Corded Phone - good quality, 1-line corded phones

I selected this phone in order to provide caller ID in our kitchen. Our phone is mounted in a part of the kitchen that does NOT have a nearby electrical outlet that most of Caller ID phones require. This one operates on two AA batteries and is simple and easy to use. The only drawback is that when the phone is mounted on a wall surface there is a space of about 1/4 inch between the phone and the wall that is a bit unsightly when viewed from the side, but this is not a serious drawback. Panasonic KX-TSC11W Corded Phone with Caller ID (White)

This is a very reliable, easy to read phone (for all of you with aging eyes!)

My only problem is that is doesnt have a speaker - which of course is my fault for assuming and not checking. It has a very easy memory function, which I love. All around for the price, a great, reliable phone.

Took a few minutes to change the adapter on the back of the phone to use as a wall phone because the instructions weren't too clear. But other than that it works very well. I like the memory and way to access the missed calls. Because we have caller ID the name and number are there. A simple press of a button scrolls through the missed call list and the stored phone number list. Lift the receiver and the number is called. Even the fact that the phone doesn't fit flush against the wall has become an asset making it easier to read the screen. So we are quite happy with the phone.

Update: Three years later and no problem with the phone. I have noticed that the clear button really doesn't clear past calls. I think it just sets a pointer so the old calls are still actually stored. But who cares...not really a big problem.

I have always found Panasonic phones to be keepers. This one is no exception. Good solid audio, controls that make sense, durable, attractive. I bought a number of them on the Amazon "Warehouse Deals" program. They arrived promptly and had no flaws that I could find.

Corded phones have been disappearing from stores and online vendors.

For some buyers this unit lacks usual features ( no speakerphone or answering ) but has other essentials- caller ID and waiting , plus phone book. It is relatively small and most important- Panasonic quality.

For those who still prefer a corded phone ( as a backup to cell and/or cordless or as a primary unit) I would definitely recommend.

This is a good reasonably priced phone. I have a hearing impediment and wondered if the volume setting would be enough for me to clearly understand conversations. I was happy to find that I can use this phone without any problems. Only thing I would have liked was a backlit display window. Setting the LCD contrast to the highest position still isn't enough to make out the display without having it under a light.

This review is based on the looks of the phone - not on its function. Most importantly, this phone is not "white" - it is dingy off-white, almost putty-colored, which will not blend in with other white items. Secondly when the phone is wall mounted it doesn't cover the standard wall plate and protrudes awkwardly from the wall and plate (I think another reviewer mentioned this too); the line cord is also visable and doesn't tuck behind the phone like other wall-mounted phones do. If you are looking for a corded Caller ID that doesn't need A/C power, only consider this phone if you don't care about the color and about the wall-mount system. I'm sure that the sound quality is up to Pansonic standards but it is a very unattractive phone.

I bought this phone as a wall phone to be hung on a wall in the kitchen. I needed a corded phone because I had no electrical outlet for a cordless phone. Unfortunately, when you hang up the phone in its cradle, the slightest touch or motion will make it fall from its hanging position. This phone was made to be placed on a horizontal surface as the plastic lip to hold it in place when you hang up the phone vertically, was poorly constructed and does not hold. It was a poor choice for that reason.

This phone suits almost exactly what I was looking for. It is for the bedroom, a hardly used phone. I have caller id and was looking for a corded phone with caller id and this is perfect. The only thing it doesn't have which I wish it did, the dials or called id screen do not light up at night. I've got to turn on the light to see who is calling. Other than that, this is a great phone; good quality for the price! I'm pleased! - 1-line Corded Phones - Caller Id - Good Quality - Corded Speakerphone'

Skin Care - skin care, android tablet

I like everything about the case except for one thing... The rubber on the bottom near all the ports (dock connecdtions, hdmi out, etc..) is very thin, and it doesn't really fully fit around the bottom. It stays on, but it's very easy to take off on the bottom. Also, I dont really like how it adds so much bulkiness. However i really like how it makes a little raised edge on the screen, so you can turn it upside down when you're trying to listen to music because the speakers are on the back. I also like how it is rubbery, and it so it helps with getting a good grip on the Xoom. I haven't tried docking it yet, so I hope that it sill works even though the case is on it.

Pros: Raised edge, protective, rubber feel so good grip

Cons: makes xoom bulky, thin rubber part on the bottom Motorola Protective Gel Case for MOTOROLA XOOM Black (Motorola Retail Packaging)

Pros

I like the skin so far. It grips your hand thus making it hard to drop.

Cons

Collects lots of dust. The edges are all poorly put together. Little pieces of rubber stick out where the front little part and the back come together.

Besides that perfect fit, and should be good enough to protect it from scrstches at least.

I got this for my Xoom after reading all the bad reviews about the portfolio case. I like that it will fit into the standard dock with the case on. I am still hoping for a better portfolio type case that protects the screen as well.

This type of protector is really all you need. The screen on the Xoom is made of Gorilla Glass which is VERY tough...the back is actually more delicate. The protector adds a bit of depth to the device but not enough heft to matter. All the ports are well exposed and the material makes it easier to grip the device without feeling like it might slip out of your hands.

This gel case was just what I was looking for. I tried all the electonic stores that carried the xoom, but none had this case in stock. I even tried a verizon store.

Anyway the case gives added grip to the back of the case which is nice and now I don't have to worry about the back getting scratched when I put it down on the table.

The only part that is loose on my case is right between the dock connector and screen. This is due to it only having a little bit of rubber here.

The case is what you would expect for a slip over gel covering. The biggest downside is that the rubber material is very flexible and can at times pull away from the edge. A harder plastic would make it maintain it's shape better.

I purchased this case with the Xoom, and it has been perfect for me! It keeps the body covered, and when used with a screen protector, it offers almost complete protection. I have yet to find this case too loose- it has fit the case very nicely from day 1. Unlike portfolio cases that you need to open up every time you use the Xoom, this case offers the same protection with easier access.

My gel case came with the xoom and that's what it's worth. I split the corner getting it on. It does not add much grip at all. The volume buttons are covered with raised dots that I cannot feel, I have to look for them. It'll help until I buy a real case.

I've owned this case for as long as I've owned the WiFi XOOM (since release date about a week ago), and I'm very happy with it. The case is a perfect fit with absolutely no wiggle room, and it stays snug on the device without any movement. It also has very accurate cutouts for the ports and speakers; the volume keys are very easy to access and press. Overall, it's a good case to have if you don't want to go with Motorola's Portfolio case (read my review Motorola Protective Portfolio Case for MOTOROLA XOOM (Motorola Retail Packaging).

The only cons I can think of would be that the case is a bit more slippery than you would expect a silicone case to be, but that's a very minor gripe. I fully recommend this case. - Skin Care - Android - Android Tablet - Accessories'

Bargaincell - combo packs, bargaincell

my gf bought this for her optimus, overall its a good standard case but i have 2 things to say bout these cases. first off the light blue they show in there pictures is actually dark blue not light see through blue. the real issue we had was about the hole you plug your charger in. they made it too small. you cant stick your charger all the way in cause of the box right behind ur charger plug in get blocked. we had to take a knife and cut out the hole a little bigger and it didnt look as good GTMax 5 Silicone Skin Soft Cover Case (Black + Clear + Hot Pink + Blue + Purple) for Sprint LG Optimus S LS670

These cases fit my Optimus perfect!! The only downfall is that the charger doesn't fit in the phone right with the case off, so I have to slip the bottom of the phone out of the case, but no biggie...it's exactly what I was looking for!!

i bought 5 optimus s phones and needed cases. i couldn believe how much they were at the mall. So i thought even if i save 3 dollars i would be happy, right? i am so pleased with the fit and price i will buy again as soon as i need too. GREAT DEAL!!!!!! - Combo Packs - Bargaincell'

Tools

If you need something for small jobs than this is the set for you. I use it to do small jobs at home. Driving and drilling holes and I like the mini circular saw for thin cuts. If you try to use the circular saw for something bigger than thinner boards, then you will have to cut oneside and flip it over. I like the light it flips only to one side but gives decent light. The carrying case is cool but tools have to be strategically places to fit comfortably. The bag holds everything else batteries and charger in side pockets. I havent used the saber saw yet but everything else works just fine. The conclusion is this is a cool set of tools for the small jobs. Skil 2895LI-20 18-Volt 4-Tool Combo Kit

The Skil tools are very nice for the occasional handyman. On building projects, I have used more expensive brands. The battery life on the Skil tools is not as long, but for the average person they work just fine. A professional would choose a more expensive brand, I'm sure.

I'm currently only using the drill and the circular saw. Don't really need the other saw and the flashlight. I think it does a good job for my household needs. I've had it for only a week, so I don't know how good is the battery. Some websites said that it could be a hit-and-miss with the Li Batteries. I will try to update on that later. So far so good, though.

I bought this combo kit because it was on sale and had good decent reviews, especially the drill and the circular saw. And since Skil is owned by Bosh, they're supposed to be good quality.'

Dell Inspiron 6400 - 9-cell, dell laptop battery

We have been using our Dell E1505 as a "desktop" (always plugged in) for over two years since the original Dell battery quit. I couldn't justify the $150 dollar fee for a new battery. I have been waiting for both a non-dell battery to come down in price and get good reviews. The battery came promptly installed fine. I conditioned according to another posts recommendations "On your initial charge of 100% charging you let the battery drain to 40% and then recharge to 100% and then the second depletion to 20% and back to a full recharge cycle. This helps maintain the battery condition and in some aspects the "Brain" of the battery so to speak is set in motion and maintains battery health througout time. ". I don't keep the laptop plugged in all the time when I am working at a table. So far so good. Keeps charge for 4-6 hours before needing to plug in. Time will tell how long this battery lasts - had it about a month. NEW 7200mAh (9-cell) High Capacity Laptop Battery for Dell Inspiron 6400, E1505

We purchased this item to replace a dead battery in our e1505 dell laptop. We followed the instructions to maximize battery life. It held one full charge and now will hold zero charge and is dead. After a few hours of attempting charge, removing the power cable immediately shows dead battery light. It seems like other people have had fair success with these battery replacements, but unfortunately we're not one of them.

I am practically computer illiterate but ordered this battery when my original gave out after 4 years. I had no trouble either installing it or convincing my computer (Dell Inspiron E1505)to operate effectively. I followed one reviewer's suggestion of draining it to 40%, recharging to 100%, then draining to 20%, etc. When fully charged now I have 6 hours of time, although I haven't tested that to the max......about 4 hours is the most I have used it. I do leave it plugged in when not in use, but plan to use it on a 2-week trip soon, so will find out how it holds up when unplugged. I am well pleased with the prompt shipment by the vendor, as well as the battery itself.

This was the greatest thing I could've bought for my Inspiron 6400. Like other users mentioned, I've been using my laptop ike a desktop for over a year (it's been plugged in the whole time#. As a result, I took the plunge and purchased a new battery for it. I couldn't spend the $150+ dell was asking for a 6 cell battery, so I LOVED that this battery was around $40 and was a 9 cell battery. I'm using it on high performance #vs "Balanced" or "Power Saver" mode so I can charge and discharge the battery 3-5x to ensure that it can hold a long charge) and already receive ~4 hrs. Imagine what I'll get on a "Balanced" mode or "Power Saver". Definitely purchase this battery. They even give you free return shipping if it is faulty or not to your liking. You can't go wrong!

The battery fits perfectly in my Dell Inspiron E1505. It snaps in, but it does have an extra rectangular piece that sticks out of the battery. Since the bump is slightly smaller than the "feet" on my laptop I never notice it, and aesthetics on the bottom of my computer are hardly worth buying a battery straight from dell at triple the price. I've only had it for a few days, but it's holding a charge and working great! At my balanced power settings it shows 3h. 40 min. at 100% capacity. (could be better?) So happy to be free from electric outlets!

Very pleased with my order and this product (for Dell Inspiron E1505). Seller provided prompt shipping - I ordered on Wednesday Nov. 4, and received on Friday Nov. 6. Product performs perfectly so far with no issues. Wrote seller before ordering and received a response within 48 hours (expected the response would have been sooner, but happy with the response). I would definitely do business with this seller in the future.

I got this battery for my Inspiron 6400 laptop. The first battery worked for 3 days and stopped charging. I returned it and got a second battery of the same type that charges at times, but ususally doesn't. I was happy with the seller's quick and uncomplicated return policy, but the specific product doesn't work on my laptop.

EXCELLENT! battery is a genuine Dell model (although made in china) and works 100% with my dell inspiron 6400....cant beat 50% off dell's price and its the second time i bought with this merchant, both times with no problems.. and oh, im in SoCal, but the battery arrived on friday after i ordered it on monday!"

Someone said the title is misleading and to trick ppl into thinking its not really genuine... well i inspected my battery it has all the Dell markings and serial numbers and only thing is its made in china unlike my original dell battery which was made in Japan. MOST IMPORTANTLY...its been almost two months since i bought this battery and it still holds charge a very long time (5+hours with wifi!)

PS: i've now added pics of the battery i bought from genuine adapter, model kd476. YOU decide if this is a knockoff or not.note that the product pic of the

battery on sale is DIFFERENT to the one i bought from the merchant! - Dell Inspiron Battery - Laptop Battery - Dell Laptop Battery - 9-cell'

3 5 M To Audio Cable

The cable is adequate. Sometimes it seems that the audio signal transmission through the cable is shaky and it crackles a bit, but if you don't play with it, it's okay.

It's cheap, it works, it's a cable. Enjoy. Cables Unlimited AUD-1100-06 6-Feet 3.5MM Male to Male Stereo Cable

I bought this cable to connect my laptop's audio to my TV. The sound is ok, but the plug in does not fit tightly to the laptop audio out - My other cable had a much better fit but unfortunately it was too short for my setup. For the price it is ok, but if you want a tight connection, look for a better cable.

This Cables Unlimited 3.5mm male to male cable is great in one aspect, namely price. While this attribute is undoubtedly great for those looking for a cheap cable, even at the price point, there are better options such as Scosche IU3.5RC 3.5mm Retractable Cable etc.

The sound quality is rather poor. There is a lot of noise from the cables themselves, which is somewhat less than expected as the casing of the cable seems better than the average. I primarily used this cable to connect my iPod to my car through an auxilary jack, but also experienced the aforementioned issues when connecting to a a speaker set.

I have since began using a cable bought for two dollars at a local discount store without any issues. In conclusion, even if one desires a cheap auxillary cable, this is one product to avoid. Amazon as well as local stores have plenty of other superior options at this price, and such an alternative should be pursued to avoid frustration.

It works - but - the sound crackles every time you touch the cable. If you don't touch or move your equipment I guess its sufficient. Not recommended for portable MP3 type players that you frequently move.

The cord I received is low quality. I suspect the connections between the wire and jack are poor. I have to jiggle the cord to get a good connection. If I move the cord even slightly, I get a scratchy, static filled sound. I've experienced the same problem using the cord with different players and speakers, so the cord is definitely the source of the problem.

I mean there's not a lot to say. It is what it is. Sound quality was good out of my laptop into my TV and the length meant that I could put the laptop where I wanted to (this replaces a 12 inch cable...THAT was not ideal). Cable seems of decent quality. Not flimsy nor stiff. Connectors are nice and tight when connected.

No complaints.

They crackle when you connect them or move the sound device, but when they aren't crackling they sound good. The crackling doesn't happen that terribly often. I wish I would have payed 4 more bucks for a better cable.'

Case Logic - cd case, cd storage

I just received the CityGear case that holds 320 CD/DVD. Don't let the few that have down-graded or complained in these reviews steer you away. I've owned many cases over the years and this is quite fine. First, Targus provides a lifetime warranty - within reasonable limits. Second, if you can get this item for $30 or less then your getting a fair deal. I would say this is very similar to the Case Logic CD/DVD holder - I have many. It has a quality zipper, high quality holder with top flap, and excellent stitching so your case does not fall apart. The outside looks nice. The only negative is the handle which is a hard plastic. I prefer strong material but is the least important aspect of the case and my personal preference - not a big deal. Hope this helps you. Targus CityGear 320 Capacity CD/DVD Album Case TDP019US (Black with Grey Contrasting)

I needed a case to gather my DVD collection which are over 150. This case is very strong. The outside is very elegant and the pockets are very thick and hold the DVDs well. Flipping through the DVDs the best thing ever. The DVD pockets are divided in such a way so that on maximum capacity they look like an elegant encyclopedia WITHOUT piling up & being difficult to flip through. I bought colourful separation tags that I stick to the pages to create different "sections" since I have such a bid collection. Would definely buy another one or two very soon for my next collection.

I bought this because I ran out of room with our old Slappa case. I used it for all my son's DVD's. It is nice looking and seemed sturdy enough. Compare it to the Slappa cases and it is inferior. It is hard to open and shut. The flap around the zipper when you open the case is cumbersome and gets in the way. Sometimes we would be in and out of the case 10 times in one day and it just wasn't worth the annoyance of how difficult it was to open and shut.

Ultimately I ordered a bigger Slappa case because the sturdiness of the outside and how easy it is to get in and out of. The one thing I don't like about the Slappa cases is a positive for the Citygear. The Citygears 320 capacity holds one dvd per pouch and you can see the DVD. The Slappa cases have 2 slots one for the album cover and one behind for the CD. Since I am using the case for DVD's that feature is useless and it takes away from its capacity since I need to see the DVD's. I don't store any in the 2nd slot. So if you don't plan on using this case multiple times during the day and it is mostly for storage than it serves its purpose.

I was very please with the quality and design. It holds far more disks then the other cases I have and inserting them into the sleaves is easy. When you're looking for a selection you have 8 disks showing as you turn a page instead of 2 or 4 like the smaller cases. I would buy this item again if the need comes up. Thanks for the good price and service Amazon.com!

Citygear, also known as Targus has ruined over $6080 worth of my dvds.

After just filling up the last slot of my case, i play one of the older dvds i had put in it and found it froze and ultimately couldn't be played. I look at the disk, and notice a small round curve of blotches of smudge/scratches on the top of the disk. I look at my other disks, and notice to my horror... all my disks have this same round scratchy edge. I try and play a few of them.. and they are all messed up. Most of my disks are burned copies, and even the authentic dvds have the scratches and cannot play.

I know for a fact the top plastic flap is what has ruined my disks, as every time you take a dvd out or in the top flap scratches at the top of the disk. I even tested this with a perfect, non-scratched new dvd-r, and after taking it in and out it had the same markings. I've looked at different reviews from citygear/targus cd holders and found people are having the same problem.

You have no idea how upset i am.. I am NEVER, EVER buying from this company again. All my movies are destroyed, and movies are my life. I feel like killing myself. Do yourself a favor, and please, please never buy this cd/dvd case.

(I have the 320 disk capacity model, which is the same as this one)
