The fabric on the plus size dress is a bit thin, but it does have a 2nd layer as you can see. Also I feel like I still need to purchase a slip though.
I ordered a size 16.5 and it's a perfect fit for my soon-to-be 10 year old. My daughter saw this dress and just had to have it for Easter. I was a little worried about buying it online, getting it and having it not fit her and then having to go through the trouble of returning it. I ordered the 14.5 and it fits great. She even has a little extra growing room in it. I got it on sale for $40 and with shipping and handling it came to $49. A little high, but not too bad for a nice girls dress. I ordered it on Friday and had it that Monday. The dress is very nice. It looked off white/cream color on my monitor, but is actually white eyelet fabric. The skirt is very nice, with 3 layers of material consisting of a white slip, then a netting layer and finally the top layer. The skirt is very full. The hot pink bow tied at the waist is cute, but does not go all the way around the dress, it stops on the sides. There is a tie at the waist in the back made out of the polka dot material. The dress is very cute and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice girls dress for a specail occassion.'
