Preschool Activity Book - preschool activity book, preschool

I used this book with my daughter Victoria during her summer vacation 2002. She has been diagnosed ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). After having a tough year in kindergarten I wanted to make sure she had a head start on all the learning requirements for 1st grade. As her first week of 1st grade came to a close we received many comments on her reading skills and other skills. I enjoyed using this book as a 1 on 1 tool with Victoria and her self-confidence has been boosted because she does see that all the hard work this summer has paid off. She completed 200 pages of the 440 + pages of work and will hopefully complete the book on weekends and vacations so that she can start the next level next summer. Highly recommended. This book allows children to learn new school skills as well as polish up on already known skills. The pages are jam packed with colorful drawings and characters that make children using the book want to continue doing and learning more. This book can be used as a home-schooling book, or a a tool to give children a "Jump-start" on their next year of school. I reccomend this book to anyone with a child in the house. It strengthens reading and writing skills tremendously. Don't miss out on giving your child that extra edge in school!

I bought two copies of this book in July to use in homeschooling my first grade twins. This is our first year homeschooling, and choosing the right curriculum was daunting, to say the least. When I found this book, the pages reminded me a lot of the Saxon Math and Saxon Phonics worksheets my kids had brought home from kindergarten in public school, except that they are far more colorful. I decided that I couldn't really beat the price, so I gave the book a try.

As of this week, we are halfway through the book and moving right along. Based on my conversations with parents of first graders in the local public school system, my kids are actually ahead of their peers. The best thing is, they are EXCITED to do their school work each day. They often ask for more work in the evenings! If that is not a good review of this book, I don't know what is.

My one and only complaint with the book is that there are often not enough pages dedicated to a particular concept. However, I have found that it is easy and fun to supplement the worksheets with games that we make up on our own. For instance, when learning beginning or ending consonant sounds, we would have races to find objects in the house that began or ended with the target letter that I would call out. This helped to really cement in the concept that had been studied in the book and present the same lesson in a different form.

If you are teaching multiple children at home, I HIGHLY recommend getting each child his or her own copy of the book. I considered buying one book and photocopying the pages for each of my children, but the cost of the book is likely less than I would have spent on paper and ink. I also DEFINITELY recommend buying a 2 inch binder and tearing out each page as you work on it. The book is very thick and does not bend open easily... tearing out the pages allows for much better handwriting form and it allows you to skip back and forth easily from the math to the reading sections.

A few things we didn't like: There are way too many coloring sheets for us since ds hates to color. There are plenty of other valuable worksheets though. I wish the parent guide was a little more informative. Some of the directions are very long and confusing for a first grader. The math sections are kindergarten level at best. In all it was worth the few bucks I paid for it.

We home school and I have used a few different levels of this book for review purposes. The exercises range from review of the end of grade before to mid-level exercises of the current year. Rather than going thru the book from beginning to end, I tear out the pages which I fell my daughter needs a review on. We probably only use 40% of the book because the exercises seem pretty simple. We find nothing too challenging. Using this book helps me fell that we covered all this grade's material sufficiently.

The full-color entertaining graphics are refreshing and make otherwise potentially dull material refreshing. I was happy that reading, reading comprehension, english, spelling, and math subjects are covered. The answer section in the back is always appreciated just to confirm that I am understanding what they want.

I was a little disappointed to discover that the spelling section is EXACTLY the same as the material from another School Specialty Publishing publication, "Master Skills Spelling & Writing". I would say 80% of the material from Master Skills is in this book as well. What is missing is the entertaining crossword, fill-in, and word finds. These "fun" exercises were my daughter's favorite part of the Master Skills book. I have run into this before when purchasing School Specialty Publishing books. FYI and buyer beware.

Although I would not recommend this book for Home-schoolers to use as their primary curriculum, this book is great for extra practice or to use as a review. For the Price, this book is a combination of workbooks put together adding a little flavor of history and science

It's a little simplistic when it comes to some pages but this depends on your childs skill level. We use this for homeschooling and enjoy it as an easy alternative to printing out worksheets to do. The pages are colorfull with nice pictures (even the answer key in the back is in color). Worksheets have printed directions at the top of each so children can do them independantly. I feel like this is a good quality book for the price.

This book is a summer review book before going into the [...]. I have twin girls that just finished kindergarten. Everything that is in this book was covered in their kindergarten class. Last year, I purchased the kindergarten Curriculum Book and that was also much review but it also had some challenging concepts that they had not learned previously in preschool. I would not use this Grade 1 book as a companion for their [...] learning but I think it is a wonderful source for continued summer learning and review before children enter the [...]. - Curriculum - Homeschool - Preschool Activity Book - Preschool'

I just purchased this stapler to install cedar siding and it worked great. Using 1 1/2 long staples it had no problem going through the siding, 3/4 plywood and into the 2 x 4 studs. This unit comes in a nice plastic case with with metal clasps. This stapler is light and easy to use. Note this unit does not come with a fitting so have one on hand if you need to use it right away. I bought this gun to put cabinet drawer boxes together.

The GOOD is-

I really liked it from the box. It is nice and light with a really cool belt clip. That would have never sold me on the gun, but now that I have a belt clip - I am looking for a finish nailer with one (it must have one)! It helps if you put a swivel hose nozle on the gun so it doesn't fall off your belt as easy.

This gun has a small profile and simply feels nice. The knob that allows you to control the depth clicks as you turn it (which is just plane nice again, not a feature that would sell me on the gun).

It also will not fire when it is out of staples, so it doesn't make an uneccesary hole.

The BAD points are few, and maybe undetected. I have been buying less expensive guns in the past, like porta-cable. When they broke, I tore into it to find that it has a plastic cylinder. Is that what this gun has?? The safety tip has bent out a little, which can be a big inconvenience when you are trying to shoot near an edge. The tip will not contact your material, and therefore prevent you from firing. Also, there is no indicator of your staple supply.

So far, I would still buy this gun again!

As a pneumatic neophyte I found the 7140-21 very easy to load and use. Worked perfectly right out of the box without any depth adjustments. Quality and durability are important to me so I was willing to spend a little more. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Milwaukee tool in the future. You supply your own NPT adapter so make sure you have it on hand so you can begin using this tool immediately.

This seems to be a pretty sweet little gun. I am a contractor and just wanted to find a rebuild kit for my senco gun. Saw this low priced gun and thought I would take a chance on it. I needed to staple a lot of Redwood slats for a Japanese style fence. The gun worked perfectly. I really liked the depth of drive adjustment. For underlayment you will probably want a heavier duty gun.

I've had half a dozen narrow crown staplers and worn them all out. I've used this one a few times now and have been pleased. One nice feature is that it stops sending the plunger down when it runs out of staples. The price was right and the stapler seems like a good one.

The price points on this tool are pretty good. It has many attractive features and it operates quite nicely. This model allows staples up to 1 1/2 inches in length--its best feature. Most "economy-priced" staplers stop at one inch, a limitation that will come back to haunt you. Much of the tool is plastic, so don't expect an ultra-rugged workhorse like the Milwaukee tools of the good old days. I use this tool for both work and home projects and expect it to last as long as its comparable-priced competitors. CAUTION: This tool does NOT come with an air line nipple, so plan to have one on hand if you buy this product.

I havnt used it much but wen I did it set the 1 1/2" staples in MDF and pine with no problem. I found the safety to be a hinderance in detailed mouldings, I forced it back with a shim and works much better now. It still sticks out 1/8" I tried to hacksaw it off but it must be hardend, a friend suggested I use the belt sander. I had an old pasload that bit the dust and it was much heavier than this tool. I luv the light weight and the color. If I can eliminate this saftey and it performs in the hardwoods I will be a happy camper.

This Milwaukee stapler has worked pretty well and has saved me a lot of work. A far cry from having to use a manual stapler. I do have two minor complaints. The first is that mine did not come with the anti-mar piece that fits over the actuation plunger. This would help to minimize the amount of surface marks on the finished product. The second issue is that when using the smaller sized staples - 3/8" and 1/2" - it will occasionally misfire. It doesn't jam - just no staple is fired. The next one may be fine, or it may take two or three tries. Then it is back to normal. I have been using only brand name staples, so can't imagine that is the issue. Optical Digital Convertor - audio, digital

Works great for my application! My brand new SHARP Aquos has five HDMI inputs, but only one Optical audio out. My old BOSE LS-50 only has ONE COAX Digital-in (and NO optical). This unit allowed me to pass all of the audio through my TV (PS3, Wii, Tuner, PC, etc.) and out to the BOSE without a switchbox or changing wires all the time.

I have NOT had to power-cycle the device yet (as other have warned) and it has worked consistently and sounds great.

**NOTE** As others have mentioned; BE SURE to get the right one!!! This model is OPTICAL-IN, COAX OUT. These are uni-directional and this unit will not convert COAX to optical. Choose carefully! Cables to Go 40019 Optical to Coaxial Digital Audio Converter (Black)

I had the problem of too many TOSLINK outputs and not enough inputs. The good news for me was that I did have one spare Coax input. This converter easily made the switch and I'm enjoying my digital audio with no problems.

Please be aware that this is a powered unit- so plan to have a power brick (albeit a small one) plugged in somewhere near your desired install location. Also, the unit itself is about the length and width of a business card, and about as thick as a deck of cards. In other words, it's pretty small and can fit just about anywhere.

I bought this converter to be able to connect my PS3 to my home theater, which only had a coaxial input... I refused to buy a new home theater because it's not easy to find one with an active subwoofer (nor cheap).

It usually works perfect, but sometimes after a while, and all of a sudden, normal sounds become a very loud and irritating hiss, which usually scares the hell out of me...

I think I found out what causes this: when it gets hot (it was besides my PS3) so I repositioned it in a cooler, better ventilated place, and that was it... recommended

My amp has 1 optical and 3 coaxial digital audio connections. Both my playstation 3 and Tivo HD are optical only. With this convertor I can have both components hooked up at the same time with no problems, it just works and I still get the dolby digital 5.1 from the Tivo. I can discern no difference between connecting the tivo directly to the amp via optical, or to this convertor and then to coaxial on the amp. I have my tivo and this unit on a timer that turns it off 12+ hours a day to save energy, and this device doesn't mind losing power each day.

I have been trying for some time now to figure out what I needed to convert the Optical Audio out on my new HD TV to my Philips Surround Sound System. My TV unfortunately did not have a HDMI output despite having 4 HDMI inputs. The Video out was handled by a set of Component Video Outs.

I think my main problem was not knowing the correct technical name for all the jacks. As it turns out the TV optical jack is generally called a TOSLINK - The Philips unit had a Digital Coaxial Input as well as standard RCA sort of inputs. I wanted to maintain a high quality audio signal so I found this device which has allowed me to use the TOSLINK Optical Output on the TV and connect it to the Coaxial Digital Input on the Philips.

Wandas Evil Scheme - dry erase, dryerase

I spent 10 years teaching in a blackboard and chalk environment, but I changed jobs several years ago and I've been teaching in a whiteboard and dry erase marker world ever since.

I have to admit that I was hesitant to make the switch - people don't like change, but I've come to appreciate the increased flexibility that dry erase markers can give.

I routinely use 5 or more different colors of markers in my zoology courses (black, red, green, blue, orange, and sometimes others), and I've been particularly pleased with Expo Dry Erase Markers.

I find these markers to have brilliant colors, I quite like the orange ones :-)

Of course, no marker lasts forever, and like any marker, once these start to run out or the tip dries out it's a gonner. Until then though they work great.

Likes:

- I like the fact that you can tell when the pen cap is firmly seated - a must for lengthening marker life

- I also like how the pen cap fits easily and securely into the opposite end of the marker so you don't lose it while you are writing.

- I like that fact that the color of ink in the marker is clearly indicated on the pen body.

Dislikes:

- The chisel-point tip on these markers is too fine. When a marker is brand new you have plenty of ink, but because the ink tip is so fine you have to hold the pen at a particular angle to get a wide enough like to make a bold mark that is wide enough for students at the back of a 100-seat lecture hall to see. Then by the time the pen nib gets into a workable shape to produce a nice heavy line every time you shortly run out of ink.

All in all, these are very good pens, but not without some minor issues, thus 4 stars for teaching. These would be worthy of 5 stars if they were used only for personal in-home white message board use.

The markers are dark and clearly visible, while the eraser is fairly thorough. The box comes with a plastic-molded container (as you see in the picture), with double-sided tape for easy, stable, mounting on a wall beside the whiteboard. For the low price, this is unbeatable.

They write consistantly well. Seem to last fairly long. The price is good. The eraser works as well as most other dry erase markers.

They got here fast...

I'm not sure what else to say about dry erase markers...

I use these for whiteboard teaching presentations. I love having the additional colors of Orange and Brown to the standard primary colors.

If you do any sort of technical presentation where having multiple colors is useful, this is a great purchase. I've been using EXPO markers for many years and they've never let me down. Good quality markers at a reasonable price shipped free; there's no down side to buying these.

i've been using these for a couple of weeks. At first they worked out great. Now the ones that I've used for a couple weeks aren't working so well. And whereas at first it was easy to erase the markings, now it's much harder. The ones that I've used for a couple of weeks are harder to write with and much, much harder to erase.

I understand that felt markers don't last forever, but it's only been a couple weeks.

Natural Cures - hemp food, health

I love this company! Their products are always fresh and delicious. The hemp seeds are wonderful and versatile, and I make all kinds of recipes with them. I like buying the big bucket of their hemp seeds because I use them in shakes, smoothies, eaten plain, added to trail mix, sprinkled on salad, and I even make many Raw vegan desserts, soups, and pates with them. I keep them stored in the freezer for extra freshness. This super food's nutrient profile is awesome... highly digestible complete protein, essential fatty acids in a great ratio, iron, calcium, vitamin E, zinc, chlorophyll, and other nutrients.

Just the other day I created a Raw Vegan Frozen Banana Protein Shake by blending 1 cup water, 3 sm-med frozen bananas (chopped), 1 Tablespoon raw carob (optional), 2 Tablespoons Manitoba Harvest Hemp Seeds, and 4 Tablespoons Manitoba Harvest Protein Powder. It was so yummy that I made a second one in the same day and I'm getting ready to make another right now. Manitoba Harvest Shelled Hemp Hearts, 5-Pound Tub

This is the 3rd time I have ordered from this company through Amazon and have never had a problem. The container clearly states that it contains "shelled hemp seed" which I would interpret as "hemp hearts" without the outer shell or husk. But apparently it doesn't say that the husks are removed from the container. This most recent order had at least 50% husks mixed in with the hearts so I took issue. Amazon as well as Manitoba Harvest were very accommodating and sent a replacement order. I was not charged for the first order. The replacement was better but still had lots of husks. I've purchased other hemp hearts in the health food store and there are no husks at all so this was a bit disappointing. If you don't mind the taste or texture of having them in there, then it's a great deal.

Hey! If you have never tried adding Hemp seed to your diet you should. I started out with a smaller version of Manitoba Harvest Hemp Seed, but used it all in smoothies, salads, and various recipes quickly, so I upgraded to the 5 lb. bucket. It stores nicely in my outside frig. You can also store Hemp seeds in glass mason jars and freeze them. When you are ready for use, just open the jar and measure out the quantity you need.

The taste of Manitoba's Hemp Seed is superior in my opinion. In fact, I have grown to love the taste of hemp. I always sprinkle a few tablespoons on my kale salads or in smoothies.

Overall, I highly recommend this product especially if you are looking for more vegan ways to up your protein intake, as Hemp is an excellent source.

This is a fantastic product, I just ordered my second tub. The seeds smell very fresh and keep well. The protein is primarily edestin, which is a native protein to the human being and is the ideal protein for anti-body and immunoglobulin production. There are also no enzyme inhibitors on shelled cannabis which makes it very easily digestible. Also, the fat content is literally a perfect source of essential fats, with the same ratio of fats as are found in our brain! Of course they are short chain omega 3 fatty acids, as with all vegetarian fair, however the human body produces the enzyme delta-9 desaturase which transform them into long chain fatty acids, like those found in fish. It is this process of the human being developing the long chain fats that Rudolf Steiner hints at as being one of the real spiritual reasons to consume vegetarian foods, is that our body becomes a factory for certain fats, which has a certain alchemical effect within the individual.

I thought it would take me awhile to go through these but I finished the tub within 2 weeks. Excellent to sprinkle on salads, steamed veggies, base in smoothies, additive to yogurts and oatmeals, mixed with potatoes, pretty much mix it with anything.

I was showing the tub off to one of my friends who eats more of a mainstream diet and I put it up to her nose to smell it and she said it smelled like dirt - it really sort of does, it smells great. It is very earthy and almost bitter in taste, however it is very mild when mixed with other things. The seeds have a robust character of tremendous value to the human species, anyone committed to the development and future of humanity would be wise to befriend and defend this plant of nearly unequivocal value to the human species.

Hopefully there will be hemp farms in America soon - If we had eyes to see this food would be a staple in all hosptials, schools, and other major food institutions. The plant is easy to grow and extremely useful in a multitude of ways. Word to the wise: Keep your eye on hemp.

After purchasing a much smaller package at Native sun, I researched for other cost effective alternatives and found this 5-pound container on Amazon. We use it daily as an extra protein source and have found it is giving us a boost of energy when taken early in the morning.

5 pounds is a lot of seeds. I sprinkle a couple of tablespoons on my cereal for breakfast -- which should last me about a year. If you're on a diet make sure that you check the calories and act accordingly. The nutritional breakdown of hemp seeds makes them a very good addition to your diet.

I've also added a handfull of nuts (almonds or walnuts) and 2 pieces of 90% cocoa (Lindt) to my daily food intake. All three are high-calorie foods but in moderation appear to have very significant health benefits.

These seeds are high in protein and I highly recommend that you research their benefits.

This is the best deal for bulk Hemp Seeds on Amazon. Manitoba is not Certified Organic, but does follow Organic practices as well or better than any other producer. Because they are not certified, their costs are lower, and the prices are too. Hemp Seeds are a perfect food, combined with some goji berries and plenty of fresh greens, Hemp is all you need for complete nutrition and a perfect diet.

It's really a shame that US growers cannot legally grow this amazing crop that contains 0 psychoactive compounds. Farmers grew Hemp in World War II to clothe the troops for battle, and this fast growing crop helped win the war in it's own way. - Hemp Food - Hemp - Health - Raw Food'

Charging Cradle

I ordered the Motorola Droid Multimedia Station on the Droid's release day because I thought it was a cool idea. I didn't see it in person until it was delivered to my door and the geek in me loves it!

PROS:

- Nice build quality

- Non-skid base

- Turns your Droid into an alarm clock and weather station

- Sync your data via USB cable

- Just plain cool looking

CONS:

- Will not work with cases

- Somewhat expensive

The box includes 4 items, the actual dock, a micro USB cable, an AC adapter, and a user guide. The dock itself is very well made and is quite hefty in weight. You won't be accidentally knocking this dock around from your desk especially since it also has a non-skid base. The dock has a micro USB port that you plug the cable into and then you plug the other end into the AC adapter. This of course, powers and charges your Droid, which is perfect for your nightstand. If you want to sync your Droid, just plug the micro USB cable into your PC. This will charge your Droid too, but at a much slower rate and only when your PC is powered on.

When you dock the Droid in, the orientation changes automatically to landscape. You select what city you want your weather widget to display and boing, you have your multimedia station. The dock has magnets located in specific areas to activate this mode, which I just found can be activated by using an app called "Dockrunner." It is available for download in the Marketplace.

It's a little pricey for what it does but it is cool nonetheless. An audio out or built-in stereo speakers would've been cool but no biggie! Motorola DROID Multimedia Docking Station [Retail Packaging]

I really wanted this for my Droid, and its good quality. When you place your Droid in this Charging Cradle/"Multimedia Station", it charges you battery and magnets activate a Multimedia mode on your phone, allowing you to brows photos, listen to music, and work with your alarm clock right on your nightstand. Not owning an iPod, I can't tell you how much I love having all mp3's and so forth available right next to my bed. This is a lovely product.

Pros and Cons:

1) The magnets override your lock feature, which may be a security issue for some.

2) The Droid won't fit in the cradle with any kind of body armor/silicone/hard plastic case attached around it. You'll have to take this off when you want to use the cradle.

3) The Multimedia mode has a built-in "dimmer" switch for night time use, but I personally find even that setting emits too much light in my room, and that makes me crazy. If you don't have an issue with things emitting light while you sleep, this is a non-issue for you.

4) The cord that comes with the cradle is the same as comes with the phone- its VERY short. I had to use a USB extension cable to get from an outlet to my nightstand.

I really like this though- the problems I have all me.

The droid multimedia station is a nice desk accessory, but it has its problems and don't buy it as a bedside alarm clock.

Pros:

1) Beautiful and compact

2) Easy to exit dock mode and access most other Smartphone functions.

Cons:

1) There is only one dimming level, which is still fairly bright in a dark room.

2) When the display is dimmed, there is little contrast between the numbers and the background, making the display hard to read. This

problem could be solved if the background and/or time coloring were customizable, but this is not the case.

3) When placing a call while the droid is in the dock, the in-call screen does not shift into landscape mode, making it difficult (but not impossible) to accesses the features such as the dial-pad and speaker button.

4) The buttons on the bottom of the screen stay illuminated, regardless of if the screen is dimmed or not.

5) It would be nice to change the widget buttons while in the multimedia dock mode. For example, I do not use the built-in android alarm clock (I use the app Math Alarm Clock), so I would like to have direct access to that application instead of the standard alarm.

6) Sometimes it takes a while for the weather to update. Importantly, the latest droid update mostly fixed this problem, giving me hope that other issues will be fixed in the future.

7) There is no audio jack to send music to speakers

8) Expensive (especially since you can make your own dock with multimedia mode easily)

For the money, you might expect a bit more than a weighted base (with magnet!) and a power adapter. I know I did. You can use software to go into the same mode as the dock for free, so YMMV.

I appreciate the design. It's heavy enough to not get knocked around too easily on my desk, and my wife keeps hers in the kitchen. It would work equally well as an alarm clock/night stand device. We got these with our 2 droids since it was a nice refined way to charge them and still get plenty of functionality (weather/time/music) at a visible angle.

Pros:

1. Well weighted with rubberized bottom keeps it from bouncing around easily

2. Designed nicely - Looks sharp. The Droid's audio is surprising clear in speaker mode for playing music (especially for such a small speaker), but a Bluetooth or corded headset (or speaker setup) would work here.

3. Nice angle for keeping an eye on the clock. I'm hoping Google improves the interface... the weather section is a bit small and doesn't give much info. A real-time radar with more info would be best and perhaps a smaller alarm clock with more configuration/personalization options for color, stock ticker, etc. would be great. But this doesn't affect my review of the dock.

4. Fits perfectly and makes it easy to remember where you left your phone. :-)

Cons:

1. I thought that the cable for USB/DC Converter was a bit short. It's the same as the one that came with the Droid. Nothing that can't be amended, but for $30 they couldn't throw in another meter?

2. It boils down to being a weighted/angled slot with charger/usb cable for $30. It probably amounts to $2 in materials if that. It would be expensive at $15.

3. It really doesn't deliver much. You can get everything but the pre-positioned angle without the doc, and the doc software needs improvement (not a slam on the dock itself, just pointing it out). Unless you're really using it as an alarm clock, It's difficult to see the point now that I have it. If you're watching movies on it as a sort of TV replacement, then maybe... yeah.

4. No cases allowed (it won't fit with them on).

In the end, it is well built and designed nicely. I think it should offer more for the money (maybe built in speakers?) but it is what it is, an overpriced accessory, and for what it's worth, usually overpriced accessories are built like junk, so this gets a 4.'

Notebook Sleeve - netbook, notebook sleeve

I already have and very much like a slightly-larger version of this for my Dell Latitude D620 computer at work, so this was an easy purchase decision. My Eee PC 1000 already came with a similar neoprene case, but a big too big for the computer alone, yet not big enough to also hold the AC adapter and a mouse, plus no way to keep them from scratching the computer if I'd jammed them all in together.

The Caselogic LNEO-10 is just enough smaller to properly fit the 1000, with a separate zipped compartment that can accomodate both the AC adapter and a mouse. Though the result looks a bit lumpy, it works well. I also very much like the handles on the LNEO-10. They are comfortable in use, and easily fold out of the way when not in use. I picked up one of these cases for my EEE PC 1000h and it fits pretty close to perfectly. The pocket on the side is big enough to hold the power adapter and a mouse. The top handles are more useful than I would have thought, since I intended to mostly carry this case inside a messenger-style bag, but I've found it quite handy to just carry the computer in just this case. The case seems reasonably well padded, probably not enough to protect a laptop from a serious drop but enough to protect it from the occasional bump. The only thing I could ask for would be for a pocket on the other side. I'm pretty satisfied with this case.

I like the design, it's a pretty tiny case. I bought it following a recomendation for my Lenovo S10 that looks awesome in white color. So what I can not accept at first, is that the red cover inside the sleeve stains the charguer and cables that ARE WHITE. CASE LOGIC MUST HAVE TO CORRECT THIS SITUATION.

If you have a black or dark netbook you'll never realize about the stains, but what if you put a document inside?

I did not notice the external pocket when I made my purchase. I was surprised to see it.

EEE 1000 fits inside the main compartment well and the power adapter fits inside the other pocket. It is not as smooth and flat when the power adapter is put in the pocket, but it is convenient for grabbing everything as one set.

The Samsung NC10 fits nicely. Not a snug fit by any means, but close enough to keep it from flopping around in the case. The external pocket holds the NC10 power supply, Bluetooth mouse and has room left for two extra batteries, a small USB router and a couple of very small items like a flash drive. The pocket will be misshapen and lumpy, but all your stuff will be in one place.

The carrying handles are soft and easy to hold.

Overall construction is typical Caselogic: very well made.

I have one small lament: no loops for a shoulder strap. My opinion is that all carrying bags should have loops o shoulder straps.

Other than that small item (and it is indeed a lament, not a complaint), the Caselogic LNEO-10 Ultra-Portable Neoprene Notebook Sleeve is an inexpensive, durable and expandable way to carry and protect your netbook.

After trying out several different cases/sleeves for my Toshiba NB205 and being disappointed with each, I stumbled upon this Case Logic Notebook sleeve. It has been an exceptional choice in that it stretches nicely and so will easily accommodate the 6-cell battery which extends out from the back of my netbook. The pocket on the front on the bag is just large enough to squeeze in a mouse and the charging cord for my computer, although it is very "lumpy" when everything is zipped in. It definitely helps to wind up the cord prior to storing it.

One of the nicest features of the bag is the handle. It is a well-built double handle that offers a secure way to carry the computer. This case would be perfect for any of the 10.1" netbooks.

This sleeve is superior to most because:

1) It is made by Caselogic (they make excellent accessories for computer items such as flash drives, memory cards, CD books and so much more. I have owned their product for several years and they are of superb quality. Hence I bought this and am delighted.

2) The outside pocket is a very big reason I bought this case and it holds: My mini retractable mouse, small mouse pad, and a small pouch with my flash drives.

Note that the power cord is somewhat bulky inside this sleeve, however, I fixed this problem by slipping my sleeve inside my ziptop briefcase and place the power cord inside the inside inner pocket. Then I am all set to go!

Also I found that this case has excellent padding for my Acer Aspire One netbook and am very pleased with it.

I recently bought one of these cases to try out on my new Toshiba Mini NB205-N330BN 10.1-Inch Sable Brown Netbook, which has the infamous "9-Hour Battery Bulge", making it difficult to fit in some standard cases. It fits perfectly. The case is small, and I confess to feeling a little self-conscious at times because of its similarity to a purse, but the neoprene protection is fantastic, and the stretchiness allows you to easily fit an additional mouse and/or power pack in the front pocket. Although it does look pretty lumpy when you do that.

It's such a solid build that I honestly don't think I'll ever need another one -- it really does feel like it's built to last. It's good enough that I immediately ordered one for my girlfriend, one for my mom, and one for my stepdad who all have Toshiba NB205 netbooks. - Notebook Sleeve - Case - Acer Aspire One - Netbook'
