FYI this battery pak uses 10 AA batteries (not 8), but I think it is more powerful than my old battery pak. It also says it's for the Pump in Style Advanced on the pak, but it works with my Pump In Style backpack/traveler. This does not come with the microfiber case (in product description). I went without a battery pack and relied on my plug instead. It made it very difficult to pump when I needed a outlet and privacy. The battery pack works great and seams to have more force than when I use an outlet, only slightly. It actually helps me pump faster!
Maybe mine was defective, but I used 8 batteries and it died halfway through one sitting. I bought a vehicle adapter and a manual pump and I've used those instead. Pumping in the car is not my preferred option, but it will do.
I'm pretty sure that the description of this says that it should last for 30 pumps, but I think the batteries in mine lasted for about 6 pumps before it started to really slow down. With fresh batteries, this battery pack works great and I can't tell the difference between using the battery pack and plugging the pump into the wall.
Great for limited use as batteries could get expensive if you're using the battery pack exclusively.'
