Dewalt Narrow Gauge Stapler - finish staplers, dewalt

I picked this tool up about a year and a half ago for about half price on Amazon. Lets be up front, my review is based on a 68.00 investment. I use the tool only occasionally and it has worked perfectly every time. The tool has no sharp edges to mess up your finish work, the weight is light enough, depth of drive is easily adjusted with a push button, the magazine opens easily and smoothly and you can view the last of the staples as you finish a strip. I wish it had a stop to let you know when you are out of staple though. Mine also came with a good quality carry case. DEWALT D51422K 1-1/2-Inch X 1/4-Inch 18 Gauge Narrow Crown Stapler

I purchased this item from Amazon and paid far less than anything from the Big box stores. The stapler came in a very nice case with all the stadard parts...it has preformed flawlessly and exceeded my expetations. After I purchased this Amazon dropped the price 10.00 more dollars which they quickly credited back what a deal. Dewalt makes great air tools I will definetly try them again.

The tool is solid and performs well in limited situations. Its narrow staple works well for attaching wood and other stiff materials to wood. I found it ill suited for attaching felt to wood. I'm not disappointed with it because I knew its limitations beforehand.

Got this from an Amazon reseller for $65 and got what I paid for. No oil in case and, most annoying, no mention of whether it needed or or not but most people said that it actually did, easy enough. It also did not come with the male air coupler. Again not a big deal, except for someone who is expecting to use it out of the box.

Shot through a couple of dozen sticks of staples with no issues until I tried using it on Hardie Board and honestly I was not terribly surprised that it didn't work as it is mentioned as being for finish work. Aside from that it shoots true and through all the ply and 2x4s l have used it on so far.

Happy with my purchase, and would recommend it to a friend.

Exactly what you expect when buying DEWALT. Well built, good ergonomics, great performance. The ONLY thing that could be asked from DeWalt is that they include a "bump" trigger in with the kit. For shooting down backer for vinyl flooring, you need to have a bump trigger. Otherwise you'll just be there all day long.

Overall, good crown nailer for the cost. DeWalt seems to be slipping in features though. This one doesn't come with the air chuck or a belt clip. The belt clip is extremely handy...would have paid extra to have it.

Product worked flawlessly. I bought it to hang wood lattice on the ceiling of my screened in porch. Super job and no complaints. You may have to play around with air pressure so you don't drive staples thru the lattice. Be sure to give it a few drops of oil along the way, especially this time of year with high humidity. I have always liked and will continue to buy Dewalt tools. - Finish Staplers - Dewalt - Narrow Crown Stapler - Dw Stapler'

Calculators - ti-84 plus silver edition, mathematics

If you are a high school student, then this calculator is for you. It has everything you need, for algebra, precalculus, and calculus. The good thing about the 83+ is that it is upgradable, so the need for a new calculator doesn't arise, every few years. Purchasing a graph-link can add on a TREMENDOUS amount of programs to use for Physics, Geometry, and even 3D-Graphs, (previously only on the ti-89 and up). If you are in High School, do NOT get the ti-92 or ti-89, because they will probably be banned from standardized tests, and high math classes, so ask your math teacher, because they are too hard to use and understand. Also, these 2 calculators are aimed for more college-level students, so if you are in college, try the ti-89. But in every case, a ti-83+ is ideal! Texas Instruments TI-83-Plus Silver Edition

Texas Instruments produces some of the most popular and well known graphing calculators in the industry. The TI-83 plus can do most any math problem found in Algebra I, Geometry, and even some Algebra II/Trigonometry. The wide screen allows for graphing equations and multi-line functions. The graphing capabilities of the TI-83+ are a superb choice for Algebra I classes. The ability to automatically find intersections and a variety of other important components of a graph are only key presses away. The calculator has a powerful matrix editor allowing for easy multiplication, addition, and subtraction of matrices. Division of matrices is not possible. The list editor allows for statistical analysis of data both numerically and graphically. Graphically, the 83+ can plot data in several different formats.Anyone who is familiar with the BASIC computer language can program the TI-83+ with ease. The calculator supports the use of almost every function through a program. Programs can be typed directly into the calculator, or on a computer. The TI-83+ also supports a special form of programs called Flash Applications. Flash Applications are generally quite complex, and are written in a special language on the computer. The manual included with the calculator is superb. It goes into detail on every single option the calculator supports. Every section includes a Quick Start tutorial that provides an practical example covering many of the chapter's topics. Learning to program in TI-BASIC, the programming language of the calculator is possible through reading the entire manual and following the examples. The TI Graph Link cable is the interface between a computer (PC or Mac) and any TI Calculator with a link port. It comes in several variations depending on what kind of computer it will be hooked to. The cable is not included with the calculator, but can be purchased as an option. The TI-83+ Silver Edition includes a Black Link cable for Windows PCs.When the TI-83+ is outgrown, upgrading the TI-89 will require little work for anyone who has gained experience with TI's entry level graphing calculator. The TI-89 has the capability to do Calculus and 3-Dimensional graphs primarily.Overall, the 83+ is an excellent choice for anyone taking an Algebra course or any math class above that. The calculator does basic arithmetic, graphic, statistics, matrices, and a variety of other mathematical operations.

If you are thinking of using this calculator for Algebra, Geometry, basically any straight math, especially Calculus, DON'T. That is not to say it won't work, just that there are better things out there, namely the TI-89. The 89 is somewhat more expensive, but, in my opinion and experience, it is far superior for these applications. A few reasons: easier to get the results from previous entries, support for derivitives and integrals, and the higher resolution looks better and lets you put more on the screen at one time, as well as allowing more symbols. However, if you are planning on using the calculator for Statistics, get the 83, because, for some unknown reason, the TI engineers declined to put ANY suppport for stats on the 89, but the 83 is great at it. I have owned TI calculators for many years, and I have never experienced any quality or production problems with them and have never had any of them break except when treated REALLY badly, such as having very heavy, blunt objects dropped on the screen, and I do tend to use mine pretty hard.

I don't recommend spending $100 on a calculator if you don't really need it. Being a college student taking a Statistics class, I was forced to buy the TI-83. I am very happy with it and the various things you can do with it. If you do buy the TI-83 (which I recommend), you should definitely purchase the Graph-Link cable to go along with it. The cable allows you to download various programs and even some cool games from the Internet.

The calculator is fine for school use, up through college as long as you're not majoring in math, physics, or something that motivates a top level device (such as the HP4* or TI89). One major benefit with the 83+ is that it's so common that most teachers know how to use it, many classmates will too, and there is tons of apps and info about it online. However, this isn't really why I'm writing here. I want you all to take a good look at many of the reviews. Especially the five-star ones that say "this is the only calculator you'll ever need!!!", "buy now before it gets too expensive!!", "the Ti83+ is everything you'll ever need and more!!" Notice how they are all from anonymous posters, correctly spelled (a dead giveaway) and well articulated? I swear it breaks my heart that these type of reviews from "users" can't be trusted anymore. It's a fact that resellers and manufacturers actually pay people to write up their products on web boards and commerce sites such as Amazon.Don't trust the ratings or the reviews here. For a proper evaluation, look at the technical magazines that review gadgets, and talk to teachers and classmates instead. - Graphing Calculator - Mathematics - Calculators - Ti-84 Plus Silver Edition'

Cordless Screwdriver - drill, cordless screwdriver

This tool is, for the money, one of the best values around. Don't go to Home Depot and buy a Ryobi 12 volt. This tool has 10 more inch/pounds of torque, 100 more rpm's of speed, and it's actually made by Black and Decker. The Ryobi's are made by Techtronic, which is obviously NOT Ryobi of Japan. Not knocking Ryobi of Japan, of course. Those are DIFFERENT tools altogether. The closest real competitor would be a craftsman, which is more expensive, and barring Craftsman Professional, no more product for the money. Feels solid and backed by a great home use warranty of two years. MUST HAVE !!! Black & Decker CDC120ASB 12-Volt Compact Drill with 20 Accessories

This is a very good drill/driver for occasional home use. The driver function is very good, I expected a little more from the drill, which is a little slow considering the power of this machine, and if you are going to use this drill for long periods, you will find it a little bit heavy. But overall, it works great for occasional use. Also, considering it is cordless, makes both for drill and drive, comes with all the accessories you will need for occasional use (drill and drive bits) and it comes with a carrying bag... put all this into account and you have a great value for you money.

I used this drill a few days ago to bore holes for a handsome piece of black locust root that I was mounting as a found sculpture on a mahogany base. It worked well both in drilling the mahogany and the locust, and in driving screws using the excellent fully adjustable torque which is one of the features of this drill.

It comes in a handsome carrying case with a handle and an assortment of drill and screw bits. It was relatively inexpensive. A good buy and a good tool.

JS

Regardless of what specs the drill has, what it doesn't say in the description is that you have to plug the recharging plug directly into the drill handle to charge the battery. Therefore, there is no way to have a second battery charging while you continue to use the drill since there is no separate charging station. Omitting this from the description is not enough to avoid responsibility for the obvious disadvantage of this drill. The package says that the battery is easily removable which implies it can be swapped for a fully charged battery. There are no pictures that show the hole in the back of the handle that the charger has to plug into. A truly stupid system. They should forget about the extras they include and just make a charging station for it like most other 12 volt drills.

If you are looking for an economical general use cordless drill, you might want to check out his model. It is powered by a 12 volt battery, and develops decent torque (rated at 105 inch/pounds) for light to moderate tasks. This drill is probably not suited for heavy commercial construction applications, as it does not reach high speeds, or develop high torque, and the battery life is probably not long enough to last you through a full day of heavy duty use.

For the casual user however, the drill may meet your needs. The frame is on the smaller side, and it is relatively lightweight. It is simple to use, as the motor operates in forward or reverse, controlled by a switch in the handle. With the proper bit, it can handle materials like plastics, wood, CMU, and some metals.

The torque is adjustable to six different levels. At the maximum setting, (using a masonry bit), the drill is supposed to be able to handle concrete walls. When you intend to drill through dense material, keep in mind that the bits are locked down by hand tightening the chuck (there is no key), so if the chuck is not tight enough, it may free spin if your bit gets stuck.

The battery needs to be attached to the drill to be charged. Power is plugged into a jack on the back of the handle. A double sided screwdriver bit, is attached to a clip on the drill body. The drill comes with a no frills nylon carrying case, and a few assorted bits. For light tasks, this lightweight tool could be a good option, but repeating again, this drill is not designed for high speed, or heavy torque applications. If you intend to do mostly heavy duty tasks, you would be better off buying a more powerful unit, that operates at higher voltage.

It does what it says it will do.. Not a heavy duty tool, but not priced as one either. It comes with the same accessories that every other drill comes with. These do however seem to stand up better then others. The battery dies a bit to soon for my tastes, but still good for it's size. If you use a drill everyday or once a week, this might not be the best choice.

I basically use this for small projects around the house. Not good for all day use as you can't charge the battery without it being connected to the drill. Lightweight, great for projects around the house.

This is my first drill,i was skeptical how it would work,it worked great.it comes with all the drill set bits so i need not purchase them seperately (so no extra12$).I bought some furnitures(dresser, nightstands) from ikea and needed this to assemble them ,it was very compact and was very easy to use.Glad i made this purchase.

I won't get into specifics, because other reviews have done that pretty well. My take on this drill is that it is very strong and pretty comfortable to hold, and I'm surprised how good it is for the price. With a full charge, it seemed as powerful as my corded drill.

1-Month Update:

I was very pleased with this drill when I first got it. I use a cordless drill semi-regularly, for all sorts of things, and it kept up well. That is until I needed to drill some holes in the wooden supports in my basement ceiling. I had to run a cable wire from one side of the basement to another, and needed some new holes to properly run the wire. This drill cut through the first few with no problem, but on about the 5th one, I noticed the entire plastic casing seemed to be flexing slightly. By the time I was done, my drill was about twice as loud as it used to be, and had about 1/3 the power and speed. Clearly something inside got messed up; I don't know if it was the motor or gears or what. Even after fully charging it, it's god-awfully loud, slow, and weak. And of course I'm just a couple days past being able to return it. Now, I know I was using it for a pretty harsh job for a cordless drill, but I previously owned just about the cheapest Ryobi screwdriver you could buy, and it never failed me or gave me problems until about the 5th year of owning it and using it. All in all, I'd recommend this drill to someone if they only need to drill lightweight holes or to use it only as a screwdriver. But if you need to drill through anything substantial, you might as well use a corded drill or spend some more money on a better cordless one. - Black And Decker - Drill - Cordless Screwdriver - Cordless Tools'

Kindle Covers - book light, kindle accessory

I've noticed that like myself customers have been concerned primarily with two things regarding the new lighted case from amazon. These are: 1)The weight and 2) The uneven lighting. My review will briefly discuss these two things.

1)The Weight - The lighted leather case is a nice weight, sturdy and comfortable to hold. In ounces it is about the weight of the kindle itself however don't let that concern you. With the case on it feels like a medium sized paperback, however it is far much more comfortable to hold. It's easy to hold the case open like a book (nice for couch and table type reading) or to fold the front back and close it with the bungee so that the bungee doesn't hang around (this is good for bedtime reading).Closing the front back with bungee keeps the case folded in position and you don't have to worry about it bothering you. BTW THIS CASE FOLDS BACK 100% - Very comfortable. In sum very comfortable to read with the case and very sturdy.

2) The uneven lighting - Amazon's pictures don't do this case justice. The light hits the ENTIRE screen. Yes if you look closely it's brighter in the top right corner then in the bottom left but Amazon's pics make it look the top is lighted while the bottom is dark. There is good light all over the screen. Trust me I'm fussy about these things - the lighting will not bother you, your entire screen will be lighted and it is extremely pleasant to read in the dark.

*Final Thoughts - Great case, good quality, works well, kindle feels very secure and protected (I would feel comfortable slipping this case into my backpack or suitcase and I think it would sustain some mild impact). Lastly hinges are a non-issue, casing of the kindle will not get damaged with normal or even slightly aggressive use. You could damage the kindle by trying to pull the back of the case but you'd have to really force it to cause any sort of damage to your kindle. The hinges work fine and should not be a concern to any case user.

Update 1st December 2010:

Have now been using the case for 3 months. Leather still looks impeccable. Some people expressed concern that the bungee cord might loosen with use. I have not experienced any loosening so far. Quality of the product has proven outstanding. I've occasionally spilled or messed the cover, just a wipe with a damp cloth has cleaned it up, and the case looks like new. Have to admit I enjoy the feel of the case in my hand, there's just something great about taking your kindle to a coffee shop in this case, it just looks and feels so classy. Also with regard to the hinges: I have had no scratches on my kindle or any other issues, so I remain convinced that the hinges are a non issue. Kindle Lighted Leather Cover, Hot Pink (Fits 6" Display, Latest Generation Kindle)

I was hesitant to buy this cover mostly due to the pictures in its listing, which seem to show a light that doesn't even extend to the opposite corner. The fact that I have not been impressed with the Amazon's Kindle covers in the past didn't help. I went ahead and purchased it because the cover I wanted isn't available yet and I don't like to take my Kindle out and about without a cover. Now I am glad that I went ahead and bought it.

PROS:

1. The light is much better than I thought it would be. Using it in a darkened room I found that the light did the job very well. In a pitch black room, it performs even better. While the screen corner opposite the light is a bit dimmer than other areas, there is no problem reading the page at all.

2. The light gets its power from the Kindle itself, through the gold-plated hinges which attach it to the cover, so batteries are a thing of the past. When your Kindle goes to sleep, the light will go out as well. It will also turn off when you slide it back into the case.

3. The cover is slim, well-fitted and very easy to attach and detach using the hinges. The inside has good padding. The leather outer surface has a nice pebbled texture with the exception of a smooth area along the edge of the front. While stiff enough to protect the reader, the cover is slight flexible and the front easily folds behind when reading so you can hold your Kindle with one hand if you like.

4. A great plus is that the cover has an elastic cord that fits into a groove on the front of it. This holds your cover closed (unlike the original Kindle 2 cover that would flop open in your purse & let things slide into it) and easily distinguishes the front from the back--important as many owners of the Kindle 2 cover accidentally opened it from the back, which could cause cracking along the Kindle's spine.

CONS:

I haven't found any, really. The light Is a bit hard (stiff) to pull out of the cover, but then you wouldn't want it to be flopping out when you don't want to use it so that is more of a Pro than a Con.

The one concern I do have is about pulling the light in and out--I wonder if whatever wiring or conductor that is used to get the power from the hinges to the light will eventually break. But that is something to find out down the road. Right now, the more I use this cover, the more I like it. - Kindle Lighted Leather Cover - Book Light - Kindle Covers - Kindle Accessory'

Plantar Fasciitis - arch supports, powerstep

These insoles are excellent for relieving the debilitating pain of Plantar Fasciitis (AKA: Heel Spurs).

A few years back I went to a store and got some $400 custom-made inserts. Later, I started running and developed incredible heal pain and stiffness. When I'd get up in the morning, my first steps would be so painful I'd groan out loud and shuffle like an old man.

I now own 8 pairs of these inserts. I first came across these based on reviews from the heelspurs website. For a while, I switched them between several pairs of shoes... and finally, I purchased enough so I wouldn't have to keep switching them out. They work in dress shoes, running shoes, and casual shoes. I have them in New Balance Walking, New Balance Hiking, New Balance Running, Avia running, Nun Bush Dress, and Rockports.

They may be 0.1 to 0.25" inches higher than your shoe's original insoles. If your shoes are tight, you may have to loose your laces a little more to accommodate the difference. For best results, try new shoes on in the stores with a pair of these insoles.

Within the first 3 months of using these, all of my heal pains receded. My tendons and ligaments returned do their normal condition, and I don't hurt any more.

One warning of note though, getting the correct size is relatively important. I once re-ordered some of these 1/2 size smaller than the others I'd purchased (by mistake). The 1/2 shoe size difference changed the position of the arch support just enough that my feet started to hurt again. I had to exchange the smaller inserts for the larger size. Powerstep Original Full Length Orthotic Insoles FL-G (M10-10.5/W12-12.5)

I have had 5 pairs of Powerstep insoles--2 original and 3 Pinnacle. While the Pinnacle might seem like a better deal because it is only a couple of bucks more and provides some additional cushioning, I have found that they do not last nearly as long. I still have the first 2 pairs of the original model, but have worn out all of the Pinnacle versions. The neoprene cushioning will give way after about 500 miles of running, but the Originals seem to be as effective as the day I bought them. Good running shoes do not need additional cushioning (I highly recommend the Asics Nimbus if you are a neutral to under-pronator). I have found that these insoles extend the useable life of the Asics Nimbus shoes (good thing because they are expensive), apparently because the semi-rigid insole distributes my weight more evenly on the mid-sole, so the mid-soles does not break down as quickly.

I bought the first pair because of having troubles with plantar fascitis, and it was helpful there. 90% of the time this is all I need to keep it at bay. Occasionally I will use the famous soda can therapy that quickly clears up any hints of PF (in case you have not heard of this therapy, it consists of sitting in a chair while rolling a can under the arch and heel of your foot).

There may be other insoles that do as good of a job and last as long, but I have been so satisfied with these, why try anything else?

First impression is not great. I ordered these on-line and then before they came I happened to see the Dr. Scholl's Foot Mapping machine in a store. The machine recommended Dr. Scholl's Custom Fit Orthotic Inserts CF 440 because I have low arch and very high pressure. I went ahead and bought those and started wearing them, and I love them. These were not the cheap replacement in-soles, BTW, like I've tried before from the drug store. They were more expensive than the Powersteps.

Then the Powerstep Originals came in the mail. After wearing them a while both my feet were hurting, although originally it was only my right foot that was bothering me.

Maybe my feet would get used to them after a while. The directions do say to wear them only a few hours a day at first. However, the Dr. Scholl's orthotic inserts provided immediate relief without any need for a break-in period.

I have tried everything from off the rack insoles to custom made orthotics to address the shin pain, due to overpronation or flat feet, I get from fast walking and running.

These are no magic cure for me, but they at least feel like they are doing something. Unlike most off the rack insoles the arches of these don't just flatten out with your foot, they provide real support but not too much ( like WalkFits ).

Even though the outer parts wearout with use the internal hard arch piece seems to hold up well. Once the outer layers wear away I plan on just putting the hard part under thin insoles to keep using them. I suspect these would be helpful for those who have minor foot problems.

I had a heel spur (plantarus fasciaitis - No idea how to spell it) and podiatrist recommended a great run/walk shoe store. The running shop had more info on the condition than the podiatrist and almost demanded these. Problem cured!!

I have heard of people suffering for years with heel spurs. Instant relief! Plus these cured it in less than 60 days.

Other insoles are just pads and cushions. Powersteps are rigid and hold the foot and support the arch.

I was looking for a soft orthotic that would cushion the metatarsal or bottom front of my feet. These turned out to be made from almost hard material and were in no way what I was looking for. The descriptions and pictures of the orthotics are not good enough to allow you to select the correct orthotic you want. These may be good orthotics to someone but were not what I was looking for. AND I ordered two pair. So now I have two pair that I have not used and probably never will.

My advice is to not order something like this online unless you have a specific part or model number and know what you are getting is correct. Craig Murphy - Arch Supports - Plantar Fasciitis - Orthotics - Powerstep'

Aqua Sphere - training fins, swim gear

These babies make me feel like I'm about to qualify for the Olympics! Not only do I swim faster, I swim smarter. After several laps with them, I take them off and continue on my own, paying attention to my kicking and mimicking the motion and speed attained with fins on. They're training me to be a more efficient and better swimmer. On top of that, they're comfortable, well-designed, they even float (well mostly, at least they don't sink like a stone as some of the other training fins I've seen do) these are a great way to bump up the usual lap routine. They definitely work the big muscles in the thighs, front and back. Highly recommended. TYR Burner EBP Fin, Large, Red - Training Fins - Swim Gear - Swimming - Aqua Sphere'

Flexible Keyboard - iphone, keyboard

This is an update of a review I submitted 10 days ago. The most important thing you should realize is that this keyboard does not behave as a rigid keyboard does. That's both good news and bad news. The good news is that it's easy to fold and can easily fit into a standard Ziplock bag with lots of room to spare. It's ultra-portable. The bad news is that all this malleability comes at a price.

I find that when I type on the keyboard, I often make mistakes. Letters either repeat or don't appear at all. There is undoubtedly a learning curve to reduce typos, but what confounds me is that the keys are not equally calibrated as far as touch is concerned. A relatively light touch on let's say the "x" might yield multiple x's, whereas the same level of pressure on the "y" might not yield anything at all. The trick to using the keyboard is to keep your eye on the iPhone screen and make sure that your input is being entered as you intend.

While you may need to make corrections as you enter text, you will nevertheless find that text entry is much faster with this KB than with the iPhone's virtual keyboard. In contrast, my fingers fly on the Apple bluetooth KB, and there's no error correction needed. On the other hand, my dollars were flying faster, too (at $70 versus $30).

Pairing is easy, and if you're on a Mac or using an iPhone 4, you don't need the CD that ships with the KB.

In my earlier review I wrote, "I received the KB yesterday, just a few days after I ordered, and immediately fell in love with it....Today, while showing this amazing KB off to some friends, an entire row of keys (asdf) and the space bar stopped working."

I'm happy to say that the distributor was incredibly responsive to my problem. They paid for my return shipping and immediately sent me a replacement via Priority Mail.

Disappointingly, the new KB didn't leave as positive a first impression as its predecessor. The original KB did not exhibit the same level of key pressure unevenness. This leads me to believe that the keyboards are somewhat idiosyncratic. Quality varies from KB to KB.

In summary, this is a great peripheral to carry around with you for light typing. It's incredibly compact and lightweight. But, if you plan to sit in an airport for several hours and catch up on your email or do heavy some document editing in your favorite Microsoft Office substitute app, you would probably be better served by a rigid keyboard. Menotek Flexible Bluetooth Waterproof Mini Keyboard For Apple iPad and iPad 2 and Galaxy Tab and Motorola Xoom and iPhone 4/4G, Windows, Mac, Linux

I am writing this review using my Menotek keyboard, which is attached to my wifi Ipad via it's bluetooth capacity! It outdid my expectations to say the least! I don't even need wifi around to use my keyboard-- once I've linked the keyboard (go to settings, then bluetooth, then enter the # that pops up on the iPad screen. note: you have to do this each time you use the keyboard, but it doesn't take long) it can be used anywhere. meetings. conferences. seminars. I know. I used it during a week-long conference where the power points were extensive and moving fast. With this keyboard, I kept up with all the notes and then some! I should mention that I had JUST gotten the keyboard, yet was able to use it immediately without extra practice. It DOESN'T take much to get used to it. :) I simply rested iPad and keyboard on a book I'd brought along. :)

This keyboard is the first flexible one I have owned. the fact that it was said to work great with the Ipad (a true claim), has raised keys, is waterproof, bluetooth AND rechargeable helped me decide to buy it. But mainly I went by the reviews.... that is why I'm writing this one... so YOU don't have to worry/search as long as I did.

Here are some of my original questions answered:

- YES it works with wifi (even wifi only) iPads.

- BELIEVE the almost 5 star rating (other flexible keyboards are lucky to get three stars)

- YES, the keyboard REALLY is extremely flexible and DOES roll up pretty tiny. (DON'T keep it in a ziplock like I did...I don't think it is very good for it not to "breath"...besides, I've since had reason to need more protection for it than a simple baggie (on a plane flight I stuffed the keyboard into my carry-on and ended up forgetting its presence and damaging it later, fitting more stuff on top of it :( ... Shows I love this product, I guess, because, I forked out the dough for a new one ;). )

- YES, it has a number pad. It's enough for me -and I work in an office! (the #'s double up with the main keyboard. just turn on # lock)

- I LIKE the mini sized keyboard (the KEYS aren't really mini...it just doesn't have an additional number pad attached to the side.

- product shipped to me fairly fast from this company.

- the keyboard looks great with the ipad, and is size appropriate :)

- keyboard battery life lasts at LEAST all day with full use (I haven't tested longer than that before charging it)

- keyboard WORKS with my iphone 3Gs, after the iphone4 update. yay!

- I CAN rest my fingers on these keys since they are raised, WITHOUT it typing uncontrollably. a BIG plus!

note: you will need a lap desk, large book, or other to use the keyboard. not a problem for me.

Also, Apple bluetooth keyboard = $70. This bluetooth easy-travel keyboard? = $30! yeah. That's a no brainer. :) I'm a happy typer now! :D - Ipad - Flexible Keyboard - Iphone - Keyboard'
