I bought these for the vcr/dvd player I ordered as suggested by Amazon.com. Surprise! The vcr/dvd player came with a set, but this set was much nicer, heavier duty looking, so I used them instead and put the others away. Cables To Go 40448 Value Series RCA Type Audio Video Cable (6 Feet, Black)
This is the basic audio (R/L) and single (yellow) video cable for connection to various (probably older) components. The price was good and nice to have available for those quick, easy, yet, reliable (test) connections. If you're in need of this type of cable, this is where to get it for a reasonable cost from Cables to Go.
I have my game consoles hooked up to the Sima SVS-14 4 Input Manual A/V Selector, and then I purchased these cables to hook the A/V switcher box to my TV. The cable length was just right being at 6ft -- not too short and not too long. The quality of the cable is unbelievable being at such a low price. The cables are somewhat thick, but they feel very sturdy and durable. What else can you say about these cables? They do the job intended.
I enjoy listening to a system with good sound and watching a T.V. with a clear picture. I bought these to go from my T.V. (old tube TV) to my Western Digital TV Hub (WDTV) and I could not be happier. The picture is great and the sound is perfect. Someday I'll upgrade to HDMI, but until then, these will do just fine!
The cables (bought 3) were a great value as they were purchased with other items for free shipping. Surprised by the very heavy construction and excellent quality. Compared to the overpriced cables in the discount stores, these a far away a much better deal. These replaced the cables on older tv's and vcr's without the cable connection and resulted in a noticeable clearer picture.'
