Rain Jacket - cycling, bicycle accessories
These pants do it all. They keep you dry under any conditions. You could literally jump in water and your shorts or pants underneath will be dry once you get out. They dont breathe however so if the sun starts shining while you have these on. You'll start sweating. They break wind if your riding a bike, so wind doesn't go through the pant. They keep you really warm. Good solid material obviously, (columbia). I am from Oregon so its great to represent Columbia.Good overall pants for the price. These are like 40 bucks at REI. Just so you know Columbia Men's Shelter Cover Pant,Black,XL
I commute to work on my bike and these pants keep me dry in heavy rain. They are big and long and have slits in the sides with a snap so you can get to the pockets in your pants underneath. The elastic waist makes them easy to get on and off.
These are your basic PVC rain pants, with the welcome addition of button-up diagonal slits for accessing your front pockets. The slits also provide some welcome ventilation, because PVC doesn't breathe worth jack, but there are few other options that are truly rain-impermeable, and none whatsoever in this price range. Picking the Columbia-branded ones were a no-brainer; their clothing is almost invariable the best in their price range and they have phenomenal customer service. Buy without fear.
These are very nice rain pants. They are easy to take on and off over your pants and have enough "extra" material to cover your ankles. I used them the other day in a driving rain and returned home nice and dry.
I bought this product through Amazon thinking they would help keep me dryer and they did to a degree but not as much as expected ( or for the price paid). I wash dishes at a restaurant and I was still pretty wet after wearing the pants and also if not wet from the outside the pants make you sweat whereby you still will be wet. Ventillation not good for skin to breath. So i wouldn't recommend this product if one wants to stay dry unless it is for a quick walk in the rain or something to that affect. - Rain Pants - Bicycle Accessories - Rain Gear - Cycling'
