These bottles are thick glass and look like they will be very durable. One thing not mentioned is that the caps were not attached when they arrived, and can be difficult to remove if they're put on incorrectly. Make sure the bottle will close properly before you push the cap into place.

Great price for these swing top type bottles. You are not likely to find a price better than this on amazon or elsewhere even including shipping costs.
One bottle was broken upon arrival which is curious since the package was double boxed and filled with shipping peanuts. No worries, the low cost still makes up for the one lost bottle.
Swing top must be "installed" on top of bottle, but this is a breeze and can be completed for the dozen in less than 5 minutes. Just put one end (read: metal stud) of the swing top in a hole, and push the other side around the glass bottle. The other end (metal stud) will somewhat magically find the other hole. Be sure you have the swing top faced in the proper direction, or you will have to disassemble the top and start over (did this easily with a pair of pliers using leverage, but there's glass involved so it's a little worrisome...just do it correct the first time).
Will buy again.
These quality bottles arrived well-packaged and right on time. They are terrific for bottling homemade vanilla extract for gift-giving, and they nicely display the big vanilla beans. I am very pleased and have already ordered another couple of cases. - Bottles - Homebrewing - Clear'
