Office Supplies - inkjet printer ink, c88

Have not used this cartridge so I am not rating this re-manufactured ink cartridge for its print quality. My rating reflects my dissatisfaction with this vendors deceptive advertising. This vendor is selling re-manufactured cartridges and most people wouldn't know it by looking at the items web page. What I have learned, if the item description doesn't say OEM it isn't an Epson manufactured ink cartridge. I think if a vendor is selling re-manufactured ink cartridges it should be in the item description! Some will say the price should tell you it is not OEM but a lot of vendors list a low price to draw customers and then recoup there losses with an elevated shipping cost! Epson Black Ink Cartridge (T060120)

After retiring my ancient HP Deskjet500C for an Epson C88; I was amazed how long a cartridge lasts and most amazing was the quality of the printout was excellent up to the last drop of ink! Most of my printing is genealogy research related, and though high quality is not necessary, I still need a decent copy. I print using Draft Mode, most of the time, and still, the quality and readablility are highly satisfactory. I have copy and pasted old family photos directly into snail mail (Typed using MS Word)and using the color image/text setting. I about fell over when I saw the print out. The photo's were amazingly clear - and they were printed on standard letter sized paper. No bleeding through to the other side, practically dry as soon as they left the printer. Using draft mode extends the life of the ink cartride and produces satisfactory copy. High quality printing produces a bright, crisp looking document. I am so pleased with these ink cartridges and highly recommend them - and the Epson C88.

The Epson Black Ink Cartridge is a fine companion to my Epson Stylus CX4200 printer. I've only used genuine Epson ink with this printer, since I'm cautious about keeping the printer in working condition. I placed an order for 3 cartridges from SourceofInk.com, which had a promotion on this item in June 2009 of Buy 3 Get 1 Free. Despite the item description clearly indicating that an Epson T060120 was the product, I received 3 GE-T0601Bk cartridges from MMC, and a random EMPTY, unsealed cartridge by MMC that was an entirely different model. I contacted SourceofInk immediately and they said they never carried the Epson T060120 cartridges (though it is clearly indicated in their posting, and nowhere in the product title or description does it mention they are actually selling a generic version). They agreed to give me a full refund, and did not ask me to return the generic cartridges. I found this to be a shady business practice and have not tried the MMC generic cartridges.

Again however, the Epson black ink works fine, though it runs out quickly (maybe 100-150 sheets).

I ordered the Epson Black Ink Cartridge - T060120, form e2802r. Don't Buy this product. What I received was a compatiable ink cartridge replacement, xp-60. They advertised the OEM with pictures and the original T060120 logo. They will replace the original and send you compatiables.

Would not recommend store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just received an Epson Stylus C88. Print quality is good but I only made 2 mostly black printouts and the black cartridge was down by 1/3 of its capacity. It looks like the printer gobbles up quite a bit of ink when it is first installed. Now I will find out how long the rest of the cartridge lasts.

Excellent prices at Amazon for color and black inks.

I tried recycled ink cartridges once, and it was a complete waste of money. There are some things you just can't skimp on, and ink is one of them. (However, you CAN save money.. by ordering from Amazon. I used to order directly from Epson, but no more.)

The quality of this ink is really first-rate. It never looks faded, blotchy or uneven; my inkjet printer prints like a laser. This is especially important when you're using it for online postage, because the barcode needs to be scanned. These cartridges also last a long time.

I have an Epson Stylus CX4800 All-in-One (printer, copier, scanner), and while there are cheaper ink cartridges available, like refilled or remanufactured ones, I prefer to purchase the Epson brand to make sure it's compatible with my printer. I go through ink pretty quickly, so I've compared the prices of major online retailers/office suppliers, and found Amazon.com to have the best prices. So far, I have not had any problems: the cartridges fit, and my printer has no problem recognizing them; as soon as my printer is done reading the new cartridge, it updates my ink supply level to full.

A certain office suppy store promised: "We match any price you find on the internet!" Phooey! I took Amazon.com's listing for this product to the office supply store, and they revised their promise to say it includes only stores that are NOT "virtual only" such as Amazon. Shop around - you will get the best price at Amazon for the name brand product. I'm convinced and I wll be back! - Ink - Black Ink - C88 - Inkjet Printer Ink'
