makes the picture crisp and vibrant for various input sources. However, this feature is disabled when the input is DVI(PC)to VGA(TV). So, if you are in the same boat this cable will fix this issue. Also, if you have VGA instead of DVI output on your PC, there's another cable just like this one that has "VGA to HDMI" on Amazon. Hope this helps someone.

My TV has a problem interfacing with my Xbox360 through the HDMI port and I have been unable to figure out any kind of solution. My tech support experience made me decide to consider other options, like the fact the TV also has a DVI input. I bought this with the understanding that the DVI input = HDMI - without the sound. I figured that even if the cable didn't work (or my TV was still uncooperative) that the cable is reasonably priced and I'd still be able to use it with my LCD monitor. The picture quality is great and, though its hard to tell, I think I might notice a slight improvement with this setup relative to the component cables, but it's hard to say for sure. I also used this cable to hook up the 360 to a computer monitor with similar results.

I see that others have mentioned this issue, but it bears repeating. There is no optical output on the actual Xbox360 and with the HDMI cable plugged in you won't be able to fit the component cable into the Xbox360's AV output slot which is positioned adjacent to the HDMI output. I bought an elite model and it came with a slimmer audio only output connector (has red/white output and the optical port) that will attach with the HDMI cable plugged in.

55 Inch Tv - vizio, led tv

I've had this unit for about 3 weeks and everyone who has seen it is in awe....

My daughter has even gone so far as to state that she wants to replace all the tv's

because now they look crappy by comparison....which is true....

About the VIA (Vizio Internet Apps) ...after establishing that you have a link

with your brodband, reset the internet apps to the factory default then they will

update and upgrade as necessary....and as far as the remote mine works great controlling

streaming content....if its slow or clunky its because your imternet connection is too slow.

I really like this TV ...so far the only downside is the sound like all lcd 's, while

acceptable, it needs help.....i got a vizio soundbar and that helps a great deal...i also paired

it with an old polk PSW10 i had and now it sounds great....this is my first soundbar so

i can't really compare it to any others.....hope this helps !!! VIZIO E552VL 55 Inch Class LCD HDTV 120 Hz with VIZIO Internet Apps®

Delivered as promised, set up as promised. Quality of this item, Vizio 55", is incredible. This is our 4th Vizio--we hardly even look at another. Never had a problem with any of them. But I digress. This seller was perfect.

This was very easy. I have been looking at TVs for a long time. But this was the best price for a great TV. And it was such an easy process. The called to let me know before they arrived, the TV arrived, and was set up. I would definently by from Amazon again.

The picture quality of the TV is very good. Even with standard signals, it is very crisp without digital processing side effects. The remote, however, is very frustrating. I doubt it was tested very well, and it has the hallmark of electrical engineers working in cubicles not talking to each other. You have to push the buttons over and over to get it to do anything, and when it does, lots of things all at once. It's also weird that the single channel selection is upside down from the direct channel entry buttons, so you're always going in the wrong direction. The Netflix App needs a lot of work too. Sure, it plays movies fine, but combined with the remote it's almost impossible to fast-forward to a spot in a movie. Forget rewinding, the sluggish remote makes this pretty much impossible, either rewinding far too much or too little. I'm going to get a Cable TV box and use this to change channels, then go back to iTunes for movies. I do like the picture though!!! - Led Tv - Vizio - Led Backlight'

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it! The face is a stylish, yet classic statement, and the rubber band allows you to also wear it while working out. This watch will take him from day-to-night and he gets so many compliments on it! Victorinox Swiss Army Men's 241336 Summit XLT Black Dial Watch

1st off a disclaimer: This watch DOES NOT have a sapphire crystal. It took some major digging to find this out, and I tried to tell amazon but so far it hasn't been changed. It has a hardened mineral crystal. That being said, here is my review.

Just received this watch a few days ago, and so far it is a major success. BEAUTIFUL watch, even with a rubber band. Very easy to read and comfortable. Reading it at night isn't a problem with the glow in the dark hands and hour markers, but it is taking a little getting used to after wearing a digital for so long. So far I couldn't be happier with the watch. The nice thing is I can always buy the metallic bracelet if I want to dress it up more, but for now that isn't needed as the watch looks really great as it is. Did I mention it is Swiss made?

Bought this watch after returning a Luninox that broke within 2 weeks. This watch out of the box was made with better matierials and seems to be quality construction. It is heavier than the Luminox - but not so much as to make it a problem. Love the watch, it is attractive and does what it should - works!

wow i love this piece when i saw it on the internet i say i want it but when i received it i was in shock i dint know the perfect details and quality of this piece since i am a fan of victorinox brand and if u want a great watch the everybody ask and say wow thats a nice looking watch get yourself a sport watch like this one you wont regret it i recomended. - Chrono - Chronograph - Mens Watch - Dive'

Traditional Country - country music, traditional country

Prime Cuts: Man with the Blues, Seaman's Blues, Freight Train Boogie

Without a doubt, Willie Nelson is the singer's singer. Whilst many artists abide religiously to the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" adage for fear of being ostracized by their hardcore fans and commercial radio, Nelson is blessed with a large enough and diverse fan base that marketability is immaterial to him. Thus, this country outlaw had the liberty of cross pollinating genres over the course of his illustrious career with albums of standards ("Stardust" and "American Standards"), reggae ("Countryman"), blues ("Milk Cow Blues"), Western swing ("Willie and the Wheel"), commercial country ("Born for Trouble"), children songs ("Rainbows"), jazz ("Two Men with the Blues") and pop/rock ("Across the Great Divide"). Yet, despite the diversity of musical styles, it is Willie Nelson's signature often off beat vocals that provide the identity amongst these albums. This time round Nelson had returned back to his mother milk of music: solid old-fashioned country with lots of fiddles and pedal steel at the fore. Thanks are due to foresight of Rounder Records (a company known for keeping the traditionalism of country music alive) of signing Nelson to its roaster. And also kudos are appropriate to producer T Bone Bennett who has genes so embedded in the rustic side of music that everything he touches (including Alison Krauss and Robert Plant's "Raising Sand" and the soundtrack to "O Brother, Where Art Thou") have become touch stones of country music. Nelson's "Country Music" looks like its heading in such a lofty direction with a galore of awards waiting in the wings.

While the term "country music" is so fluid that few dare to even attempt to give definition to it. By entitling this disc "Country Music," the fearless Nelson tacitly defines it via these 15 tracks. For Nelson, country music is lyrically driven to tell the narratives of the human predicament. With his weathered-worn vocals with the occasional cracks, Nelson brings a sense of believability to Ernest Tubb's evergreen "Seaman's Blues." Reek with nostalgia, heartbreak and homesickness, Nelson tells this narrative ballad of a broken hearted seaman whose heart still longs for his sweetheart in Texas whilst travelling on a tanker to Italy. "Satan Your Kingdom Must Come Down" clearly confronts the problem of evil head on as Nelson imbues this traditional Gospel number with a southern almost accapella starkness. With a laidback rootsy feel that calls back to mind the works of Soggy Bottom Boys is the oft-covered "I Am a Pilgrim." Though written all those years ago, Merle Travis' "Dark as the Dungeon" still resonates with a haunting ache as Nelson describes the abject cry of struggling miners on this country classic.

As the broken heart is the linchpin of the genre, Nelson really does country music proud with his entries here. Calling to mind Willie Nelson's self-composed "Mr. Record Man" "Man with the Blues" is another Nelson original with the same easy flowing melody over a rustic backing of some delightful sounding fiddles and steel guitars. The self-depreciating "Gotta Walk Alone" brings back the days of George Jones and Hank Williams Sr. Where country music allows you to feel a broken heart rather than just singing about it. Speaking of the Ol' Hank, Nelson gives Hank's "House of Gold" a reverential reading with an old fashioned haunting echo to it. Yet, not all works, Hazel Houser's "My Baby's Gone" is given a decelerated reading making the song drags on and on. While on the classic "Satisfied Mind" Nelson sounds disenchanted as if he was bored singing. And George Jones and Ray Price's "You Done Me Wrong" gets an unadventurous treatment coming across as a mandatory rather than a vital delivery. Yet not everything is laidback, "Freight Train Boogie," with its gorgeous harmonica introduction, finds Nelson back on the railway tracks of life and vitality as he rocks with a youthful charm.

Truly these 15 tracks define country music in ways that are satisfactorily poignant. Be it heartbreak or struggling miners or spirituality or the meaning of life, these tracks offer questions as well as answers that are often thought provoking, heartfelt and moving. And this, in a nutshell, is what country music is all about. Willie Nelson has not only defined country music with this new disc, but he is in many ways the embodiment of country music. Country Music

I love Willie's latest effort. My favorite track is "Pistol Packing Mama". This is a song originally done by Al Dexter. I have never heard of this song, so it is new to me. Riley Bungus does an excellent job playing the banjo here. All the musicians sound great on this disc. This song is very upbeat. "Drinking Champagne" has a very pretty tone and a romantic feel to it. This is a song originally done by Bill Mack, but Willie has the ability to make this song and so many others on this disc his own. "Man With The Blues" is a fun song that makes me feel good. "Freight Train Boogie" is an upbeat song with superb harmonica playing. Dennis Crouch provides good sound on the upright bass on the track "Nobody's Fault But Mine". "My Baby's Gone" is a song with a sad tone to it, but it sounds beautifully with Willie's vocals. "Ocean of Diamonds" is a pretty song. I love the steel guitar playing on this track. This song puts me in a good mood. "Satisfied Mind" is a comtemplative song originally done by Johnny Cash. This is the best country music I have heard in a long time. Every track sounds new and fresh.

I noted that another reviewer called the "The Real Willie", but I have to disagree. Nelson knows almost no bounds in his interest in musical styles (well, so far he hasn't tackled Opera!). Like Johnny Cash, Nelson loves all kinds of music, not that he's always adept at carrying it off. (His duets with Wynton Marsalis on their jazz CD is an example. Nelson tries but spends most of his time adding to support to Marsalis and his band on that project.). On this CD, one of my favorites - as well as the Western Swing one he did about a year ago with Ray Benson and Asleep at the Wheel - Nelson is in his element and his playing is upfront with the other musicians.

The fact that Willie is on Rounder - until it was recently purchased by Concord Music Group on its 40th Anniversary - one of the last of the independent labels, is testament that he knows a passionately run label when he sees it.

Nelson's choice of musicians also shows he knows where the best ones are. With Buddy Miller on nearly every track and Jim Lauderdale on backing vocals, he's supported by fine company. His voice perfectly matches the songs - both the standards like "I Am A Pilgrim" and "Dark as A Dungeon" fit nicely with the leadoff track "Man With The Blues" - a Nelson-penned piece.

Who knows what direction this "Red Headed Stranger" will take next - or even what label he'll pop up on - but I'm sure going along for the ride. So should you.

Laptop Sleeves - case logic, netbook

I bought this sleeve to use as an additional layer of protection for carrying around my iPad2. I already use the smart cover and a protective skin for the back, but would still like the added coverage. The iPad2 fits nicely into the sleeve with about an inch to spare on the short side and half an inch on the long side. With this extra room I can fit my charger, or even my girlfriend's iPad2 as well.

The zipper goes only halfway around the sleeve, so you can open it it up from the top or side, or the whole corner if you like. There is a strong neoprene scent when you take it out of the box. Leaving it outside to air out for a day or two did the trick to remove the smell completely.

Great item for a great price. Couldn't ask for more. Belkin F8N132-BLK 10.2-Inch Neoprene Sleeve (Pitch Black/Pitch Black)

This is a great case if you only want to carry your tablet around with no accessories. Does not have any pockets or any places to put "stuff". I am using it to protect the tablet while it is in an actual carrying case. This will definitely protect the tablet from any dropping, you know how airlines can be with checked baggage and how someone can accidentally step on the device while on a plane...

When i got this was looking for something to protect my gtablet. I thought it was going to be a hard case. Though it just did not cut it for me. I ended up giving it to a relative to protect their Ipad.

I ordered this yesterday (4/29) and I got it today (04/30)!!! I chose the free 2-day shipping since I have prime. But this is basically overnight.

Price point is ok for the quality of the material. I have a similar sleeve for my macbook pro and this sleeve thickness is about half of that of the mpb's sleeve. I would consider it to be a bit flimsy. It fits the ipad (1st generation) in a leather case and have some space for sync cable and charger. Since I am using it as an additional protection, on top of the leather sleeve, it's an adequate protection for my ipad. But due to the thinness of the material, I probably won't drop it.

Overall for the price, (and the great shipping from amazon), you won't get a better sleeve elsewhere (still doesn't worth more than 3 stars due to the material). I checked multiple websites such as handhelditems.com, meritline.com, etc. They are probably good if you want to wait forever for shipping or pay extra for expedited one.

This sleeve is simple and plain and keeps my netbook safe. It fits an Asus 1015PE perfectly, and while it's not the most padded sleeve in the world, it's not bad at all for the price. I use it mainly to keep the outside of my computer from getting scratched or chipped in my backpack, and I wanted it to take up the absolute minimum amount of space, and for that it's perfect. - Laptop Sleeves - Case Logic - Netbook - Netbook Sleeve'

Werewolf Movie

A boring waste of time, A Twlight-esque(I hate Twilight) movie, A badly done Wolf and sadly Maria Conchita Alonso who is a good actress(has an annoying accent though)disappoints, This is a Love story which doesn't do for me and a poorly made Teen-Genre(I hate that too) Wolf Movie. Wolf Moon

Firstly, kudos to Robert F. Powers for writing an honest review. Here goes another one not written by a buddy of the film makers...(If you want to see more, go to the movie's IMDb page and click "External reviews" - this is getting trashed net-wide, ergo they sent their buds here so unsuspecting folks like me would buy their muck, but I digress)

Where is a wad of steel wool and some bleach when you need them? That's what I wanted to do to my eyes after about half of this gigantic turd of a movie. My God, where do I even start? Script = trite, cliche rubbish that's been done to death and back (and much better) by other writers and directors with a heck of a lot more talent than this one.

Acting = man, everyone phoned this one in. I have no idea how they even got some of the cast (though the slew of co-producer creds gives a clue) but from where I sat it looked like they signed up for what they thought was going to be cool, then realized they signed on to utter garbage and knew it wasn't going to get any better. No one has their heart in this at all. And when the actors seem bored within a movie, you know that you, the audience member, are not far behind. I was ready to turn this off after half an hour but wanted to give it its fair trial, so to speak, so I stuck it out. All mind-numbing 124 minutes of it. Really? Do we need that long to tell a story that's been told thousands of times already? Allow me to answer. No.

Cinematography = how many shots of a full moon do you need to show us, pal?? We get it. There's a werewolf on the cover, it's called Wolf MOON......Hello? We get it. Pan down to something interesting, ok? And the static "effect" in the flashback.........words can't even touch how infuriating that is. I thought my DVD was broken, but alas, I fear that this is this film makers' idea of "artistic".

The SPFX could have been very good if they had the cash to get something good. Face it, materials cost money. Good materials cost more money. And so on. This movie suffers greatly from the "too much money in film makers' pockets and not enough on screen" syndrome.

I was able to look up the budget on IMDb and it says they spent 3 million bucks on this. Where??? Darned if I could tell. This one was even thin on camp value. Even the presence of the always entertaining Billy Drago as the psycho cop couldn't make this one bearable! I've seen all the leads (save for the two newcomers - the male of which should never be allowed in front of a camera again) in many other movies, and far better ones at that, and I've enjoyed them all at some time or another (or many times), but in this? I couldn't even like seeing those familiar faces because the movie they're buried in is that bad. Just that bad.

Avoid this one, go buy Twilight: New Moon (since that is the movie this one wanted to be anyway) or The Wolfman. At least with them you'll get some good effects and a little bang for your buck. Leave Wolf Moon out on the porch.

WOLF MOON is 124 minutes long, about 50 minutes too long. Endless panoramic vistas and unmemorable "original" pop songs try to compensate for the lackluster script, the flaccid direction, the listless acting, and the hilarious special effects.

Obviously an attempt to lure TWILIGHT fans with its doomed love story, WOLF MOON is ultimately tiresome and tedious. Its predictable climax is limp and uninspired. Shame on Max Ryan, Maria Conchita Alonso, Chris Mulkey, Billy Drago and Sid Haig--they've all done better!

Not recommended.

Seeing this at the "High Desert Shorts Internaional Film and Music Festival V", I was impressed how the story was generated and carried thru. The lighting techniques used were done very well and when the "wolf" appeared, was done excellent. The tranformation was flawless and done with great taste (Oh, do wolfs taste?) The movie had a flavor of earlier horror flicks from years ago, and give this a rating of B+.

"Wolf Moon" is so dangerously close to being completely stupid, but it turns out that is its charm. What is it about lycanthropes that makes a girl's heart flutter? Is it the hairy palms? Baying at the moon after sex? Turns out there are two werewolves, father and son. Son slaughters the horses and Dad slaughters the humans who ride them. Even trade off.

The female sheriff of the town is so clueless she has a hard time finding her way from one room to another never mind solving the problem of the mutilations. The role is played by Maria Conchita Alonso who was once an up and coming actress but has now gone the way of plumpness and looks as if she divides her time eating Tacos and appearing in direct-to-video crap. Her deputy is a hulking lug who happens to be the father of the girl who loses her heart to the werewolf. Dad's against the inter-species relationship. Go figure.

The movie has nowhere to go really and the finale is a father-son showdown between dad and boy and Billy Drago as a werewolf hunter. Billy Drago looks like a werewolf without make-up.

i had to give this movie at least two stars because of its silliness and the God-awful werewolf make-up. I've seen kittens that were scarier.

Filmed entirely in Pahurump and Betty, Nevada, this new film gives a unique perspective to the old horror concept. I enjoyed the stark dry scenery coupled with the "real" people feeling of a small town in the middle of nowhere...except you CAN drive there and see it.

This will be a great NEW movie for Halloween!

Screen Protector - evo, htc

As fun and exciting as it was to receive such a plethora of accessories for my new Evo 4g, most of this stuff is really junk.

The wall charger wasn't powerful enough to give the phone a charge after having it plugged in for more than 10 hours.

I'm opting for an extended battery, which renders all of the cases basically useless to me.

I got caught up in the quantity here, and ignored the quality.

I can't recommend. CrazyOnDigital New Accessory Kit 16 items for New HTC EVO 4G Wireless Cell Phone. CrazyOnDigital retail packaging

I was excited to get this package after I bought the htc evo for my wife for valentines day. I gave her the phone early as she just did not like her windows mobile phone. I ordered this package for it since she likes different skins and she needs the screen protectors and extra chargers and such. I was extremely disappointed when i recieved the package. The skins did not fit at all, they were all too big and the screen protectors did not fit either, they were too big and not even close to the shape or form of the evo. I was angry when i had to see the disappointed look on my wifes face. I will not be ordering from this company again.

i got this just today car charger does not work its in the garbage already,i am missing 3 items they're out of stock, and fish i dont even know what it is for, house charger works but i cant use my phone while plug in the charger and the plastic faceplate i got two one is a little big for my phone the only nice thing i got was the black belt holster for the phone... thing twice before buying you can get better ones for alittle more money and i hope i get the other items soon

This is an excellent value for the money. I went to the usual mall kiosk to purchase a case. For just about the cost of one case, I got this entire kit. Well worth it even if all you use are head phones (2 included), travel charger, and case.

All of these items are poorly made and manufactured. The items are not worth purchasing and you would be better off spending the extra money for quality items. It look good on the site but doesn't work. The car charger is a joke.

Everything you see is what you get basically. The screen protector fits good. the cases are a nice tough plastic. and the belt case is also really good. Headphones are nice and loud. Considering what you pay for 16 items i think its worth it. Really don't know what the fish is for though.

I thought I was getting a great deal on the products I was purchasing, but I was wrong. The chargers work, but you're unable to use the phone while on them and 2 of the items (bracelet and rubber fish scales) were just pointless. The screen protectors slide off as well, but everything else was ok

This bundle has proved to be a pretty good value. The cases are nice and it came with almost anything you could use for an Evo. The only problem we have is that when a hard case is put on the phone it will not fit in the carrying case and stay closed (I'm guessing due to the magnetic closure). Other than that one set back the bundle is a real deal. We really like having the retractable USB for in the car and we like that it came with 2 set of ear buds and a splitter. All around pretty satisfied.

Love, love, love these accessories! The gel suits for my HTC Evo 4g fit so nicely and give me a more secure grip. Also, changing out the colors as often as I like (blue, black, purple, and white) is a huge plus for me. The screen protectors work wonderfully and are easy to attach. The plug-in accessories are pretty nice because I can now leave the charging devices in the car and not have to drag them in and out of the house. No more running out of power for lack of a charging device wherever I go. I am not a fan of the earbuds, however, that were in the package as I use the inner ear earbuds, which are much more comfortable. - Htc - Htc Evo 4g - Htc Evo - Evo'

Ipod Cable - iphone 4, ipod cable

The plug (adapter) is not the proper amperage and therefore it will take 5+ hours to charge your phone.

The clips on the sides of the wire are static and don't bend in to make a smooth in and out connection to your iphone. I'm afraid that if you aren't careful, you will rip your iphone apart trying to unplug it.

Do not buy. Wall Ac Charger USB Sync Data Cable for Iphone 4 3g/s Ipod

I wanted this to take to work for charging my phone. I was very disappointed. It is useless for the my intended purpose. While the cable works fine for charging my phone from my computer I cannot plug it into an outlet and charge because the adapter plug does not work. The cord itself will not transfer data. What you really get is a cheap cord for only charging your phone by attaching to your computer.

I took a chance after reading some bad reviews with this charger and cord and bought 2 units. I tested out the 2 chargers and cords on both my iphone 3GS and first gen ipod touch.

The iphone cables: The cables are the newer type without the buttons on the side. The apple connector springs that hold onto the iphone/ipod are tight and the connector takes a firm push or pull to go into or out of the iphone/ipod. This isn't a bad thing as unlike my car adaptor, the iphone/ipod connector will never accidently fall out of the phone. I don't think the connector will ever cause damage to the iphone/ipod as some others have thought in their reviews. The connector has tight springs that hold the cable to the iphone/ipod.

Charger 1 charged perfectly. It might charge a little slower than the OEM Apple charger but it still charged the iphone to 100% perfectly out of the box. No issues and very satisfied charging my iphone 3GS and ipot touch first gen.

Charger 2 also charged the iphone 3gs and ipod touch fine but it made a hissing sound which was loud enough to be annoying. I bought another cheap charger for a camera which makes the same sound. I returned the charger because of the hissing sound.

Overall I'm happy that one worked perfectly and I'd be OK with the other charger if I weren't in the same room as the charger that hissed.

Basically I took a chance and bought 2 cables and 2 chargers for less than an OEM Apple cable cost. Returning with Amazon is so easy that it was well worth taking the chance on these.

I got the charger within a couple of days or so and it works perfectly, I would recommend to buy these cheaper versions then get the authentic chargers from the Mac store because they all break after a year or so, well with me they do lol and the quality of this one is not cheap or anything it's actually pretty sturdy.

Not sure what the other reviewer was having problems with, but this works with my Iphone 4 perfectly. It's a cheap alternative to the official Apple charger (which is WAY too expensive!) I'd recommend it to anybody needing a cheaper alternative. I'm probably going to order another to have as a spare.

Sorry to say , but the item I recieved is not in a working condition. I tried to return it through Amazon but the process is so cumbersome Ileft it mid way. I hope they send me a replacement. The product as of today is not working for me.

Great replacement for original. Sync cable with wall AC plug for charging allows compact bundle to charge your iThings and transfer data. Priced right to have one at home, at the office and a spare in your travel bag.

The charger works great for my iPhone 3G. I bought 2 since the price was so good. However, my wife has used the charger on her iPhone 3Gs and has complained that it makes her phone "wacky". Since I bought it for my 3G and it works great, I gave this 5 stars.

The price was good, the product looks good, only problem is the sync data cable is labeled wrong on the end that plugs in to the phone, so you have to plug it in upside down. I wish I'd stop buying Chinese. - Ipod Cable - Iphone 4 - Iphone Charger - Iphone'
