After my cell phone was not even a year old, the battery was not holding a charge. It would die in about 5 mintues. So instead of going through insurance and paying for a new phone, I decided to try this battery instead. After about 2 weeks of use it has been working great! Holds a charge like a brand new battery and definately saved me money from purchasing an entire new phone or battery directly from the manufacturer. Recommend this product.
Yes, it says new, but it's not and don't kid yourself thinking that they can't falsely advertise "New" cause they do and Amazon lets them do it. For a handful of dollars, half of which is non refundable shipping you might get lucky and the battery you get won't be completely used up. Everyone gets lucky once in a while!? Right!? ...Now you know how all those old batteries get "re-cycled".
This new Motorola battery is clearly aimed at the shotgun approach - aim in the general direction of what the customers want (more minutes) ... make it cheap and make lots of them ... and when you can only talk for 200 minutes everyone should say, "well it works (good enough) not to throw it out this week."
