Air Nailers

I'm not afraid to spend money on a good tool if it helps me do a better job, saves me time, and saves be from a sore arm at the end of the week from pounding thousands of nails. This nail gun is easily one of the more expensive in my garage. While finishing, framing, coil-siding, & coil-roofing nailers seemed to be a given I hesitated on buying a cap nailer thinking I wouldn't mind pounding a few caps in by hand. I found a good deal on a used 1st generation Hitachi Plasti-Cap NV50AP nailer and never regretted it!!! I have to say the balance of the 1st & 2d generation tools are awkward. You have to fight the cap magazine to keep the tool level on your surface. It looks like the cap magazine was added to the side of an existing tool design which throws the balance off. The tool wants to roll over on its side while it's in your hand. I recently purchased one of the 3rd generation NV50AP3 nailers and this is definitely the tool to buy. It weighs significantly less and the nail and cap magazines are better designed to minimize the overall profile of the gun while maintaining almost perfect balance. I have put several thousand cap nails through both of these guns and my comment on jams and mis-feeds is simple... take care not to damage or bend your nails and cap rolls and you shouldn't have any problems. I have only used the Hitachi brand caps/nails and can't comment on the generic brands out there. If you have a coil of nails that looks like someone stepped on it or tossed in the tool trailer under a pile of who knows what you're going to have problems. Anyone with coil nails should know this but I've seen some people who just don't understand why they have so many mis-feeds and blame the gun. Even if you only think you will use this tool one time BUY IT and sell it off when you're finished. You'll save lots of time, have a much easier time nailing down that felt or house wrap in the wind (been there) and your arm won't hate you. Hitachi NV50AP3 1-1/4-Inch to 2-Inch Cap Nailer

I can't imagine what kind of problems the other gentleman had but my experience with this nailer is great. I have done a lot of nailing with this machine and it does a great job. You can't compare with hand nailing because you can't do the same kind of job by hand much less as fast. I have another contractor associate that has used mine with great success. Either I just got an especially good unit or maybe the other gentleman got a bad one. Also there are a lot of tools that require a little bit of skill to get the proper use out of them.

Bought this gun and four boxes of nails/caps for my roofing crew, ended up being the biggest piece of junk I have ever had the privilege to use. I adjusted psi. the way I was holding the gun, single fire/multi fire, and various other things but the gun would constantly blow through caps or feed out anywhere from 2 to a dozen caps at a time, very rarely did it work. I even traded it in for an identical one and it did the same thing. Ended up waiting for the shipment of Bostitch cap nailers to come in and switched over. For half the price and after about 5000 caps only a handful of jams, the Bostitch is by far the better gun for your money. The downfall for the Hitachi is the roll cap feed design, Bostitch got it right with its tube cap feed design.

Purchased this item as a gift for my son. Never operated properly. Misfires nails thru cap and caps won't feed properly. After the "Hitachi Brand" nails and caps didn't work, he even bought a box of off brand to try, but had the same experience. Brand new gun has never fired a nail in a roof. The hours he wasted trying this product, he could of hand nailed the whole job.

After that Amazon wouldn't let me return it because I bought it as a gift and didn't give it to my son for over a month. Amazon said I was past the return period. Thanks Amazon-A quality company. We won't be purchasing another item from Amazon. Never had a problem returning an item that did't work at any other company. They were always glad to assist me. Thanks again Amazon.'

Thermal Underwear - thermal underwear, neck warmers

This is lightweight, warm, breathable--perfect for running outdoors on a cold winter day. You can easily pull this over your mouth or even your nose depending on the wind, temperature, etc. I live in the Northeast, and when it's really cold (below 15 degrees) I pull this over my mouth and breath through my mouth instead of my nose so I have warmer air coming in. It works great, and I don't feel the cold as much.

For everyday use it is a good way to keep out drafts on a cold winter day. The fabric is very soft to the touch and will not irritate your skin. It really is plush fleece.

I have used lots of neckwarmers and really like this one.

Update January 5, 2011: In single digit weather, instead of putting on the neckwarmer first, and then putting on my running jacket, I now put the jacket on first and the neckwarmer over the collar of the jacket. This more effectively seals in my body heat and stops drafts. Seirus Innovation Polar Plush Neck-Up,Black,Adult

There's nothing more uncomfortable than riding motorcycles on a cold day and having your neck exposed. Freezing chin and neck are just darned irritating.

I've tried those neoprene face shields, and although they keep the cold out, the feeling of snot and saliva mixing in them after awhile is just a little yukky. The plush neck-up allows me to cover just my neck, a portion of my chin, or pull it up to cover my nose and everything below.

The soft plush feels good, and dries very quickly. It packs small enough to stuff in a quart ziplock bag, so these just get stuffed in a side pocket on my tank bag and forgotten until they're needed. A perfect solution to a chilling question!

Bought these for the kids and they love them. Perfect for keeping snow off our little sledders necks. warm, perfect size to pull over the nose and mouth on really cold days. Works for our kids and adults, so the size is not an issue at all.

A nice cheap gaiter that is decent quality. It will keep your neck warm... I got mine for riding my motorcycle on chilly days, and it serves the purpose. It's maybe a bit shorter than I would like... would prefer a bit more coverage. But it's adequate and a good deal for the sub- $5.00 price.

Bought these for a Colorado trip and they came fast and worked well! Just fine thickness for 0 degrees. If colder than that there are other full face coverings. These worked fine for the temps we had on our trip and at this price I bought a few! - Neck Warmers - Thermal Underwear'

Easy Spirit Walking Shoes - flat, easy spirit walking shoes

This is the 3rd pair of Easy Spirit Walkers I've owned...and have worn out the first two! The new ones carried me happily all over Boston on a recent vacation and not a single complaint! These are the most attractive walking shoes I've seen or worn: not clunky or funky looking like everyone's favorite sport shoes! They are durable, provide good arch and overall foot support. They also hold up well in the rain!!! I will continue to wear these shoes until they fall right off my feet! You won't regret this purchase, so take a chance! Easy Spirit Women's Motion Sport Lace-Up,Wheatfield Leather,8.5 M

Easy Spirit's Motion Sport Lace Up shoes:

1. Provide all day comfortable (sometimes you forget you have them on).

2. Come in great colors.

3. May resemble 'old lady' shoes (not meaning to be offensive). Yet they match just about anything you wear (casual or business).

4. Last a very, very long time. I am still wearing several pairs I bought five-six years ago and haven't had a problem yet.

5. Come in a large variety of sizes.

What a pleasure to walk all day in a stylish flat that also offers cushioning and good support and not have to wear clunky running shoes with skirts. I broke several bones in my right foot four years ago and can't wear heels. I also have narrow feet. Well, this is the first shoe I've been able to wear all day and still feel stylish without breaking the bank. I bought them in every color, including metallic silver and gold! A shoe for all seasons:)

I have a difficult time finding shoes that will work for me. Most stores do not carry fashionable women's shoes in wide widths. I am enjoying this pair of Easy Spirit Shoes in the color red. I would purchase these again without hesitation.

After reading multiple reviews that the wide is really not wide enough, I figured I would order a wide. I generally do not have a problem with regular shoes, although some feel slightly too narrow. I measured my foot which seemed to be between an M and a C/D, so I went with the wide since apparently it was not wide enough for most people. Unfortunately, the shoe is wayy to wide for me. I am generally between an 8 and an 8.5 and I went with the 8, which fits fine length wise.

I got the wheatfield leather. I am a student and I walk at least a mile a day and live a generally active life, and I needed real shoes for my weak feet and ankles! I was hoping to wear them day-today and mostly at my restaurant, which has no dress code. I have been wearing slip on vans with 0 arch support. At the end of each 7-8 hour shift, my feet and legs ache and after I sit for a while after a shift, I end up hobbling around until my feet readjust to walking. These shoes seem like they'll help with much better support. I was hoping they would look even better than they do, but they look more like old lady shoes than I anticipated (I am 22, so perhaps I define old lady differently!). The top of the shoe ends pretty far down my foot, which means if I wear skinny jeans my socks will definitely show. I suppose this means I should start wearing matching socks.

But I still think its worth it to return them for an M.

I ordered this shoe directly from the Easy Spirit site. I ordered a medium width, and that is the marking the shoe is showing, but it is much too narrow for my foot, making it very uncomfortable. I made the mistake of not returning them, thinking that I could wear them and stretch them out: That didn't work. Guess I'll spend the money to take them to a shoe-shop to have them professionally stretched.

Be aware that this shoe--in a WIDE- is not really WIDE ENOUGH to be called a Wide. The shoe runs narrow. However,it does come in an Extra Wide. Although the shoe has little to no arch support,it is, nevertheless a "dressy" alternative to gym shoes if you have problem feet.

I have worn Easy Sirit shoes and they had a perfect fit. This time, the same size, 6M did not fit, they were too tight.

When I ordered my shoes, I looked inside my old shoes to find the size, I ordered the same size and was really dissapointed when they arrived.

They looked beautiful, just what I was looking for, but not a good fit. - Comfortable Shoes - Flat - Easy Spirit Walking Shoes - Oxford'

Reusable Swim Diaper - imse vimse, reusable swim diaper

I love this diaper. I have tried the disposables and they are ok, you have to rip them to get them off in the event of an accident and then use a new one afterwards. This is great because you can rinse it off, wash it with a little soap in the bathroom in event of an accident and then put it right back on and head back in the water. It fits great and I love that it is adjustable so we can wear it longer. That is always a plus when I buy products - I ask myself "how much use will I be able to get out of this before she outgrows it or it wears out". A very convenient swim diaper and cute too! I had one of the wee waves pull on swim diapers prior to this and thank goodness my daughter didn't have any accidents in it because it would have been a HUGE mess to get off of her and clean up without the snaps for easy removal. This diaper is also WAY thinner and less bulky than the wee waves one or others I have looked at. And it has that elastic around the legs that will keep in solids so it works just as well if not better. The other swim diaper I had for her left imprints around her legs because it was so tight to keep everything in, but this one doesn't leave any marks and seems much more comfortable. Mother-Ease Swim Diaper (Large, Summer Storm)

I was a bit uneasy about trying these, but was tired of the price of disposable swim diapers. The first time wearing it in the pool my one year old decided to truly test their ability to hold and they did not leak. I highly recommend them.

This is the second Mother-ease swim diaper we have bought. We had to get a larger size as our son has outgrown the first one. The first swim diaper was great! Our son took 3 swim classes and we never had an accident. With that said, these diapers are not meant to catch pee, and so we did still get peed on a couple of times, but we never had a pooh problem. And what was great is that the swim diaper grew with our son. The snaps adjust as your child gets bigger. The snaps are also very easy to snap off when you are done with the pool. We were also happy with the shipping as we ordered this on a Monday (before Memorial Day) and received it on Thursday (also before Memorial Day). We will try this out at our pool Memorial Day weekend! If there are problems we'll be happy to update, but for now we are very satisfied customers!

This is a great adjustable swim diaper. The material is lightweight, & silky feeling; not stiff. The snaps allow you to adjust the size on the diaper as well. (2 snaps each side of the top along the waistband, 3 snaps on each side along the bottom), so you can truly customize the fit. Overall, great purchase. - Reusable Swim Diaper - Cloth Diapers - Pool Diaper - Imse Vimse'

Ipod Touch 4g Case - bundle, ipod accessories

I purchased this bundle package and an item was missing from the package. (USB Plug Extension) Also, the AC car adapter did not work with my ipod as advertised. The quality of the products are very cheap and to my opinion not even worth the cheap price that the bundle sales for. Ok. I said no big deal you get what you pay for and I was willing to take the lost. However, after leaving feed back that an item was defective and one was missing, the saler (DigitalsOnDemand) tried to resolve the matter by offering a refund and to ship the product that was missing providing that I remove the negative feed back. Well guess what? I removed the feed back and they didnt live up to their end of the bargan. Its been weeks and still no reshipment of the item promised and no refund.

Dont waste your time with this company they will only let you down in the end!

DigitalsOnDemand 15-Item Accessory Bundle for New Apple iPod Touch iTouch 4G 4th Gen Generation 8GB 32GB 64GB DigitalsOnDemand 15-Item Accessory Bundle for New Apple iPod Touch iTouch 4G 4th Gen Generation 8GB 32GB 64GB

it's all good stuff for the price. different cases (clear, black, etc) some apple cables (with a typo on the power plug -- might be cast-offs from product assurance that still meet usable specs) -- sure beats paying 30 - 40 dollars for just that charger at target / best buy / the mac store! and the cases that are 20 - 40 at those same stores, you get those with this too. i didn't need the aux cable or the splitter or the headphones, but everything else is great. i didn't have any problems with my retractable or the power charger or car charger like one of the other reviews had. i was really glad to find this whole bundle for that cost too, since i had just bought a 15 dollar car charger at the office supply store a week before (unopened, so returned).

One of the charging cables didn't work. The retractable cable didn't retract. The protective screen cleaner left lint on the glass screen. On the other hand, if you're a n00b who doesn't know what to really get for an iTouch *and* you can't find an accessory assortment for a cheaper price, start here. The assortment has the basics, and even comes with four very different slips / cases for your iTouch, so you can find out which style's the best for you. I think what I liked best about this product is that I didn't have to waste all that (bleeping) time clicking and shopping and browsing for four or five different iTouch accessories. I'd rather spend time on my iTouch, than shop for accessories for it.

I read the reviews of this product after I ordered it. If I had read it first, I would have never ordered anything from these people. I was hoping that it was just a coincidence that these people had defective items and was hoping that I would actually get something that was brand new and worked. NOTHING WORKED THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO WORK just like the people who wrote negative reviews. I have since filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and I am demanding a refund and new equipment that works and it brand new like advertised. That was a lie that we what received was new. The better business bureau says that I definitely have a claim and i don't care if I have to pay a ton of money, so be it. These people need to be shut down. There are pathetic.DigitalsOnDemand 15-Item Accessory Bundle for New Apple iPod Touch iTouch 4G 4th Gen Generation 8GB 32GB 64GB

i have this 15 items for a month, and everything are still in good condition. i love the crystal case its not hard, but its not soft, its like a hard rubber so its unbreakable, i like the lcd protector its easy to use and it is reusable, coz i tried to remove and wash it still the same and sticky, so if it has bubbles or some dirt just wash it and air dry. all electronic gadgets is working especially the chargers. leather case is of course synthetic, and decent enough. I RECOMMEND THIS TO YOU !!! but i purchased this for only $29.99 only, now they have increase a lot... :(

I bought this item for myself mainly for the car/wall charger. I got the item yesterday and was instantly happy with the purchase. The only thing in the bundle im worried about is the flip case. Reason is it has magnets that hold the flip part down and im afriad if an ipod is in the case for to long it might erase the hard drive.

Buy this bundle!

Having bought a similar kit for the previous generation iPod, I thought I knew what to expect. I am really impressed with this kit though. The headphones actually have good bass response, not to mention have the mic too, meaning I actually have a decent pair of headphones in case something happens to the originals that came with the ipod.

The "pleather" case fits snug, and the clip allows for easy access (which is nice for those spur of the moment quick photos you might want to take). The cases are great compared to some of the more expensive brands available at large department stores.

Must say, this was well worth the money to me. Good buy.

This is pure rubbish. The screen protector would not go on without bubbles and gaps (this is my 4th. iPod Touch by the way so experienced with this), the flip top jacket is made of plastic and worthless and the rest of the little plastic backings are junk. Item was missing the double jack connection but I have them from prior items. All in all, this is worthless and Amazon should take it off their site. I am sending it back and really don't care if I get a credit or a refund, I just think they should see how cheap and worthless this item is. I have since ordered a nice leather carrier for my new iPod 4 and had to go buy the screen protectors from a local shop.

This is a very nice kit for the price, I love the clear case as it shows the shiny back of the Ipod Touch without the Ipod Getting all scratched up. Some of the componets fee a bit cheap but for the price it's worth it. The clear case I can't stop raving about it as I love it and it is not cheaply made. The audio cables are gold plated and was very surprised to see that. Silicon Cases are nice however they do smell of Chinese rubber and had to be left out of the package for a week before the smell was gone. The only thing I have to complain about is the headphone fish because it is so small that you can't roll things up and I don't know why you would anyway. But for sure this is a MUST have for a new Ipod. - Ipod Accessories - Bundle - Screen Protector - Case'

Stationary Bike - compact, exercise

I bought this thing because I wanted something easy to put together, cheap, and where I can use it while watching TV. This has been perfect for that! It's been 2 months, and I've had many days where I'll take this little thing out, turn on the TV, and just go. When I'm done 30 minutes later, I'll put it away in my closet easily. I've even added some 5 lbs. dumbbells for assistance.

I will totally acknowledge that...

...if you're looking for a vigorous workout, this won't do it.

...if you're looking for all-inclusive sports equipment, this isn't it.

...if you're looking for something that'll count your calories or time for you, this won't do it. (It comes with a timer, but it's nothing special.)

...if you're looking for something to replace your daily workout, this isn't it.

However, if you're looking for a cheap option that will complement your regular exercise routine while sitting, this is a great option. Stamina 15-0120 InStride Cycle XL

You can use this thing for about 30 minutes before it gets too hot and starts to squeak horribly. You can tell it's from overheating because the pedal arms get too hot to touch! We have two of them bought from amazon and we took them apart to see if we could lubricate the mechanism (not easy to do) but with wd40 and lithium grease it still squeaks like you're strangling a goose. The manufacturer has a laughable return policy requiring original packaging, packing slips, paid shipping and mandatory insurance which makes it not worth it to try to return and therefore not worth buying if you are worried about the noise. OTHER than all that, it works fine.

One day I decided to stop sitting slovenly at my desk getting fatter by the day and actually do something about my health. After two months of pretending I might go to the gym, then not, I ordered this little cycle.

First off, let me say that I use it on a very low-pile carpeted floor and, as sent from the factory, it perpetually slipped. I fixed this with some superglue to the footcaps and haven't had that issue since.

Second, like others, I found that after 5 or 10 minutes of use it would overheat and squeel loudly. A trip to my local hobby store netted a bottle of liquid graphite (the same stuff used to lube the wheels on pinebox cars), and again the issue was resolved.

So, after conquering the (I can only assume deliberate?) design challenges by the manufacturer, I've been using this little guy for several months with great results. Of course it's a terrible substitute for a real workout, and yes I will probably go to hell for implying otherwise, but for people like me who will only really choose between "do little" or "do nothing", this is a great little something to do.

As I suffer from a neurological disease that affects my motor function, I am not able to do much in the way of exercise. For this reason, I ordered this product. I find it quite useful. Although I know that I am not burning nearly as many calories per unit of time as I would on our elliptical machine, I am moving! I have not experienced much noise with my unit as some others have complained and am easily able to have a conversation or watch T.V. while I am cycling. I have noted that this product is easiest to use at a slight angle or semi-reclining position i.e. it is not easy to do while sitting upright at a computer, but easier while lounging back in an easy chair or on a couch. Overall, I am glad that I purchased this product. I have read that Mayo Clinic studies have shown that this type of mild exercise done frequently is even more effective than strenuous exercise done in small amounts.

Low impact, but will make the burn if you work it. I use it during the summer time when I can't get outside due to the heat. You can sit on the edge of a bed or chair and peddle away in an air conditioned room. Doesn't take up a lot of room to use. It takes a moment to get use to the foot and peddle action, you are not pressing down like on a bike but forward. Great for elderly or someone who is just starting out their routines. You do not need to stand up to use the product. Therefore, not alot of pressure on your knees. Very sturdy, even if you are over 300 lbs, since you are not standing on the machine it will work for you. Can be used under a desk at work, make a little noise. Works on the legs and moves the blood, great for the numb butt. It does not take up much room for storage, about 2'x 2'space. Easy to put together. Not what I recommend for traveling, it is alittle heavy. But a wonderful work out machine to use while listening to your Ipod !!

Stamina 15-0120 InStride Cycle XL I am a senior with compromised leg muscles due to old polio. I hoped this device would provide a simple way to limber up my legs in the morning. However, I discovered that it has a pedal radius of 4". Normal exercise machines and adult bicycles have pedal radii around 7-8". Using this machine is like pedaling a kiddie cycle. It gives me some limbering, but not enough range of motion to really do any good.

I bought this product for my 90 yr old mom who enjoys walking, but often is unable to due to the weather or tiredness. Looking at the product online, I really was not expecting much - just a simple machine for my mom to use occasionally when she is watching TV or otherwise unable to walk.

That is exactly what I got. Simple to assemble, simple to use. Anyone would really be hard-pressed to get fit and buff from this machine. Basically it just keeps my mom a little limber in arms and legs and occupy her interest for a few minutes each day.

I can see a usefulness in the middle of an office day where you can keep one under your desk and do a modicum of leg exercises to mildly keep your legs toned. That's it.

You don't get much and do not expect much. But for what it can do, it's not bad. - Compact - Exercise - Exercise Bike - Affordable'

Digital Camera Battery - camera battery, camera batteries

I got one of these batteries with my camera. I made the mistake and thought it was rechargible. This is not a rechargible battery, it does have a long battery life, I brought it on 4 trips with me before it died. The problem with this battery is that it does not leave you with a lot of warning that it is going to die. The battery light flashes and the camera cuts off. Best to always pack a spare as you have no way of checking how much battery is left. Do not leave the battery in the camera when and if you use the docking station as I have heard it will drain the battery. Kodak MAX CRV3 Lithium Battery

I purchased the rechargeable set and the battery never held a charge for more that a few pictures. This battery has held up for several months without the awful delay that the rechargeable has. This is by far the best battery for the Koday Easyshare camera.

I had this battery for over a year and thought it was rechargable. It wasn't and I used it in my docking station anyways, and it just now died. It has lasted over a year. and i paid alot more for another brand that I doubt will last as long. I will buy this again.

My mom loves these batteries. I've tried to get her to use rechargables, and she's also tried a variety of alkaline batteries. However, she insists these are vastly more convenient than rechargeables and last so much longer than alkalines that she only needs to pack one spare, on long trips.

(...)

This battery came with my Easy Share 4900 when I bought it in August of 2002. I use my camera a lot and it is now April 2003 and it just died. However, I didn't have much notice when it did.I've had other digital cameras and used the rechargable niimh or alkalines and they usually lasted 1 month. These lasted 9 months!I don't understand the other reviews where people said they didn't last long.

This Kodak CRV3 Lithium Battery pack simply consists of two Lithium AA batteries packaged together into one unit. This makes it convenient to travel with. The pack has a 3200 mAh capacity (from Kodak's data sheet on their website). It will last quite a while, then you throw it away and buy another one. You can also use regular AA's, or individual Lithium AA's...depending on the price, they may be a better deal.

But the best deal is to pick up a NiMH RECHARGEABLE battery pack from Kodak. It is the same shape and size as this CRV3 disposable one, but you can recharge it up to 1000 times. The rechargeable has a 2100 mAh capacity, meaning it will die in about 2/3 of the time the CRV3 will run, but it is (essentially) free to recharge and reuse again and again. You want model number KAA2HR.

That's all there is to it. Hope this review helps, as I know people have been asking for the specific capacities of the batteries (which can be found on the technical data sheets on Kodak's site). In the end, you will not be disappointed with the CRV3 as a power source, but just be sure to consider the alternatives if you are looking to save some money.

There is a cheaper alternative battery for the CRV3. W-Mart sells it. You see, the CRV3 actually contains two AA Lithium batteries packaged together. You will not see that unless you open one up. W-Mart sells it for $9.83. For the same price you can get 4 AA Energizer Lithiums. You then use two at a time. That means 1/2 the price of one CRV3. I was able to shoot 191 pictures, some using flash & LCD screen on with my Kodak Z812is, but this approach cuts your cost in half.

This battery is NOT rechargable!! So what?It replaces two AA batteries. Easier to load, less fumbling.I use it in my Olympus D40 and they last a lot longer than any two regular batteries I have tried. I will continue to use them.I don't think that rechargables are worth the trouble. - Battery - Camera Battery - Camera Batteries - Kodak'
