Crystal Healing - crystals

I, more or less, came into crystals "back side first," meaning that I "experienced them" physically, mentally, and spiritually before I actually knew what kind were "attractors," what kind were "protectors, or what kind were "seekers," etc.

And learning how to select crystals to do what you need is exactly what this book, "The Seven Secrets of Crystal Talismans: How To Use Their Power for Attraction, Protection & Transformation," did for me. If I need to "attract" luck, wealth, friends, love, I select a "seeker" crystal. If I need protection from negative forces, I select a "protector" crystal. All of this type of information is outlined in this book.

It does have too many charts, but they are useful and informational to help readers see the properties of different types of crystals.

All in all, I'd say this is a pretty good book. However, you have to know how to follow and read charts, because there are a lot of them in this book. The Seven Secrets of Crystal Talismans: How To Use their Power for Attraction, Protection & Transformation

Overall, this is a really good resource for those working with crystals and crystal energy. There is a good mix of scientific with practical guidance on applying the information. I would highly recommend this book book for the intermediate to experienced person.

Overall, this book is likely to be a handy reference for its numerous tables. However, the entries are very repetetive; several varieties of minerals such as agate and quartz appear individually, although the author does indicate which are valid mineral species as opposed to varieties and trade names.

Most of the text is similar to what may be found in Michael Gienger's book (Crystal healing, Crystal Power), though the author's take does deviate in his own original ideas.

The crystal systems and mineral groups are each given their own nicknames. While this makes it easier for the non-scientifically minded healer to look up, the nicknames only become cumbersome for someone familiar with crystal systems.

The photographs included are sparse, and may not be the best representation of what is pictured. They are presented in the index, and are in color.

For anyone comparing crystal systems or chemical groupings of minerals, I do recommend this book. The tables are useful for anyone seeking a quick guide, as well. - Crystals'
