Not sure what the other guy's problem was with this repeater...It works great! I originally wanted to get the HotLink Pro system based on the high number of reviews that it received, but I ended up getting this one as a Christmas gift. I tested it and it worked really well with no lag and good range, so I then proceeded to take the plunge and install it in my home theater setup. I was very concerned that there might be interference, as I have a 58" plasma TV on the wall...This was not a factor at all. I could not get this unit to fail by placing the IR sensor anywhere around my TV. It worked even slightly out of sight behind it...That said, the unit is installed just below the TV and center channel speaker. I have the system connected to the TivoHD, the Xbox 360, and my Onkyo amp and it has not skipped a beat. I would highly recommend this to anyone needing a good IR repeater, and is not necessarily concerned with hooking it up with no line of sight. Small obstructions do not affect my signal, but it does get over 30ft of range if the IR receiver is in sight. I was able to use my Harmony remote from outside on the patio with all of my devices neatly tucked away in my office. All this for half the cost of the HotLink Pro - Very happy indeed! Very easy to install and quite flexible. Receiver is small and mounts easily on the front of TV, and the 4 individual LED repeaters are tiny and mount on anything with 2-sided tape. Just make sure the repeaters are in front of the "eye" of the DVD or amplifier. System now works better than when I kept the cabinet door open with the components facing me, and I can keep the door shut and arrange the components in any way I want. Now, if I can see the TV, the remote will work. Nice additional benefit: when the receiver sees the signal, it blinks blue so you can tell it got the message - particularly nice since the DVR response is so slow.

Installation's pretty simple and cords are all pretty long to make it easy to get everything to reach where it needs to reach.



I had troubles with performance right away, which wasn't very good at all. Thought about sending it back, but I contacted the company ... and after describing the problem and the device I was controlling (a digital, HD cable box from Motorola), they immediately sent me a newer, dual receiver.



Now everything works flawlessly. The problem I was having was apparently specific to fitting the HD system I have.



Bottom line: You might want to contact the company to see if this specific IR repeater system works with the devices you want to control, especially if they're newer devices. (Note. The dual receiver can be found separately here on Amazon: Cmple - Dual Frequency IR Receiver SA HDTV DVR and DirectTV H21).

This worked great. I used to have to keep the door open and as most can anticipate, it never got closed. Now, my "boxes" all respond to the remote with the door closed, making my wife happy as well. As a bonus, the sensor flashes whenever it receives a command. This is reassuring that the transmitter is working. All remote control devices should provide feedback to let you know they received the command, but few do. Now I know when the batteries are dead, not making contact, remote failed, etc. Worked well for me.

The unit does what is advertised. If you are using a plasma, then you need to mount it behind the TV (Mine is about 4 inches, on the wall) Does its job well.



The only problem is that this is the third time I have purchased the unit (The parts are run through the wall and I don't feel like opening the wall) It is very fragile and the SLIGHTEST electrical disturbance renders it useless. On top of that you can't just buy a replacement brick. One time when the power went out, and another time when I was reconnecting a displaced connector.

I used this because my ottoman blocks my stereo receiver. I have a home theater system and I wanted to be able to eat in my dining room and have the tv going in the living room. We can see and hear from our dining room. Problem is, we can never get the volume right and sometimes we want to make adjustments while we're eating. Now I can control the volume on my stereo from another room! There is a nice blue led that blinks when it's getting the signal so you know it's working. I'm very pleased. The price is right for this, IMO.

I was looking for an IR repeater system because my wife didn't like having the stereo system doors open. I received the system, easy to install but........when I closed the doors, the old TEAC receiver I had would not turn on. I wrote to the company, explained the issue, within two days received a reply saying that the issue might be with the frequency and they would ship me a new IR receiver. I received that within two days, installed it, and everything works as advertised. I'm out of the dog house with my wife and very pleased with the customer service I received. I would buy from this company again. Good value and great customer service.'

When evaluating this type of equipment, one must differentiate between the device itself and other factors that can impact its performance. Blaming the manufacturer for issues likely caused by one's ISP is akin to saying, "I can't get past third gear because of all this construction on the highway... I'll never buy a Jaguar again!"



That said, the SBG6580 is a solid piece of kit.



This latest addition to the SURFboard line combines a DOCSIS 3 cable modem with a gigabit switch and a dual-antenna 802.11n wireless access point, providing all the networking equipment a home office needs in a single compact package... this amounts to a single point of failure, but that's par for the residential course. It can deliver 42 mbps downstream on a single channel (which my provider brands "Lightning") with support for eight bonded channels... meaning that when the day comes that ISPs start selling triple-digit speeds, this gateway won't need to be replaced.



Wi-Fi performance has been comparable to my old draft n router with similar range and throughput in a mixed mode environment. What sets the SBG6580 apart are its better indicator lights and superior configuration utility which offers some settings normally found only on enterprise-grade equipment. Those less inclined to tinker should know that push-button support is provided; once the cable guy finished with the wall outlet, setup took less than five minutes.



Finally, one word of caution: the SBG6580 needs airflow. I originally placed it flush against a similarly-sized backup hard drive on my desk and found the unit hot to the touch after a few hours. The SBG6580 can actually be a niece all-in-one device if you have the patience and know-how to get it configured right.



First off, there is a feature called 'IP Flood Detection' that needs to be disabled. (It is located under the Firewall page) By default, it is turned ON. When ON, this feature eventually causes everything to slow to a crawl. Turn it OFF (uncheck box) and you will never go slow again. This is certainly a failing on Motorola's part to default a poor-functioning feature ON in the first place.



I would agree that Motorola's interface is clunky in general. It is pretty powerful too and advanced users will be able to do most of what they want with it.



My carrier is Comcast and I enjoy real-word DL speeds of up to 4MBps (32mbps). Admittedly, with many of my apps, I'm actually around 3MBps, which is plenty fast for me. I have (2) hardwired PCs, (1) hardwired printer, (1) wireless laptop, (1) wireless printer, and (3) other hardwired devices on my network.



I do experience a random 'reset' of the modem on occasion. I have yet to track down what is causing it. I can't blame the hardware (yet) but it occurs with such irregularity (sometimes not for 5 days or more)



It isn't a perfect modem/gateway, but it is capable, if a touch user unfriendly.

I've had this modem in place for a month now and I am impressed in every respect. I previously had the Motorola 901 (which was a rock-solid performer), and upgraded to gain the "N" level of wireless performance and be prepared for DOCSIS 3.0 from my cable provider (Charter). I find this gateway performs to the limits of my ISP (which in my case at my rural location it 25 down and 3 up), and has good "reach" throughout my home. It performs flawlessly including hosting uninterrupted 4-way video-conferencing (Apple iSight). For those having problems, I suggest you relax your firewall settings a bit, especially those related to scrubbing packets. All make sure your cable provider is doing their part on the performance in, including having the right levels of line voltages in and out of your home (you can see these on the unit's diagnostics panel). In sum, I'm smiling, have no remorse whatsoever, would buy again, and would advise my best Friend to do so as well.

The option of having a cable modem with built in wireless N and 4 port switch was enticing, rather than having both a modem and a wireless router. It would save me $13/month vs renting one from my cable provider Time Warner and be a next generation cable modem with very nice wireless speeds.



I like a lot of others, ignored the bad reviews in light of some good reviews and rolled the dice on it. My dice came up snake eyes.



The modem would constantly disconnect from service, at least every couple of hours ranging from 1 - 10 minutes. A simple thing like changing the routers password was a staggering affair as not only do the labels on the page not make any sense, the documentation for the modem was also wrong. I ended up having to search online for how to exactly do it.



Eventually it got to the point I couldn't take it anymore and hit up Time Warner Cable support. They where great, sent a tech out to take a look at my setup. After one tech visit, I was still having problems with the modem. The tech was confident that the everything was good on their end.



However the modem kept dropping. I then spent around 1.5 hours on the phone with another tech as we troubleshot the router. The tech was getting all sorts of strange readings from it. He couldn't get the ip from the router, it was showing 6 different mac ids connect too it (which was impossible) among other bizarre stuff. We eventually settled on something is defiantly not right with this modem.



Anyways I sent it back to Amazon, which so far has been great with returns. I ended up going with a Motorola SB6120 SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 eXtreme Broadband Cable Modem and Netgear N600 Wireless Dual Band Router WNDR3400 and finally have a good setup.



Just do yourself a favor, check out the reviews here and elsewhere online there is something majorly wrong with a large number of these modems. Probably a bad memory module, but who knows. If you buy this item you're probably rolling the dice. - Internet - Home Network - Networking - Broadband'

This paper is way cheaper than regualr reems of paper. It is partly recycled, which is nice, but it isn't as good of quality as I am used to. It works really good printing on one side, but since it is kind of thin, putting it back in and printing on the back side is sometimes difficult. It curled and then jammed in my printer in the middle of a really important print job of about 250 pages of consecutive front-back copies, which messed up the correlation and caused me great heartache for several hours figuring out the mess it made of my papers. My printer doesn't do duplex, so I dont know if that works better, but manual printing on both sides has its quirks. Overall, it is great for normal use. If you're striving to be Eco friendly, but still maintain a budget, this is the paper deal for you. Priced nearly identically to other recycled papers , but double the amount of product--5000 sheets vs. 2500; can't beat that!

This paper is inexpensive and perfect for everyday use. I wouldn't use it for presentations or anything I was giving to someone to try to impress them but it is great for normal everyday use like printed homework, faxes, printing reports, etc.

I ordered this product at a very low price not being sure of what I would receive. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that this paper was every bit as nice as any other paper I had purchased at any price. On top of the wonderful price the speed at which it was delivered was amazing. Great Buy.

The paper was everything I expected, but the delivery by fed-x was really bad. The box looked like it was kicked off a cliff. But the paper was in good enough condition not to warrant me filing a complaint. Beware Fed-x

This is 30% PCW paper. They really should list that in the Technical Details.

Best Bread Machine - bread, highly recommended

I was fortunate to have my parents decide upon a bread maker as a gift to me and allow me to pick the model I wanted...knowing I'd spent the last year actually studying the art of bread making by hand from some pros and cookbooks.



I had my doubts, however, that a machine could replace all I was learning to do...



...it can!



Here are some highlights of why I chose this machine initially then I'll get down to what I know about it now having used it non-stop:



STAINLESS:

I had no intention of pulling a bread machine in and out of the cabinet each week so I knew for sure, if it was going to sit countertop, it needed to be stainless.



LOAF SHAPE:

I knew I wanted the shape of this loaf. Most turn out looking like an odd rocket with the top of the loaf on one of the small sides of the rectangle which screams "odd bread machine loaf" and every slice except the first few is all square edges. This machine actually bakes a loaf that makes it look like it came from a real bread pan. Not only do I prefer the soft top and crusty edges on each slice more, but it looks beautiful if you are entertaining and serve it or offer to bring bread at a potluck.



Now, here's what I know now:



SETTINGS:

It also has a setting to make meatloaf



HOMEMADE:

It DOES have a homemade course in case you want to totally change the settings for a loaf. You can program every single thing it does longer or shorter if you have some recipe of your own that you want to knead longer or shorter, sise longer or shorter, etc etc.

SOURDOUGH STARTER:

It has a cycle to help you make sourdough starter...just the starter with the recipe!

CAKE:

It has a cake setting and cake recipes. We made a great chocolate cake...love this for entertaining. I can make it prepare a warm dessert while I am busy with guests and the house smells amazing!

JAM:

It has a jam course to very easily make homemade jam for the bread for you!

DOUGH:

It has a dough course so you can let it do the hard stuff then you can shape the dough into a pizza, rolls, chiabatta, cinnamon rolls, soft pretzels, etc.

WHEAT:

It has a setting especially for wheat bread to make it perfectly

TWO KINDS:

It has a quick loaf setting that makes bread in 2 hours 18 min or the regular basic bread setting that makes it and bakes it in 3 hours 45 min.



Now some other goodies:



TWO KNEADING ARMS:

I have had a bread machine before with one tiny kneading arm but, let's face it, it's like kneading bread with one arm. This, when you look through the window, truly looks like the motions you'd use on your own as it has two kneading paddles rather than one.



NO TEFLON, BUT STILL NON-STICK: Fortunately, with all the reports on Teflon, they did not use a Teflon coating for this pan. (Someone said in an older review that theirs did...either they have updated the machine and removed it or the reviewer just thought it was due to it being non-stick. My manual says it is not Teflon and as a chef who avoids it, it's obviously not. I know what Teflon looks like even if someone tried to sneak it in.

There is no dark Teflon coating.) However, it's extremely non-stick and I usually merely only need to brush away a few crumbs after use. I've never had to put it in the dishwasher.



SIZE OF LOAF:

This makes a 2 lb loaf...or less. If you need more bread, it has the capacity. But I often use recipes for smaller loaves too. It gives you option. If I make a 2 lb loaf I get a great size slice that fills me up for breakfast with one slice. Also, on my old bread maker I used to have years ago, sometimes the dough would rise too high, spill over the edge and burn, this extra capacity allows for lots of rising!



ADD-INS:

It beeps near the start of the loaf to tell you you can add in raisins, nuts, etc. At this time I often add in cheese chunks. That way they don't totally melt in the preheating stage and I get some amazong jalapeno cheese bread with some bigger pieces of cheese in it.



CRUST SETTINGS:

It allows you to choose if you want your crust to be light, dark, or medium.



So bottom line...we are a two chef household. Big bakers. I've reviewed a few bread making cookbooks on Amazon this past year when I was in my bread making phase doing everything by hand...



what a waste of time! I love this machine!



TIMER CYCLE:

My favorite thing to do is use the timer cycle. I can put my ingredients in in the morning and have it set to greet me with a warm loaf as I walk in the door from work in the evening.



But what if I work late?



AUTOMATIC WARMER:

It automatically keeps the loaf warm for 30 minutes if you don't take it out when it's done!



This is also great for the best way to wake up in the morning...set it at night, go to sleep and wake up to homemade bread for breakfast. If I sleep in? It stays hot.



For dinner parties I can plop the ingredients in that morning and work on prep for the meal and when guests arrive a hot loaf is timed for dinner...always a hit.



PAYS FOR ITSELF OVER TIME:

We no longer buy hamburger and hotdog buns either. This MAKES a burger as the taste of homemade buns has no equal, even if it's a portobello burger it takes good! We used to buy a loaf or two a week of bread that was "blah". Baking a loaf is dirt cheap and makes for a very cheap breakfast or snack to when enjoying a slice. And if you never want to buy a bread machine cookbook or cookbooks like I did, search the internet...tons of recipes for bread machines free! Plus, we have friends who trade us stuff like eggplant or super sweet tomatoes they grew for a loaf of bread after I got them hooked.



FINISHED PRODUCT:

This shocks me how perfect the loaf is each time.



ok, so I am a raving fan...if I had to choose again, I'd pick the same one. We cook bread of some kind 2 times per week and I haven't had a bad loaf yet.



VARIATION:

The great thing is that there are so many bread machine cookbooks that you don't have to bake the same loaf twice. Honey wheat one day, beer bread the next, dill bread, jalapeno cheese bread, sour cream bread, cottage cheese bread, Anadama, roasted red pepper...any plain sandwich becomes new for us.



CLEAN UP:

It all slides out, there isnt any. And it came with a measuring spoon and cup which pretty much covers all measurements so you don't have but two of those to wash afterwards either.



NEGATIVES:

Like my old machine, you need to be sure to pull off the two kneading paddles if any remnants of the loaf remained under them after baking, also the paddle can come off in the loaf like any machine...same old negatives I had before which aren't a big deal, but just be sure you don't do what I did once and bake a loaf for someone who was sick and I delivered it to them with the paddle still protruding from the botoom. With a little twist it comes out.



Conclusion: I'm coming home to a Graham bread today...made with graham flour. As usual, it's a recipe I haven't had before. I have enough bread recipes to last a loaf a day if I wanted. Always baked perfect. Love the machine.



AND I've made loaves with very low fat margarine and they are great! YOu can actually lower the calories of your bread but still maintain that homemade yeasty taste I couldn't get with store bread. - Best Bread Maker - Highly Recommended - Best Bread Machine - Bread - Bread Machine - Zojirushi'

My Ethernet wire broke. (the wire I used to connect my Verizon Modem to my Linksys Router) so I got this one and it works fine. I would have liked them to specify "Ethernet" in the description cause I'm not familiar with the terminology and wasn't sure it was the same wire I had that needing replacing. I finally looked up CAT5e on the web and found a site that called it an Ethernet wire so I came back here and bought it. Belkin A3L791-S 3-Foot RJ45 CAT 5e Snagless Molded Patch Cable (Blue)

I bought these Belkin cables. They are very nice quality. They seem heftier than a lot of the other cables. My system analyst neighbor mentioned that he prefers to buy the 1000 foot roll. He runs them to wall outlets, then uses the 7 foot or 14 foot snap in cable from the wall to the PC. That way, you don't have to buy a 40 dollar crimping tool. You can't solder these cables. They require a metal to metal contact, and lead-solder doesn't qualify. Also, it is critical to keep them spiraled, all the way up to the end. Even when attaching, instructions call for twisting them right up to the connection. Since the tech instructions, tell you to keep them down to under 350 feet, these cables, whether they are long or short, are in the right lengths. I know Amazon doesn't print prices in their reviews, but they have the local major chain office supply stores beat hands down. The 50 foot roll was half again as much locally. These are the Category 5e cables. They give you a better return feed, which results in better overall performance. So insist on 5e instead of just 5. I initially bought some wall plates from (a nation wide electrical supply store) that were Category 3, then I returned those for the snap in option Category 5. Those were returned also, when I went to (a nation wide building supply center)... (of all places to go networking) and they had the complete Leviton line of 5e accessories. If I had to do it over again, I would still buy the Belkin 50 footers. I don't want to have a 500 foot roll of ethernet cable hanging around. These are tops. Gold plated connectors, Snag free ends, that protect that little lock in tab on the ends. You know the frustration of unsnarling a phone wire, out of a wiring mess, and the little tab bends over backwards, never to work properly again. Well Belkin built twin arches over the sides to prevent just that. Way to go. Highly recommended, good stuff, for a good price.

I'll make this short and fast much in the same way this cable works. First and foremost: it works and works well. It may be only be 3 feet long and that is totally my fault but it fits exactly as I need it. If I were lucid when I measured the location I would have chosen a longer cord and had a little extra but for what I needed at the time and now the length is perfect. I have a virtual cable factory behind my electronics and when making any changes it is a nightmare because it seems as if everyone will get hung up at the connector but NOT this Belkin. It is snagless and that is fantastic for the lazy or impatient. Those elements alone would be worth buying this cable; however, when the value is added in this is a fantastic buy and I highly recommend it under any circumstances that work.

You'd think all ethernet cables are the same, but after installing thousands of pre-terminated cables in my profession, you get a good intuition of what's good and what's not. These cables are certainly well made and reliable and an important part of any network. You won't have any issues with this one so stock up and don't worry about connectivity issues.

If you do wired networking, you will know that there is no such thing as too many patch cables. Usually the ones you have are much too long - hence my seeking & ordering these shorter cables. Certainly as good quality as any others; and WAY WAY cheaper than I have seen in any retail store!

I needed a cable shorter than 6 feet. The 1' cable I had was too short. The snagless feature is really useful since I have a tangled nest of cables under the desk - disconnecting and re-connecting will not be a problem. - Cat5 - Belkin - Ethernet Cable - Ethernet'

I have several pet peeves as regards watches:



1. Lose their luminescence in the dark

2. No date

3. Band doesn't have correct adjustments.



This watch has it all. With the Luminox illumination technology, I can see the time no matter how long it's been since nightfall. Plus, with the velcro band, I can adjust it to any degree, allowing for infinite adjustments. It is also extremely comfortable, to the point that you will forget you have it on.



This watch does have a date which, although small, can be seen when needed.



I chose model 3903 because the diameter was smaller and less obtrusive. It also has a movable bezel to mark time when needed. Last, but certainly not least, this watch has kept perfect time. Luminox Men's 3903 Original Navy SEAL Dive Watch

This watch is very useful and practical. It is waterproof to 200 meters and shock resistant. Being in the Navy, I wear it every day, and it is an excellent everyday work watch and great during physical training sessions. I recommend it highly to anyone who wants to wear it outdoors to work or play.

Had been looking at the larger LumiNox watches, but considered them to large for my wrist. This particular model (3900 series) is a smaller version of the more well known LumiNox Navy Seal watches. I bought this unit so I could have background music during parties and other events at my house. When it's just me, I can crank it up and the sound is pretty good. At more moderate levels, it's excellent. I've tested it with heavy metal, classic rock, dance, jazz and ballads. As you will undoubtedly read when looking at similar product reviews, the bass is not very strong, but it's not supposed to be on an item of this price. I was looking for a decent, inexpensive speaker for a small space - and that's what I got. The sound is good, neither awful nor excellent - about what you'd expect for its pricepoint - and I have yet to come across any distortion, after some fairly extensive experimenting with different volume levels and music genres. It's nicely compact, able to be easily toted from room to room.



What knocked a star off for me is its compatibility with the second generation iPod nano. The packing does include an adapter to support the nano (with separate adapters for first and second generation) within the docking station, but something in its dimensions is off; when the nano is inserted, it doesn't dock fully. Removing the insert and plugging the nano into the full space worked fine and it's possible to jury-rig two of the other adapters to support the nano, but it was still a moment's frustration.



Overall, the problem with the docking wasn't enough to truly damage the functionality of this product, and it's certainly something I would recommend to someone looking for a basic speaker.

I purchased this Ipod round speaker and I like it. However, I did return the item when I first received it because it was not working correctly. There was too much static. I return it for an exchange and as soon as I received the new one I tried it at it worked. I work in an office at this is perfect for my limited space. I recommend this item to anyone who want a speaker that will not bother other coworkers. good working item.

I purchased this item based on the reviews I read, and am very pleased. It will be used primarily at work, it is the perfect size for my desk. I played it for 9hrs straight today without a problem. The sound quality is just right for this purpose.

I was hesitant to buy something so affordable by a brand I had never heard of, but boy was I pleasantly surprised by this neat little set of speakers. It sits on my desk at work. Doesn't take up too much space. Sound quality is great. Going away on business tomorrow and I'm packing this in my suitcase because it won't take up much space. Go for it! You won't be disappointed.

I'm actually listening to my Ipod on this device as I write this review and I have to say I have been pleased with it. I've owned it for about 7 months now and use it in my office at work. The sound quality is good for the setting and it can get fairly loud if I need it to. I wouldn't use this as my primary speakers anywhere, but they are great for a compact work setting or house setting where you know you will never need to crank the volume. Also, at the price, its definitely an affordable way to listen to your Ipod.

I have a new IPOD Nano and the adaptor will not let it make a complete connection. The only way it works is to remove the adaptor, but then it's loosly sitting there and will eventually break the Nano. Beware if you have a new Nano.

This speaker is really only good if you plan on listening to your ipod "quietly". When you play something at peak volume (which is pretty low on this speaker) you tend to get an unclean "tinny" sound. Buy this if you want to listen to music at an office desk, but it's not really good for any other environment. It's cool that it charges the ipod while it's docked and the price is low - I can't say much else in its defense.

The docking caused my ipod to freeze up multiple times and always caused glitches in the music. I started using it with the cable to plug it into the speakers and not dock it, and the music sounded like it was in a bubble. The unit kept turning itself off every five minutes.
