Based on some other reviews here I wanted to avoid BlueProton and tried to purchase through seller "Everything But Stromboli" but at the time it was not available through that store. I saw in the merchant feedback section that BlueProton had received some good reviews in recent days for this item so I went ahead and ordered through BlueProton/Fulfilled by Amazon.
I received it very fast, earlier than estimated, and it appeared to be a genuine unopened SanDisk-branded cardboard/blister pack display item with the small plastic reuseable snap container (jewel case) holding the card, and "SanDisk" is clearly printed on the card itself. As described, this pkg contained only the card - no USB adapter, lanyard, etc., which I didn't want anyway, but when I ordered last week some of those extras were available free via BlueProton special offers if you wanted them.
Just a little more info on the package contents, since there seems to be some variability depending on the seller and what they happen to be shipping at the time: The included "eMusic insert" mentioned in the Product Description was a $10 "eMusic Card." Although not mentioned in the description, my package also happened to include another insert with a password to access a download of SanDisk's Media Manager software for PCs, for managing music and photo transfers between your phone and PC.
The card itself was preformatted FAT32 and totally blank out of the package. I installed it today in my Droid Milestone, and it couldn't have been easier:
1. copy contents of original 8 GB card to my PC (Windows XP Pro)
2. copy contents from PC to new 32 GB card using USB adapter
3. power off phone
4. remove original 8 GB card from phone
5. install new 32 GB card in phone
6. power on phone
Everything on the phone is working just as before except now I have 32 GB instead of 8 - well, technically 29.7 - 31.9 GB depending on how you read XP's disk properties info, and the phone itself detects a capacity of 29.71 GB. (I believe the FAT32 file system requires some space which is why available capacity doesn't read exactly 32 GB.) At this point I have only loaded less than 3 GB on the card but so far so good. As of December 2010, SanDisk has updated the Class on SDSDQ-032G-A11M from Class 2 to Class 4.
However, SanDisk is removing any mention of "Class" on non-ULTRA non-EXTREME card retail packaging in order to have the flexibility to package whichever class card the SanDisk factory sees fit. Unfortunately, SanDisk does not believe the average consumer cares about what Class designation is on the memory card, though many consumers do care.
Unfortunately, since SanDisk uses the same P/N and UPC code, there is no way to tell whether Class 2 or Class 4 will ship inside the package. This is compounded by not all vendors and fulfillment centers use FIFO inventory shipping standards and old inventory can persist for a very long time.

I just installed SanDisk 32GB MicroSDHC Card (SDSDQ-032G-A11M, US Retail Package). Purchased the card from Amazon.com with Amazon as the seller. The price was $10 more than other sellers, but I bought it from Amazon for two reasons. First, I know I can return it if it doesn't work. Second, the card has been out of stock from Amazon for a couple of weeks, so I was confident that I would get a Class 4 card that was recently manufactured, not a Class 2 card that had been in inventory for months. Well, lucky me, I did receive a Class 4 card today.
Previously, I owned a 30GB ZuneHD. It was probably my favorite appliance, over my lappie and desktop. I used it everyday and everywhere. My new Samsung Focus i917 was hard to adjust to, as 8GB is not enough space after being used to the ZuneHD. So, I am risking it and trying the microSDHC card.
I will be diligent to post updates today and in the following weeks to keep everyone updated on how well the card is working. I am syncing 34+GB of music, videos, pics, and podcasts right now. Stay tuned for the results. Here's to hoping for flawless performance.

Ok, Two days in and the card has been performing very well. I have had one studder/freeze with a restart. I have had the phone for about three weeks before buying the microsd card and it had frozen/restarted once, so I cannot contribute this behavior to the card.
One note of strange behavior *After installing the card, I wanted to fill it up :) , so I told the Zune software to sync alot of music, podcasts and videos before I went to bed. While syncing througout the night, I could tell the phone had restarted by the bright screen glowing off of the ceiling. And restart it did. I was sleeping most of the time, but I would estimate the phone restated about 10 times throught the night. When I woke up, the phone had 11GB free.
Although there were multiple restarts while filling the card througout the night, like I said, it is going FINE in day to day operations. Promise to update again in a couple days.

Ok. Another week with the card and it has been perfecto. I am very glad I took the plunge and spent almost a benjamin for this. My phone has not had one issue this week, even though it has been filled to 2GB free.
This card has my 100% reccomendation for the Samsung Focus.
UPDATE: I have used the card daily for nearly 30 days. The card works perfectly. I have not had one reset, failure, error code, or problem with the phone. Apps and games load in the same time they did before I installed the card. I am very impressed with my experience. I sure wish Samsung or Microsoft would release a list of supported cards so that everyone could have the great experience I have. Again, I ordered through Amazon, for a few bucks more than the other vendors, but I received a class 4 card. - Microsdhc - Micro Sd - Micro Sdhc - Sandisk'
