Fits great. Tighter than the genuine product. Material feels a little different. Buttons are a little more "springy". Not a bad deal for [...] bucks.
My only issue is, they are using the actual Apple products part number. When I searched for the Apple bumper in green on Amazon, I did so by part number specifically to avoid showing knock-offs. Because they used the Apple products part number, Amazon has it associated with other genuine products. Kind of throws you off and makes you wonder what other kinds of "genuine" products Amazon is selling that are actually knock-offs. My wife purchased one of these to replace her original Apple bumper, which totally fell apart after about 6 months. Doing a side-by-side comparison with the one from Apple, it is very difficult to tell any difference. Like the Apple bumper this one is comprised of a plastic core (that goes around the sides of the phone, with a rubber edge that fits like a gasket around the front and back edge.
In comparing the two, the only difference we found is that the rubber feels a little bit harder than the soft rubber used on Apple's and the seam where the rubber joins the plastic is slightly smoother on Apple's. While we like the feel of Apple's softer rubber which may also make a very small difference when gripping the phone, the slightly harder material used in this one may actually be an advantage. In our experience the rubber on Apple's was weakest part--peeling and tearing on my wife's in less than 2 months and totally falling apart after just 6, necessitating purchase of this replacement. More than just my wife's I am also having similar problems with wear to the Apple bumper on my phone.
That said, if the rubber on this model turns out to be more durable than Apple's, then it would actually make this product superior. All other things being equal, I can't imagine why anyone would pay the money Apple is asking ($29) for something that fails so quickly. Time will tell, but experience with similar materials suggests this one will last longer. At the very least, no one will know the difference . . . except for you and the extra $25 bucks in your pocket.
It's totally fake bumper and by your product name I thought it's real deal. So you kind of cheated me and bumper really looks cheap and doesn't fit like the original Apple Bumper. Hence you should inform that your product is cheap copy of authentic Bumper.
Very disapointting allthough it was pretty cheap. You really have to take Apple out of this product title because it's nowhere near Apple quality. - Knock-off Apple Bumper'
