Automatic Movement - watches, swiss quartz

This is my first Tag and i am very pleased. Its a very nice looking watch. Its not to heavy, its just right. I have had the watch for one month now and have had no problems. I went into the beach with it,the pool and the shower and its working great. Its great for an everyday watch. Great price!!!! TAG Heuer Men's CAH1111.BA0850 Formula 1 Collection Chronograph Stainless Steel Watch

I've had this watch for a few weeks now and it appears to be a solidly built watch with a feel of accuracy and attention to details. I really like the the way it looks - bold but understated.

One improvement that I'd make is to make the hands more visible. Under certain conditions, usually interior lighting, they really blend in with the face forcing you to twist your wrist around until the right angle reveals the location of the hands. While you'll do better with a black face in this department, the silver face and black bezel, in my opinion, is still sharper in appearance.

As for authenticity, I compared the watch and its packaging (box, protective stickers) to that of the department store's and I feel confident about its origin. However, while I found all of the stickers to be intact, I noticed a few small hairs stuck on the inside of the band which indicated to me that the watch didn't come straight from Tag untouched. I decided to live with this as had I bought this from a department store, they'd likely have sold me a piece from the case tried on by numerous customers anyway.

As always a great experience buying from Amazon. Definately a great price on this watch. I had just looked at this watch at a large retail store and Amazon's price beat their 10% discounted price by about $425.00. The watch came as presented, new, in the box, with all paperwork. Very nice

purchase experience. My only concern is the fact that the watch was shipped with no signature required, since it falls below Amazon's dollar amount of $700. Not a good policy on a valuable item such as this.

Honestly, I love it and find myself staring at it often. I must admit I was a bit nervous about buying an expensive watch like this online. The savings were tremendous so it seemed worth it. So far I have done very well with my purchases from Amazon and this one turned out very well. The watch arrived faster than expected, it came in a handsome Tag Heuer leather box with the full manual. Though I have only had it a few weeks I can say that it meets all of my expectations and I have had no problems with it.

As usual Amazon has one of the best prices on luxury watches. The watch arrived one day after shipping thanks to Amazon Prime shipping. The watch was in perfect condition with tags and protective film still intact. Included with the watch was a leather pouch which contained the instruction manual and warranty card. It's a shame Amazon is not an authorized dealer of Tag Heuer as they are with Movado and other brands. Since Amazon is not an authorized dealer the watch is not covered by Tag Heuer but a third-party that Amazon contracts out to. With this watch I don't expect to be shipping it back withing the first two years for repairs. The price has actually risen by a couple of dollars since I purchased it. As with all Tag Heuer watches you can see the craftsmanship that goes into one of these time pieces. If you are looking for your first Tag or to add to your collection this is a great addition. You'll definitely be pleased with this purchase.

When I received the watch everything looked perfect. I wore it for 1 day and realised that it was running 2 mins slow.

So I reset it to the correct time. I waited another full day and checked it against the speaking clock and it was running 5 mins slow.

I took it into a Tag dealership and they tested it, without opening it.

They came to the conclusion that the circuit is not Tag, but an American equivalent.

They could replace the circuit, but it would still lose 5-6 secs a day.

I have recently returned the watch for a refund. Disappointed to have paid that money for

supposedly an accurate time piece.

A beautiful watch. Stylish, yet functional. Tag Heuer Formula 1 watches are highly versatile, and can be worn in a business or a leisure setting interchangeably.

The only drawback, if you call it one, is that Tag will not service a watch bought from grey market dealers such as Amazon. The bright side of this is that for a swiss quartz watch, any failures except for a battery dying are very remote.

Amazon as always ships fast and is a great Company to buy from.

Very nice watch. You can't go wrong with TAG Heuer. Smooth stainless links on bracelet and very comfortable on the wrist. This watch is 41mm approx. and not on the larger scale, but not really small. This is a "normal" sized watch I guess you could say. I'm accustomed to larger and some very large watches in the 43mm, 47mm and 50+mm size scale. It did take me a day of so to adjust down from these larger sizes and get accustomed to looking at a smaller watch on my wrist. Again at 41mm this is not a small watch by any means or a womens watch. Like me many out there like large watches and it would seem that watches are getting bigger all the time. Have a look at what 41mm looks like next to your wrist and if you have other watches compare and certainly if you collect many larger watches.

Purchased this watch as a Valentines Day present to myself and thanked my wife for allowing me to purchase it. Watch has no flaws and classy and sporty looking at the same time. Colors on the watch include silver, black, red and green so it blends with all different clothes combos. I wear a suit during the week and the watch looks great with business attire even though the watch has that sports style. I had the band adjusted at Sears for $12.50. To date no issue with time. It is a little difficult to see hands in direct sunlight, but I believe 50% of this is due to my eyesight. It is easy to use Chronograph using the A and B buttons. It is a snap to adjust time and date as well. I was also able to use the 20% off coupon on this purchase. Tag Rocks. - Swiss Quartz - Luxury - Tag Hauer - Watches'

Small Cordless Screwdriver - black and decker, cordless screwdriver

For screwdriver purposes, I prefer a cordless screwdriver to my cordless drill. When using most cordless drills, when you are doing a job, if the battery dies, you must wait while your screwdriver sits in the recharger to charge. Also, for me, the batteries in the rechargeable screwdrivers I have used in the past do not last and the the (built-in) battery becomes un-rechargeable, thus forcing me to pitch the whole screwdriver. The beauty of Versapak tools, however, is that you can take the battery out and put it in the charger and continue working using a fresh new battery. I have used the Versapak screwdriver since the 90's when my husband gave me one for Christmas. Initially, I wrinkled up my nose at it but now am a diehard versapak tool user. I have many versapak tools plus a dustbuster (kept by the kitty's litter box) and a snakelight (fantastic if you can get your hands on one). But I digress! That original Christmas present screwdriver bit the dust a while ago and I am now on my second one in about 15 years. I would have gone through many more of the other rechargeables in the same amount of time. Over time, I have purchased many batteries, but in all fairness, I used the batteries for other tools as well. Incidently, I only use the "gold" batteries.

Disclaimer: Black and Decker discontinued the Versapak series several years ago (I had called them when I wanted another snakelight and they said I could not order any more Versapak tools from them)...but now I see Versapak tools available again, and I don't know if that means they (B&D) are producing them again? (Dear Black and Decker, What is the status of Versapak?)...

Batteries: I have always continued to buy the batteries at Home Depot (tool corral) for $19.99 but today they were $25 each! I just found them here at Amazon in a pak of five where the price per battery was less than $14 each and free delivery... Yes, I recommend this cordless screwdriver! Black & Decker VP810 3.6-Volt Versapak Screwdriver

I work for a school, and have used these versapak screwdrivers for YEARS now and LOVE THEM!! From computer work to door hinges, these screwdrivers are very well made. Most battary powered screw drivers are made to plug in and charge, so you loose the tool while charging. These have remarkable battary life and switching the battary is as easy as it gets... REALLY! I must admit the battary which comes with them is very average, but the GOLD Batteries are the Way To Go, and the only batteries we use at the school. Of course this is not made to drive long screws deep into wood over and over, but has no problem driving a few screws into wood for like hanging pictures, working on doors, ect... for that type of use this is the answer. Another nice feature is the "Auto Lock" which means, if you are not pushing the power button, it automaticly locks to be used as a normal screw driver. This is great for breaking loose the screw and then push the button to back it out. Or use the button to drive it in and give it a last twist. Normally we go for several days on one of the Gold Batteries. Believe me, no maintenance tool bag should be without one!! I'm not sure what problems the other guy had... stuck bit? a couple days dead battary? Sounds like he did not properly charge the battary maybe and doesn't have the finger strenght to get the bit out? Whatever, we have 5 of them and none have failed or had problems after years of use. I have one at home and have given them away as gifts.

I bought this Black & Decker VP810 Screwdriver for casual household use. It's everything I thought it would be and everything I need. I considered buying an extra battery but the one that came with it lasts so long out of the charger that I don't think I'll need a second one. It's comfortable in my hand and the automatic locking feature makes it easy to tighten down screws by feel. I had my previous Black & Decker Screwdriver for nearly 20 years. That's why I wanted another one.

Great item for screws, not a drill, don't be fooled by reviews that knock it for poor drilling performance. It's NOT a drill. The 180 rpm speed keeps you in control without spinning off the screw head. Also has decent torque. I had one for years without the clutch, the current model with clutch doesn't really add much. The battery is the longer lasting gold version, I don't really know if the standard battery is made any more. If this is your first versa pack tool, it's smart to purchase additional batteries so you don't have to stop its use when the battery runs down. The pivot handle helps in tight spots. I can't imagine not having one of these around.

I have had a Black and Decker Versa Pack Screwdriver for about 8 years now. It has performed with no problems at all. This one is an addition to the original. I expect it to perform as well as the older unit. I tried it out for a few things already and feel the new one has more power. The batteries are also an upgrade from the silver series which came with the original driver. Go with the Gold batteries.

I bought the BD Versapack Drill 10 years ago and it has held up well. The batteries evetually have died. Instead of buying replacements I bought this Versapack screw driver which came with a battery and an extra. Batterries brought the 10 year drill back to life and the screwdriver has already been used many times in 2 weeks. Both are must haves for any serious DIY homeowner. - Cordless Screwdriver - Cordless - Small Cordless Screwdriver - Black And Decker'

Camera Batteries - photography, camera accessories

During a recent family trip, I left the charger for my Canon G10 battery plugged into the electrical outlet in my home. Yes, I had wanted to ensure that the spare battery had a good charge before we left. The obvious solution was to get a spare charger that stays in my suitcase. This fit the bill. Canon CB-2LZ Battery Charger for the Canon NB-7L Lithium Ion Battery Pack

Very well designed product, the plug-in folds into the charger itself so that no cord is needed. The entire charger is smaller than a cell-phone but slightly thicker. As far as charging goes it works great. It has a charge and full light to let you know when it's charging and done charging.

I bought this charger to replace the one that originally came with my Canon Powershot SX30is, it is the exact same Canon brand charger. Works great, charges in about 2 hrs from completely dead. Has the lights that let you know when its charging and when its full. Arrived promptly and in perfect new condition. Couldnt have asked for more. :)

I have had this Canon battery charger for my Canon G camera series the past four years. My bag that contained it was stolen while traveling. I ordered another of the same charger when returning home. It was shipped instantly & works great. It is very reliable & being able to plug it into wall is convenient. - Camera Accessories - Camera Batteries - Battery - Photography'

Usb Cable Extension - usb extension, usb cable

I got this 15 foot USB cable to allow me to position a Netgear WG111 wireless adapter further away from a non-wired computer to improve the signal strength to a router in another part of the house. Combined with Netgear's 6 foot USB cable (supplied with the adapter), the total length is 21 feet. This exceeds the recommended maximum USB cable length, but it works fine for this adapter. For me, it was the least expensive solution for improving wireless connectivity. 15 Foot USB 2.0 Extension Cable

This USB extension cable worked fine for about a week but then started dropping the connection a few times a day. It was being used as an extender for a wireless USB dongle so when the connection dropped so did my internet connection. It became very annoying when streaming video so I stopped using it. Since it was so cheap sending it back and requesting a new one was more hassle than it was worth. I suppose you get what you pay for.

The PS3 seems to have problems with wireless controllers - they freeze up at times. These cables extend the PS3 USB cables to a length where they can be used comfortably, and eliminate those problems completely. While I expect Sony to solve the problems eventually, these make an excellent temporary solution, and will be usable elsewhere later.

I got this extention cable because I am deployed and we have wifi capability. Since my rack is on the bottom, I need some cable that is long enough to connect to the wifi reciever and into my computer. Lenght was not an issue, However functionality of this particular USB is FLAWED that not even my computer was able to recognize it. Assuming that the computer's port has malfunctioned, I connected another USB cable to see if that is the issue. Wrong. This cable is no good. I would not suggest buying it. I took my K bar and ripped it into pieces. One angry Marine.

This cable works fine. I noted that some reviewers have had problems stringing these together. That is probably because the maximum length of a USB link, per the specification, is 5 meters, which is 16 feet 5 inches. So anything longer may not work.

I had a problem, when i played guitar hero the dongle receivers for the guitars didn't work as they should, the signal went on and off every now and then. I have my PS3 very far away from the tv and there are some walls blocking the signal, so the only option left for me was to put the receivers closer to our play area, i saw this cables and I was a little worried about the length, maybe it was too long and the signal wouldn't reach, but the cables worked like a charm.

The dongle receivers are little plastic cases that let you connect the guitar hero drums or guitar wirelessly and these do not have an energy source, and the cable still manages to send and receive the signals.

You won't regret your purchase.

I bought this to use to extend my Xbox Kinect. Don't buy this if your buying it for Kinect, or Playstation Move. It's not powerful enough, and it drops the connection all the time. I also used it for a wired mouse from across the room, just to test it on my projector. It worked fine, but I could see some obvious skips in the mouse every so often, so the connectivity probably isn't the best. For simple USB accessories this would probably be fine, but for anything complex I'd advise against it.

I would not recommend this if you need to charge a Zune or iPod from afar, the power to device seems to go on and off an totally off. Good for connecting to usb devices that have an external power supply. - Cables - Usb Cable Extension - Usb Extension - Usb Cable'

Speaker Stand - satellite speaker stands, home theater

The reason I have given 5 stars is due to the price, the height, and excellent functional design. As you know, speaker stands are ridiculously overpriced. These are reasonable.

Speaker wire can be completely hidden. The wire feeds through the stand and comes out the top for connection to your speakers. There is a cool little "U" shape on the front foot where the speaker wire comes out on the bottom. It keeps the speaker wire directed where you want it to be directed on the base. It's a very well thought out design feature that I've not seen on other stands. With tile floors, it makes a big difference for me. It keeps the speaker wire directed under the sofa where I want it so it can't be seen.

Now on to stability-

If you have hard flooring, you will be able to extend the stands all the way up if you screw the speakers to the bottom plate. The base is surprisingly stable and it has rubbery stuff on the bottom to keep it from sliding. If the stands will be on carpet, you may not be able to fully extend them unless you have small speakers. My son's system has small speakers. They are back mounted to the stand with a screw and nut that fit inside a metal bracket that can be removed for screw mount. His speakers are on berber carpet. With his small lightweight speakers he is able to fully extend these with no wobble. Atlantic Satellite SPSCUR47 2 Speaker Stands (Titanium)

First of all, a decent pair of speaker stands usually cost far more than these. Shopping around I couldn't find anything comparable to these for less than $50 a pair, and most ran closer to $75 a pair. Now the downside, I ordered two pairs of these stands for my front and rear satellite speakers. On one of the stands the indentation on the base for the logo sticker was stamped crooked and two of the clips that hold the bracket down had paint flaking off. The stamping error isn't a big deal and you can't notice unless you look at it close, and the flaking paint on the clips was quickly remedied with some Rustoleum paint. These are small problems, nothing that I mind too much, and certainly not worth detering you from buying these stands. Also, my speakers (Polk Audio RM6750) aren't perfectly flat on all sides and don't mount properly to the stands. The bracket had to be pulled back, and even then the speakers don't sit perfectly flat on the base. But they feel secure enough and I'm not worried about them falling off or anything. Speakers that are more rectangular in shape would probably mount perfectly on these stands though. So just don't expect the world with these stands, if you want something cheap that will hold your small speakers, these can't be beat.

First, the box comes with two stands. So ordering "1" means you get a pair.

Second, mounting speakers: They have a small platform on top of the vertical riser, that has four holes in it that you can run screws into the bottoms of your speakers, if you want. The platform is about 2"X3". Then, there's a bracket of sorts that sticks out the back and runs up the back of your speaker, through which you can slot a bolt(included with washers) and that bolt would mount into the threaded thing on the back of your speakers, if you have one. They give you two thread sizes. The bracket runs about 5" up the back, and is slotted the whole length, so no matter where your hole is, it should work. If they don't include YOUR size bolt, just run to the hardware.

Now my logitech 5500's did not have the bolt hole on the back, so I just used the double stick foam they included, and then zip tied the speaker base to the stand's platform and voila. Very nice.

If they could have pulled out a better mounting scheme for MY particular speakers, I'd have given them a 5!!!

Enjoy.

Speakers Used: Klipsch Promedia Ultra 5.1

Easy to setup...sorta. attaching my speakers on the stands was a bit tricky, but I just tightened the screws a bit more and I feel overall, the stands are very sturdy, provided I don't fully extend them (which I won't, as they are nice and tall fully extended). When you extend them fully, there is a bit of wobble.

The stands Klipsh recommends for these speakers are about $80-90 per pair - heaven forbid you get 2 pair! For the price, these stands are simply wonderful...I had to remind myself they were so inexpensive.

Notice I don't say "cheap" as I don't want to have the word mean the stands are cheap in build as well as price. The build is really great for the price. If you look at the stand bottom, you may find some signs of a poor mold - or whatever they use to make the bottoms - but that's on the underside of the stand - I felt the bottoms themselves were very well designed and I did a "nudge test" to see if the stands would topple. I felt that they withstood the test well. If you cross-check them, yes they will fall, but if they are in a low-traffic area, you're good to go.

If you need stands, get these and save some dough. Please don't drill holes in your speakers as the instructions suggest...speaker abuse, in my opinion. - Home Theater - Satellite Speaker Stands - Floor Stand - Speaker Stand'

Baby Boy - diapering, disposable diapers

We have a very (very) handicapped son and were barely able to squeeze him into size 6. We hesitated to move up to "depends" because of the cost. The new size 7 is a lifesaver for us!

I saw the other reviews, but we've had no problems with leaks or with the tabs.

From some of the reviews, sounds like these might not be a great fit for large toddlers, but for a 55 pound six-year-old, they're perfect!

Thank you, Pampers!

Great size diapers for my kid, nowadays they grow bigger than our past generations, so this N°7 are ideal for this matter.

For those that say it's the same size as 6, I have to tell you I do notice the diference between 6 and 7.

Thank goodness Pampers makes Cruisers in Size 7 and thank you Amazon for being smart enough to carry the elusive size! Our 16 month toddler has always been big for his age and as his size 6 diapers were starting to get snug, I thought I'd be forced to go switch to pull ups. I'm so glad I found them on Amazon because no one else seems to carry them. Pampers Cruisers are extremely thin with a non-irritating liner and regardless of your little one's size, they fit like a glove. Perfect for a little one on the go.

Pampers Cruisers are the best diapers on the market!

My son is not 41 pounds yet, but he does not fit in size 6 diapers anymore. I guess it's because he is chunkier than he should be for his height. I am so glad that Pampers invented size 7 just as my son started needing them. Now I don't have to buy medical diapers for him. My son is severely disabled, and I need to buy diapers for him until he is 3 years old. Then the insurance will cover them. Thanks, Pampers, for making size 7. I only wish I could get them in any store!

I think the Pampers work great. My son hasn't had a leaky Pamper yet, and believe me, my son has a tendency to have leaky diapers from time to time.

We used and enjoyed Dry Max technology on sizes 1, 1-2 and 2-3. When we switched to #4 the diapers leaked all the time; at least twice per night the baby would be completely wet. The diaper seemed to stay unused. We switched back to leftover 2-3 size with no leaking and hefty load in the morning. It seems that Pampers did not faithfully implemented DryMax on size 4 despite the claim. I will not recommend.

Our son just turned three and is not yet potty-trained. He's also off the charts for height so when Pampers came out with this product, it was fantastic for him! Hopefully, we won't need diapers for much longer.

The size 7 Pampers is not that much bigger than the size 6, just less diapers in the package. Half the time my son wakes in the morning with one of the tabs torn and the diaper hanging.

I won't buy these again. - Disposable Diapers - Diapering - Baby - Pampers'

Tape Dispenser - adhesive tape, tape

As this nifty little product advertises on its box, it is frustration free. Having moved six times in ten years (as well as helping others!) I am all too familiar with brand name packing tape that turns into a nightmare. I am on my second roll, and I have not once had a problem finding the "start" of the tape, "split" pieces of tape, or any mangling of the tape of any kind. It also holds on the boxes well, and is easy to cut off with the perforated "cutter" mechanism provided on the side of the roll. Really great product - wish I had been using it all along. Henkel 7307 Duck 1.88-Inch-by-22.2-Yard EZ Start Carton Sealing Tape with Dispenser, Clear

I ran out of packaging tape and being a trader and seller online, I need it in the house. After reading other reviews (and prev. good experience with Duck brand) I decided on this.

It unrolls easier than the Scotch brand i was using. It's static-y though, so paper 'jumps' up to it, which can be bad if you need to NOT tape a specific area (eg barcodes for the USPS delivery confirmation). But between the price and my current experience, I'm very happy! - Adhesive Tape - Adhesives - Tape - Packaging Tape'
