Punch
I usually don't take the time to review items, especially those I didn't purchase from Amazon. This stapler is the worst of both worlds. First, it is flimsy and the parts don't align or function properly while stapling. I had to wrap a rubber band around the stapler to keep it from perpetually flinging open and spilling my staples. The hole punch is a novel addition, but it doesn't work well either. As the previous reviewer stated the whole punch tears rather than punches, and it isn't easy to use. This stapler\hole punch managed to take two examples of human ingenuity and render both useless. X-ACTO Orca Mini Stand Up Manual Stapler and Hole Punch, Black (73015)
It's a great idea to combine these two tools, but it just doesn't work well. As a stapler, it works fine (though the inner workings are a bit flimsy--mine came apart, but I was able to put it back together easily). But as a hole punch, it's just lousy. One could make the same hole by stabbing the paper with a pencil. The problem is mechanism that punches the holes--a very rough, coarsely made metal piece which tears the paper. It actually takes some effort to remove the paper after punching it.'
