Light Weight Grinder - light weight grinder, dewalt

Don't waste your time with abrasive wheels. These cut much faster and last so much longer. You also don't have to worry about cracking or breaking apart. The DeWalt 100x blades are also more durable than the "basic" black diamond blades that DeWalt sells. The black ones might be good for a one-time small project, though. In materials such as concrete, brick, and flagstone, however, the continuous rim version is more durable and lasts longer. The trade-off is that the continuous rim blades cut more material (more dust). In the future, I would probably only use the segmented blade on very hard or brittle materials (such as tile, slate) and otherwise stick with the continuous rim. I have not had problems with warping on the continuous rim ones either. DEWALT DW4713 Industrial 4-1/2-Inch Dry Cutting Segmented Diamond Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch or 7/8-Inch Arbor

I was debating if I needed to buy a small wet saw to make about a 300 foot cut in concrete, 1 inch deep. Nope, this segmented saw balde cut without problems and still is functioning well. I did use a shop vac to suck up the dust that was being created as I cut. Overall the small dry blade performed similarly to my larger industrial wet saw (but on a smaller scale). I absolutely recommend this blade for small jobs. - Angle Grinders - Grinder - Light Weight Grinder - Dewalt'
