Block And Tackle - rope hoists, winch
Great product. Works good. It would be nicer if the spool was deeper as the strap sometimes starts to pile against the mechanism and keeps it from working correctly. Also the first thing i did to it when it arrived was ground the edges of the spool down to keep the strap from chafing on the sharp edges left there. Overall it was a great part and is well worth the price. Maasdam Pow'R Pull WS-2 2 Ton Capacity Web Strap Pull'R with 12' of Web Strap - Winch - Rope Hoists - Hoists - Block And Tackle'

Middle Eastern Dance - middle eastern dance, dj mix
This has a good mix that has a little bit of everything new age or fusion for dancers. Don't expect any classics on here except for a couple redone as mixes. Some songs, to me, are "eh" others are really good. I also like the end song mix to play as ambient music.
There's few glaring issues though. Song #34 Meltan by Oriental Star is actually song #40 Cybele by Solace. I don't know if there was an error when the mp3s were ripped or if the actual CD has the same two songs on it or if Oriental Star just grabbed a Solace song and called it their own. So you're not getting 40 songs and mix you're getting 39 and a mix. Oh, and #35 Kassar Army by Pete list is also a Solace song that I recognize from one of the albums I have. But I don't think it's repeated on this album. At least not as a Solace song. Also, #36 is a Solace song, not a drum solo as listed. Thinking about it, I think some of these may have been misnamed when this was created. Top 40 Bellydance - Classic Belly Dance Bar Grooves plus continuous DJ Mix
I thought this had a fabulous mix of rhythms and styles. Some tracks are very new age, others are more classic (but not 100% traditional style). There are even very slow tracks for warm ups and such. For the price, I thought it was a bargain to get so many tracks and so much variety. I recommend it! - Drums - Middle Eastern Dance - Dj Mix - World Music'

Weights - exercise, adjustable ankle weights
I researched several brands of ankle weights, noting that many reviews showed that small weights (1/2 pound) can become dislodged without adequate velcro fasteners on each weight. The TKO 210 AP 10 lb Pair Ankle/Wrist Weights do NOT have that problem. They were a little more expensive than some other brands, but well worth the cost. I had to do therapy starting at 2 lbs, then 5 lbs, and then 7.5 lbs. These worked wonderfully, allowing easy adjustment, and no weights dropped out! I am very pleased with this product. TKO 210AP 10 lb Pair Ankle Weights
I bought these to complement my workout at home and I don't regret it at all. They're a bit pricey (but so are all comparable adjustable weights!!). They're nice and soft around the ankles and the adjustable feature is really good to intensify or lighten the workout as the case may be. I really like the versatility of it (I can incorporate it in any workout I'm doing).
Its paded and comfortable. It's easy to adjust the tightness of the Velcro straps. It's also very easy to adjust the amount of weight. The weights are small half-pound iron or steel bars - about ½ diameter by about 2.5-inches in length. There are ten little weight bars per ankle "bracelet". Each weight is slid into its own pocket on the ankle straps so it's easy to keep the weight evenly distributed around the ankle bracelet. Each weight pocket has a Velcro pocket cover to keep the weights snug and secure in the bracelet.
It's a good product. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends.
This is a great product. What I really like about these ankle weights are the following:
- Fully adjustable weight setting. Add or remove the weighted bars as needed. The bars can be removed and added pretty easily.
- The velco strap holds. Never had a problem with the strap getting loose. It will stay in place.
- Possibly machine washable. I have not tried it yet, but seeing how you can remove all of the weights, and are just left with the fabric, I don't see why you couldn't wash them. Something I will try soon and report back about.
- The velco that holds the weighted bars in place, works well. Just be mindful that it is velco, so if you do some sudden and really fast moments, there's a potential to slip out, but it will only slip out in one direction since each weight goes into a pocket. Again, you really have to do some fast movements, or you did not secure the velco securely.
Well worth the investment. I've even managed to have them double as a 20 lb kettlebell with a handle and strap that I have some a resistance band set I have.
i walk for 45 minutes each way to work - when i first got these, after a 1 week break-in period, they were great - comfortable - and the velcro was secure. after a few months of walking the bottoms of the weight pouches started wearing out from where they rubbed on the top of my shoes - i started covering the pouches with duct tape to protect them. finally, after a few more months, the velcro strap pulled out of the weight band - it is only tacked in with the seam stiching - so the constant tugging on the band from walking pulled the stiching out and the band came loose.
I found the reviews on Amazon for ankle weights to be particularly helpful because I'd never owned any before and wasn't sure what features to consider. I had been in P.T. for a lower back problem, using machines, and it was recommended that I continue at home with ankle weights. These were the highest rated by far, and I concur. They are easy to use, the weights don't fall out. I am small but they're not too loose and would also have plenty of leeway for someone larger. Other than the fact that they don't come in purple, I can't find a thing to criticize. ;-) And I don't think I could have found anything in stores local to me that would have been of nearly this quality for this price. I'm happy. - Fitness - Strength Training - Adjustable Ankle Weights - Exercise'

Cordless Drills - lithium-ion, cordless drills
I purchased this drill along with a Makita BDF452 and gave both a workout in my garage. My test used 2"x6" pressure treated lumber. My goal was to test power, battery endurance and comfort of use. With both drills, I drilled qty (10) 1" spade bit holes, qty (20) 3/8" bit holes and sunk qty (75) 2" drywall screws. My hand and arm were tired so I quit, but suffice it to say, neither drill quit, so I called battery endurance test a tie. I believe the Bosch had slightly more power and speed, but the Makita had plenty of both for my needs. Both drills gave your arm a good twist when the spade bit would catch and hold. In a close race, I declared the Bosch the winner in power category. The Makita was clearly a more comfortable drill to use. It fit my hand well and the trigger was easy to use. The Bosch handle is configured at a bit of an angle and while using the spade bit the back of the drill seemed to press into my hand. Also, during use my finger naturally moved to the bottom of the trigger and it became a bit uncomfortable. Both drills are very well built and neither got hot during my tests. At the end of the day I preferred the Makita because it was slightly smaller (about 3/4" shorter) and clearly had a more comfortable grip position during use. Bosch 36618-02 18-Volt 1/2-Inch Compact-Tough Litheon Drill/Driver with 2 Slim Batteries
Great drill! I am Contractor and currently own the 36v Bosch litheon drill (Dewalt XRP before that), but I got tired of using it for smaller projects like hanging doors and installing cabinets due to it's bulky size and weight. I now find myself using this drill for everything. It has an excellent power to weight ratio and is very smooth/refined. I have the slim pack batteries and they hold a good charge. I will still keep the 36V around but it may end up collecting dust. I have only owned the 18v for two weeks now so I can't comment on it's long term reliability, but I have used it for sinking numerous 3" deckmates into framing lumber, speedbores, small holesaws, backerboard screws, and other fasteners. I can't comment on it's mixing ability (mortar and other cement mixtures), but that's what electric corded drills are for. As an every day user, I am very happy with this purchase.
Used it to build 4 picnic tables from Rockler plans in a college class. Four work crews, 3 days, hundred of screws in green treated lumber, one charge. Amazing torque, did not need to recharge. Students are Construction management majors and future shop teachers. They were impressed, as was I. Preschoolers came and helped assemble the tables (donated to their preschool) and the clutch worked well to allow the screw to be driven to the correct depth. I love this drill. Oh, and the light is sweet when working in dim areas.
Super tool! I usually don't brand-buy, but my garage seems to be collecting a lot of blue-green and red tools. I have a Bosch RO sander and jigsaw now, and I think they are both top notch. This cordless drill fits right in with the other quality tools. Background: I use this tool for light to heavy work (fine woodworking, drywall, rough carpentry, make holes in 4x4 joists with spade bits to run electrical cable).
The drill is very slender compared to my old (got it three years ago) cordless Craftsman. I can drill in tighter spaces now without having to use my 90 degree attachment. The size reduction also means a lighter tool, which is very deceptive; this drill has some serious power. Nothing like a corded drill but still... The power of the 18 volt is impressive to say the least. I love the 30-minute charge time for the baterries. I fully anticipate solely using this drill thoughout an entire day-long project.
The ratcheting lock it GREAT! I put in a bit and tighten it down with a ratchet lock. This feature has given me the utmost confidence that a bit will never again slip again.
The price is kind of up there compared to competitors, but you get a whole lot of quality with this purchase. Highly recommend!
I purchased the Bosch to replace another 18v that stopped working. I was impressed with the balance, lightweight (compaired to a NiCa) and the exceptional sensitivity of the variable speed contol. I also like the led light under the A good quality product. Negative features are a poorly designed bit holder (it doesn't work!) and no belt hook. Other than that a great quality tool
Recently I needed to purchase a new drill for work, and chose this one for several reasons. First and foremost, I own several Bosch tools and I already know that when I buy Bosch I won't be disappointed. The craftsmanship and functionality of their tools is top notch, and this one is no exception. The second reason I chose this drill was due to the Lithium Ion battery pack. If you can get the same juice out of a smaller and lighter package, why not? With this drill in my hand I felt like I was holding an older 12v model, but with the power of an 18v. I'll never use Ni-MH again. What surprised me more than anything else though, is the way the battery holds power. With older drills, as the battery loses power, so does the drill. This drill works at full power until the battery is drained, allowing you to work at full capacity until its time to change batteries. The final reason I chose this drill was for the torque rating. Simply put, I like power, and its better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. At this price point and combination of features, this was the most powerful drill available when I made my purchase. I find myself actually using the different torque and speed settings based on the job I am doing instead of just putting it on the highest setting and hoping I've got enough power. I'm probably going to get one of these for the house really soon even though I've got a perfectly fine cordless drill already. I like it that much.
Bought this drill after returning the 14.4V Black and Decker. My first thought was to spend about $70-$80 for a drill. I quickly learned while constructing a wooden swing set that the Black and Deck was not a very good tool and went back and spent an extra $60 bucks to get this tool. The difference was amazing, this drill just feels stronger and better made (the BD felt like it was made of plastic and this one felt like it was made of metal). Grat power and torque, nice size, quick bit changes--plus the chuck locks with a "click" so you know its locked (the BD chuck couldn't even keep the drill bits in place). All in all I was very happy with this purchase, its the type of tool you just hold and know its a quality tool. BUY this drill!! - Lithium-ion - Cordless Drill - Cordless Drills - 18 Volt'

wheeled cooler - wheeled cooler
Not many rolling luggage-style coolers available, but of those that are out there, this is the most cheaply made. I own the MaxCold, also by Coleman, which is much better made, but not very cold (ironically, there's not much "max" to that "cold"). Igloo makes one too, which is much sturdier than this one and much colder than the MaxCold. As for this one, it is plenty effective as a cooler, but the handle and the wheels are cheaply made. After the first trip out, the axle of the wheel bent on mine, and now when I pull it, it doesn't want to roll straight. Very frustrating for a cooler that cost more just because of the rolling feature. Blah. Ended up buying the Igloo to replace it, and really wished I'd have bought that one first instead. Coleman, why is half of your stuff really great while the other half is crap? Buying your products is always such a gamble, and I'm getting kinda sick of it. Coleman 50-Quart Wheeled Xtreme 5-Day Party Stacker Cooler
This is the perfect cooler for a boat. Ours is 24 feet, and we can have up to 13 people on it at one time...which means we can go through a LOT of drinks on a long day out. Before we used two separate coolers (each smaller than this). This will centralize all drinks (and food) in one spot on the boat, freeing up more deck space. The handle and wheels are obviously useful for the obvious reasons. We also like that this rolls tilted back - other coolers have the handles at one of the ends, which means all the ice (and drinks) shift to the left or right side during transport from the car to the boat. This one just moves things slightly towards the back, but the overall "balance" of pre-loaded ice and drinks stays pretty evenly distributed, which makes lifting this down onto the boat a lot easier. Highly recommended.
The Xtreme coolers hold ice very well - this one is no different. I have a problem with the ergonomics of the cooler - the handle is too short and the cooler constantly hits me in the back of the foot when I'm pulling it. The lid also falls off easily and is difficult to open. I own other Xtreme coolers and recommend them - just not this one.
Great all around. Holds all you need for an entire day out boating with ten other people, and the handle makes for easy transport. We especially like the fact that this cooler is set up to roll with the back tilted, instead of one side end lifted up. This way all the cans don't roll all to one side, but stay pretty evenly distributed as we roll this along - very helpful since we have to roll this down (and then back up) an incline to get to our boat. Keeps the ice solid all day and into the next (we've not tested it beyond the length of a weekend). Easy to drain.
This Coleman cooler is one of the best purchases I've ever made. The wheeled feature makes transporting the cooler easy and the 50-quart capacity was enough for a week's outing. We added ice to the chest before our departure. Seven hours later, our food was still frozen.
I cannot recommend this product highly enough!
We bought this hoping that it'd work for weekend camping trips. Now let me preface this by saying I'm used to weeklong camping/fishing trips to Northern Canada where the only way to keep our food and fish cold is the ice that we bring with us, so we know how to use and pack a cooler properly. This cooler melted 3/4 of a 10 lb bag of ice in less than an entire day, in 80 degree weather, in the shade, covered with a blanked between two Igloo brand coolers that had no issue. The wheels are cheap and became loose after one weekend, hinges are cheap, and lid has NO insulation in it. The only thing extreme about this cooler was out disappointment in it. Go to coleman's site, this cooler only rates 3 stars at most, and that's because ONE person gave it a 5/5 saying people didn't know how to use a cooler.
If I could rate this a 0 I would.
Bought it to carry fish caught on a trip to Alaska. Wish it weighed a little less (13#), so I could return with more fish - the airline limit was 50#. Does meet the airline baggage dimension requirements, which is a decided plus; and the stacker handle allows another 50# cooler to be carried on top. Durable and balanced, I had no problems with it trying to flip over. The lid does not fit exactly right, but it works.
I just got the cooler today and will probably return it because one wheel is attached crooked. It looks like it's going to come off. It should not have passed a quality control test. I am very disapointed. - Wheeled Cooler'

Candle Lighter - blazer, mini torch
These are tough and finger-safe! I had one last 2 years with heavy heavy usage! It's appreciated that fingers are nowhere near flames on this, unlike many other inferior products I've tried which get too hot to hold after a while or they just break.
The built-in stand is a must-have to keep furniture and house-hold safe while it's locked-on in use.
The easy bottom click is quiet and nearly effortless.
HINT: Just bounce the entire torch's bottom off the table-top and instantly it's lit up. That way you don't have to move your hand off the flame adjustment controls and on/off switch.
The flame control is stable and if gas refills are good quality gas (no $.99 cheapies!) and the device is properly bled beforehand (let it run all the way out first!!!) you will not have "bouncing flame" problems!
I'm buying my second one now and can't wait to receive it! Blazer PT-4000 Pencil Butane Torch
The PT4000 is an excellent tool that can be used for many uses beyond its soldering iron intentions. Although the flame is not optimal when upside down, this little gadget is worth it's weight in gold. There needs to be a standard lighter option on this in case one doesn't need the intensity of the torch flame. Other than that... haven't found much better around.
Please see the BUT below!
Original review: {This is a sweet little pencil torch. It gets hotter and lasts longer than any other teeny torch (I've tried) that will fit in my pocket. :) I mean, it is not the torch of choice if you mean business but it is great for a PENCIL torch! I am going to make a new course up just for this torch. Silversmithing on the run!
I like it.}
BUT - after using it for a little while it clogged and would not accept butane. It seems it is supposed to use ONLY Blazer brand butane because the other brands (like Ronson and Zippo) are dirty and cause this clogging. It is apparently a very common problem and not fixable. - - - There is no mention of this in the description for the torch. Who knew???
This is an excellant lighter or focused mini-blowtorch for light soldering or welding, lighting candles, fireplace fires, charcoal fires etc, paricularly if windy. The focused mini-blowtorch ignights by pressing an ignighting button and stays on until turned off so it should be kept out of reach of children who might turn it on and drop it and start a fire or they could burn themselves. I love it.
First of all, I can't believe they still make this. Second of all, I'm glad they still make this. I bought mine in college, 16 years ago. It's been used in camping trips to start fires it's been dropped off the dock into a lake and it still keeps working. Lately it's had a slow butane leak, but I can't think of much else that has taken that much abuse for that long and kept working. I'm here to buy another.
Lights easy and burns great. The only complaint is that the flame blows out VERY easy, an A/C unit or very light breeze etc.will blow the flame out. If the shroud were even 1/16-1/8" deeper it would be perfect. I use outdoors as a pyrotechnic shooter and this is a very important feature. I have added a metal sleeve to increase the shroud depth and it now works just fine.
This torch was great for several months but stopped accepting butane (it would just spew out the sides, and then the flame was non existant due to lack of fuel). I had a friend who bought this torch also, and hers did it almost right away. Amazon was awesome- they sent me a replacement torch six months later, but that torch didn't accept butane at all. Then they sent ANOTHER replacement- same thing. So long story short, this torch is a great size and easy to use, but it is useless since something is wrong with the butane intake. - Lighter - Blazer - Mini Torch - Torch'

Bicycle Accessories
This bike computer, for the price, is by far the best on the market. How do I know? Because there is no other bike computer that boasts a name brand company, has as many features, and costs as little as this one! I made sure to read all the reviews on Amazon before I purchased this, and I find it disheartening that I was almost swayed to *not* buy it. Fortunately, I read between the lines of all the negative comments and figured their age and/or grammar explained why they had difficulties with the device.
To start, almost everyone is correct in stating it's difficult to install; honestly, it is! The instructions suggest a 1mm distance between the magnet and the sensor, which basically means: as close as you can get it without the two pieces hitting! To achieve this, the task takes a considerable amount of fiddling, but once you find the right spot on the fork and spoke to where they come closest without hitting, you're golden. I spent about 10 minutes doing this. After the magnet and sensor were on, the setup of the computer was a breeze. It asked for wheel diameter (which is required if you want accurate readings of speed, distance, etc), age, weight, time settings, etc. If you read the instructions, it will explain how to set each of these values.
I want to address a few of the complaints on this page. The first was from a young man who said he was riding 60 mph. Your problem: you didn't set the correct wheel diameter! The instructions provide you a handy chart to tell you what code to type in based on the corresponding diameter. Now, if you don't know what a diameter is, or don't have the intelligence to look it up online, you probably shouldn't be using this computer in the first place. If your wheel is 26" and you set it to 15", yes, you will not have the correct and accurate display of your speed!
I read another review that said he couldn't figure out what buttons to push. Answer: READ THE DIRECTIONS! The directions tell you what to push, for how long, and when. They do this for all displays and all features. If you can't figure that out, I don't know what else to tell you. Honestly, there are 2 buttons, are you that stupid?
I read another review that said distance traveled couldn't be reset, nor could the calories or fat burned. WRONG! Yet again, people fail to actually *read* the instructions, and have the nerve to come online and submit a negative review. There are 7 displays that are shuffled with the *right* button. The *odometer* display does not reset, because it's just that, an odometer. Do you reset your car odometer, too? What you're looking for is the *tripmeter* display. The tripmeter can be reset by holding the *left* button for 2 to 3 seconds. When you reset the tripmeter, you also reset the trip timer, and the average speed value which was set during your previous trip. To reset the calories burned or fat burned, go to that feature display, and hold the left button for 2 to 3 seconds. Simple enough?
In summary: this computer is accurate in all its features if you read the instructions and input the correct wheel diameter. Speed, distance traveled, average speed, trip timer, temperature, and everything else, I have found to be 100% accurate. I checked the speeds against a driver and the temperature against a 3rd party thermostat. Since I've only used this product for a couple weeks, I can't tell you how durable or what's its longevity will be, but if the features and accuracy mean anything, I should be using this computer for a long time.
Quick note to everyone who set this thing up wrong and feels foolish for complaining: if you input the wrong diameter, press both buttons down at the same time for 3 seconds and it will reset the whole device so you can input data from scratch. If your speedometer is reading out "0.0" while you ride, you have the sensor and magnet setup wrong. Try to align the magnet with the arrow next to the "Sensor" text.
The key to having a pleasurable experience with this bike computer is to read the instructions. If you don't feel like reading instructions, don't buy this. If you feel you can bare with the idea of reading a bit and want a great piece of hardware at the lowest price on the market, BUY this device.

Okay, I've uploaded the manual scans to the user submitted images area.
However, since Amazon re-size the images, here they are on TinyPic hosting...
[...]
You can find all the above 4 larger pieces of the manual on one page, as well, here: [...] Schwinn 17-Function Bike Computer
I've owned two of these and ridden in all 4 seasons, driving rain, blinding snow, and even the occasional sunny, warm day. I've never had a problem with either, and find them very easy to set up and calibrate, easy to use, and totally accurate, dependable and reliable.
Under $10! Can't be beat! Ride on!!
This device works great and it's only $9. It has speed which always shows on the screen plus you can display the odometer, a distance meter to the 1/100 of a mile, trip timer, temperature, average speed, maximum speed, calories, or fat calories. It has a couple of other features which display at all times such as whether you are increasing speed or descreasing which seem somewhat worthless sense I pretty much am aware of that anyway. It also shows a plus or minus sign to tell you if you are traveling above or below your average speed which for some reason I like. Additionally you can set it to scan where it will display each item for a few seconds then move on to the next. I like the fact that it pops right off the mounting bracket so I can take it with me to review the data after a long ride.
I did notice that one review mentioned you cannot reset things such as distance, calories, etc. All items are easily cleared. The device has two buttons. The right button allows you to scoll through the functions. The left button when held for about two seconds resets that function to zero. So before each trip or each day I reset distance, calories, average speed, etc. That way you can keep track for trip, a day, a week, or whatever you desire. The device shuts down when you stop so you don't have to worry about shutting it off.
Installation is simple. No tools required, except maybe a pair of pliers to pull the supplied wire ties nice and tight. The only thing that is a bit tricky is that the sensor which mounts on the fork, and the magnet which attaches to a spoke need to be close together. The instructions say 1mm. Thats only about 1/32 of an inch. Mine works at about 1/8 of an inch. You need to slide it up or down the spoke/fork to get the correct clearance. Also be careful when entering the "wheel factor" which is just the circumference of the wheel on centimeters. I would recommend you calculate your own instead of using the chart or at least verify their chart. There are 25.4mm per and inch times the "outside" diameter in inches times pi which is 3.14159. The factors listed are correct but somewhat confusing. This number needs to be right or all the information displayed is wrong.'

I was experiencing constant pain in my left heel and had read natural healing books on eradicating heel spurs. Adding to that I'm hefty. The big thing to ease the pain of a heel spur is to wear a quality shoe with rubber soles. Trusting to find a good quality shoe was becoming a nightmare when I happened upon an Easy Spirit ad during online holiday shopping. I ordered them and ohmigosh! You can't get me out of them. Easy Spirit Women's AP1 Sport Sneaker,White Leather,7.5 M
My wife has a hard time finding shoes that fit her as she has very narrow feet. I have been unable to find any shoes made overseas(China) that fit and are comfortable. These shoes made in the USA, fit great and are very comfortable. I just hope that they will always be available. I always buy a couple of pair at a time, just in case they become unavailable.
I have lots and lots of problems wearing shoes. I find many women's shoes too constraining and tight, and have had various problems with my feet over the years that seem to just boggle the podiatrist. Putting me in orthotics seemed to make things much worse, as did just about any arch insert or other things inserted into the shoe. Most sneakers become almost unbearable to wear after several hours, and over time I've found that a light shoe with basic support worked best for me. I'd had good luck with some other easy spirit shoes so gave this one a try. And it is really amazing how comfortable this shoe is for me. It's so rare that a shoe fits and is comfortable without a serious break-in period, but this particular style just works that way for me, and I just hope they never discontinue it! I've tried a few other Easy Spirit shoes, even some walking shoes that look very similar but they just never seem to be as comfortable as this one. It definitely would not be the choice for someone who needs a lot of arch support and a really solid sidewall, but if you like very light shoes, this is an excellent one to try.
This is my all around favorite shoe! They feel like gloves on my feet. The look nice, so they can be worn at the office or just about anywhere you go. I ordered several pair in different colors. They are the most comfortable shoes I own.
Wonderful shoes that are well made and very comfortable. They are especially good for women with narrow feet because any woman who has narrow feet knows it is hard to find tennis shoes that really fit.
The Easy Spirit walking shoe I ordered is the most comfortable shoe. I feel like I am walking on air. The size was the right length and width for the size I ordered; 9.5A2. The color was true to the picture shown in their ad. It is a great shoe for lots of walking.
I've been buying Easy Spirit shoes for about five years now. I wear them when I walk my dog, so they get a lot of use. This is the first pair of AP1's that I've had, and they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They are lightweight, yet very supportive. It's kind of like walking on marshmallows, but with good support. I wear them all day long. They are even more comfortable than any houseshoe, so I wear them around the house, too. Lace-up shoes are sometimes too tight on me, so I just use two pairs of holes, which means I can also just slip them on and off. Great shoes! My next pair will be AP1's, too.
I have a hard time finding shoes that fit with my high arches. I hesitate to order tennis shoes because most of them are poorly designed -- they are designed to kill your ankles, rub them raw when walking, and damage your achilles tendon. This shoe is just another example: my ankle has been rubbed raw with just a 1 mile walk. I would walk 2.5 to 3 miles, but the pain on the ankle and achilles tendon prevent that.
This shoe is parially made in the US and partially made in China -- let's get shoes made in wholly in the US.'

Skin Problems - cleansers, acne
I purchased Cetaphil for normal to oily skin on the whim to see if it was any different from their Gentle Skin Cleanser line. I have the most polar combination skin possible, my cheeks generally are extremely dry whereas my forehead becomes very oily. All these problems are compounded by my dermatologist's retinoid prescriptions for controlling my acne, I end up with flaky and irritated skin on top of my oil and dryness issues; what a pain!
If you are cursed with skin like mine, I would not recommend this cleanser. Contrary to what it says, it does not "removes surface oils, dirt and makeup without leaving skin tight or overly dry." It does strip all the oils off my face, but it leaves my face feeling extremely dry, to the point where my skin feels like saran wrap, tight, plastic-like, and rubbery. In addition, the cleanser has an extremely powerful fragrance that I do not enjoy and really goes against Cetaphil's other products, which they advertise as being fragrance free for those with sensitive skin.
I will stick with Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, as it is far more moisturizing, fragrance-free, and also removes facial oils. Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, for normal to oily skin, 16.0 -Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2)
I have given this product a fair amount of time to make a final decision on whether or not I really liked it. After reading reviews I purchased it but have not seen amazing results, only more frequent breakouts!! I have used it now for several months! I do like the clean feeling it gives after you use it but, it is VERY temporary and when I go check my face out in the mirror it is already oily again after only a few hours. Yuck! I have had more breakouts since using this product and I will not purchase it again that is for sure!
I have never found that perfect product that my skin jives well with. I read about cetaphil and most people talk about it like it is the 2nd coming of cleansers. Unfortunately this product caused my skin to burn and itch and break out very badly. After 3 days my nose feels like it has lizard scales and my chin and cheeks are a minefield of pimples. I have no idea how to fix the damage that this has caused. I used my regular product today and my skin still hurts.
What i'm saying is I am not sure this is for super sensitive skin.
When I started using Cetaphil, my skin was overly sensitive. It burned and turned beat red while using this and right after using it and made my eyes water. I do have oily skin so I knew I needed to keep using this if I wanted my acne to go away. Even though I used this habitually for nearly two years, I still kept getting acne. After washing my face,my skin still felt oily (especially in summer) it also felt overly dry sometimes in winter. I realize now I should have not been using it in the eye area to remove eye makeup, but I did and my eye lashes flaked out when using this.
I know it works well as a base facial cleanser for individuals with oily and more resistant skin, that is not as acne prone (I say this because there is very little if any salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide in it) but it did not work for me. I give this cleanser a two star and not a one because I believed it helped de-sensitize my overly sensitive skin. Now I can use more potent products with out having my skin flake off and burn.
I absolutely love this product!! Not only does it leave my face feeling clean (but not dry) it has totally eliminated the mild to moderate breakouts I'd been suffering from for the past year.
Previously I used Oil of Olay (Clarfiy and Cleanse Foaming Facewash) and just about every Neutragena product for oily skin, but with Neutragena especially, I saw no improvement in my skin :( In retrospect those harsh detergents were probably contributing to the problem, causing a vicious cycle amoung my wallet, my face and the pharmacy skin care lane.
I tried Cetaphil after reading online reviews on [...], and after only 3 months, have seen major improvement (read: not one zit for over 4 wks) Admittedly it is not an overnight miracle, but the only change to my routine including diet, exercise and overall lifestyle has been this product, and I wholly attribue my clear skin to it.
I use this product 2x per day (a.m and p.m), and for my night ritual I use a disposal exfoliating sponge to help remove my makeup, followed by the Oil of Olay Beta Hydroxy night cream. Please note though that I use an eye makeup remover prior to washing my face, (as I would with any other product) and use only a light application of Mineral (powder) foundation, so I cant guarantee that Cetaphil is effective with heavier applications of makeup.
This product is clear, with a smooth consistency and a clean, pleasant scent. It does not lather, rather you massage it onto your skin for it to work its magic. I leave it on my face and neck for 30-45 seconds, then rinse. This cleanser really does rinse clean, with no dryness or tight feeling when pat your face dry, I have even stopped using an astringent/toner, and just go straight to moisturiser.
Altogether I would highly recommend this product, it is super effective yet still gentle, and is very affordably priced, just make sure you get the appropriate formula for your skin type, i.e dry vs oily!!
Everyone's skin is unique, so cleansers work differently for different people. This one works really well for my skin type -- dry except for the T-zone. My face feels clean and pleasantly tight without being overly dry. It's a good price for a quality cleanser.
I really like Cetaphil as a cleanser, but am sensitive to smells. First thing in the morning as I shower and wash my face with this cleanser I end up having a migraine within 30 minutes that lasts the whole day. It is not a pleasant smell either, it's just strong. If you have any sensitivity to smells try something else. I do like the way it cleanses though, and it is very gentle for my mildly sensitive skin. - Facial Cleanser - Acne - Cleansers - Skin Problems'
