Dell Replacement Ac Adapter - dell replacement ac adapter, dell power supply
This power supply is not adequate for most Dell laptops. The problem is one of design - it only outputs 3.34 amps. I plugged it into my Dell Inspiron laptop, and all it would do is maintain the current low state of charge - the battery did not gain any charge even though it was plugged in overnight. I just received this last week and I'm already looking to buy a new one. It doesn't really plug into my computer correctly/securely and I have to jiggle the connection around to get power to my laptop. I definitely do not recommend this product.
The seller described in the product details the item well. The only complaint I have, which I am just going to swap it for the one i am borrowing, is that it will interfere with ham equipment. My dad is a Ham op and he says it almost doubled the interference on his ham radio. The one I am borrowing does not. If you dont mind some RF interference then grab this cheap replacement, otherwise you will need to fork out some extra $$$ for the HA65NS2-00. If you do need the HA65 make sure its RevA01 and Family PA-12. Also buy the same voltage for your laptop as it requires. More or less voltage will only keep laptop on without charging. I upgraded to the 95 voltage model and it would not charge my batteries.
This did the trick just fine for me, but the interference problem. Also its safe around AM/FM radios and those freqs
On my first charger was working well until less than 2 weeks it starting to be picky on which side it had to be on in order to charge. I sent messages (more than one) to them and they were unresponsive. Surprisingly, out of the blue I got another charger from them which gave me the benefit of a doubt but in less than a week it started to malfunction the same way as the first one. I strongly recommend you not to buy from them because not only they don't provide me a functional charger, they are non-responsive any of my message (I even tried their homepage help contact).
this is not the model you want for inspiron 1520.. before purchasing please check the back of your current charger.. OEM is 4.62a this is 3.33 amps ... when you plug it in you get a message "this is a 65watt power supply,, your battery will charge slower and your computer will run slower, please replace with 95 watt power supply"
also this unit is 2 pronged wire and oem is 3.. it works but i ordered the oem asap.
This charger has not worked well since I received it. The plug is so sensitive that you need to jiggle it around and then not touch it, otherwise the power connection is lost.
I've had it for about 2 months, and this morning when I went to plug it in, a wire was frayed and it exploded and caught fire in my hand.
I DO NOT recommend this product for anyone. Spend a little bit more money to get something that is safe. This could have started a fire in my house and could have caused real damage to me. - Laptop Power Adapters - Laptop Charger - Dell Replacement Ac Adapter - Dell Power Supply'
