I needed glow sticks to use with a group of students for an outdoor nighttime game we were playing. I bought these because they were seemed to be the best deal.
Pros: Cheap and come with some neat connectors to make a pair of glasses and a ball.
Cons: Dull glow, short glowing lifespan, and a number of the sticks leaked as I cracked them.
I would not recommend this product as there are very similar products on Amazon that are only slightly more expensive and are worth the additional $3 for the same quantity. In fact, I had a similar product left over from when I ordered from Amazon last year for the same purpose. Low quality. These glow sticks last only about 20-30 minutes from the time you crack them. About 10-25% of all three tubes (100/tube) were duds. We also had multiple breaks from our 300 purchased. I went with Amazon over a site dedicated to glow sticks as they were slightly cheaper. However, the product is not worth the marginal savings.
We have purchased these glow sticks every Halloween for the last five years and the kids love them. We have a bowl of candy with a bunch of glow sticks already glowing bright for the kids to choose from and no one touches the candy until the glow sticks are gone. I highly recommend this product.
Just got these from the mail today. I ordered this for our family camp - had in mind that it will be a blast during praise and worship night. Tested a couple of sticks and they are great! I heard from another review that it usually lasts 2 nights.
I didn't expect extra goodies like stuff to clip them together and make glasses, balls etc. Glow granny you rock!
I work on a college campus and recently purchased these for a late night event. The glowsticks were a huge hit with the students, who loved them. They come packaged in groups of 100, with the small connecters included separately. So, it did take a little while to connect each of the bracelet connects to the sticks.
However, they are a great deal and were a huge hit. The colors are bright and some sicks have two colors in the same tube - half of one, then half of another - which the students made special requests for.
