Bought this at a fantastic price and could not be happier. Originally had a Targus case which was similar to this, but this one is thinner and seems a bit tougher. Was expecting the surface to be firm/hard rather than the faux-leather feel that it has (my assumption, not really unhappy about it). It has 4 grooves versus the Targus' 2 for angling the screen, and the grooves are deep enough to really hold the iPad in place. The tab to lock the case closed works perfectly, where on the Targus it felt too tight & like it would eventually wear on the Ipad. I do notice a few more fingerprints on it in comparison to the Targus. All the cutouts are perfectly placed, in particular, the camera hole is perfectly centered. It is a bonus in my opinion that this case design does not hide the profile and curves of the iPad. The Targus was a very good case, and I like this one even better, assuming it holds up, which I believe is the point of the carbon fiber. Overall, I am very pleased with this case and it's pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Great case! Totally agree with the above 2 reviews. I brought this before any reviews were posted and could not be happier with it.
Fits the iPad 2 perfectly, looks and works just as pictured. I have also installed a screen protector and the clips of the case do not interfere with it. The only thing that could possibly have made it better was if it had built in a magnet to utilize the auto sleep/wake function... but at the end of the day the button to do this is super easy to push yourself so it still easily gets all 5 stars.
Can't agree anymore with the Dw's review. This one is made of carbon fiber, but looks&feels like genuine leather. It's in that high quality. It's thinner than i expected, yet very protective. It covers every side of my ipad2, so i am not worried about dropping my ipad with facing down any side, but still all the outside buttons are reachable. All you need is a good screen protector and this case. I was sick of holding my ipad2, but since this case gives five different angles with a great amount of stability in each angle, i can type, read, view, and take notes with ease.
I have looked around, as most for the last month for a top-notch High Quality case. I feel lucky to have found this case. The quality construction is fantastic. This case is sturdy and looks and feels great.
I know everyone says there are five positions but there really are 6 positions. 4 landscape positions and 2-typing positions. Each position is secure and offers an excellent viewing angle.
The inside is soft and will not scratch the ipad2 screen. A previous review mentioned the wedge typing position was not secure on a slick surface(not sure what he tested it on) but I have not found a surface where it was not secure to type on.
All the buttons are easily accessible with the speaker and camera cut-out perfectly positioned.
The case has a very nice slim form factor matching the iPad2, no extra or unwanted bulk. I cant imagine another case that provides so much at an excellent price point.
AYL service has been great and they shipped fast and I received the item in 2 days(california to florida)!

I've been searching for iPad 2 cases since the first day it came out. Everything I found had been very overpriced, bulky or not too functional.
This is by far the best case I've seen. Shipping was extremely fast too. only took two days with standard shipping.
Pros:
- Very cheap (35 dollars)
- The quality of this product is absolutely amazing.
- The case looks very expensive and well built.
- Fits iPad 2 like a glove without adding any bulk to it.
- Protects the iPad pretty well.
- Five different viewing angles.
- Shows the whole iPad screen which makes the iPad screen looks more appealing and easy to clean.
- Cutouts for all the buttons, speaker, headphone and camera are perfectly aligned and easily accessible.
- The hinge on the cover keeps the cover completely shut, yet it's also very easy to open.
- Can't stop bragging about it.
Cons:
- Lack of auto on/off capability like the smartcover.
However, that was easily fixed by taping a very small piece of refrigerator magnet to the top left corner of the cover so that it would line up with the sensor on the iPad which is located on the top right corner. If you want a cleaner look. Cut open a small hole with a precision knife and glue the magnet and stitch it back up. It was very easy to do.
Selecting a cover for an iPad 2 in early April is tough. There aren't many options out there but this one looked the most appealing. This cover clearly states Carbon Fiber but at first touch it's some sort of leather like material that doesn't scratch. Maybe its a material comprised of carbon fiber. Not sure, but I started thinking the inside support structure is made of carbon fiber.... possibly. Either way, it's a NICE cover for the price.
My iPad was easy to insert and the fit is very snug. The cover doesn't add much bulk at all and the slimness of the iPad 2 is still there. The ridges for the ipad are actually functional all the way to the first one (Only when on my back with an angled lap top pad)!
Pro's:
- Quality of the cover.
- Fitment of the cover to the iPad 2 is great.
- IPad 2 controls are easy to access and non-obstructed.
- Cut outs for the camera, speaker and side buttons are perfect.
- Functionality!
- Keeps the ipad2 slim.
Cons:
- No smart cover capability. (I would've paid an additional $10-15 for it) But this wasn't a deal breaker to me.
