Subwoofer Cable - subwoofer cables, home theater
Before I was using one lead from a really cheap stereo RCA cable to go to my sub. I decided to go with a better cable to see if it made a difference. If it made a difference I can't hear it. The cable seems to be well made (much better quality than the cable I was using) but I guess you don't need a high quality cable to carry those low frequencies well.
I used Monster cable to connect my 3 front speakers and cheaper cable going to my surround speakers and I could not hear any difference going to the thicker Monster cable either. Don't get me wrong, my system sounds fantastic: I just did not hear any improvement by going with better cables.

In order to receive the best possible sound this type of cable should always be used. Ths same goes for all your speaker connections. The better the gauge the best your speakers will sound. I have read some reviews complaining about interferece with their new subwoofer. I think this may be a result of using the cheap wire that comes with the speaker. If your going to buy a new speaker why not buy a quality cable to enjoy it with. The Mediabridge Dual Shielded Cable is well built, and my new sub sounds great with it as my connection.
Can't say enough about the quality. Don't waste your hard-earned money on advertising hype and packaging. Go with this product--high quality look, feel and sound without the inflated price of accessories from the "big box" stores--you can't go wrong.
This wire is very similar too the very expensive "Monster Cable" This wire has very nice gold plated prongs, and is a very thick cable compared to an AV. One of the problems most cheap sub wires have, is the wire they use seem "Cheap, or thin" This wire for the price seems to be very heavy duty and I can already tell you get your moneys worth. Works excellent with my sub, Highly recommend for the price!
I had some doubts about this cable up front because the product description seemed to be focused on audio (primarily speaker) use and I was intending to run video signals over the wire. After hooking it up it is handling the video without any problem.
The cable is very flexible and well made. The end.
This wire is amazing. Compared to the cheap one I bought for 3 dollars this is exceptional. With the cheap wire too much base was being channelled to the reciever, but this cable seems to even out the base with the speakers. I wish I had this cable 2 months ago. - Audio Cable - Audio Cables - Home Theater - Subwoofer Cables'
