Triangular Shape - grip, left-handed

There are all kinds of pencil grips out there and now available which was not always the case. These triangular grips were some of the first made and to be quite honest, for my purposes, are still superior to most of the newer ones on the market.

I work with challenged children. Most of these kids have multiple problems... physically, mentally and emotionally. Many of them have great difficulties using a standard pencil or pen. They simply cannot grip the writing instrument correctly and have problems manipulating them.

These grips are ideal for helpers. They give more bulk to the pen or pencil. They make is more difficult for the pencil to rotate in the fingers and the children are much less likely to drop them. Simply put, there writing and drawing improves when one of these are added to the pencil or pen.

There are additional advantages also. These grips STAY on the pencil and are more difficult to remove than some other brands and models. Due to the material, they resist getting dirty as fast as some of the softer ones you find. It is more difficult to loose the pencil or pen with one of these grips on them and they are much less likely to be "borrowed." Depending upon the number of children you are dealing with, it is always nice to assign colors to the individual child or group of children...as the case may be. These are also quite cost effective. Despite everything you do, they are constantly disappearing into some black hole to join generation after generation of lost pencils...and socks I might add. One of the greatest thing about these grips is that they stop the pencil from constantly rolling off the desk...this is an absolute blessing!

Most importantly I suppose, is the fact that most kids like these things and will, for the most part, actually use them.

These things work for the most part. It is nice that they do not cost a fortune. You can buy a couple, or in this case three and if they work for our child, then great. If they do not work or the child does not like them or refuses to use them, and this sometimes does happen, then you are not out all that much coinage.

This is a good product. Give them a try.
