Rpg - rpg
The download service works well enough, but this is supposed to be a LAN game. Enix is forcing you to sign up for an on-line service just to play the freakin' demo! They ruined DSIII as a RPG game, and they have ruined it as a LAN game as well. Further, their internet gaming server software is the most defective garbage I have seen in 20 years. Stay away from this product; it blows! Dungeon Siege 3 - Demo [Download]
Spent more than a few hours trying to get the game to load.Went through all the FAQ tips and several download attempts. Copy would not validate. Have had suscess with several other games from streaming.
i wrote a very heated dislike comment concerning this game istill dont really enjoy it but iam forgetting how much hard work was involve by many different people to developed it. i apoligize at any rate i was looking for a dungeon seige type game that somewhat resembles the two originals 1 and 2 this is a entirely new type of game but its decent thanks
Played the first two Dungeon Siege gmaes, several times over the years. They can get monotinous, tiresome, but they are entertaining. HOWEVER, this new DS3 is...how can I put this diplomatically,,,,JUNK. A rip off of 60USD, a waste at 40 USD, and now at 20USD it is more in line with reason. However, it still is a pitiful offering. The controls need overhaul, the loot is TRASH, and the stilted acting begs for groans and guffaws. Played the demo thru several times to aquaint self w/ controls, and STILL got irritated at having to stop play or interupt scenes to loot or change-up items. AND on top of poor design, you have to use STEAM to play the game. FREE service, and worth every penny. Drop frames, slow-mo, lag, and other irritants, made me ask for my money back. Perhaps, I am just dissapointed after looking forward to this offering, and time may mellow my view, but HEY, why pay for a game you can't use w/o the permission of STEAM, or sony, or .....? This from a ten yr EQ vet.If you dont mind the aggr, and have 20USD to throw away, go for it...Otherwise look at Morrowind, Elder Scrolls series. At least try the DEMO first....IT had its moments.
well after being a dedicated Diablo nut and then got sick of waiting for blizzard to release Diablo 3 ; I went and bought dungeon siege 3 and well im so impressed with the graphics the game play is sweet. The views are awesome and the way u can change your views and all works well.
Sick graphics and well made story line but tends to annoy after u have done the scne but must go back if you die ! lol good luck i recomend
9 hours to download on cable (they say 2.5). Didn't know it was an online version as I refuse to pay for such services. Now add that the game wants another 3+ hours to initialize. Sorry, you just lost a sale. Don't bother with the demo unless you have ample bandwidth and time to spare.
A friend of mine downloaded this demo game a while back and we tried for a long while to get it working correctly through all of the steps provided. After a few hours we decided to give up on trying. I would have liked to have played it.
The game looks interesting and it appears as though you can get the demo but if you try to download this demo what you actually get is software for Steam. Steam requires you to create an account to log in to its service. I did not do this so I do not know if there is any other misdirection after that. If the steam service is required Amazon should put that somewhere in the description.
Edit: Correction, there is a spot in the description that says a steam account is required. My mistake.
Like most of the demo's of games I've downloaded they are mostly all unplayable despite the fact my system in only six months old, kind of lame. So I can't write a game review but can say it seems like if you not running a dual core processor your not gonna be able to play ninety nine percent of the games outhere. So no review just another glitchy waste of my time. Kind of blows there's money to be made off us if they would just make games our comps could handle. - Rpg'
