Upset

I ordered these for work because my job deals with alot of keys and these are the worst clips i've tried they are so stiff it's really hard to get the keys off when you need them. The hooks are made of very cheap plastic that is very stiff and hard. Police 32-38 Duty Belt

Note: this item does not come with any accessories, you're only buying the belt

If you're at the outer limit of the length, say a 38" waist, you'd be better off buying a bigger belt if you want to make sure you aren't at the end of the belt's adjustment ability. When I adjusted it for myself, 34" waist, I think I got it close to the right fit. The adjustment is by velcro so...you'll have to play with it...another reason to get a bigger belt if you have a larger waist.

I can't exactly explain why I took off a star, it just doesn't "feel" like a top-notch product.The belt is...OK.

Soooo, received the belt yesterday... Looks great durable and im sure will do the job. BUT the only back draw was that it doesn't include any of the pouches or gun holster... very disappointing considering that the picture that the supplier has posted obviously has all the things you need to make your costume (or whatever) to look legit, sadly it does not come with all of the items shown which is a little outrageous. This now means that i have to go to walmart and pick up a bunch of other supplies to compensate for the lack of stuff that wasn't sent with it (everything in the picture) anyways recommended for anyone who wants to read the fine print about the item...'

Work Gloves - cycling, windproof

I have purchased 2 pairs of these gloves. One pair I sent back due to a manufacturer defect (they are made in Pakistan, not that that matters), and Amazon promptly refunded my money upon my returning the product (the fingers of one glove were stitched too tightly). The other pair I kept, and have been using for several weeks now in an Upstate NY Winter, where I live in the middle of about 1,000 acres. I bought them partly based on the product description, and partly on the reputation of DeWalt products, whose tools are high quality. These gloves are well-designed for tough use, and should hold up to "work wear." I like everything about them ***EXCEPT*** that they used regular polyester fill for the insulation. Thus, I find that in very cold temps (below +20 F.) these gloves are just not able to keep my fingers warm. I am constantly having to "ball" them up into fists, at regular intervals, to keep them warm. In moderate, higher temps, this should not be a problem. So, I give them 3 stars out of a possible 5. I hope that DeWalt will in the future choose *Thinsulate* or similar material instead. I would be willing to pay a little more for better insulation. Had they done so, I would recommend them without hesitation. But if you need *extreme* cold weather gloves, or will be using them on a snowmobile--be warned--these gloves are NOT up to that kind of challenge. DeWalt DPG750XXL Extreme Condition 100g Insulated Cold Weather Work Glove, XX-Large

Finally, a pair of gloves that delivers as promised. I wanted Waterproof and Insulated Gloves. These are both. There are patches of rubber or synthetic material on the palm and fingers. The material protects the gloves, but also helps with grip on the steering wheel as I am driving. There is no claim as to temperature rating, and my use has been primarily in the 20 - 30 degree f range, but these are PLENTY warm for use in those conditions. Durability is not a question, these will last a long time. Oddly, the cuff length is pretty high. There is enough room to put them over the cuff of my jacket. If you work out of doors, especially around snow that melts, that creates moisture and you have a real need to stay warm, these are well, well worth the money.

I bought these for my son who was working construction over the winter. He said they were the best Christmas present he ever received. They keep his hands toasty for prolonged periods of exposure to very cold temperatures and wind. His only complaint is that his hands sweat a bit when he's working hard. But, hey... a small price to pay to save your fingers! - Construction Gloves - Windproof - Warm - Cycling'

Touchscreen - car video, touchscreen

Great deal from Amazon. (270 USD) with Amazon prime shipping. A lot cheaper compared with the other expensive ones in this tough economy.

Pros:

-----

This one is a new version, March 2009 release.

1. In-Built Bluetooth works fine and plays music directly from Iphone without having to connect any wires to it. No hissing nor static noise in the back ground. Audio from Bluetooth is crystal clear.

2. Rear view camera(bought a 40 USD camera from Amazon and hooked it up by myself), DVD player, FM(16 presets), all works as advertised.

3. Cheaper (270 USD) when compared to Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD with Blue tooth which comes to atleast 420 USD.(with the steering wheel interface)

4. I got Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD (just for comparison) and this unit and tried both of them in my Honda Pilot to check how it works and did not see any difference in quality.

5. Bought a soldering Iron(15 USD) and soldered all the wires by myself. (saved 60 USD in installation charges).Instruction manual provided is more than sufficient to do it.

6. Prompt customer support via email when you register in their website.

I hope the quality of this product lasts for a long time.

Minor tweaks

------------

1. Connected the Dimmer to the parking brake to make the DVD play in the front panel as well.

2. Had to connect the rear view camera trigger wire to the back up light system.

3. Need to connect the rear view camera video output to the CAM input.

Cons:

-----

1. 4 star rating because it does not have a steering wheel control Interface but to compensate for it they provide a wireless remote control.

2. Does not support SDHC or USB memory stick more than 2 GB. Boss BV9560B 7-Inch DVD/MP3/CD Widescreen Bluetooth Receiver with USB and SD Card

Great unit for the price. It does everything it says. Surprisingly, the bluetooth works better than some more popular brands. The interface is extremely cheesy. I seriously laughed when I first saw it. Also the loading time seems a bit slow whether it is a cd or dvd. The sound quality is better than expected. My old system was alpine type-r with 3 v12 amps (i know good sound). The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is because you really cannot beat the price. The rear view camera works flawlessly, sounds great, and has a great picture. There are some small features that are annoying example... when a call comes in though bluetooth when you end the call the track on the sd card starts from the beginning again. It is rather annoying, but overall I am pleased with my purchase.

I looked for quite a while to find a reasonable priced double din chassis radio replacement for my work van. This unit had the most features for the cheapest price. It has performed fair. The interface is a little cheesy and it is slow to respond. I would like to reserve the deepest depths of hell for whoever put the auto re-memerize your radio station buttons on the main radio screen. A useless feature that is by no means created by or exclusive to Boss. Anyway, other than that the unit performs fair. It's slow to switch from usb to radio, or to bluetooth. Considering the price of around $200 it's OK, just OK. In retrospect I wish I had spend around $500 and installed a unit with a better interface and a little smoother operation.

I did have some wiring harness issues however the tech support at Boss was excellent. If you have a problem with the unit don't hesitate to call support. Check the depth on your dash first, this unit requires extra room if your using the RCA connections on the back for audio video out or camera video in.

In all, don't think your getting a $500+ unit for cheap. It's worth about $200. If you have reasonable expectations this unit will meet them.

Frist of all amazon rules!!Not like ebay at all.The radio got to me on time;new in the box.I never put a radio in a car at all was easy to do. The dvd works great the picture on the player is wonderful!works on all dvds.made my factory speakers sound aftermarket.touchscreen is out of this world.bluetooth is as easy to do as your phone i have a blackberry that connected in seconds i play songs on it via bluetooth.Rds works, remote ,touch pin,mp3.will hook up a camera later when i find the right one.

I like the radio, I installed it myself, pretty easy job... The reason I give it 4 stars is because of software it uses. It makes the radio look cheap and low quality.. it is way too basic. The graphics look as an old nintendo or a cheap china made dvd player. It should have a better interphase with better graphics and icons. It has a lot of extras such as pict viewer, screen tilt, and even an equalizer, surround presets and a real time graphic showing the way your music moves, however you cannot save your customized preset and you have to choose it each time you turn off the radio. It lacks a screensaver option, when listening to a CD or MP# music you see an ugly boss wallpaper. it is a shame because the sound and image is great. I have a back up camera that turns on when you select reverse and it looks great... I do recommend it however so do not expect to get impressed by the software. i will put some picts later so you can see what I mean.

Dewalt Nailer - dewalt nailer, nailer

I bought a DeWalt nail gun near the end of last year. Since then I've driven several boxes of nails with it, mostly without any hitches. I've used it nearly every day for building cabinets and installing mouldings. This is my third brad nailer. My first one was a Senco SLP20, a fabulous gun. I never had any problems with the Senco other than the safty being on the front side of the driver... that made it difficult to shoot nails at a bit of an angle if needed. My only other complaint about the Senco was its limited capacity in length of nails, 1 5/8". After the Senco was stolen out of the back of my truck I bought a Hatachi brad nailer... the DeWalt was not yet on the market. Overall, the Hatachi was a nice quality gun and had the 2" nail depth capacity I really needed for my work. However, it would often double fire on me because the safty was so sensitive. This problem occurred so much I finally gave it to my son (a weekend warrior) after the DeWalt came on the market. I was real excited about the new DeWalt brad nailer because of the nice features, particularly the design which put the safty behind the driver. It worked flawlessly right out of the box and I almost never looked back. At the time I was looking at the DeWalt gun I was also considering the new Senco gun that shot 2" nails. Now after about six months I'm beginning to think I made a mistake buying the DeWalt. A recent problem has occurred that's quite troubling: The gun stopped firing and recycling properly. I thought maybe at first it was due to a blown O-ring or something like that. The only way I could get the cylendar to return was to uncouple the air hose. Then, I could shoot one nail before having to uncouple the hose again. Needless to say this was a pain in the rear. Another son, who is also in construction, told me he encountered the same propblem with his DeWalt brad nailer... which was even newer than mine. He was finally able to get his to work by adding oil to the driver and guide after opening up the quick release mechanism. I tried this, but used a super thin lubricant instead of the oil that came with the gun. It didn't work. Later I went back and it fired fine for about 10 shots and then stopped again. I've let it set for a couple of days now and just tried it again. It seems to work fine now, but obviously I'm concerned because I don't feel I can rely on it when doing a job on site... and that could really cost me time and money. So, I'm once again thinking hard about buying yet another brad nailer, the newly designed Senco 2" gun. I've really liked the DeWalt, but am concerned about it's relyability. I'm also put off because it may be necessary to buy a third nail gun in less than two years... this is getting expensive. DEWALT D51238K 5/8-Inch to 2-Inch 18-Gauge Brad Nailer

Boy I like this nailer. I have owned it for almost 2 years and have no complaints. I've never had a misfire. It drives 2 inch nails with ease. Best of all it's light. I used it for window and door molding and cabinet work. This gun is easy to load, and easy to change the depth of the shot.

Some nice features are:

1. As the nails run low, an indicator appears to show that you have 6 nails left. Then it moves to show a countdown to show when you are empty. It's nice not to have to open the magazine to see how many nails you have. And of course the indicator that appears is yellow.

2. You can direct the exhaust airflow anywhere you want.

3. If the nail jams, which has only happend when I hit something below, the head easily opens so you can extract the bent nail.

I also have the 15 ga. nailer and would highly recommend both of these. I've also recommended this nailer to 2 friends and they have also had excellent results. Way to go DeWALT!!

Update: add another year of use, still working strong. No problems at all.

I just bought this nailer at Home Depot several months ago for our trim crew. We specifically use 18G bradders for shoe and other small moldings. This unit is the best we've ever come in contact with. The guys tried the Porter Cab tools and they don't seem to have the power to set nails and they don't feel nearly as durable as the Dewalt. The depth setting mechanism on this tool is tops as well

I recently purchased this 18 gauge Brad Nailer and a Porter Cable Pancake Compressor for Christmas. I waited to write a review until I had time to test it properly and I am still not certain that I am giving the Nailer a proper review. To start with I thought that all of the fittings for connecting to a compressor would come with the Nail Gun but these items were not included. I purchased the necessary fittings, which were very inexpensive, set it up and started testing it. Since I have never used a Nail Gun before, I changed the trigger to the sequential trigger provided in the kit to prevent accidentially shooting too many nails in one place. I am happy with the way the Gun feels, with the depth it shoots brads, how easy it is to change the depth, eveything EXCEPT that sometimes it dry fires for no reason. I have tried doing the things the instructions suggest to prevent this but I was still able to dry fire once about every 15 shots. Other than this the gun is really nice and I hope that I can talk to someone at Dewalt to resolve this problem. As of Jan. 2 I can not get through to anyone at Dewalt for assistance. I will write again as soon as I get assistance and the problem is resolved or if the problem remains I will down grade my review.

I received this nail gun as a free gift from DeWalt for purchasing a certain amount of products from them. I had previously used only Spot Nails and Omer nail guns, available only through a supplier, but as soon as I tried the DeWalt, I could tell it was superior even to my Spot Nails gun. I've used it for two years now in the cabinet and molding industry, and as my shop has grown, I will be getting a few more of these nail gun for my guys to use. I have recommended this gun to all of my friends in the industry. I do not blindly endorse DeWalt products, but this nail gun really is a good product. - Nail Gun - Brad - Dewalt Nailer - Nailer'

Dumbbells - fitness

I officially kicked off my effort to work out with this Altus set of dumbbells, and I have to say, they are great. I was definitely a beginner, and didn't want to go get a gym membership and be surrounded by strange people, so I thought I'd just lift some weights at home. To be honest, I didn't even know what Neoprene was when I started looking and my only exposure to dumbbells was PE class as a kid where the weights were metal. These are GREAT!! They are coated with this rubberized material (Neoprene). They feel good, they just don't slip, they don't smell AT ALL, and they aren't cold and hard like metal weights. Had no idea weights could be so pleasant to use. I did go through these very quickly. From 3 lbs to 5 lbs to 8 lbs and now I'm ready for more. On the positive side, works great and I'm stronger in a week! 8 lbs is definitely enough if you just want to tone your arms, but I'm on to even bigger ones such as 15 lb and 20 lb, but I'm sticking with Neoprene. Highly recommend these, great purchase! Altus Athletic 32-Pound Dumbbell Set with Stand

Since I was too weak to carry 32lbs of weights back to my apartment, I was happy to find these offered on Amazon with free shipping! The shipping would have cost about as much as the weights themselves, so this deal was too good to pass up. Other than that, they're weights. They do their job of being heavy if I do my job of lifting them. So far so good.

I bought this including 2 day shipping for $32.98! can't beat that! If I had any complaint is the stand is somewhat cheap and can be sharp when placing the weights back on the stand so be careful not to hurt your hands.

The 32 dumbbell set with stand is nice. We have used it quite alot and really enjoyed it. I hate to complain, as I hate reading complaints, lol, but I bought these from Amazon because they were on the Todays Deal, and I was so excited about getting a bargain on these weights! Come to find out, what I paid is the normal price Amazon sells them for, I guess they just jacked the price up before putting them on the today's deal.

Bad form Amazon, bad form.... It makes me wary to jump to grab any other Todays Deals...but I will give the product review 5 stars as the weight set is as pictured and described.

I'll keep this simple.

The weights themselves are weighty. The covering makes them easy to hold, and exercising with them is fine. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about them.

The stand is basic plastic, but is sturdy and does a fine job of holding the weights in a compact manner. Came with an extra screw too, in case one vanishes.

If you're looking for a basic lightweight set like I was, you can't go wrong here. - Fitness'

Sports Games - sports games, move

The long wait is over and the verdict is in: Sports Champions for Sony Move is a winner.

Sports Champions can either be purchased separately or bundled with the Playstation Eye and Move Controller. (I've left my thoughts on the Move under my review for the Playstation Move Starter Bundle)

I suspect that, as with Wii Sports, most people who get a Move will get it as part of the Starter Kit. But for those who are purchasing it separately, here's everything you need to know about the game.

Before you start up the game, the system will calibrate the Move controller. You'll see an image of your room on the screen, and using augmented reality it'll draw a box around a region which you'll need to stand in throughout gameplay. The system will ask you to move your controller to your shoulders, to your side, and to your belt buckle.

There are six sports to choose from. With each, you can select a tutorial (highly recommended) that talks you through how to play each game.

Disc Golf: Here, you compete against each other or the CPU throwing a frisbee on a golf course trying to get to the target. The scenery is breathtaking. You'll stand on mountaintops, contend with lush forests, and more. Like a real frisbee, you can throw with as much or as little force as you need. You pick up the frisbee by holding the "T" button, and when you release the button it releases the frisbee. The controls are remarkably accurate, although it will take getting used to throwing without having the resistance of a real frisbee.

Gladiator Duel: This is a game where you can choose to use one or two Move controllers. It's a heck of a lot more fun with two, as you can hold your sword in one hand and your shield in the other and control them independently (with one controller, you have to choose either the sword or the shield by pressing and holding the trigger button). Each time you block a move, it'll fill up a power meter that'll let you perform a combo attack. Again, the realism is phenomenal. As you fight your opponents, you'll see damage caused to their shelds and the surrounding arena (don't worry though, it's still rated E for everyone). You'll get a great full body workout from this one.

Archery: This is another game where I'd say you need two Move controllers, so you can use one hand to hold the bow and the other to draw the arrow back (similar to Wii Sports Resort). With one Move controller, you're basically pointing and shooting, which is hardly realistic. Again, graphics are great--you feel like you're in the middle of Sherwood Forest.

Beach Volleyball: Unlike the similar activity on EA Sports Active, this plays like actual volleyball. You have the option of using one or two Move controllers. The attention to detail is impressive. The system will move your player around the court, but for your part you have to us timing and technique to serve (underhand or overhand), bump, set, and spike. The tutorial is highly recommended, as you can learn how advanced techniques like tipping, group blocking, and digging. Again, attention to detail is great with the blue ocean and the sound of the waves in the background.

Bocce: If you don't know what Bocce is, think of the last time you watched Olympic curling. The rules are very similar. You throw a small ball (called a jack or a pallino) to set the target. Then, two players (or teams) compete to see who can throw their larger cannonball-sized balls closest to the jack (knocking opponent's balls away is possible). The game has been around since ancient times. The realism on the game too is astounding. You can play on different surfaces (on soil, on a pier, or on asphalt, with a beautiful city skyline in the background), and the balls react accordingly. To throw the ball, you hold down the Trigger and throw using an underarm motion just like you would the real thing. Letting go of the trigger releases the ball. By adjusting your wrist motion, you can even add spin to the ball.

Table Tennis: I love playing ping-pong in real life, and I enjoyed playing it on Wii Sports Resort with the MotionPlus. But while playing it on the Wii was a lot of fun, I found that it wasn't the most realistic nor accurate game. I could easily beat the system by making exaggerated movements that didn't reflect real life, and the on-screen paddle didn't always mirror my real-life movements. With the Sony Move, you move the controller in your hand, and you see the exact same movement of your paddle on screen. You can use real-life movements to add topspin, backspin, and sidespin.

The details of the game are amazing, and the game developers have a great sense of humor (One of the trophies you earn after playing Bocce is called "I Have Heard of Bocce". And there's a neat surprise waiting for you after you win your first Bronze Cup in the different events--I won't spoil it for you, but suffice it to say it's a nice look into the "augmented reality" that the Move is ushering in).

Games have levels of beginner, intermediate, and advanced. But unlike other games, playing on the beginner level is definitely challenging and satisfying. Unlike other video games, the controls themselves are not "dumbed down" at beginner levels. Rather, the controls are the same at every level--it's just that at the beginner level you get more visual "hints" on how to perform your best and the opponents skills are also at a beginner level. So the game won't get old quickly, because as soon as you master the techniques and dominate at the beginner levels, you get to move on to stronger and stronger opponents and the visual hints start disappearing as you no longer need them.

You might notice the word I keep repeating is "realism". One thing I appreciate is that Sony didn't just ape the Wii by copying its cartoony look and feel. Instead, the graphics are photorealistic and really show off the advanced graphics capabilities of the PS3. And while I was initially blown away by the "coolness" factor of the Move Controller, I quickly forgot about that as I immersed myself into actually playing the game--which is a good sign that Sony did its job. None of the games are exactly like the real thing, of course, but they all come closer than any other video game experience before.

It's a great first effort for Sony, and hopefully indicative of things to come. Sports Champions - Motion Control - Playstation 3 - Move - Sports Games'

When I received this remote in a simple cardboard box a few days ago, I'll admit, I was credulous. No batteries? Runs on positive thoughts? Yeah, right. But to my surprise, it DID work. The only problem is, once muted, I couldn't unmute my significant other. Which is a plus, really, but every once in a while she says things that are kind of important. Overall though, I'd say I had a positive experience with the product, and would recommend it to any of my friends. Control Your Woman Remote Controller

Every real guy needs one of these! I bought 5 for me and my buddies. I have gotten more mileage out of this than most jokes. What guy doesn't dream of a mute button for his wife, or for any other woman for that matter? Just about every button on the control is perfectly on target and useful.

I have also goven one to a buddie who is planning that lonmg final walk down the aisle. He will sooon understand.

This is also made of soft plastic for when your woman hits you with it.

I thought this was genius, and I'm a girl! Actually a friend brought it to my attention and I couldn't stop laughing. If we women can't laugh at ourselves, then we shouldn't be laughing at all! If you buy it, I hope you can appreciate the humor in it. It would be awesome if it really did work though!! LOL

Control Woman Remote Control is very funny! Its a great gag gift and thats what it is. No where to put batteries and is not a universal working remote. Just one to set on tables where there's a t.v. and let the laughter and funny comments begin! As people look at each button and what it says there's always funny "woo's", "whoa's" and "I need this one's"! Funny how they go on and on about this novelty. Needing a gag gift this one is funny and is a crowd winner. I'm sure the man one would be just as funny.

So I was out with my girlfriend and she started nagging me because I had spilled coffee on my shirt and didn't have time to go home and change before we went to the restaurant.

So I pulled the remote out and started fiddling with it. The woman at a table over started acting funny. My girlfriend noticed and snatched the remote from me and started looking at it.

She was very angry that I bought this and that I tried using it on her and she dumped me on the spot. Buyer beware, I suppose.

I bought this gift for my husband this christmas thinking we would both get a laugh out of it! Well now i'm down one present for him because this is the biggest waste of money ever! All it is, is a chunk of plastic with some buttons to look like a remote - makes no sounds, no lights - NOTHING!!!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! - Bachelor Party - Remote - Humor - Control'
