Recording Equipment - black, microphone stands
I got this so that we could sing and play instruments at the same time in RockBand, and it works perfectly for that purpose. The fact that it can bend at the top allows us to use it with the drums and the keyboard in addition to the guitars. I paid only $9.99 (not including shipping) for it, so it was great quality for such a low price! Musician's Gear MS-220 Tripod Mic Stand with Fixed Boom Black
Product is great, if your not looking to spend too much and only need something for your home studio this is the perfect. So far this stand has helped me out with a lot of my musical projects and compared to some of the higher priced brands this one is worth every penny. It's compact nature as well as light weight helps making put it away an easy task. It also doesn't take up much room which makes it perfect. This has been one of my best investments thus far!!!!! I suggest buying one if you need a stand that doesn't break the bank.
Fantastic when combine with On Stage MY200 Universal Microphone Clipfor use with Rock Band microphones, which are significantly larger than most professional sized mics. The price is low, and the quality is high. It's a great deal.
For the quite reasonable price I paid for the stand, it is great. The components seem to be well made and the folding legs allow for the stand to be knocked down to a minimum size for easy storage - which is why I chose this over a solid base unit. The weight of the stand with the folding legs is less than if it had a solid cast base, so it is slightly less stable. If you need to do a lot of changing the mic height by adjusting the angle of the boom, some extra weight in the base might be better for stability. A small detraction is that the diameter of the height adjustment nut on the stand could be slightly larger which would give a better grip to tighten the height setting. - Home Recording - Stands - Black - Microphone Stands'
