What can I say...it's a staple remover.
You pull staples out with it.
Chances are very good that you're going to tear a bit of paper out with the staple.
Especially if you're archiving old papers and our storage people won't take anything with staples.

Just picture a box that's a 12 x 12 and filled with nothing but stapled papers.
I keep telling myself that this task is very Zen.
Who am I kidding, by the end of the day I'd like to take the box of staple filled irrelevant paperwork and throw it down the street right along with the staple remover.
Anyway....it works...the staple remover that is.
I haven't tried throwing the box down the street but if I do, I'm sure someone will stick it on Youtube for the whole planet to laugh at.

This staple remover reminds me of the Jaws of Life that firemen use to pry open car doors after auto accidents. I don't think this little tool would work on a smashed-in door, but it works great for removing staples. Highly recommended!
This staple remover is the BEST. I've used the quill branded staple removers and it's very cheap and the parts move as I attempt to take a staple out. Swingline makes very good quality products. The staple remover is very sturdy, and is strong enough to take out almost every regular staple (the heavy duty staples need a bit more work.) The material feels like it's made of great quality too. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a normal staple remover.
This little gadget is very handy to have around, it removes stables quickly and easily. It works exactly as advertised. It does not take much strength to operate. My mother uses it even with arthritis in her hands. Certainly makes stable removing easier than other method.
There isn't much you can say about a staple remover other than whether it works or not. It works just as it was designed to do. We have pulled many staples with it so far and it has worked perfectly each time. The price is great and it beats trying to use a knife or screwdriver to pry staples out of large piles of paper that have been stapled together.
Another one of those things which office and homes can't live without. I hate it when people staple things which don't have to be stapled and this is one of those things you need to remove staples. Without a staple remover, it's a laborious process to remove staples, you have to pry open the tines(?) of the staplers and pull them off, but with this, it's a cinch! I haven't tried any of the other ones, but these things are cheap and easy to use. I have half a dozen of them all over the place so they're always handy.
One of those little items that it is not worth a trip to the store for but is really aggravating to not have. Thought I would try Amazon for some office supplies and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and free shipping. Staple puller works pretty good.
This staple remover by Swingline is the perfect, neat and clean way to remove staples from several pages previously stapled together. The product is well made despite its cheap price; it'll last you forever. It takes up very little room and does the job well every time.
Just use the staple remover on the front or top of the staple (the part that is smooth and not the side of the staple that has two edges to it). This should be on the top of the documents that have been stapled together. Use this device to grab hold of the staple using the steel jaws and simply pull up or away from the pages. There you go! The staple comes loose or comes all the way out the first time--and your pages are no longer stapled.
