Sony Dvd Player - sony, accessories

This case is advertised and recommended for fitting a Sony 9 inch portable DVD player. Yes, the case is well built and does fit the player. BUT, the case is TOO small for the player and the power cord needed to charge battery for the player if you go on an extended trip (which we wanted it for in the first place). If you want to carry the player, the power-cord, and a few DVDs in their original cases you will need to find something larger. It would have been helpful if the case advertisement had the dimensions of the case so the consumer could verify that their machine would fit and not rely solely on the seller's title for the product. Sony DVPFX950 9-Inch Portable DVD Player Hard Nylon Traveling Case + Includes a eBigValue (TM) Determination Hand Strap Key Chain + Includes a Crystal Clear High Quality HD Noise Filter Earbuds Earphones Headphones 3.5mm Jack

This item was just as discribed and fits perfectly with my Sony 9" DVD Player. I especially like the Velcro strap that holds the player in place in the case. The storage pocket in the lid of the case can hold small accessories and a DVD in a standard case. Some standard cases can hold up to 6 DVDs (ex; the Dark Angel Season One & Season Two) but these cases may be only for manuf/distributer's use and not available for consumer purchase. The case will fit snuggly but you can also use two slim cases as an alternative. The only accessory that seems too cumbersome to fit easily is the AC Adaptor. Sure you can fit it in but then you have to make choices among the other items to take with you. The free earbuds have a rubbery inside that allows them to fit snuggly in the ears and at the same time block out some of the ambiant noise. They give clear loud trebel and midrange but are weak on the bass. The Hand Strap Key Chain is also free but more of a mystery since it doesn't relate to the case in any way & there's only a thin cord on the end not a medal ring to hold keys. All in all I'm very satisfied with this product.

There are much better products out there. It holds the dvd player just fine, but it doesn't hold your power cords or any movies. And, the vendor will not let you return it just because you don't like it. Only if it is damaged!

The information was misleading. I was wanting a Sony case and the description lead you to believe it was a Sony but it was some off brand never heard of and not near as good qualitiy. Soft back and wasn't big enough. I have one from another co. for myself and 10 times better and the same price. This was a present and I was running out of time so I had to keep it. VERY disappointed BUT loved the SONY DVD.

Purchased to use with the Sony DVP-950. The player fits nicely inside and there is a strap to secure same. The overall construction quality seems good.

The accessory pouch is a bit too small to store the DC adapter and the AC adapter and headphones and there's really no place for the remote control.

As to the "hand strap key chain"......throw it in the trash as well as the "earbuds" .......equally need to be trashed.

All in all, a bit pricey for what one gets but it's a nice looking case.

Advertised as specific case for DVP-FX950 and it is not. It is a generic case for various items. No compartments for DVDs, charging cords do not fit when DVD player is in case. Would not recommend product for DVD player.

This bag is a perfect fit for our Sony portable DVD player. It really is solidly made, and surprisingly well designed, and being made with better then expected materials for the price. Would definitely recommend. Have never used the headphones, so can't rate them.

cheap, a bunch of little clear pockets for i-dont-know what. The zipper works well, for now, which i guess is what is most important. The headphones that came with it are white, not black. its a gift so i haven't tried them to see if they work yet. i don't like that the inside of the case has an entire insert of little clear plastic squrares. Maybe they are suposed to hold a bunch of little memory cards? I'm not sure. Overall, the case serves its purpose in protecting the DVD player from scratches & from being squished in a backpack. - Organization - Bags - Accessories - Sony'
