I was disappointed in this item. I thought I would really like it, based on the appearance. But it's really just a cheap plastic box with fake grass in it that falls apart when you move it around to set it up. The station does not include a cord/outlets. And some chargers plug into extension cords at odd angles,so the grass "sticks up" underneath them. Yes, it's kinda cute and silly. And it's kinda nice that they have a cross piece in the bottom to wrap cords around. But is it worth this much money? Not really. Kikkerland OR08-BK Grass Charging Station, Black
Nice item, but finding a properly sized power cord is frustrating.
The item is ok- looks nice, though is thin plastic. It doesn't seem particularly sturdy (as in, the fake grass being placed on the prop that holds it up. It was frustrating finding a power cord that fits it. The product description is accurate- it tells the size of the product, and that it doesn't include the power supply. For the price, it would be more reasonable if it included the power supply cord. But, overall, a clever charging device.
I like this product to a point.
I was looking for something cute that would hide all the ugly cords and things to all my items that have to charge! This is it! I love how it hides cords and keeps items within easy reach.
However! I have had some of the grass fall out and I would recomend gluing it in place if you just squish your items in the grass as I do.
Also I charge my iPhone, Kindle, and Headset in this patch of grass and I have had trouble with the Kindle just falling out! So Make sure that you have a bit of room if you are charging bigger items!

You will need it and I bought the one above because it has more then just plug room so I can save that space and use the Kindle and iPhone USB charge plugs.
It will help protect your items and help you get into this grass.
PS my Husband did NOT want this for his nightstand...
I love this product. I bought 2 to sit on my counter as I was tired of the messy looking cables/phones/cameras sitting around. I bought the white base. It looks real, in fact, I even had people comment on that. We have an Apple TV and the remote for that is so little, this is a nice place to store it when not in use so it doesn't get lost. Overall, love it.
This product is aesthetically pleasing and adds a touch of modern to a room. While it is annoying that there is no power strip included and normal surge protectors will not fit inside it, it worked well for what I needed. I was able just to run the individual cords out through the back behind my desk and into a surge protector. This method still keeps the cords out of sight. It is so much easier having a space to charge my ipod and phone.
Having the cords run out of the unit and down to the surge protector actually is more usefull for those who want to turn off the unit when not charging. Since the sugre protector is right behind the desk, I can just flick the switch off and on between charges instead of having to remove the grass each time to do the same thing.
Overall, the unit is worth the price just as a decorative piece, but also works to organize cords into one place and provide a stand for charging electronics.
This is cute, but a little cheap. The extension cord and power adapter SHOULD be included because a specific size is required.
