Led Backlight - hdtv, 1080p

I have owned four HDTVs, and this is my 3rd brand. I really love this TV. It is the only one that I haven't had to calibrate the picture because it is beautiful with the factory settings. The picture looks great for Blu-ray and PS3 gaming. It also looks great for over-the-air television channels, so it handles the high quality HD and low quality HD equally well.

I purchased this TV because it exceeds Energy Star 4.0 standards, and Vizio has a great reputation for making TVs that last (unlike Samsung, which is a brand that I replaced when BOTH of my Samsung TVs stopped working). This is also the only American brand, which all things being equal (and actually, they aren't because this TV outperforms other brands in my humble opinion) is a nice bonus for this purchase. VIZIO M420NV 42-inch Class Edge Lit Razor LED LCD HDTV 120 Hz

The delivery was very fast and it was deliveered by two persons, not one, so I had help to bring the package into the room in front of its final location. Believeme, at 74 years old this counts for a lot.

The installation was much simpler than with the older sets I have purchased. It needed no adjustment, the picture came up sharp and clear.

The Vizio uses less than 1/3 the amount of electricity as the older, smaller set did. The picture is very bright and very sharp. It is also clear from a very wide angle (which was a surprise as well). My last , older Vizio, had faded or messed up picture when viewd from too sharp an angle, not this one.

It also delivers a good picture in a bright , sunlit room.

I just obtained this model VIZIO HDTV a week ago, and am thoroughly satisfied with its performance in several media. HDTV with stereo sound via Comcast is stunning; DVDs (I don't have blueray) very good, as are VHS played on an ancient (1980's) Sharp. Haven't tried showing photos via USB or running laptop media yet, but it's nice to have this capability. According to my pre-purchase research, the three best quality HDTV manufacturers in the US market at the moment are LG, Samsung and VIZIO. VIZIO provided the best LED value for my money.

This TV exceeds all my expectations!! Beautiful picture. It is VERY user friendly and exceptionally easy to set up. The operating manual actually makes sense! We were up and running in no time! I did a lot of investigation before purchasing this TV. I narrowed it down to this brand and a Sony. This one happened to be on sale and the price was too good to be true for the quality and size of this TV. I had never even heard of VIZIO before, now I'm recommending it to everyone!

This is my 4th HDTV, and my 3rd Vizio (one returned), so I think I can write a worthwhile review.

This replaces my 4 year old 37 inch Magnavox HDTV. Was very pleased with it. No problems. Still sharp picture. However, the color was no longer vibrant. Moved it to a spare room for Wii play. I think LCD TVs are good for 4 years max - due to color fading. To be clear, color fading is tolerable in the kitchen TV, and bedrooms, but not in my main TV.

I am satisfied with my one year old 32 inch Vizio kitchen LCD HD, and went with Vizio again.

Since I was going from 37 to 42 inches, and have a glass stand, I wanted a light TV. This weighs under 40 pounds, with stand.

Easy to handle. The base had a single screw (directions said 4, not true), which you hand tighten. Easy installation. The Magnavox base was difficult to install. Had to call their tech support for help.

These come with a good instruction manual, and are very easy to setup. Sound is good. Picture, very good in HD, good in standard. Soon, all programs will be in HD. Blu Ray discs look great, as do sports events and movies.

Purchased at my local warehouse club, as their extended contract pricing is very low. I have had surge damage, on several occasions, and buy these warranties to protect against that. Great price for a TV less than 2 inches thin.

I *finally* broke down and purchased an HDTV. Before making the decision on which tv to buy, I researched brands, viewed friends/family's tvs, sought out other reviews. And the Vizio Razor Edge LED LCD won out.

And after a couple of weeks, I can honestly say that I could not be HAPPIER.

Although it was a bit fuzzy at first (making me fear that I had made the wrong choice), after approximately 40 hours of run time, the tv callibrated itself into the clearest, sharpest screen I have ever viewed.

Yet, I must say that my FAVORITE feature has to be the thickness (or lack thereof, I should say) of this television. After living a lifetime with those outdated, "pregnant" back televisions, I love that, although larger screen size, it takes up less space - really opening up a room. (Which I'm sure will only improve much more when we finish remodeling and transfer to a wall mount.)

Remote: super easy to program for DVD players, Wii. (Was already fully functional for a Charter digital cable box)

Side USB ports are wonderfully convenient for hooking up computer, camera, or flash drive. Just plug in and go.

While it may seem a little pricier compared to other brands of the same size, it offers more features, has superb quality, and is recommend not only by me but by numerous other reviewers. - 42 Inch Lcd - 1080p - Led Backlight - Hdtv'

Canon Digital Camera - neoprene, dslr case

I used this case for my Nikon D5000 during a trip to Italy. I wanted a slim case so that I could carry the camera around in my purse and avoid looking like a tourist with an extra bag advertising the fact that I had an expensive camera. The case worked out perfectly. It protected the camera very well and fit snugly. It was fairly easy to get the camera in and out of the case quickly. I am extremely happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it! USA Gear DuraNeoprene dSLR FlexArmor for Nikon, Canon EOS, and Sony Alpha Digital SLR Cameras

i'm using this case for a canon XSi, and so far its great. it keeps the camera safe from bumps and scratches. if you want a case to seal a camera, or keep dust out completely, this isnt the case for you, on the sides (where the camera strap is) there are gaps, obviously for the strap, but if outside in the dust, there's a chance dust could get on the camera. however, i very much like the feel of the case, if any of you have felt the neoprene cases for macbooks or macbook pros, its similar, though not quite as form-fitting.

Pros: lightweight, carry anywhere and everywhere, protects from bumps, scratches and dings. nice to hold, nice to feel.

Cons: not dust, or water, proof. wont protect camera from shoulder-height falls.

if you're just looking for a case to keep the camera in, get it. if you'd prefer a solid case to protect from falls, consider another bag.

I'm pretty rough with my cameras, I usually don't carry bag if I can get away with it, which means just me and my camera. A lot of times though, my camera gets bumped into walls or other things when I'm turning around quickly or just not paying attention. I also tend to have my camera sitting on the passengar seat and a few times I've slammed on the brakes and it's gone flying and now it's got some dings. I looked into the rubberized armor but wasn't really feeling it, then I found this flex sleeve. It has snaps so you can get your camera out fast and it can attach to your belt loop so you dont have to put it around. It's super light weight and it protects my camera really well from those little bumps and dings. I wish i had gotten this earlier! absolutely perfect if you don't want to carry a case but still protect your camera.

Just got a new Canon 60D and this flexible neoprene case would work great but it just doesn't fit over the 60D camera body. The 18-135mm lenses just fits but the body doesn't let the case close. So I will have to return it. I had gathered from all the prior reviews that it might be tight but actually the body must be very different from the Canon T1 and T2 series. Yes, the neoprene is thin but I think it would have done the job I wanted if it just fit right.

This is a great product if you want a sleek protective covering for your camera. I use it when I carry my camera in my messenger bag and don't want to carry my alternate case. It also serves well to protect the lcd screen while walking with the camera around my neck. I have a Canon T2i with a Tamron 18-270mm lens and it fits tightly but not too tight. Neoprene is pretty thin but does offer some protection to bumps. I would recommend this as a secondary case for your camera.

Fits perfectly as if its made personalized for my SLR camera. If you have a Nikon D90 and a 18-200mm lens or know its dimensions, Then this is a nice and perfect camera case for you. Instead of laying your precious SLR anywhere at home or outdoor barenaked when not in use this is very helpful in dust, dirt, spills, mild bumps and scratch protection. This is a neoprene as it clearly says, dont expect high protection from it like impact, This is not the case you want to strap in your belt and go walking, this is not a drop proof! Or puting your precious SLR camera in it and just throwing it in your backseat thinking its alright. Buy this and get a more sturdy, hard case that you can use for travel with high impact protection and your set! My camera with this on can even fit in my Camera backpack for travel without modifying the places of its contents. Im satisfied with this product and I highly recommend this product for comfort and additional protection for your camera.

I purchased this case for my Canon T1i. It fits my Camera really snug, even with the added 17-85mm lens, and that is great. It has the same type of neoprene that other cases have, and it is thin. It is NOT meant for total protection, but rather a nice guard over your exposed camera.

It's a good way to protect your camera, toss it in your bag (not literally) and go, without having so much weight and bulk added.

As many have mentioned, the belt loop is NOT for holding your camera. and the manufacturer clearly states that. It is meant to just attach to your belt while you are using your camera.

I carry a messenger bag to work every day, and wanted to carry my dSLR without putting it at risk from the other items in the bag. When I first picked up this insert, I was carrying a Canon Rebel XTi (400D) and have since upgraded to a Canon 60D. Because it's stretchy neoprene, this cover fits both cameras even with my somewhat bulky 24-105mm lens attached. The lens and camera body are both fully covered and protected with this cover, and it's easy to remove when I'm ready to take the camera out and use it. With the cover on my camera, I don't have any worries about tucking it in my bag with a can of soda and a lunch container (as long as they're both well sealed) and other odds and ends.

As other reviewers stated, it's not water proof, and the "belt attachement" on the bottom isn't strong enough to attach to a belt while the cover is on the camera, but I wasn't looking for either of those features, so I'm not deducting anything for the rating. - Protection - Canon - Neoprene - Dslr Case'

8gb Mp3 Player - fm radio, mp3 player

I have been using ths device for about 3 weeks already, and the following are the pro's and con's I encountered while using this device:

Pros:

-Cheap

-looks good, nice sleek and proffessional design

-nice UI interface

-radio

-battery life (all day non-stop playing and quick charge)

-light and slim

Cons:

- horrible headphones (no ear bud broke within an hour of first using it, the other 3 weeks after), but average sound quality. Recommend buying separate durable ear buds.

- Takes a few seconds too load and shut down, but this is a minor inconvenience.

-Organization, if you are looking for a specific song, you must either know the album, or know the order. Haven't tried other mp3 players before, but it is not that fluid. Feels like you are looking at your songs folder in your computer. (no search function)

-Video ( can only accept a really low quality format (.MTV), which you need a video converter for 99% of all of your video files, which is nearly impossible to find a good one. At the end, it will not be worth it converting.

-Pictures, really low quality, looks like something out of an old cellphone or gif.

Conclusion: If you are looking for a simple, cheap, straight forward mp3 player, I recommend getting this. If you want something extra, look for something else. Coby 1.8 Inch Video MP3 Player with FM, 8 GB Flash Memory MP620-8GBLK (Black)

I bought this to replace my other coby. I like it. Very light wich surprised me and good picture and i just dropped it and it still works which is a plus.

Pros

-easy to read

-easy music transfer

-portable

-sounds awsome especially with skull candies

- puts your music in order and even has album/artist order as well

Cons (nothing big)

- hard to find music when you have alot since you only have a push button but just hold it and it goes by kinda fast

- when you want to search for a new song you have to start from the beginning everytime which sucks but o well

- takes a few seconds to turn on and shut off but aging no biggie

Over all, good player and is well recomended

Sound quality is great. Good battery life. Very light and thin. Has a nice little screen, and rubber backing. Loads of features for [...] bucks (normally retails for [...] - rightly so), and nice 4 gigs of capacity! Obviously it's not an ipod touch, but I'd take this over a classic ipod or ipod shuffle/nano ANY DAY.. I also like that I don't have to feel like I'm handling glass when I use it. I owned an ipod touch, and I was almost afraid to handle it because it felt so delicate. This product actually feels light and durable. Also, it makes for a great flash drive, as well as having excellent reception in the FM tuner.. I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants a good mp3 player at a great price.

This review is meant to be helpful for potential buyers. I aimed to get an MP3 player that would play mp3s and audio books, while I was traveling; I was not making an investment in buying a showy new mobile device. The product first arrived on time. The packaging was great. Tightly sealed and protected. Most importantly the product did what I wanted it to do. The sound quality was decent. I didn't have much of a problem uploading audio tracks onto the device, but then again that might vary depending on one's familiarity with technology. It's fairly easy, taking about 4 steps. Any concerns about not getting what one pays for: this would have to include the radio function. It didn't work very well in doors for me. It's antenna must not be that big. For me that's fine since I don't plan on using it much. I think that the functionality and price match the product. I do not feel as though I was gipped in any way when making this purchase.

I was definitely not up with the times. I finally decided to get an MP3 player. I honestly knew nothing about them. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and make a mistake so I chose this one. For $30, if it didn't work well, it wouldn't be too much of a big deal. To tell you the truth I didn't really have much faith in this player's quality, because it wasn't an expensive brand or an Apple Ipod. I really wasn't expecting much.

When it arrived I have to admit I was excited to get started. I had loads of songs I wanted to hear that I didn't have on cd. I felt like a kid in a candy store. At first, I found a site I could buy MP3's from and tried to get my songs on the device. Since this was my first time uploading songs on an MP3 player I didn't know what I was doing and had lots of trouble. The directions it came with were not very helpful to me because of my ignorance with technological things. Finally after fiddling around for over an hour I finally figured it out. I bet a lot of you are thinking I am a real dummy, lol!

All I can say is I am thrilled!! This little piece of machinery is amazing to say the least. Once you get the knack, it is so easy to download your songs and add them to the playlist. When I saw how easy it was to upload songs from my computer to the device, I felt stupid for not figuring out how to do it sooner.

I bought a mini stereo cable and connected it to the headphone jack and the other end to my stereo's audio jack and I was pleasantly surprised at how loud and clear it sounds with my stereo system. The earbuds it comes with are a little uncomfortable and hurt my ears, so I am using my Sony Walkman's head phones and it is much more comfortable. My husband and 9 year old daughter liked this device so much, they want their own too. I will buy two more and highly recommend this item. It is well made and looks expensive too.

Thank you Coby for making a high quality, great sounding, good looking device for such a low price. - Cheap Mp3 Player - Fm Radio - Mp3 Player - 8gb'

Our original car charger for our Garmin GPS was damaged and we needed a replacement quickly. I found this item on Amazon, and ordered it on Tue., June 23. Amazon sent me an email saying this item would arrive after June 29! The well-packaged charger was at my home shipped by USPS, 11:30 am on Thu., June 25, less then 48 hours after I ordered it. The company is on the west coast; I am on the east coast. This company gets 5 stars for super fast service. And yes, the charger has been working perfectly. Thank you!

Update: Nov.25, 2009 -- Still working very well.

UPDATE: May 5, 2010 -- No problems. Still works very well.

Update: Nov.22-10 -- Still working perfectly fine.

UPDATE; May 21, 2011 -- Still works perfectly. Garmin Nuvi Charger City Car Charger Power Adapter Cord

I purchased the Garmin Nuvi car charger/power adapter via Amazon, from Charger City, in April 2010. Please note, the device was not manufactured by Garmin, but allegedly designed to work with a Garmin product. It arrived promptly, but didn't work. It was not functional right out of the box. However, I have to give kudos to the customer service dept. They were polite (via email), promptly refunded my purchase price, and arranged for me to return the defective item at no cost to me.

This Garmin charger NEVER WORKED! Waste of Money, stay AWAY...! Don't get carried away by the looks and the price. I read some bad reviews about it but still ordered it considering the price, my mistake :-(

I first bought one (blue) for my husband. We were both impressed with the thickness, stickiness, and extra length. I immediately ordered a red mat for myself, and am very pleased. I have a sensitive nose, and did not find the new mat smell offensive, just smelled a bit like rubber at first. The scent was gone after a couple of uses. Much better price than what I have seen in yoga studios. Bean Products Yoga Mat 1/4" Extra Thick High Density 72" Length - Clean PVC (TM) Phthalate Free PER - Black

Since I am 5'11", I LOVED that this mat was extra long. I can finally fit all the way on the mat and not be hanging off of one end! I know many people said it was smelly or slippery, but I did not have that problem. I followed the instructions (unroll the mat and let it air out, then wipe it down) and didn't have any smell or "slippage." I really do like this mat. I can see how some do not like the thickness, but I think that is all in what you prefer (I like the extra cushion it provides).

I love my yoga mat. I ordered it in Royal Purple and the color looks pretty nice and as pictured. I had light bruises on my knees from doing Yoga on a rug but this mat took care of them. It is just thick enough where my feet and hands leave a slight imprint but not so thick that it feels like I'm sinking in. Some people complained about the smell of the mat but it was very faint on mine and I have to admit I kind of like it. It's just the smell of the material--sort of metallic and rubbery? No big deal you may not even notice it. Buy this mat!

I ordered 10 of these mats to supply a new yoga class I'm teaching.

On the whole, they are perfectly reasonable mats for occasional use. They had a mild rubber smell, which wore off quickly. They provide a good degree of padding and reasonable slip resistance. Certainly doesn't compete with a higher end jade or manduka mat, but this is a great price point for something that doesn't have any big problems.

The extra length is a big bonus for taller practitioners and surprising to find at this price.

They provide a little more padding/springiness than I might recommend for an intermediate or advanced practitioner. If you practice frequently, it is probably worth splurging on something more specialized.

If you tend to sweat heavily and/or practice in a hot room, you'll probably need a towel or a practice rug to throw on top of it.

I really love my mats (yes, I have more than 1) and recommend my friends to purchase this one. Good long length, bright happy colors, and you cannot beat the price...why spent a large chunk of change on something that either you get bored with using, gouge out tiny holes with your toenails as you transition from up-dog to down-dog, and with something that after a certain amount of time, you just got to replace for germs, dirt, sweat, and everyday crud? I like that I got good quality, variety colors, thick, long yoga mats that (for the price) cannot be beat!

This mat sucks. Thick sure, but it has no stickyness to it. I don't even do hot yoga, but it is warm in the room and I was sliding ALL over it. I had to put towels down. Also, it's thickness is weird. It kind of molds to your hands and feet so when you try to reposition, you sink back into where you were. This mat is cheap for a reason. Beware.

This yoga mat is very good.I am happy to buy this one.

Initially gives some latex smell, but it goes after certain usage.

Had to pay less for such a wonderful yoga mat.The thickness is appropriate too:)Recommended!!!'

Fiber Optic Cable - cables, home theater

The cable is of good quality and the wires are well shielded... BUT here's the catch and why it lost a coupe of stars.

The connectors on both ends are just about a millimeter too thick, so they did not snap into my Samsung TV and my sound system but just fine on my other TV. It just depends on what you are connecting it too.

The fix is easy though - just shave off the top (grey) part of the connector a little with a knife and the cable snaps right in. I have no complaints with it otherwise. Just needed a couple of minutes of extra work on it. Belkin PureAV Digital Optical Audio Cable (12 Feet)

These cables are a bargin -- work great and at a fraction of the cost. I just wish I would have ordered two extra cables instead of one! Some of the new game boxes can take advantage of the optical links to output audio to my home theater system.

The only problem I had with this optical wire was that typically when connecting this type of wire into a socket it will "click" in, though I have tried testing it in my personal sound system, my xbox 360, and my living room home theater system and it seems to have a very loose fit, maybe I got the wrong size? Though I assumed all optical wires had the same shape and size etc.

Other than that it still transfers perfectly fine. I would have just liked a little more stabilization in the ends.

I purchased this cable on November 12th, 2010. 3 days ago (April 10th, 2011) it started shorting out. It hasn't been moved since purchase. It is attached firmly to my DVR and my receiver. I tested my DVR with a separate digital optical cable and it worked fine. I then tested my blu-ray player with this digital optical cable and, as with my DVR, the sound went in and out. The problem is definitely the cable.

Prior to April 10th, I would have given this cable a 5 out of 5. It sounds great when it's working and it's sold at a great price. But even at this low price, a cable should last more than 5 months. Maybe I just ended up getting a dud. Either way, it worked for 5 months and then it didn't, and that's disappointing.

Got this to use with XBOX 360 so I could listen to the surround sound audio while playing games (this was before I had an HDTV so HDMI wasn't an option at the time and I had the older XBOX 360 w/out HDMI out). The 12 ft length is great...makes component placement a breeze because I know I will always have enough cable to easily reach my receiver. The cable feels well made but is still flexible enough to be practical but I wouldn't make 90 degree bends with it (or with any cable for that matter) though!

Just an FYI: this cable can transfer 6 channels of audio. 5 for the surround sound plus 1 for the subwoofer. The two main formats are DTS and Dolby Digital. Both of these formats are discrete (separate) 5.1 surround sound meaning that each speaker has its own audio channel. The newer Blu-ray lossless formats are higher quality version and cannot be transmitted through this cable.

NOTE: A "Surround Sound" System isn't surround sound just because it comes with a lot of speakers! You need the receiver to be getting audio digital audio (encoded in a surround format) for the receiver to play true surround sound...The standard red and white RCA cables will not do it...

(I know there are some analog fans out there that run 5.1 or even 7.1 with their SACD or DVD Audio or Blu-ray players via multi-channel RCA's....but you guys are about 1% of the population...AND if you are a die-hard analog fan, you probably aren't reading this review haha. You can also run discrete surround sound from a computer via analog cables and a nice sound card....but most nice sound cards also offer digital output...or an extra piece you can buy that adds digital output!)

If for some reason you need to use this cable with your Blu-ray player/receiver it will work with Blu-ray discs...it just uses the older DTS or Dolby Digital format rather than the DTS Master Audio or the Dolby True HD formats. It will still be surround sound and will still sound good...just not as good as the loss-less formats.

ANYWAY, if you need to hook up surround sound and don't need/don't have an HDMI cable, this will work! There is no difference between the optical cables vs. the digital coax....it just depends on what technology the equipment manufacturer chose to use. Some people will argue that the optical cable is better for longer runs (50+ ft) but I doubt it/who has 50 ft cable runs?? Also, the protective covers for the ends are great when the cable is not in use.

This optical cable arrived and works as advertised. Much cheaper than other options. Contrary to other reviews, there was no problem with the compatability of this cable with my Samsung LN55C650 TV and Sony STRDE-945 amplifier optical inputs. The cable snapped securely into both pieces of equipment without modification. (Other reviewers stated that the cable did not fit their Samsung tv's). The cable also securely snapped into the optical audio output from my media center computer. I like the optical end covers that are attached to the cables to protect the ends when not in use. Other cables have had removable caps which I have since lost. At least I know where the caps are now! - Fiber Optic Cable - Cables - Home Theater - Optical'
