This toy failed within a couple days, and it was not just a defective unit. I have three differnt toys from the same line, and they all failed almost immediately.
So, I opened them up to take a look at the electronics. Just a really poor design. If you press the button too hard, you bend a contact spring. After that, it will never work again because the contact doesn't hit the right place on the circuit board. Easily fixed by bending it back, but without further modification it is just going to happen again. Guess this company has never heard of testing. Angry Birds 5" Plush Yellow Bird with Sound
My 8 year old likes this a lot. It is made of decent quality plush and honestly looks the part: a round ball with a beak on the front. The 'sound' piece is in the top of the head, between the eyebrows and black plumage on top. You squeeze the forehead and it makes the sounds that that particular bird makes in the Angry Birds game. This one has 3 different soundtracks that I've been able to identify. It's not the same thing every time but gives you the different sounds randomly.
One thing about the yellow plushie is that it picks up dirt easily and tends to look dirty even when new in the box. For that reason, I'd recommend a different colored one unless you are getting a set.
I got this plush doll for my mom for her birthday. She loves Angry Birds, and this little guy now rests on her desk. It's cute. We haven't had a problem with it breaking, but we're also not using it a whole bunch.'
