Tape Worms Dogs Treatment Parasites
I have 2 Alaskan Malamute pups, age 3 months and 3 weeks when I administered this product. They weighed 40 pounds each. One of my pups vomited and I saw a bunch of round worms, alive and crawling all over in the vomit. I was horrfied. Even though the kennel where I bought them from had given them de-wormer all along on a regular bases, they still had worms! I bought them this Sentry de-wormer and it worked like a charm! the next day after I gave them the chewable dewormer, I took them to the vet. On the way home, again the same pup vomited, but all over me! Oh Yuckiiii! I pulled over to the side of the road and really looked at that vomit for signs of worms and they were ALL DEAD! Yah! this stuff worked. The vet did give me more roundworm dewormer to give them in 2 weeks following the dose I had given to them. She told me that about 3 to 4 months old puppies need more dewormer because there are dormant worms in the muscles (I think that is what she said) that hatch out at about that age. I too bought myself some dewormer, 2 different kinds because I figured I cleaned up enough poop and pee from my 2 lovies that I most likely had them too. I used Green Black Walnut complex tincture, and Parastroy v-caps by Nature's Secret. Well....sure enough I had those nasty things too! ( I kept checking my feces too) Another Yuckiiiiii. But now they are gone and both pups and me are healing. I will continue to give my Mals a treatment of dewormer every now and then (myself too!) to keep them healthy. I like this brand and I know it works, easy to give because they are chewable tablets and my 2 pups liked them. Not a problem with them eating it. We recently rescued a German Shepard-Lab puppy from Animal Services, shortly after we adopted her we noticed she had little white worms in her stool. I suspected they were segments of a tapeworm and we bought this medication, within an hour of taking it her diarrhea stopped and she was eating more. A few hours later she was back on the "puppy poop" schedule [at least once every hour] and it was obvious from a distance her stools were laced with dead tapeworms [segments and whole worms]. She's already back to her energetic self and eating more. We're extremely pleased with this product and we're highly recommending it to friends and family. We'll be ordering more again soon!
BROUGHT MY DOG HOME FROM A KENNEL AFTER BEING ON VACATION. I NOTICED RIGHT AWAY HE HAD TAPE WORMS. I WAS IN FLORIDA AWAY FROM MY OWN VET SO I HAD TO DO SOMETHING QUICK. WENT ON LINE TO AMAZON AS I ALWAYS FIND THEM TO BE THE LEAST EXPENSIVE. BOUGHT THIS ITEM AND IT AND HAD IT SHIPPED IN TWO DAYS AND THE ITEM DID THE JOB IN ONE TREATMENT. GREAT WORMER FOR THESE TUFF LITTLE BUGGERS!!!!
I noticed some flat white worms in my oldest dog's stool. I researched it and discovered these were tape worms. They were in every stool for a few days and moving around. I bought this product and waited for it to arrive. My dog is right at the 50 pound mark, so I gave him 2 pills (50 pounds could be either 1 or 2 pills, according to the directions). I checked his stool the next day, and there were no tape worms in it, dead or alive. I've been checking it since then, and they seem to be gone completely.
I have now been making my dogs "smoothies" which I pour on their food everyday. I put carrots, nori sheets, chicken broth, kifir (like yogurt), and pumpkin seeds in my vitamix to make the smoothie. Pumpkin seeds are supposed to be a natural parasite killer, so I'm hoping it will keep the tape worms away for good. Walnuts are supposed to be another natural parasite killer, but I'm hoping the pumpkin seeds will be enough. If not, I'll use these pills again, and I still have some left from this order. They seem to be very effective for tape worms.
The product works, but my poor 4 month old red heeler had some pretty severe side effects. A day after taking the dewormer he vomited until there was nothing left in his stomach to throw up. He also had diarrhea with lots of dead worms and slime in it. He didn't sleep that whole night; I had to take him out frequently, and he mostly just slowly wandered around, dazed. The next morning he vomited only a bit more. He refused to eat food and was incredibly lethargic, but he drank water frequently enough. He pooped a few more times, and it was slime and worms. By the end of the day he was still lethargic and refusing food, so we fed him some high calorie gel and he perked up considerably (tail wagging, moving around more, but not acting normally just yet). He slowly returned to himself over the next few days. Not sure why he had such a violent reaction. He was dewormed a month and a half before using a different brand and he suffered no side effects.
One of our dogs seems to be chronic with the worm problem. We gave him 1/4 of a tablet for two days and the problem was taken care of. We used this product as an alternative to having to invest $250 to get a prescription from our vet. This is one of those rare cases where the product works as well as you hope!
I noticed that my two Golden Retriever (+50 pounds) had worms. I did some research and this product was the most complete and one of the cheapest ones so I decided to give it an opportunity. The problem is that I read "two pills" and assumed two doses, but both pills are for just one dog.
Anyway, I gave one pill to each of them while re-ordering. To my great surprise, the product worked wonderfully anyway. My dogs were checked a bit later and it was confirmed that they had no worms. That's why I'm recommending Sentry.'
