I read the reviews of the other Coby products but thought since this was a newer version that the kinks would have been worked out. I took it out of the box and plugged it in to the wall. It worked fine that time. Then I hooked it up in my car, and the second monitor wouldn't work. There was only sound and no picture. I'm going to spend the extra money and get a better brand. We bought this to use on vacation for the kids and I'm so glad I got it in time to check it out before we left! I won't bother with anymore Coby products. Coby TFDVD7752 7-Inch Portable DVD Player
This DVD player system is a good deal for the money. We have used it on several trips with no issues.
Some drawbacks are needing to take it out of the headrest mount to change disks and a shared Video In/Out.
I would recommend this system to someone wanting a system for occasional use.
We have had this unit for 2 years now and has it is still running well. It has lasted longer than any other portable DVD unit that we have bought in the past. We did have to change the fuse once in the cord, but other than that no issues. It is heavily used with our long drives and no hiccups yet. Would definitely buy again.'
