Ipad Stylus Pen - ipad, touch screen stylus

Ok.... first let me say, I am still *new* to the whole "touch-screen" generation. I just recently got an Android Smartphone (touch screen). I do not have the slimmest fingers. Every time I "typed" or "swyped" using my finger, I was off a digit/number or two. I knew I needed a stylus - not only because of my chubby fingers, but because I'd rather have a pen-like device to write with. It's cleaner.

So I headed on over to Best Buy, only to find that they only carried ((1)) stylus (the Targus Stylus for Ipad) that was capacitive. I bought it, only to find that the tip of that stylus is just as wide, if not wider, than my own finger! What a disappointment. This was the best they could do? I would have preferred to use the Nintendo DS stylus', but they're not "capacitive" so they don't work with my LG Optimus phone. :(

I came on here in search of a stylus that had a fine tip (or at least a tip smaller than my finger!) I am disappointed that they do not make a tip that is similar to that of a pen in capacitive form (or at least, I couldn't find it) BUT - I am delighted to say that this stylus tip is indeed smaller and does what I need it to do. I like that it is long and sleek like a pen, and I especially love that the tip is "finer" than the standard stylus tip. My only complaint is that it's a little spongey when pressing down, so you do have to press a little more firmly... but then I checked the Targus stylus and it's the same with that one too (so that's just how they make capacitive stylus' I guess).

I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something a little more streamlined than their fingertip! Until they make a capacitive stylus tip that is essentially the width of a pen tip.... this is definitely a great one currently on the market. I will be uploading several pictures that I took to demonstrate the comparative size of this stylus next to a Targus stylus, and one of those pics also includes a pen with a medium point. Hope this helps someone!!! AYL (TM) Newest Generation Slim Capacitive iPad Stylus with 1 YR Warranty (Metallic Silver)

I first bought a Pogo and a Boxwave stylus and it worked well but the feeling of it when writing on the iPad was odd. So I read reviews online and found the AYL slim stylus and it is night and day compared with the other stylus pens. The AYL slim is more comfortable, more precise, longer, thinner and much smoother then the other pens that I have tried. I highly recommend it and have bought both the black and silver color for my family.

I have used many stylus pens over the last couple of years and this one is the best! Slim soft tip, barely need to touch window, great for swiping or typing. This is the latest technology I have found to date. Good for iphones or androids. Amazon sells this for a good price and the shipping was quick!

It works well and keeps the finger prints off the screen. I thought it would be a pain to keep track of, but the plastic plugin that goes into the 3.5 mm jack port keeps things together that and I use the pocket clip to clip it to the iPad cover. I think I find it faster to type with this than two hands (not easy to do on an iPad). I have dropped it more than once to no ill effect.

The stylus has a good feel and is not short like some other styluses (ie BoxWare), it is the normal length of a pen. I like the smaller rubber tip (about 5mm rather than the normal 8mm), as it allows for more precision.

The tip is made of rubber (not foam like a few are) and protrudes out of the metal pen enough that it can be used at an angle so you can see what you're doing on the screen.

Occasionally when tapping lightly, the iPad will not read the touch and I have to retap with the stylus but all in all the stylus works good. I cannot vouch for the durability as I've only had it a short while, but it seems like it will have a good useful life.

I got it to play Plants vs Zombies with so that my hand didn't constantly cover the screen, and it works like a charm. Also it works well with Penultimate as a note taking stylus.

Lastly AYL appears to be have great customer service as they have a one year warranty and inserted a card asking me to contact them if I am not satisfied in any way.

This is my first stylus purchase so i can't be too hard. I have been debating on a stylus purchase for a long time and finally made the leap. To me this stylus is OK and does was it is supposed to do. It's a bit lite and the tip is a little flimsy. While writing it seems to work better when the stylus is more horizontal than vertical so its hard to write and not bump your arm/palm onto the screen. I probably wont be buying another from a different company, as this one should do just fine. All an all i think i would suggest this product to another. all stylus are probably all the same in the long run. - Ipad - Ipad Accessories - Ipad Stylus - Touch Screen Stylus'
