I purchased this sandal because I hate sandals. I work in an office and flip flops just arent acceptable but I find most womens sandals to be too old looking, too heavy, too blingy or just too ridiculous. These are wonderful, they are well made and definitely fit the bill for a low key sandal thats dressy yet comfy and lightweight. I got compliments the very first day I wore them.
